Today I am honored to introduce to you: Survivor, devoted husband, actor, podcast host of ‘The World's Mayor Experience' on YouTube, 2-time international best-selling author of the book “The Devil Inside Me”, entrepreneur and business owner, film and TV producer, talk show host, and HIV and mental health advocate, Joshua T Berglan! It's been a long time coming having Josh on the show - I met him around the time when I began my podcast and was so impressed with all he was doing. We became quick friends and he was immediately an avid advocate for ‘The Imagination' and has been instrumental in helping me get this podcast off the ground. Almost 2 years ago, ‘The Imagination' was terminated off YouTube and Josh was the first person to extend an open arm to helping me get my content out on another platform. On top of helping me with the podcast, he also has quite the story, background and accolades that I am really thrilled to get to share with all of you today. Josh's story takes us through a maze of abuse, sex and drug addiction, jail, bankruptcy, divorce, homlessness, losing his children, and almost losing his life… It is the ultimate story of redemption, true love and in taking the pain he suffered for so long and turning it into an important purpose that now serves as being a voice for the voiceless. Josh's memoir, “The Devil Inside Me” is a phenomenal first-hand account of overcoming what was meant to destroy him and his podcast, “The World's Mayor Experience” - that I encourage all of you to go subscribe to which features a plethora of amazing guests and topics focused around bringing awareness to HIV, mental health, healing, and so much more. He's founded multiple businesses and has an innate passion for helping impart media literacy to the youth, and lends his voice and resources to support individuals and survivors battling mental illnesses, HIV, challenges related to sexual identity, trauma from abuse, and the many systemic injustices that plague our society. Josh's story is a testament to what happens when we decide to slay the devil inside of us and what is possible on the other side of pain and trauma. His beautiful wife, Jessica Linn is a hero in his story and also serves as a reminder of the power of love. I'm so excited for you all to meet Josh today and hope you go in the show notes and follow him on all social media platforms!CONNECT WITH JOSH: Twitter: The World's Mayor Experience (@MayorsMedia) / X (twitter.com)Purchase 'The Devil Inside Me': The Devil Inside Me by Berglan, Joshua T. AABP Executive Director Dr. Fred Gingrich is joined by Dr. Matthew May, Director of Production Services at Feedlot Health Management Services by Telus Agriculture. This episode of AABP's Have You Herd? podcast is sponsored by Lactipro. Lactipro is a rumen-native probiotic consisting of a live, stable and naturally occurring strain of Mega e. Lactipro places a large number of Mega e into the rumen, where it immediately begins targeting lactic acid and producing butyric acid. Lactipro helps cattle producers support healthy rumen pH, while safely accelerating to finishing diets and reducing post-terminal processing mortality. May begins by discussing some of the changes in the rumen microbial population from fiber digesters to starch digesters and how starter rations can influence the rumen. The history of the calf is important, but unfortunately that can often be missing with some arrival cattle. If the diet the cattle were on is available, it can be much easier to transition those cattle to full feed versus cattle that have an unknown history. Access and availability of water is very important for calf health and growth. May suggests that 1 linear inch of water trough space per head is standard, but could be increased to 2-3 inches in receiving pens. Ensuring regular cleaning, often daily, of water troughs in receiving pens is also important. May also discusses the importance of working with veterinarians on feed additives such as ionophores or antimicrobials to optimize health of the calf and rumen. Nutrition consulting is also not just about the ration ingredients but ensuring feed quality, consistency, delivery and consumption. Finally, we discuss the importance of knowing the goals for the cattle to help to optimize the timing of moving the calf from the starter ration to full feed. Although growth is important, ensuring that cattle transition to the feeding phase successfully even if growth is decreased initially will have a minimal impact on the productivity of the calf if it remains healthy.  Find out more information about Feedlot Health Management Services by Telus Agriculture on their website.  To learn more about Lactipro, visit https://msbiotec.com.

In this episode of the Thoughtful Entrepreneur, your host Josh Elledge talks to the CEO of https://www.videosupply.com/ (Video Supply), Dallin Nead. Video Supply is an on-demand video production services marketplace. Users can sign up on their website for free and shop for the specific video production services they need, whether it's a one-time request or a regular custom project. Video Supply helps brands all around the world create professional, high-level content to effectively promote any product or purpose.  Dalin shares that the first thing you need when trying to create video content is a plan. Without a plan, you're setting yourself up to fail when it comes to getting eyes on your content. Dallin also explains that there needs to be true intention and purpose behind your video content, especially if you want any of it to go viral. You need to be able to use video to tell your audience your message, no matter where they are in the customer journey. Video Supply plans, produces and promotes video content for their clients.  Video Supply offers a paid video strategy consultation where they meet with their clients and their teams to guide them on how to get the biggest ROI for their video content creation. Video Supply can also write video scripts, and produce videos using their trained professional videographers. Dallin shares that your content should reflect what your brand is trying to do, whether that's creating a video marketing campaign or training videos for your team. No matter what type of video you need to generate for your business, Video Supply offers hands-on, high-level services that can meet those needs.  It's all about meeting people where they are, Dallin explains. Pricing is very transparent on their website so you're never wondering how much you'll need to spend on video work. Their marketplace offers a unique customer experience that makes shopping for video content services easier and more seamless than ever.  Systematizing your video content is extremely important. You need to use the power of SEO and consistency in order to maximize the ROI of your videos. Driving traffic especially from YouTube to your website is vital if you want the most bang for your buck. You also need to leverage your content by getting it in front of the right people. Josh and Dallin agree that you have to consider what matters more to you – views aren't worth much if they don't include your target audience. Remember, views are ultimately a vanity metric, and who is seeing your video matters more than how many people saw it.  Want to learn more?
