Pathfinder Church | August 10, 2025 | AJ MasticIn the USA, Christians often shy away from standing out. How could it be helpful to be seen as extreme or puritanical? Not to mention, those don't sound like much fun! And yet, is there more to be gained by being “strange” than we think? If you've been feeling stuck, tired, or spiritually flat, stay with me—I'll show you how to dig up the treasure buried in this chapter and unlock the power that's been waiting for you.
Pathfinder Church | August 3, 2025 | Dion GarrettWhen we invest in something, we expect it to pay dividends, and for many of us, that's true of how we see church. Are you feeling distant from God? Like you've gone too far or made too many mistakes? This powerful message based on the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) reminds us of the deep, unshakable love of our Heavenly Father. In this third message of the "Hidden Treasures" series, we unpack what Jesus was really teaching through this familiar story — not just about the rebellious son, but about the father who runs to meet him and the older brother who stayed behind. Discover how God's grace covers guilt, how restoration follows repentance, and how your identity is never based on your performance — but on being a beloved child of God.

Continuing in the series, Sam Stephens delves into two profound parables from Matthew 13: the Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Parable of the Pearl of Great Value. He illustrates how both parables underscore the immeasurable worth of the kingdom of heaven, a treasure so valuable that it is worth sacrificing everything else to possess. The sermon emphasizes the joyful and radical commitment required to follow Jesus, highlighting that letting go of other pursuits, whether found unexpectedly or sought diligently, is essential to fully embrace the ultimate treasure found in Him. Not all treasure glitters—and not everything that glitters is worth the search. This week, Pastor Leo challenges our understanding of what we treasure and why it matters. Rooted in Matthew 13:44, the message explores how the kingdom of heaven is like a hidden treasure—worth everything once it's truly seen. Pastor Leo walks us through three powerful steps in the treasure-hunting process: Identify: Recognizing what we call “treasure” and learning how to tell gold from fool's gold through the lens of the Holy Spirit. Prepare: Embracing the moments, seasons, and setbacks that God uses to form us and direct our pursuit—even when it feels like we're wandering. Obtain: Discovering that the true reward isn't the treasure we imagined, but the people, presence, and purpose we find in the process. Through personal stories, biblical wisdom, and moments of lighthearted joy, this message reminds us that sometimes the treasure we've been searching for has been sitting in plain sight all along. Listen now and discover the richness of living a life led by God's heart, where every step has value—and you are the treasure He's been pursuing.
Jesus often spoke in parables—simple stories with powerful spiritual truths hidden inside. In Week 1 of our summer series Hidden Treasures, we explore the Parable of the Sower from Matthew 13 and ask a crucial question: What kind of soil is your heart? Are you hardened by life? Distracted by worry? Rootless in your faith? Or ready for real spiritual growth?

Have you had an encounter with God that you would describe like finding a hidden treasure? Like finding a treasure that brought you so much joy that you gladly left everything else to possess it? Many of us, if we were honest, might choose a different image - something more like a never-ending to-do list or being tied to a ball-and-chain. Today, Pastor J.D. is going to steer us in another direction so that we more clearly understand who Jesus is and what he is offering to us.
Jesus once told a story about two men - both of them come across something of such value that it makes everything else in their lives look worthless by comparison. Today, Pastor J.D. looks at the differences between these two men as he continues our series on Jesus' parables titled, "Listen."

Have you ever felt lost in the middle of your own life? In "The Hidden Treasure," Pastor Levi Lusko reveals how God uses our most disorienting seasons to help us discover priceless treasures we'd otherwise miss. Through the parable of hidden treasure in Matthew 13:44, learn how spiraling doesn't mean you're falling apart—it means you're being positioned to find what matters most. Whether facing a midlife crisis, quarter-life confusion, or any season of transition, discover the joy Jesus has for you in dusty places.
Today, Pastor Jack teaches that an oyster hides a great treasure that does not appear on the surface. It starts as an impure irritant, but over time, it becomes a pearl of great value. As true believers in Christ, we are those pearls in the making. The post Parable Of The Hidden Treasures – C first appeared on Pastor Jack Hibbs.
