Anpanman is one of Japan's most famous children's anime, but its theme song carries a surprisingly deep message. What does it say about happiness, purpose, and self-sacrifice? In this episode, I break down the lyrics of Anpanman no Māchi and explore its philosophical themes.Check out our transcripts, video podcasts, and Japanese learning resources at: https://sayurisaying.com/anpanman-life-lessons/Your support helps keep this podcast alive and means a lot to me. With so many people facing changes in their work and careers right now, navigating the complex and turbulent waters of layoffs, org changes, and economic adjustments can be incredibly challenging. My guest today is renowned design leader and author John Maeda - who is no stranger to career shifts and changes. In this inspiring episode, John shares his message of focusing on recovery instead of failure, the importance of intentional reinvention, and the benefits of renewal and rebuilding. This episode is a replay from 2019, and it's just as relevant today as it was then. Since our conversation in 2019, John has gone on to take on different roles and is now the VP of Design and Artificial Intelligence at Microsoft. We mentioned his keynote at Interaction 19, which has since been recorded and is available online - we've included the link to that and other inspiring references we mention in the show description and on our website at uxcake.co.This episode covers a lot of ground - John talked about why we should focus on recover fast vs. fail fast, why inclusive design is so important, and why we should be using Anpanman to train our AI platforms. It's time to finish what we started - welcome to the third and final instalment of our Love Yourself: Tear review! Hopefully you might have listened in order but just in case, we intended to publish this episode as a full album review like we normally do. We did however have even more to say about this album than normal, so whilst trying to edit several hours of recording into a normal length episode however we had the idea of publishing this album review in three parts. To finish off the album we present to you some hot takes on odd kids, bouncy castles, vibe songs and Auto-Tune. Should Outro: Tear go somewhere else in the album? Does it ruin the vibe after So What? Is Anpanman better with choreo? Who will run away with our awards? Find out in this episode!Follow us on Insta @generationbts_ to see Natasha's excellent reels and other episode/content updates, or email us at GenerationBTSAllTheAlbums@gmail.com if you want to get in touch! We've also recently joined Twitter @generationbts_, TikTok @generationbts_, and YouTube @generationbts, so you can follow us there too if you want. You can find the links to the videos we talked about here. Thanks so much for listening and Borahae! x Hosted on Acast. Hey Army! I hope that you have enjoyed your week! I choose two motivational and break-free songs: "Anpanman & Dionysus'. Through many inspirations, meanings, lyrics, and the view the songs each song have lots of emotion, dedication, love, and motivation. Anpanman displays BTS trying to protect people from horrible people as BTS as the hero. Showing us that their music is a way for us to see how they have helped Armies in their hardships. "Dionysus" conveys BTS's message about being celebrities and how they want to let societal practices roll off their backs. Explaining that the celebrity job is not what is it cracked up to be. Recognizing their hard work throughout their careers as artists and Kpop idols. Assuring us that they have success through the hard work that they put in. Hope you enjoy this episode and I had fun creating it. Hoping to bring lots of love and hope to y'all through this and BTS! Please let me know which song is your favorite and favorite lyrics too! See you next time on BTS Breakdown! Quick Shout out to everyone who has listened to this podcast and continues to listen to it, I cannot thank you enough. Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo Em
This week we talk about BTS PTD on Stage - Seoul: Live Viewing. We were lucky enough to snag tickets to a local theater and it was packed with other ARMYs. People brought ARMYbombs, signs, flags, freebies and more to the venue. It was so fun to be around a group of people who share the same interest as you. We get into the set list - what changed, what stayed the same, new outfits, song changes, new performances, who fell, who cursed, etc! We can't talk about Day 2 without mentioning the rain. K-ARMY's are the real MVP for dealing with the cold, COVID regulations and the rain! Unfortunately, we did have one negative thing to say about Day 2 Live Viewing and that is, we were really disappointed that it did not have subtitles so we couldn't understand what they were saying during the speeches or random talking moments to each other. Join the BTSBombshells as we dive into all aspects of the concert; from two new performances, Go Go and Anpanman, to RM cursing, Jungkook's sleek rainbow shirt, Jimin and Suga's wipeout on stage, Jin's adorable hat, J-Hope's insane dance moves, V giving a ring to Jungkook and so much more!
Gostou do nosso conteúdo? People think cartoons in Asian countries are only about Anime.. nah we have basic English and Japanese cartoons too, from Barny to Anpanman. Depending on how rich your family is, you probably get more expensive channels like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc..
Every hero have weakness, but so is Anpanman. His weakness is wet face.Because, his face is made of anpan.Wet bread is not delicious, isn't it?

