One of my guilty pleasures is watching The Office with Michael Scott. In almost every episode, there's a meeting in the conference room, and Michael Scott is training them on something. There are jokes. It goes off the rails. I'm not sure anybody learns anything, so that's the wrong way to do it. My next guest is going to explain the right way to do it. Don Kersting is in the studio. He's the founder and principal of Kersting Creative.

Kersting also previews next Monday's podcast about the disastrous release of the E.T. the Extraterrestrial video game, highlighting the importance of product quality and customer satisfaction. A recent study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that almost one in nine children is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (commonly referred to as ADHD). Shockingly, nearly one-third of these children have not received any treatment, and the shortage of Adderall, a drug used to treat ADHD, is exacerbating the situation. Thomas Kersting, a psychotherapist and the author of "Raising Healthy Teenagers," recently joined host Dave Anthony on the FOX News Rundown to discuss ADHD, how it is diagnosed, and how it can be treated. Kersting, like many experts, agrees that cell phones have exacerbated the problem over the last few years. However, he also raises questions about how often and easily the disorder is diagnosed.

The mental health epidemic began in 2012 and our children are suffering. Thomas Kersting joins us to talk about the components that are necessary for a healthy childhood. He offers encouraging and straightforward advice about what we need to take away and what we need to add back in so that our children can thrive. Kersting looks back on his simple childhood and describes it as "phenomenal." How will our kids describe their childhoods? Play is down 75%. Many of our kids are not living in the real world, they're living in a virtual one. How will our kids survive, problem solve, and thrive in the real world if they've not spent much time there? There are so many ways we can help our children and the answers may be simpler than you think! Although Brian and Heather's home-build is showing apparent progress, they are feeling loads of stress from the mistakes that keep surfacing on the project. The problems on site are not only becoming costly, but dangerous for the family now. The home is a living organism and for it to function properly, there is a lot more than just following plans, to have a successful project. Toner and Curtis discuss building performance and the consequences of short-cuts which are commonly done because builders and home-owners are making cost-cutting decisions without discussing the implications of those choices on functionality of the home. Will this project fail? Tune in to find out! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/curtis-lawson0/message
