A really cool thing about God is that He has a solution for literally every situation, and that includes mental health. We see this especially in the ministry of Jesus, who walked the land healing people of all sorts of terrible things. One day, He encountered a man driven insane by demons.Mark 5:15 says, “They came to Jesus and observed the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had the ‘legion'; and they became frightened.”The “Legion,” those who possessed this man's mind, were no match for Jesus, who simply commanded them to leave the man in peace. And they did! Now, not every mental health problem is related to possession. But mental illness is so devastating to the patient, family, and friends that it often feels like evil lives there. Not so in the peaceful kingdom of our Lord. If you or a loved one struggles with mental issues, ask the Lord to help you. He has done it many times. That man with the peaceful face and clear mind all those years ago is proof of that.Let's pray.Lord, you own the universe and can solve any problem. Please, especially today, be with those afflicted by mental illness. Come to them and comfort them and heal them. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! In this episode of Hands in the Soil, we sit down with Andrew Flachs, associate professor of anthropology at Purdue University and author of two books that ask some of the most clarifying questions in food systems discourse: Cultivating Knowledge: Biotechnology, Sustainability, and the Human Cost of Cotton Capitalism in India and his most recent, Feeding the World as if People Mattered: How Small Farms Produce Value Beyond Yields. Andrew grew up in a small Pennsylvania town with a grandmother's garden he admittedly didn't love as a kid, and found his way into this work through a chance encounter with urban gardening research, a student meal cooperative, and an advisor who sent him to India at exactly the right moment. Andrew brings the kind of rigor to this conversation that comes from years in the field with farmers across three continents, combined with a willingness to question the assumptions baked into how we talk about food. Tune in to learn more about:How Andrew went from hating picking beans as a kid to becoming a leading anthropologist of food and agricultureWhy the fight to prove that small farms can match conventional yields is the wrong fight entirelyThe "iceberg economy" and all the care work, infrastructure, and labor that lies beneath the visible surface of our food systemWhat his research across the US Midwest, Bosnia, and South India revealed about what small farming families actually share across different contextsThe explosion of GM cotton seeds in India, from three brands in 2002 to over a thousand by 2012, and what that did to farmers' knowledge, livelihoods, and mortality ratesWhy farmers on organic cotton programs kept farming even when the economic math didn't add up, and what that reveals about what farming is actually forThe true costs of "cheap" food: what isn't being counted in environmental degradation, public health, labor exploitation, and soil lossWhy efficiency is often a trap, and how efficient technologies without systemic change just lead us to do more of the same harmful thingHow the current Farm Bill debate and the Iran war oil disruptions reveal the fragility of just-in-time global supply chainsWhat a resilient food system would require, and what we already know how to doBooks & Resources MentionedBy Andrew Flachs:Feeding the World as if People Mattered: How Small Farms Produce Value Beyond Yields(Use code AZFLR for 30% off. The RV industry is chasing the wrong generation. While manufacturers court 30-somethings with outdoor TVs and influencer campaigns, the buyers who are actually writing checks right now look nothing like the people in the ads.Last week I sat around a campfire in Hocking Hills, Ohio with 88 members of our RVCommunity. I asked how many had bought a new RV in the past year. Eleven hands went up. A 12th would have, but he was out on a six-mile hike. He was turning 70.That tells you everything the sales charts do not.In this episode we dig into who is really driving the RV market right now, what experienced RVers actually want that manufacturers keep missing, the quiet but alarming shift happening in our national parks, and a dramatic rescue on the Appalachian Trail that is a reminder of exactly why preparation matters out there.Read the companion blog post on RVing in the second half of life at RVLifestyle.com - link below. Here is the complete episode, start to finish.THE RV PODCAST - MONDAY NEWS EDITION Episode Air Date: Monday, June 23, 2026 - 6:00 AM Approx. Running Time: 25 Minutes Host: Mike WendlandTHE