My name is Shiro Bergbauer, DNP, CRNA. Becoming a mom was a huge shift and transition from me. I needed to find information on transitioning to becoming a working mom that was relevant to my career and I found that most information was targeting corporate moms who work traditional 9-5 hours. As I surveyed moms in medical careers, I realized the paucity of content addressing our needs. We take care of other people at We take care of other people at work and at home. We aren’t always equipped for the transition from clinician to working mom, and this isn’t how it should be.