On this episode of Manga Mavericks, Colton & Lum once again tackle more news from the world of manga! We also discuss a lot of new manga from various publishers, including three new doujinshi from Irodori Comics' LGBTQ-focused imprint Irodori Sakura, as well as three new simulpubs! We start off with the manga adaptation of Japan Sinks 2020 exclusively on Mangamo, followed by Ghost Reaper Girl from Shonen Jump, and last but not least, Lockdown Zone: Level X from Denpa! It's a cool collection of new series that we were very excited to talk about and we hope you all check them out! Unfortunately, we also had to address the arrest of Tatsuya Matsuki, the writer of Act-Age, and the subsequent fallout, such as the cancellation of the series in Shonen Jump and everything else related to it. Our hearts go out to the victims of Matsuki's crimes, as well as Shiro Usazaki, whose artistic talent was responsible for bringing the world and characters of Act-Age to life, and we hope she is able to find more work and success in the future. It goes without saying that we here at Manga Mavericks will NOT be supporting or reviewing any of Matsuki's works in the future and will be dedicating a future episode to our frustrations with the sexist workplace culture at Shonen Jump that has unfortunately festered and harbored multiple predators. Hard to believe that it’s been four months since the world, as we knew it, completely changed to a sudden standstill in the wake of… well, everything. Not that you’d notice it in some areas, but trust me, things are still pretty bad out there. It’s also lead to the shutdown and suspension of the anime convention circuit – that includes YOU, Anime Matsuri – but thanks to the power of the internet the shows are still able to go on… if only a bit smaller than usual. But that means you don’t have to worry about crowds this time around, which is always a net positive. So, for this landmark 75th episode of the show, we have a sizable amount of news topics to discuss, including the usual routine of streaming news, upcoming projects, some surprising series coming very soon, and the major announcements coming out of the virtual-slash-online Anime Expo Lite and FunimationCon events, which comes with the worst-kept secret of the summer: THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU. Let’s just hope that the world won’t actually end with us losing our patience and minds in the wake of… again, everything. 4:55 – RIP Tatsufumi Itō7:19 – Kyoto Animation memorial event happening July 188:59 – Crunchyroll now has PRECURE16:10 – Cyberpunk: Edgerunners project coming in 202222:58 – GKIDS acquires Inu-Oh and Earwig and the Witch films26:45 – Scott Pilgrim… the anime?

This week Pastor Tobi takes us through Luke 18 and tells us about a hero that is even better than “Anpanman”! Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Luke 18:31-43. What does this passage teach you about Jesus Christ, our healer and savior? GROW: What may be distracting you from encountering Jesus more fully? Busyness? False expectations? People's opinions? Etc. What do you want Jesus to do for you? OVERFLOW: Without seeking any praise, what sacrifice can you make this week to bless someone in need? May be it's a financial sacrifice. Or sacrificing your time to intentionally listen to someone's story. Perhaps sacrificing your energy as a volunteer to make someone's life a little bit better, etc.

Ep #27: I’m really excited to share with you my conversation with John Maeda — about Reinvention. This episode covers a lot of ground John talked about why we should focus on recover fast vs. fail fast, why inclusive design is so important, and why we should be using Anpanman to train our AI platforms. John is well known for so many things, across design, tech, and business worlds. He wrote one of my favorite books, titled “The Laws of Simplicity.” He’s also written extensively on design, leadership, and technology, has been a professor at MIT Media Lab, the president of Rhode Island School of Design, he has been and is an advisor and board member of many startups and companies, and for the last 3 or so years he has been the global head of computational design and inclusion at Automattic. Whether you know who John is or not, you’re in for a real treat because he’s just so insightful, and truly enjoyable to listen to. John will be speaking at the Interaction19 conference in Seattle in February.John Maeda is an American executive spearheading a new convergence across the design and technology industries. He joined Automattic in 2016 as Global Head of Computational Design + Inclusion and previously served as Design Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), a world-leading venture capital firm.