LAST GENERATION THAT KNOWS HOW TO TRAVEL ...and why the RV industry keeps ignoring themOPENLast week I was sitting around a campfire in Hocking Hills, Ohio, with about 50 members of our RVCommunity.com.I asked a simple question: how many of you have bought a brand new RV in the last year?Eleven hands went up. A 12th would have, but he was out on a six-mile sunset hike - and he was turning 70 that summer. This was happening while the RV industry is posting some of the worst wholesale shipment numbers in over a decade.Which raises a question the people running this industry ought to be asking themselves: who exactly are they building RVs for?Because I can tell you who is actually buying them. And they look nothing like the people in the ads.OPENINGGood morning and welcome to the RV Podcast Monday News Edition. I'm Mike Wendland.Eighteen Emmy Awards. Thirty-plus years covering everything from wars to the White House to consumer affairs. And for the past 15 years, living the RV lifestyle myself with my wife Jennifer in every type of rig you can imagine, coast to coast, all 48 contiguous states.Today's show is a little different. Instead of leading with a breaking story, I want to start with something I witnessed firsthand that I believe tells you more about the real state of the RV market than any press release you will read this year. And if you want to go deeper after you listen, I have been writing about this topic at RVLifestyle.com for the past several weeks. We have been exploring what it means to RV in the second half of life - the freedom, the community, the mindset, and yes, the ways the industry keeps getting it wrong. There is a link in the show notes. I think you will recognize yourself in it.Here is what is happening on the road. And here is what the industry is getting wrong. Let's get into it.LEAD STORY: THE LAST GENERATION THAT KNOWS HOW TO TRAVELThe RV industry is having a rough year. A really rough year. And the numbers tell the story fast, so let me give them to you and move on, because the real story is not the numbers. The real story is who is still out there buying and camping while those numbers grind downward.Wholesale shipments are down more than 13 percent through the first four months of 2026. Retail sales off 14 to 15 percent from last year. The industry's own forecast, just revised downward again this month, now projects this as one of the worst years for new RV sales in over a decade. So who is still buying? Here is what I can tell you from 15 years in this world and from what I saw last week in Hocking Hills. The people who are still writing checks for new RVs, right now, in the worst market in a decade, are the people the industry seems most determined to pretend do not exist.Baby Boomers. Older Gen Xers. People who grew up reading paper maps. Making reservations by phone. Talking to strangers when they got lost. Fixing things with their hands. Navigating real uncertainty with nothing but experience and nerve.According to industry research, Americans 50 and older remain the primary customer segment for RVs. Many are retirees fulfilling long-held travel dreams, and that population is still growing as the tail end of the baby boom ages into retirement. These are people with home equity, disposable income, and something even more valuable: the time and the confidence to actually use what they buy.And yet when you look at the ads. When you watch the Go RVing campaigns. When you walk the floor of any major RV show and look at the marketing materials stacked at the booths. You see toned and trendy 30-year-olds doing yoga on the roof of a Class B. You see influencers with ring lights and perfect hair. What you do not see is the 68-year-old retired engineer who just dropped $95,000 on a new fifth wheel and is headed to Alaska. That is a real blind spot. And I think it is costing the industry real money. Here is what I saw at our Hocking Hills rally. Eighty-eight people, ranging from their 50s into their 80s. Riding bikes and e-bikes and scooters. Hiking up and down some of the most spectacular terrain in the Midwest. One of our members, a retired RV technician, got under a fellow member's trailer and repacked the wheel bearings on the spot. Another couple spent an afternoon giving scooter lessons to anyone who wanted to learn.Nobody was stuck. Nobody was panicking. When something broke, someone fixed it. When someone needed help, someone helped them. These are people who grew up problem-solving before there was an app for it. And they brought every one of those skills out here.I asked how many had bought a new RV in the past year. Eleven hands went up. Twelve if you count the man who was out on a six-mile hike at 70 years old. This is happening