When it became evident that the things (money, power, job) that she thought would make her happy didn't. She could no longer ignore the voice in her heart asking, “Isn't there something more meaningful you could be doing with your life than making supermodels richer?” Happily, there was. Her mission and dharma are teaching women how to attract and sustain healthy, vibrant, Real Love into their lives and how to establish and maintain effective boundaries with ease and grace. Like many of us, Katherine first entered the entrepreneurial space as a follower of the traditional “digital marketing guru”. But there was a big problem – the methods they taught were NOT made for introverts. That led Katherine to burnout… she wound up walking away from her business for three years until it hit her: to be successful, she had to do it on her own terms. Listen now! Not a trick question… have you even thought about what success looks like, for YOU specifically? Today I'm issuing you an Official Challenge™ to define it for yourself, societal expectations be damned. Stop giving me your power: what most people get totally wrong when they hire a coach to help them out (hint: if you're looking for hand-holding and a step-by-step formula for success, here's why you're setting yourself up for disappointment) A surprising business lesson from “Big Brother”… Katherine shares what separated the thriving contestants from those who fell apart — do you know which one are you in your biz? Polished social media presence or real-deal messy human? Katherine and I weigh in on which is more effective for your life (and your business)This one is jam-packed full of advice. The emotional hangover of the past couple of challenging years is real. This uplifting episode is all about radical self-care, motherhood, parenting, postpartum depression, faith, emotional reset, we cover it all! Our dear friend Tanya Newbould's first foundation is her faith and she lives in the spirit. She's an actress, an outspoken PPD advocate and survivor and a Life Transformation Strategist who founded Spiritually Inspired Coaching (www.tanya newbould.com). She helps women recover from the trauma and exhaustion of the past two challenging years and she travels across the country speaking out because she knows that by sharing her PPD survivor story and educating moms, she's saving lives. Tanya shares, “We all come here to learn and grow; that is God's purpose for us. When something bad happens to us we automatically think,”Oh my God, I'm such a mess,' but your mess is your message." Tanya found herself hysterically sobbing on the kitchen floor four months after the birth of her beautiful daughter which led to her to co-producing the award-winning documentary “When the Bough Breaks “ about the realities of PPD executive produced and narrated by actress Brooke Shields (Amazon Prime, iTunes). Tanya discusses the myths of PPD and how you can help support someone through their motherhood journey. "One in five women will experience postpartum depression after giving birth, which also affects the husband and the baby.” Tanya explains. “You will be okay. Your child will be okay. I want people to know that there's always help out there, and like the Bible says, this too will pass.” Tanya is a safe place to share your story and seek support. One of Tanya's favorite life verses is Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Tanya adds, “I want people to know that if they're feeling lost or afraid to turn to the Lord. God is with you.” Reach out to her if you are a new mother or if the pandemic has left you needing an emotional reset and you need help overcoming overwhelm or developing self-compassion. Tanya's ability to share knowledge and to let others know “you are truly not alone” is her passion. Tanya beams, “My goal is to help empower others to thrive, not just survive.”

Catherine is here today with Terri Cole. Terri Cole is a New York-based, licensed psychotherapist, relationship expert and founder of Real Love Revolution and Boundary Bootcamp, her two female empowerment courses reaching women in over 25 countries. Before earning a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychotherapy from New York University and adopting a daily meditation/green juice/exercise lifestyle, Terri worked as a talent agent negotiating contracts for actors and supermodels. A typical Type A overachiever with no balance or internal peace. Her ambition and fearless attitude fanned the “must get to the top” flames as she zipped across the country from Los Angeles to New York City fuelled by caffeine, nicotine, and adrenalin. For two decades, Terri has worked with some of the world's most well-known personalities from international pop stars, athletes, Broadway performers and TV personalities to thought-leaders and Fortune 500 CEOs. She empowers over one hundred thousand women weekly through her published articles and blog posts, therapeutic meditations, online courses, and her popular Hello Freedom podcast. Terri's strategies combine practical psychology, eastern mindfulness practices plus harnessing the power of intention to create sustainable positive behavioural change and true transformation. Do your emotions easily overwhelm you — maybe even for days — and sometimes you even feel others’ emotions as if they’re your own?Are you often drained energetically, with your strong feelings a seeming deterrent to living your life freely, fully, and joyfully?Empaths feel deeply and strongly — and you know if you’re one of these highly sensitive souls …Yet, experiencing life as a constant struggle needn’t be your fate… In fact, you can even learn to transmute your overpowering and uncomfortable feelings into potent energies to be used for “good.”So, if you have been wondering how to deal with being an empath (or maybe you've never even heard of the term, but the questions we ask sound a lot like you!?!) then today's podcast and interview with Tree Franklyn may be just what the empathic doctor may have ordered!?!Today Tree is going to introduce you to the 4 stages of spiritual awakening for empaths. And yes there are different stages of spiritual awakening as an empath that Tree touches lightly upon in our interview today.Tree also shares her story as a teenager in despair and her diagnosis of depression and bipolar issues. She was not willing to accept this and prescription drugs to help her along because she had a deeper knowing and understanding that her way of being was being denied, repressed and suppressed to "fit into" this world. So her journey into her own spiritual awakening as an empath began, which led her to the research of Dr. Elaine N. Aron and her National Bestselling Book: The Highly Sensitive Person: How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You.Though this was her introduction to the world of the existence of highly sensitive persons (HSPs) she knew there was more to it than just the science and research that Dr. Aron shed light on.This podcast was created to share Tree and her upcoming Shift Network Event and mini empath workshop: Finding Freedom as an Empath with Tree FranklynThe LIVE empath workshop and empath training is Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at 10 am Pacific time. You can register here for that: https://www.themindbodyspiritnetwork.com/finding-freedom-empath-tree-franklyn/If you can't make the LIVE empath workshop and empath training you can still register here.About Empath CoachTree FranklynTree Franklyn is a co-author of the #1 bestselling Amazon book, 365 Ways to Connect with Your Soul, and founder of FindYourInnerHappy.com.With her whimsical muse, Stick Girl, she helps Highly Sensitive introverted women manage their overwhelming emotions so they can use their sensitive traits to stop hiding and start creating the life they want. She’s been featured in HuffPost, Elephant Journal, Mike Dooley’s TUT, Positive Thinking magazine, Inspired Coach magazine, MindBodyGreen, Entrepreneur on Fire. You can connect with Tree and all of her Shift Network events, online course offerings and empath coaching services here:https://www.themindbodyspiritnetwork.com/interview-tree-franklynSupport the show (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=Z7GC46DF4BQ7G)
