Chad and Alex are back for another Breakin' It Down, and this one's got range. Alex just got back from Cancun for a destination wedding, an all-inclusive, way too much drinking, and a hydrotherapy routine that may or may not have been medically necessary. Chad's got the sauna fired up at home, and they swap recovery war stories. They dive into Moms on the run, almost three decades, $10 million back into Northern Nevada, one salaried employee, and a Sunday stroll on Mother's Day through the Damonte Ranch wetlands. Chad and Alex are fired up about it and it's a cause worth hearing about! Somewhere in the middle, they get into Reno. From the homeless problem, the city permits, the politics, to GNR, Alice in Chains, The Band, Van Halen, Motley Crue, and a band name quiz. It's one of those episodes where you look up and an hour has gone by. We hope you enjoy! This episode is presented by Bedslide, Leer toppers, Oakley Sunglasses, GATR coolers, TKO Vitality, ZLine Appliances, Jack Link's Protien snacks, Napa Valley Olive Oil, and The Provider Culinary

AI is not the problem. The foundation is. That's exactly what we unpacked in this conversation with Bruno BILLY and Rahul Bakhshi at APGAR On Air. Here's what stood out for me. Most organizations are pushing hard on AI. But the data underneath is still fragmented, inconsistent, and not ready for scaleAnd that's where things breakIn this conversation, we go deep on- What a real data foundation actually looks like- Why most AI initiatives fail before they even start- Where things break at scale across governance, ownership, and trust- What teams can realistically do in the next 90 daysIf you are building AI that needs to run in production, this is worth your timeWatch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/g-VSBqat#data #ai #apgar #theravitshow

Chad and Alex are back with another Breakin' It Down episode, recapping a spring training trip that didn't leave much time for slowing down. From bouncing between games all day to long nights in Scottsdale, they get into what that pace actually looks like. From the spots they hit, what's worth it, what's not, and why people keep going back for more. They talk nightlife, baseball, getting older, and still trying to keep up, and stories that only happen when you pack too much into a few days. It also turns into a real conversation about energy, work, and what it takes to live a life like this, and whether it's something most people would even want. Just a couple of guys breakin' it all down! This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee sour mash whiskey, and brought to you by Corning Ford, Mickey Thompson Tires and Wheels, GATR Coolers, BEDSLIDE, Oakley Sunglasses, Napa Valley Olive Oil, and Banded Casual Wear.

Our card this week is Janet Couture, the Jack of Diamonds from Connecticut. In 1973, Janet Couture was murdered in her home, and for more than five decades the case remained unsolved. Despite years of investigation, the breakthrough came only in 2025, when a longtime suspect with a violent history was finally arrested. Chad and Alex are back for another Breakin' It Down, and this one covers some ground. It starts with a conversation about appearance. How people carry themselves, what effort means, and whether it even matters once you're in a long-term relationship. From there, they get into confidence, attraction, and what actually keeps two people together over time. Then it takes a turn. Politics, trust in leadership, frustration with the system, and the feeling a lot of people have right now, trying to sort through what's real, what's not, and where things are headed. It's a reminder that not everyone behind a microphone has all the answers, and maybe that's the point in this whole thing. That's Breakin' It Down. This episode is proudly presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Sour mash whiskey and brought to you by Mickey Thompson Tires and Wheels, LEER toppers, GATR coolers, TKO Vitality, Oakley Sunglasses, The Provider Culinary, Zline appliances, and Napa Valley olive oil
Chad and Alex are back, Breakin' It Down, and this one goes from seasons and weather to spring training, Scottsdale traditions, baseball trips, bars, steakhouses, and whether this really is the best time of year. They get into Tahoe, hunting season versus spring, the Waste Management Open, spring training plans, nightlife, travel habits, and what a perfect trip actually looks like once you're not 25 anymore. There's some Giants talk, a little Mexico talk, and plenty of the usual back and forth about drinking, getting older, and how much energy you really want to spend going hard every night. It's one of those episodes that feels like the conversation you have before the trip starts. With a little planning, a little reminiscing, and a lot of opinion. This episode is brought to you by LEER toppers, Gator Coolers, TKO Vitality, Cowboy's Choice Horse Feeds, and Resistol Hats, Demerbox, Oakley Sunglasses, ZLINE appliances, and Jack Link's protein snacks