while the industry chases 33-year-olds with solar panels and TikTok aesthetics.I am not saying younger buyers are not important. They are the future and we need them. But the marketing case being made inside RV boardrooms right now, that the 50-plus buyer is yesterday's news, is demonstrably wrong. And in a market this soft, you cannot afford to ignore your most reliable customer.I wrote about this at length over at RVLifestyle.com. It is part of an ongoing series we have been running on RVing in the second half of life. The link is in the show notes. If today's lead story speaks to you, that post will too.STORY 2: WHO IS ACTUALLY DRIVING THE MARKETThe demographic picture of who owns and buys RVs is more complicated than the ads suggest, and it is worth understanding. The median age of RV owners has come down in recent years. Younger buyers were absolutely part of the pandemic surge. Millennials and Gen Z now represent roughly 22 percent of RV owners - the same share as Baby Boomers - which tells you something about how quickly the demographics shifted during COVID.But here is what the industry sometimes misses in that data. Younger buyers came in during a period of historically low interest rates, flush pandemic savings, and work-from-home flexibility. Those conditions no longer exist. The buyers who are proving most resilient in this market are the ones who are not dependent on 7 percent financing to make the purchase work.Industry analyst Earl Hunter Jr., founder of The Unity Folks, put it bluntly in a recent trade publication outlook piece. He said the biggest trend in the RV industry right now is, simply, lack of growth. And that the industry has not figured out why emerging demographics and nontraditional consumers have little to no interest in the RV lifestyle. That is a real problem worth solving. But while the industry works on reaching new audiences, there is a generation of experienced, well-capitalized, deeply motivated buyers out on the road right now who built this market and are still carrying it. They deserve a little more respect than a supporting role in someone else's marketing story.STORY 3: WHAT EXPERIENCED RVers ACTUALLY WANT - AND WHAT MANUFACTURERS KEEP MISSINGI want to tell you one more thing from Hocking Hills, because I think it reveals something important about the disconnect between what the industry is building and what experienced RVers actually need.During our campfire conversation, I asked people what features they most use in their current rigs. What do they love. What they would change.Nobody mentioned outdoor TVs. Not one person. This is notable because outdoor entertainment has been one of the most aggressively marketed RV features of the last several years. Manufacturers have been loading up rigs with outdoor TVs, outdoor kitchens, outdoor speakers. The assumption is that RVers want to recreate the suburban living room experience outside. Our members were out hiking six miles. They were packed into a campfire circle talking to each other. They were fixing each other's trailers. The last thing they wanted was a television. What did they talk about wanting? Better towing stability. Improved service networks. Simpler systems that do not require a software update to turn on the hot water. Quality that lasts. And dealers who actually know the products they are selling. These are people with decades of RV miles behind them. They know exactly what they need and exactly what they do not. When you have that kind of experience, you stop being impressed by features and start being impressed by reliability. The industry could learn a lot by listening more carefully to the people who have been doing this the longest....

Iran negotiations are causing uncertainty inside the Trump administration. President Trump recently joked that if the negotiations succeed, he'll take full credit, but if it fails, he's handing the blame to Vice President JD Vance. It might seem like a joke on the surface, but it may also indicate that Trump is positioning Vance as the face of the Iran negotiations, despite Vance's initial opposition to the war. On October 15, 2022, four college wrestlers hiked into Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest to hunt for shed antlers. They never saw the grizzly coming. When the bear attacked, one teammate made a split-second decision that would later earn him North America's highest civilian honor for heroism—and leave both young men fighting for their lives on a remote mountainside. With a broken arm and hundreds of stitches between them, getting off that mountain would take everything they had, and everyone they came with. This is a story about what happens when training, instinct, and brotherhood collide