I've never seen someone in my life and I've always had this perception that you need to be unwell to see someone. I used to think therapists were scary but sitting down with therapist Solomon Petrovski has opened up my world to how much talking helps. Something is wrong with all of us, everyone needs help and it's ok not to feel ok. I realised I have so many problems, I didn't know I had so many problems and I don't know where they stem from or what triggers them. I open up about my mental health and struggle with social anxiety. We talk about relationships, the most important relationship, the one relationship with yourself, feelings, and why it's so hard to talk about your feelings. Guys, it's cool to get help! At the end of each episode, I answer your questions. Have a question? Leave a message at 1800 Sleep Deprived. Watch the full episode and the chaotic mess on YouTube here. Benjamin Kintisch is the creator of Life Review: The Hospice Musical. Ben completed graduate studies at Jewish Theological Seminary with a Masters in Sacred Music along with a Cantoral degree. Life Review was inspired by Ben's work as a chaplain at a residential hospice in New Jersey. This one of a kind musical celebrates life, love and loss during three seasons at the hospice. The musical story follows young Rabbi David, the new chaplain at the facility and shows how he learns from his patients even as he cares for them and their loved ones. In the musical, each patient sings their story. For example, we hear from a proud mother remembering snow, a brave but scared young man wondering what's to come and a man of God singing praises--among many others. Currently, the Life Review creative team has begun developing several additional versions of the project for virtual presentations including a 45 minute cabaret version of the musical, featuring songs and narration. The crew hopes to get back on the road when Covid restrictions end. Derrick is a third degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller. We talk about the trials and tribulations of opening his academy, Dark Clan Fight Lab, and its recent closure. This opens a conversation about the ways in which our path in life sets up our expectations and response to challenges as adults. We also spend some time on the topic of talk therapy and how it can be stigmatized in our culture, especially for men. It was so much fun to sit down and have a deep conversation through a variety of topics with a long time friend and incredibly talented and interesting individual.

PAST, REViSE LIFE? That is what our guest from the U.K., Lorraine Flaherty says we can do by utilizing Past Life Regression techniques. Her book, "Healing with Past Life Therapy: Transformational Journeys Through Time and Space" challenges you to think way outside the box. A "box" we grew up with and accepted as reality, until now. Isn't it time we see the world as it is and not as we have been taught? If you are ready to take a huge leap into the life you have always felt you were here to live but felt unseen forces holding you back, then this book is for you! This is a book for those willing to dare to embrace the dreams long buried and tucked away; this is not just theoretical musings but actual stories of life changing events that her clients experienced, told in a very friendly and empowering manner. As a kicker, Lorraine uses the "Wizard of OZ" film/story as an underlying thread beginning each chapter and shares quotes liberally. "You know Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore." - Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ. Why not live the life you were meant to live?
Show Topic: A new book which delves deeply into the subject of past life regression and offers an easy to understand explanation of how it works. Real transcripts illustrate the transformations that occur and the story of the Wizard of Oz is used as a metaphor for the souls journey throughout.