It's Monday, March 9th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Russian forces destroyed 450 Ukrainian Baptist churches According to a report published earlier this year by Mission Eurasia, a parachurch ministry dedicated to equipping churches in and around Ukraine, Russian forces have damaged or destroyed at least 737 religious buildings since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Of the 737 buildings affected, about 450 were Baptist churches. Baptists, while the largest Evangelical population in Ukraine, represent only 1 percent to 2 percent of the overall population, revealing that Russian forces are deliberately targeting Baptists in their violent campaign across Ukraine. In 1 John 3:13, Jesus said, âDo not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.â Hegseth says US has âiron-clad will' in Iran war War Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters on Thursday the United States will continue its attacks on Iran for as long as necessary, saying âWe are in it to win it!â, reports NewsNation. Listen. HEGSETH: âIran is hoping that we cannot sustain this, which is a really bad miscalculation. There's no shortage of American will here. âWe remember and honor our fallen those six that we will soon Welcome at Dover, who gave everything for their country in this mission. We remember them, but we remember them by rededicating ourselves even more fervently to this mission. âOur commitment to our mission objectives only increases as our advantages continue to increase. We've got no shortage of munitions. Our stockpiles of defensive and offensive weapons allow us to sustain this campaign as long as we need to.â Secretary Hegseth contrasted the focused mission in Iran with other previously politically correct wars. HEGSETH: âThe dumb, politically correct wars of the past were the opposite of what we're doing here. They had vague objectives with restrictive, minimalist rules of engagement. No more. Our authorities, through the President and myself, are maxed out. Our will is iron clad. We are built for this fight, and we are in it to win it.â Rep. Donalds holds Governor Walz accountable for Somali fraud On March 4th, Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida asked Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz some tough questions about allegations of fraud tied to the Somali community in Minnesota during a House Oversight Committee hearing, reports ZeroHedge.com. DONALDS: âWas your office notified of these fraud allegations?â WALZ: âNot me.â DONALDS: âSpecifically, we have it under sworn testimony in the Oversight Committee that your former chief of staff was notified directly by these various commissioners about the fraud in Minnesota.â WALZ: âCould be correct.â DONALDS: âSo, are you saying that your chief of staff didn't notify you?â WALZ: âI'm saying I don't recall whether he did at that time or not, but we took action. So, I'm assuming, when we put our budgets together, based on that, we put a package together for that legislative session.â DONALDS: âLet's talk about budgets, Governor Walz. Feeding Our Future went from $307,000 in 2018 to $199 million in 2021. Are you aware of this increase in budgetary costs from Feeding Our Future?â WALZ: âNot specifically, but I know it increased during the pandemic.â DONALDS: âThe Housing Stabilization Services went from $27 million in 2021 to $105 million in 2024. Are you aware of this increase, Governor Walz?â WALZ: âNot specifically, but I know it increased.â DONALDS: âAutism Centers went from $24 million in 2019 to $342 million in 2024. Are you aware of that?â WALZ: âNot specifically again. But yes, we know the budget increased.â DONALDS: âIntegrated Community Supports went from $4.6 million in 2021 to $170 million in 2024. Are you aware of that?â WALZ: âAgain, not specifically on the numbers, but it's the budget.â DONALDS: âGovernor Walz, you have to submit a budget to your legislature every single year, like every governor has to do. If you're not aware of these increases, what was your office doing?â WALZ: âEveryone is balanced. My budget is about $72 billion. It involves 23 agencies.â DONALDS: âFlorida's budget is $115 billion, sir. But what were you doing if you're seeing program increases like this amid allegations of fraud in your state?â Shockingly, $9 billion of taxpayer money was stolen in Minnesota which had been intended for marginalized communities. Planned Parenthood offers Botox injections to supplement abortion income There's a new wrinkle in Planned Parenthood's ever-changing post-Dobbs business plan: The abortion giant has begun offering Botox treatments as a much-needed additional source of income, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Planned Parenthood is in desperate need of new revenue streams after President Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill blocked it from receiving federal Medicaid reimbursements.   As a result, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte â the group's largest affiliate spanning Northern California and Nevada â has been forced to scramble to plug an estimated $100 million revenue gap, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.  What is unsaid in the Wall Street Journal puff piece is that Planned Parenthood in Northern California and Nevada needs to generate money in new ways in order to subsidize aborting preborn children. Missouri's Personhood bill protects babies from conception Speaking of abortion, Missouri Republican State Senator Mike Moon introduced a resolution which would recognize the personhood of each child in the womb. The bill defines the term "person," under the Missouri state constitution, as including every human being with a unique DNA code regardless of age, including every in utero human child at every stage of biological development from the moment of conception until birth. Whether you live in Missouri or not, call State Senator Moon's office at 573-751-1480 to thank him for sponsoring the Personhood resolution. Legendary pop star Neil Sedaka died And finally, Neil Sedaka, the Juilliard-trained pop music icon who sold millions of records worldwide and wrote or co-wrote over 1,000 songs, died on February 27th at the age of 86. According to Parade, Neil Sedaka's most popular songs include chart-toppers like  "Oh! Carol," a 1959 song about his high school sweetheart, Carole King, who is 84 today. âDarling, there will never be another. Cause I love you so. Don't ever leave me. Say you'll never go. I will love you, for my sweetheart No matter what you do. Oh Carol, so in love with you.â âBreakin' Up is Hard to Doâ âComma-comma down, Dooby-doo, down-down Breakin' up is hard to do. Don't take your love away from me. Don't you leave my heart in misery. If you go, then I'll be blue Cause breakin' up is hard to do.â and "Laughter in the Rain." âStrolling along country roads with my baby It starts to rain, it begins to pour. Without an umbrella, we're soaked to the skin. I feel a shiver run up my spine. I feel the warmth of her hand in mine. âOoh, I hear laughter in the rain, Walking hand in hand with the one I love. Ooh, how I love the rainy days And the happy way I feel insideâ In the days following Sedaka's death, streams of his songs jumped by at least 500 percent. For example, there were 514,000 streams of âLaughter in the Rain.â In his 1982 autobiography, Laughter in the Rain, Sedaka remembered himself as âa Jewish mama's boyâ â a resounding understatement that did not reflect how completely Eleanor dominated his life until his mid-20s, reports The Guardian. During his first wave of success, between 1958 and 1963, he handed over five-figure royalty checks, which she cashed and kept, allowing him a $1,000 monthly stipend. Later, when Sedaka discovered that his mother, who had appointed herself his manager, had spent most of his money, he fired her and she attempted suicide. Neil married his wife, Leba, in 1962 with whom he had a son and daughter. The fact that their marriage lasted six decades is rare in the entertainment industry. Matthew 19:6 says, âTherefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.â During the pandemic, Sedaka played 150 mini-concerts on his Facebook page from his home. A struggling young jazz dancer meets up with two break-dancers to become the sensation of the street crowds. Meanwhile, a developer tries to bulldoze Miracles, a community recreation center, and the breakdancers try to stop it.
When evil terrorists have hijacked a passenger plane flying through Europe filled with mostly Americans and they're headed towards Beirut...who are you gonna call? The Delta Force! Yup smack in the middle of a now legendary run of B-Grade genre films (Missing In Action, Breakin', Cobra), Cannon Films decided to make a statement with this star-studded political action thriller starring Chuck Norris (The Way of the Dragon, Code of Silence, Walker Texas Ranger) and the late, great Lee Marvin (Cat Ballou, The Dirty Dozen) who lead this titular elite squad of warriors to the rescue. Not only that but one half of the Israeli producing duo which ran Cannon - Menahem Golan (Over the Top, Enter the Ninja, The Apple) - actually decided to direct it himself. ;) When first released amidst a true glut of military-themed action films in '86, this was only a middling success but since then, it has garned a devoted cult following thanks to it likely overqualifed cast filled with former Oscar-winners (Marvin, Martin Balsam, George Kennedy, Shelly Winters) and an EXTREMELY catchy theme song created by Alan Silvestri! Well that and we get to see Norris' McCoy dispatch bad guys with missiles from his motorcycle....Host: Geoff GershonEdited By Ella GershonProducer: Marlene Gershon  Send us a textSupport the showhttps://livingforthecinema.com/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Living-for-the-Cinema-Podcast-101167838847578Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/livingforthecinema/Letterboxd:https://letterboxd.com/Living4Cinema/