with the raw power of the wild. 00:00 Welcome to The Crux 00:38 Grizzly Charge Cold Open 01:35 Meet the Wrestlers 03:49 Split Up on the Trail 04:33 Brady Gets Mauled 06:35 Kendall Runs In 10:25 Second Attack and Silence 11:28 911 Call and Rescue Push 16:15 Hospital and Injury Breakdown 19:37 Bear Spray Lessons 20:47 Recovery and Hero Medal 22:30 Documentary and Facing Bears Again 24:12 Bear Spray vs Firearms Data 27:18 Practical Bear Country Tips 29:17 Bonus Bear in the House 30:56 Final Takeaway and Wrap Up 32:40 Outro and Listener Support Listen AD FREE: Support our podcast at patreaon: http://patreon.com/TheCruxTrueSurvivalPodcast Email us! thecruxsurvival@gmail.com Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thecruxpodcast/ Get schooled by Julie in outdoor wilderness medicine! https://www.headwatersfieldmedicine.com/ REFERENCES CNN — "College wrestlers mauled in gruesome grizzly bear attack" (October 20, 2022) ESPN — "Northwest College wrestlers hospitalized after bear attack" (October 19, 2022) ABC News — "Wyoming college wrestlers recount near-death fight with grizzly bear" (October 19, 2022) NBC News — "Two college wrestlers injured in grizzly bear attack while hunting in Wyoming" (October 18, 2022) CBS Sports — "Wyoming college wrestler saves teammate from being mauled by grizzly bear" (October 19, 2022) Deseret News — "Grizzly bear attacks two college wrestlers in Wyoming" (October 17, 2022) FloWrestling — "Northwest College Wrestlers Recovering After 'Horrifying' Bear Attack" (October 19, 2022) Cowboy State Daily — "Highest Heroism Award For Wyoming Wrestler Who Saved Teammate From Grizzly" (March 25, 2024) Cowboy State Daily — "There's More To Kendell Cummings Than Being The Guy Who Wrestled A Grizzly" (March 26, 2024) KTVQ — "Northwest College wrestlers 'in face of adversity, made it through' months after grizzly bear attack" (February 27, 2024) Powell Tribune — "Northwest College wrestler honored for extraordinary heroism" (March 28, 2024) Carnegie Hero Fund Commission — "17 recognized by Carnegie Hero Fund for saving others from peril" (March 2024) East Idaho News — "Young man who saved friend during grizzly bear attack among 17 receiving prestigious national honor" (April 7, 2024) KSL — "Man who saved friend during grizzly attack receives prestigious national honor" (2024) Wyoming Game and Fish Department Statement (October 2022) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What can small language models teach us that the largest AI models cannot? Kelly and Julian are joined by Microsoft Cloud Advocate Gwyneth Peña-Sigüenza to explore why working with small language models (SLMs) may be one of the best ways to understand AI. Rather than relying on increasingly capable models that hide complexity, Gwyneth argues that constraints build stronger fundamentals. From prompt engineering and context management to deployment and security, SLMs force learners to think more carefully about how AI actually works. The conversation extends beyond AI models into learning itself. Gwyneth shares her self-taught journey from growing up on a remote farm in Ecuador with limited internet access to becoming a Microsoft Cloud Advocate and creator of the Learn to Cloud platform. Along the way, the group discusses productive struggle, mentorship, cloud engineering, Python, security, and what educators should prioritize as AI becomes part of every student's learning experience. The episode closes with a thoughtful discussion about AI dependency, judgment, and whether we would actually flip the switch and turn AI off if given the choice. Show Notes Wins of the Week Gwyneth celebrates the New York Knicks reaching the NBA Finals after more than 50 years. Julian shares that he has accepted a new role as a Fractional CTO. Kelly reflects on taking her first real vacation in over a year—and how stepping away from work sparked unexpected ideas. Small Language Models Why SLMs are valuable teaching tools Learning prompt engineering through constraints Running models locally on everyday hardware When local AI makes sense for classrooms Understanding tokens, context windows, and model limitations Why bigger models can sometimes hide important lessons Learning Through Constraints Learning to drive in an old manual pickup truck as a metaphor for learning AI fundamentals Why difficult learning experiences often create lasting understanding Building strong habits before relying on more capable tools Consistency versus constantly chasing the newest resource Self-Taught Learning Growing up without reliable internet in rural Ecuador Downloading YouTube playlists to learn programming offline Developing discipline through limited access The value of repetition and focused practice Why