Ever heard the quote, "jack of all trades, master of none?" Did you know there was more at the end of the saying? It actually goes, "Jack of all trades, master of none, better than being a master of one." The saying can be used for many different points of context, but in this case, Schyler Bardole is on his way to being a jack of all trades and a master of many. He farms with his family on their heritage farm (150 years in the same family), as well as with his wife's century farm, raises Scottish Highland cattle, pigs, bees, not to mention his 2 boys with a third kid on the way. He always is a follower of current world events, and in this episode shares what he has learned about the world and its people, and the direction we are going. His insights are fascinating, sure enough so it is not farfetched in the future you'll see him with a podcast of his own. We could have several hours long, but enjoy this episode with a great guest.
On this episode of the Bantee Podcast, co-hosts Billy Annesley and Andrew Winter are joined by golf influencer Schyler Horne for his first podcast interview ever (3:44-34:31). What a gift to welcome my friend Schyler back to the podcast, this time to talk about patience! Schyler is the incredible mom to three kids earthside and a baby in heaven, and her patience inspires me truly every single day. I've seen it bear fruit throughout her life – from when I knew her as a single woman, into marriage and now motherhood! We talk all about patience and take a nice tangent into social media, which Schyler exited this year. I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it!!

Schyler Martin and Michael Heubel collaborated to make the short film, "Lucky," the short film I've hoped for years that someone would make. Why was I longing for a film like"Lucky"? It is a film where comedy meets arthouse, abstract expressionism meets narrative structure, and it's just generally f***ing great. Schyler & Michael brought "Lucky" to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2021 and took home the Audience Award for Short Film – Arthouse/Experimental. It was an absolute pleasure to interview them and it's an even greater pleasure to mention that you can watch "Lucky" right now on TVHi, the streaming service dedicated to excellent indie films that might be even better to watch a little high. Playing 21 Questions with All Pro Pastors The purpose of All-Pro Pastors International is to foster relationships among pastors of all denominations, cultures, and races. Being a pastor can be the loneliest job in the world, which is why pastors are dropping out of the ministry more often than not. Indeed, many of the reasons why so many Christian projects fail is the lack of deep relationships needed to support them. But All-Pro Pastors have found a solution. Enter the "Champions Table". Where pastors of different backgrounds meet together and support each other just as people, not as pastors. This fellowship will not only heal the wounded heart of our pastors but also grow a healthy church. Until pastors begin to love each other, the world will always struggle to believe that Jesus loves them too. This will be a faith-focused day of heritage, history, praise, worship, and prayer dedicated to the American renewal of the covenant the Pilgrims made with God four centuries ago. The event will be broadcast on major television networksand simulcasted to churches. PLANT CITY, FLORIDA – Throughout history, only two nations have been tied together by covenants with God. “God made a covenant with Israel, but America made a covenant with God,” says Rev. Kevin Jessip, founder and president of the Global Strategic Alliance and co-founder of The Return. “America has broken the covenant made by our forefathers. As we know, from the Bible, God takes covenants very seriously. This has brought our once blessed nation under the judgments of God. “The Renewal is uniting leaders who believe America is in a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation. Therefore, it must be won in the spiritual realm led by God according to His Word. We must pray, then take a step of bold faith to re-establish America's covenant with God and plead for His mercy as we seek to restore our foundational values based on God's Word, the everlasting covenant, the Bible.” Supernatural Junk: To Keep up with Supernatural Junkies please subscribe to our newsletter on our website: http://supernaturaljunkies.com/podcast/ You can sign up for a newsletter there and even listen to our podcasts from the main page! In the wake of the recent news on Ravi Zacharias; Kris, Coley, Schyler and Kyle discuss how to process "hereos" or "leaders" falling into deeply grievous sin. How to we as followers of Christ handle the news of people we look up to in the faith being exposed for hidden sin? How does God's word speak directly into this sad reality? In the midst of the hurt, where is hope found? We hope you find it helpful, enjoy!
Kris, Schyler, and Coley are joined by Dr. Beau Hughes, pastor at the Village Church Denton, to talk about the holy trinity. All throughout scripture, God reveals himself as one in essence yet three in persons, which has brought about much beauty and mystery for the Christian. What are the primary roles of the Trinity? Why is the Trinity so significant to knowing God? What are the potential dangers of not believing in the Trinity? All this and so much more, we hope you enjoy!
Kris, Schyler, and Kyle are joined by Brad Welker, Pastor at the Village Church Denton, to discuss how understanding literary genres is helpful to reading and understanding the word of God in its proper context. There is large opportunity to misunderstand a rap song if you tried to read it as country lyrics, similar could be said about reading the book of Romans the same way we read the Psalms. Brad along with the staff help us to navigate that truth. We hope you enjoy!
Kris, Mike, Coley and Schyler have a much needed discussion about what it means to embrace failure. Society defines failure in a myriad of different ways which produce a wide variety of responses when it comes to failure. How does the bible define failure? How does failure produce good or how can we embrace it well in its proper context? We hope this is helpful, enjoy!
Kris, Coley, Schyler and Kyle help give biblical context for what it means to be a part of the local church. Many christians today, especially young christians, are frankly not a part of the local church beyond gathering on Sunday. Even then, most are not convinced of its importance, value, and function mapped out by the word of God. In this podcast you'll learn how to choose a healthy local church, why it is so vital, the benefits of having one vs. the dangers of not, and much more. Enjoy, share, like, subscribe!

Kris, Coley, Mike and Schyler have a much-needed discussion about the cultures perception of New Year's resolutions. What are we really looking for in New Year's resolutions? What does it look like to know Jesus and make Him known in a context so different from one that is culturally Christian? What would compel someone to move to an unreached nation to make disciples there? How can I use my years in college to prepare myself for lifelong disciple-making no matter where I land post-grad? Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share this podcast. We hope you enjoy!