This week we celebrate two years of 99 Cent Rental with one of the most enduring cult movies of the 80's. It's the breakdance epic from Cannon, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. When Cannon's million dollar dance movie pulled a huge profit in the summer of 1984, they rushed a sequel into production to capture the momentum and mere months later released Breakin' 2 with a bigger budget and a significantly smaller box office return. Breakdance fever was over but this outrageous, extremely colorful sequel stuck out in the cultural memory thanks to its ridiculous name and silly premise and we love it. Months after Special K, Ozone, and Turbo proved to the stuffy world of white people dance competitions that breakdance is dancing too, Kelly returns to Venice to catch up with her friends and finds out that everyone in Venice is now hanging out at a community center called Miracles where they all learn to dance, box, and do mime stuff. Wouldn't you know it, though? Here come some white people with designs on tearing down the community center so it's up to the TKO Crew to rally the community to raise the money they need to save Miracles. They'll overcome all obstacles with the power of breakdance. Chad and Alex sit down for a Breakin' It Down episode that goes a few layers deeper than usual. They start with the idea of living life now. Not waiting, not putting it off, and then unpack what that means. They get into religion, Christianity, prayer, and how faith fits into real life, especially around the holidays. Alex brings a slightly different perspective, which leads to a good, honest conversation. There's no pretending with these two. They also touch on Christmas bonuses, Christmas movies, and the way this season tends to bring everything into sharper focus. We know you'll love another thoughtful and hilarious episode with Chad and Alex! This episode is proudly presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey, and brought to you by LEER toppers, Bedslide, Oakley, and PECOS Outdoor!