mentorship accelerates learning Python Journey Transitioning from cloud engineering to Python advocacy Learning Python beyond scripting Discovering what "Pythonic" really means Wrestling with list comprehensions and other advanced syntax Favorite learning resources: Fluent Python Effective Python Learn to Cloud Building an open-source cloud engineering curriculum Hands-on labs and automated verification AI-assisted assessment Supporting self-taught learners around the world Creating accessible technical education Cloud, AI, and Security Deploying AI applications to the cloud Containers, virtual machines, and serverless deployments Why operations and security deserve more classroom attention Introducing secure development practices early The importance of authentication, secrets management, and responsible deployment Teaching in the AI Era Helping students understand how AI works instead of simply using it Why productive struggle still matters The changing role of educators Balancing AI assistance with independent thinking Preparing students for a future where AI is always available Final Thoughts AI dependency versus capability Judgment as the skill that matters most Human connection in an AI-driven world Would we actually turn AI off? Milfred and Hands talk with Joel Brennan, one of the least known Democratic candidates for governor with the most executive experience. Brennan has been far back in the polls and didn’t do well in the straw poll at the recent Democratic Party convention. Yet he’s raising a lot of money and starting to tout his impressive resume in TV ads and at campaign stops across the state. Brennan was secretary of the Department of Administration under Gov. Tony Evers and considers himself a “pragmatic progressive.” “You cut me open,” Brennan says, “I’m going to have Wisconsin values.” He understands that he needs to introduce himself to a lot of Wisconsin voters before the Democratic primary on Aug. 11 because of low name recognition. “That’s the thing I’m up against in this race more than anything else,” he says. The likeable Brennan ran the state’s largest science museum before joining the Evers administration and then leading a Milwaukee business and civic leadership group. He’s fed up with President Donald Trump, but says that’s not good enough for the state’s next governor, even though the Republican president is unpopular because of his war and rising prices. “If what people are looking for is just somebody who wants to howl in the wind about what’s going with Donald Trump, there are plenty of us who can do that,” he says. “But for me, it’s never enough just to be angry. It’s got to be about how do you use that to get something done.” Milfred and Hands ask him about schools, taxes, gerrymandering and his favorite card game.

Upside Down Way of God – Riches Through Giving

    Navigation Church

Riches Through Giving What is the richest thing a person can give? Is it money, possessions, opportunities, or something more? In this Father’s Day message, Pastor David explores a surprising truth found throughout Scripture: while the world says riches come from accumulation, God says riches come from generosity. Drawing from Proverbs 11, Luke 6, Acts 20, and the powerful example of John 3:16, we’ll discover that generosity is about far more than finances. It’s about living with open hands and open hearts.Through a personal story involving a green pillow, a son, a daughter, and a lesson in character, we’ll explore how some of the most valuable things we can ever give away are attention, patience, wisdom, identity, direction, honor, and love. Along the way, we’ll uncover a Kingdom principle that appears again and again throughout Scripture: what leaves your hand is not always lost. Often, it is planted. If Proverbs teaches that giving creates flourishing, Luke teaches that giving multiplies, and Acts teaches that giving blesses the giver, then John 3:16 reveals the foundation beneath them all: giving is the very nature of God. Because the richest gift ever given was not something God owned. It was Himself. Proverbs 11, Luke 6, Acts 20, John 3:16 Discussion topics HEAD – What did Jesus say to you through the Word? Pastor David shared that: Proverbs teaches that giving creates flourishing. (Prov 11:24-25) Luke teaches that giving multiplies. (Luke 6:38) Acts teaches that giving blesses the giver. (Acts 20:35) John teaches giving is the nature of God. (John 3:16) Which of the four points from this week’s message stood out to you the most, and why? How did this message expand your understanding of generosity beyond money? Or did it? What’s one lesson you learned from your dad, or father figure, that you still carry with you today? Was it a lesson you