Trending with Timmerie - Catholic Principals applied to today's experiences.
In this powerful episode of Trending with Timmerie, she sits down with Dr. Christina Francis, a pro-life OB-GYN and CEO of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Together, they uncover the heartbreaking reality of chemical abortions, a procedure that now accounts for nearly 70% of all abortions in the U.S. You can hear more of the conversation here, which may not be suitable for sensitive ears. Chemical abortion isn't as “simple” or “safe” as the abortion industry claims. Dr. Francis walks us through the harsh truth: women are often handed two sets of pills (mifepristone and misoprostol), with no doctor in sight and little understanding of the trauma and risks they're about to face. It's devastating.
Morning Light welcomes back Passionately Pro-Life advocate Emily Naugle to talk about October being Respect Life Month. What are some ways to observe this month? Pray - Advocate - Serve - Educate. Today, we're joined by Dr. Christina Francis, CEO of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, who is sharing the truth about the misinformation we're seeing in the media about abortions and miscarriages. She discusses what is really going on in hospitals where doctors claim they're confused about pro-life laws and what procedures they're allowed to perform. Are these pro-life laws really that confusing, or is there something more sinister going on? What really happened to Amber Thurman and Candi Miller, and is an abortion to "save the mother's life" ever really necessary? She shares why intent matters and how we can keep the conversation going in the midst of media lies. Abortion has been packaged and falsely marketed as a form of healthcare necessary for women's empowerment, while pro-life advocacy has been mislabeled as anti-woman. Dr. Christina Francis knows this reasoning is backwards, and she uses her voice to fight for the wellbeing of women and babies. Today, she does that as an OB-GYN and CEO of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG). Dr. Francis works hard to inform women about the realities of chemical abortion as well as the lifesaving option of abortion pill reversal. This week, she talks about her journey of becoming a passionate pro-life advocate, the harms of chemical abortion, the progress of her lawsuit against the FDA, and how Christians can be thoroughly pro-life. Hour 1 of The Drew Mariani Show on 7-25-22 Gary Zimak joins us to talk about the beauty of a faith like St. Mary Magdalene (who's feast day was last week) Dr. Christina Francis brings to light how medical professionals of faith deal with pregnancy complications
Dr. Christina Francis is the Chairman of the Board of the American Association of Pro-Life OB-GYNs. I spoke with her for a story, but her answers were so incredible that I just had to deliver this interview as a podcast episode as well. In this episode, Dr. Francis answers questions about her reaction to Roe v. Wade possibly being overturned, and speaks to some of the myths that have been circulating since the news came out. We speak about: ' Could ectopic pregnancies and miscarriage somehow be criminalized? How is medical treatment different than abortion? The dangers of the abortion pill and self-managed abortions at home (complications are 4x higher and she speaks to this.) The abortion pill reversal program (they've seen over 3,000 babies delivered to women who changed their minds after taking their first abortion pill) The truth behind 2nd & 3rd trimester abortions How often do fetal anomalies make it "necessary" to have an abortion? How does abortion harm women in ways beyond the actual procedure? This is not easy subject matter, but I hope it's clear from this conversation that those of us who are pro-life are genuine and compassionate about our care for both women and children. Dr. Francis does an incredible job clarifying some information that I think gets clouded in media circles. I hope you'll consider what she has to say! On today's edition of Family Talk, Dr. Christina Francis, chairwoman of the board of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, tells our own Dr. Tim Clinton that she is hopeful that Roe v. Wade can be overturned, depending on the result of the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court case, to be decided this June. AAPLOG submitted a legal brief in the Mississippi case, supporting the state's ban on abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The pro-life OB-GYNs warn that post-abortive women face a seven times greater likelihood of suicide. Dr. Francis declares, “Abortion is not healthcare, because pregnancy is not a disease. It is a natural process of the body!”

Did you know that before Roe v. Wade, the once reputable American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists opposed killing babies in the womb? Tragically, the group by and large became aggressively pro-abortion once the egregious law was passed in 1973. In the late 2000s, the organization declared that if a physician will not perform or refer an abortion, he or she is unethical, and should even lose his or her license. On today's edition of Family Talk, Dr. Christina Francis explains that the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists was formed to reaffirm the value and dignity of individual human life in all stages of growth and development. Their pro-life members, who are all doctors, assert that science is demonstrably on the side of life — from the moment of conception.

Pro-life advocates worry that an abortion-friendly political agenda has worked itself into the medical branch of obstetrics and gynecology. Now, POB-GYN medical professionals who are pro-life are taking a stand for women and babies as they seek to uphold the sanctity of all human life and push back on the narrative that abortion is health care."The fact that 85% of women's health care specialists don't perform abortion, to me tells you everything you need to know that abortion is not essential healthcare because if it was, you wouldn't have only 15% of OB-GYNs performing it," Dr. Christina Francis, chairwoman of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, says.Francis joins the “Problematic Women” podcast to discuss her group's mission and how the abortion agenda infiltrated the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