Chad and Alex are back and breakin' it all down! From the lost art of kids actually working for their fundraisers to how our personal info is floating around online. Chad learned what âdripâ means (thanks to his daughter), and let's just say⌠the fashion feedback wasn't great. They get into cyclists, city chaos, and planning spring training trips, and somehow still find time to talk fights, bikes, and what's coming up this hunting season. It's the perfect blend of everything that makes Breakin' It Down what it is: raw, hilarious, and always a little unpredictable. This episode is brought to you by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Leer toppers, Oakley Sunglasses, and Pecos Outdoor!

This is a preview of a premium Design Better episode. Visit our Substack to hear the whole interview, for bonus content, and more: â https://designbetterpodcast.com/p/fitz-and-the-tantrums With the 150th official episode of Design Better, we've got something special for you. For many of us, if we haven't had creative success by our 40's, we feel like we may have missed the boat. But Michael âFitzâ Fitzpatrick of Fitz and the Tantrums didn't achieve pop star status until he was well into his 40's, and now that he's in his 50's he feels like he's just getting started. Haven't heard of Fitz and the Tantrums? Yes you have...their hit single "HandClap" has rocked stadiums at sporting events around the world. In our conversation, Fitz reveals how the band prototypes their live performances and why constraint has been essential to their creative evolution. He talks to us about the parallels of songwriting and product design, the importance of reading the roomâwhether it's 50 or 50,000 peopleâand why the best performances, like the best designs, create space for the audience to become co-creators. Fitz also opens up about how even after achieving his creative dreams, there was an emptiness that he struggled with, and where he found true happiness. Bio Michael âFitzâ Fitzpatrick (born Michael Sean Fitzpatrick on July 21, 1970) is a French-American musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the frontman and creative force behind the indie pop and neo-soul band Fitz and the Tantrums. Born in Montluçon, France and raised in Los Angeles, Fitzpatrick studied vocal music in high school and later attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he explored experimental film. Before forming his own band, he worked behind the scenes as a sound engineer, collaborating with producer Mickey Petralia. In 2008, Fitzpatrick bought a used church organ for fifty dollars and wrote âBreakin' the Chains of Loveâ that same night â the song that would inspire the creation of Fitz and the Tantrums. As lead vocalist and keyboardist, he helped the group rise quickly with their debut album Pickin' Up the Pieces (2010), which drew praise for its blend of Motown soul, indie pop, and modern energy. Subsequent albums such as More Than Just a Dream and their self-titled 2016 release, featuring the breakout hit âHandClap,â cemented the band's place in the modern pop landscape.