want to repeat or one you hope to avoid? How has it influenced your life? HEART – How did it make you feel? Pastor David said, “The things we give away often become the things that make us richest.” Where have you experienced that to be true in your own life? Which of these is hardest for you to give away right now? Time Attention Patience Forgiveness Encouragement Wisdom Money Trust Why do you think that is? Which statement from the sermon resonated most with you personally? “The world says riches come from accumulation. God says riches come from generosity.” “What leaves your hand is not always lost. Often, it is planted.” “The life you pour out eventually becomes the life you experience.” “The greatest inheritance isn’t what you leave behind. It’s what you place inside.” HANDS – What are you going to do with it? Who is one person you can intentionally invest in this week through your time, encouragement, wisdom, or presence? Is there an area of your life where you have been holding on too tightly? What would it look like to trust God with open hands instead? Check out our other audio series and video playlists that can help you find Jesus in every moment and then discover what’s next

On this week's episode of The MacRumors Show, we continue unpacking WWDC 2026 and take a closer look at iOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and Apple's other new software updates coming this fall.00:00 — Intro & beta check-in00:42 — OS compatibility cuts: watchOS, iOS, macOS, tvOS, iPadOS09:49 — Sponsor: Claude11:08 — Liquid Glass refinements & redesigned icons14:10 — Shortcuts with natural language16:34 — Sidebar icons, extra-large widgets & foldable iPhone hints18:43 — Siri's new design & dynamic island shape20:20 — Siri AI in practice: autocorrect, clarifications, and daily use25:57 — Third-party AI extensions & region availability30:03 — Apple Intelligence across apps: Messages, Image Playground, Genmoji, Passwords, nutrition39:35 — macOS Golden Gate & the keynote's new format44:39 — iPadOS, watchOS, visionOS, tvOS, and HomeKit hintsiOS 27 supports the same iPhones as iOS 26, including the iPhone 11 and second-generation iPhone SE, giving the update the widest device compatibility of any iOS release to date.macOS Golden Gate drops Intel Macs entirely, confirming the end of an era that Apple flagged a year earlier when it said macOS Tahoe would be the final release for pre-Apple silicon machines. Four models that ran Tahoe miss out: the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2019), the 13-inch ‌MacBook Pro‌ with four Thunderbolt 3 ports (2020), the 2020 iMac, and the 2019 Mac Pro. Golden Gate is also the last version with full Rosetta 2 support, meaning the translation layer that keeps Intel-built apps running on Apple silicon will disappear entirely after this release.iPadOS 27 raises its hardware floor to the A14 Bionic or M1 chip, cutting the fifth-generation iPad mini, the eighth-generation iPad, the third-generation iPad Air, the first-generation 11-inch iPad Pro, and the third-generation 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌.watchOS 27 makes the steepest cuts in Apple Watch history, dropping the Series 6, Series 7, Series 8, original Ultra, and second-generation SE in a single wave and effectively erasing three years of device support at once. The only models that remain compatible are the Series 9, Series 10, Series 11, Ultra 2, Ultra 3, and SE 3.tvOS 27 drops two Apple TV models, the Apple TV HD from 2015 and the first-generation ‌Apple TV‌ 4K from 2017, leaving only the second- and third-generation ‌Apple TV‌ 4K boxes supported. In ‌iOS 27‌, notifications now slide in from the left edge of the screen rather than dropping down from the top, and reaching Notification Centre requires swiping down from the top-left corner instead of the centre, freeing up that gesture for Siri. Other changes include colorful sidebar icons, real-time widget updates when an app is already open, extra-large Home Screen widgets, and web audio that no longer interrupts other system audio. The centerpiece of the update is Siri AI, which replaces Spotlight with a "Search or Ask" interface accessed by swiping down from the center of the display. ‌Siri‌ is designed to tone-match a user's own writing style when composing messages. Apple's pill-shaped ‌Siri‌ indicator is seemingly a hardware workaround for current Dynamic Island constraints, and a smaller ‌Dynamic Island‌ on the iPhone 18 Pro could allow the indicator to become a true circle. On the Apple Watch, ‌Siri‌ AI requires pairing with an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence. In the European Union, ‌Siri‌ AI is available on macOS and visionOS at launch but not on the iPhone or ‌iPad‌.‌Apple Intelligence‌ is also getting smarter Writing Tools and a composition assistant in Mail and Messages that adapts to how a user typically communicates with different contacts. Apple has overhauled Genmoji, adding a "Describe a change" interface for iterating on existing creations and the ability to start a new Genmoji from an existing emoji, a photo, or a person tagged in the user's photo library. Image Playground similarly adds support for multiple aspect ratios for wallpapers, Contact Posters, and social media images, alongside new photorealistic image generation.Visual Intelligence, meanwhile, gets a new primary entry point called ‌Siri‌ Mode, though holding down Camera Control still works as an alternative. The feature is expanding to the ‌iPad‌ and Mac, and now supports importing multiple calendar events from a single photo of a flyer, as well as importing contacts directly from a photographed business card.On the Mac, ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ extends toolbars and sidebars to the edges of the screen with a more consistent, tighter corner radius across windows. iPadOS 27 adds undo and redo for ‌Home Screen‌ edits, extra-large widgets in Today View, an optional persistent menu bar, and Visual Intelligence support for screenshots combined with Apple Pencil highlighting. Notes gains an Image Wand tool that generates photorealistic images from rough sketches, the ‌Siri‌ app gets a dedicated sidebar with full windowing support, and Shortcuts adds support for Magic Keyboard triggers.watchOS 27 drops the Walkie-Talkie app entirely, with the feature missing from both the app list and Control Center in the first developer beta, while adding new Smart Stack suggestions, more accurate step tracking, and a consolidated Find My app. visionOS 27 lets users activate ‌Siri‌ simply by looking at its on-screen bubble rather than requiring a button press, and adds a redesigned Control Center along with new curved windows. tvOS 27 brings a redesigned Podcasts app, Hi-Res Lossless audio support in Apple Music, and on-device processing for HomeKit Secure Video.Ready to tackle bigger problems? After eight years and more than 3 million downloads, Chelsea Shaffer is handing The Score's reins to the Team Roping Journal's newest hire, Calli Montague.Montague, known to most as “Frank's daughter,” grew up with a rope in her hand and engulfed in the world of team roping from the beginning. A South Texas native who now calls the Texas Panhandle home, Montague came up through West Texas A&M before landing in the American Quarter Horse Association communications department. She spent years waiting for her shot at Team Roping Journal, even after getting told she wasn't ready the first time she asked. She listened, got to work, and came back when another opportunity presented itself in the spring of 2025.On this episode, Shaffer and Montague sit down for a proper introduction before officially passing the torch. Montague opens up about growing up going to ProRodeos, having a front-row seat to the early 2000s team roping scene, and how she found her way from a communications job to covering jackpots and rodeos full time. She talks about the weekend jackpot crowd and what being a part of it means to her career, how special it is to tell the stories of the ones entering every weekend, and just how much she loves team roping—and talking. The TRJ ladies also dig into what the next chapter of The Score looks like, including Montague's plans to dig into the existing archives, shine a light on the weekend warriors and build the kind of relationships where guys call her first when something happens instead of the other way around.---This episode is brought to you by The Dead Horse Ranch. Greg answers questions from callers about who sits on the left side of God, why we would matter to God and he would require anything of us, whether it's wrong to be grateful when other people are suffering, principles for living in a world with AI, and how a Calvinist knows he's saved.   Topics: Who sits on the left side of God? (04:00) My atheist friend admits there must have been an Architect of the universe, but he can't believe that we would matter to him or that he would require anything from us, and he asks why anyone should go to Hell just because they don't want to submit to his will. (12:00) Is it wrong to be vocal about the things we're grateful for when other people are suffering? (32:00) Can you offer some principles to equip believers to be prepared to live in a world with AI—to avoid pitfalls and be successful in their Christian walk? (38:00) If people are all born totally depraved and unable to understand spiritual truths, then how does a Calvinist know he's saved?
