Children's Come Follow Me PodcastA Podcast for Children who go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints This week we study:Worth … the Riches of the Whole Earth”June 23–29: “Worth … the Riches of the Whole Earth”Doctrine and Covenants 67–70The Lord gave the revelations in the doctrine and covenants to Joseph Smith to help set up the kingdom of God on the earth in the last days. The Doctrine and Covenants is different from the Book of Mormon and bible, because it is not a translation of ancient documents; the Lord gave the revelations in D&C to His chosen prophets in our modern days in order to restore His kingdom. We learn all sorts of important things in the doctrine and covenants, like this week we learn kids should be baptized at the age of 8, we should center our homes around Jesus Christ, and that true and faithful friends help us follow Jesus Christ. If you want to hear the voice of the Lord, read the doctrine and covenants! You're listening to Come Follow Me Kids! A Come Follow Me Podcast. We are an interactive game play podcast for kids. This is a Doctrine and Covenants Podcast for Kids! Our podcast is called Come Follow Me Kids. Come Follow Me for kids that are primary aged 2-12 in the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We follow the come follow me manual from the church but are not officially affiliated in any way. Some audio segments come from the friend magazine and other church sources. On this podcast we play interactive games while learning about the gospel and atonement of Jesus Christ. If your children would like to be guests on this podcast, please email us at comefollowmekidspodcast@gmail.com They can share their testimony about the restoration of the gospel, or share an experience they had with prayer, the Holy Ghost, or Missionary Work. Make sure they include their name and where they are from in the audio recording. And don't worry about your recording being perfect, we can edit out mistakes. Any sound file should work. If your children would like a baptism shout out, email us their name, and where they are from and we will add them to an upcoming episode. Use the same email listed above.

Explore the profound Messianic reflections in the life of Yosef Ben Yisrael through Torah Reading 34. Join Rod Thomas of the Messianic Torah Observer as he delves into Genesis 37:1-36, drawing parallels between Joseph/Yosef and Yahoshua Messiah. Discover the spiritual insights and prophetic shadows that enrich our understanding of faith and covenant.   Context of the Discussion The commentary begins with the date of publication, marking it as the 23rd day of the 3rd Month 6025 (June 20, 2025). The author notes that this installment reflects on the themes found in the specified Torah reading, which details the early life of Joseph and his relationship with his family. The author encourages readers to follow along using their own Bibles, although he will not read the entire passage verbatim.   Patriarchal Sojourners The document discusses the concept of the patriarchs, particularly Jacob (Ya'achov), settling in Canaan, the land promised to them by God. It references the Book of Hebrews, noting that the patriarchs lived as sojourners in the land of promise, looking forward to a greater inheritance. Jacob is highlighted as the third patriarch to settle in Canaan, a place of significance for his family.   The Story of Joseph The narrative transitions to Joseph, who is introduced as a favored son of Jacob. The author explains that Joseph's story becomes central to the continuation of God's covenant with the patriarchs, despite the rejection and hardships he faces from his brothers. Joseph is portrayed as a type of Jesus (Yahoshua Messiah), representing salvation and preservation for Israel.   Dysfunctional Family Dynamics The document elaborates on the complex family dynamics within Jacob's household, particularly Joseph's relationship with his brothers, who harbor jealousy and resentment due to Jacob's favoritism. Joseph's role as a "tattler" and the implications of his dreams, which foretell his future authority over his brothers, further exacerbate tensions. The author highlights how Joseph's dreams are perceived negatively by his brothers, leading to increased hostility.   The Conspiracy Against Joseph As the narrative unfolds, the brothers conspire to kill Joseph upon seeing him approach. Reuben, the eldest brother, intervenes to save him from murder, suggesting they throw him into a pit instead. Ultimately, Joseph is sold to Midianite merchants, and the brothers deceive their father by fabricating a story about Joseph's death. This act of betrayal sets the stage for Joseph's eventual rise to power in Egypt, which serves a greater divine purpose.    Spiritual and Prophetic Implications The author draws parallels between Joseph's experiences and the life of Jesus, emphasizing themes of rejection, suffering, and eventual exaltation. Both figures are seen as beloved sons who face betrayal but ultimately fulfill God's plan for salvation. The commentary concludes with reflections on the prophetic nature of Joseph's story and its relevance to the understanding of Jesus' mission.   Conclusion In summary, the document provides a rich exploration of the themes found in Genesis 37, focusing on the life of Joseph and its connections to broader spiritual narratives. The author encourages readers to reflect on the lessons learned from Joseph's experiences and the overarching message of divine providence in the face of human betrayal.

Even in the new covenant, there's an assignment for you and me. The new covenant becomes the gateway into the greater works Jesus told us that we would do. The finished work of the cross becomes an access point to the greater works that we could have never walked in without it. The finished work of the cross becomes the access point into a life of purity and righteousness and holiness that you could have never achieved on your own. It's purely a gift of grace. When we find ourselves falling short of that standard, well, then what? The Bible says, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So the new covenant is the fulfillment of all of it. Jesus, our Savior, who made us right with God. That's the ministry of reconciliation. So here's the challenge. Live as though you're already loved by God, because you are. You're not under a contract. You're in a covenant with God who never quits, never gives up, never runs out.

He's calling you to conquer—and to raise up warriors who know how to do the same. The travelers were hot and weary, and tensions soon turned into quarrels. It may have seemed like building Zion, a city of love, unity, and peace, was going to take a long time.Fortunately, building Zion—in Missouri in 1831 or in our hearts, families, and wards today—doesn't require us to be perfect. Instead, “of you it is required to forgive,” the Lord said (Doctrine and Covenants 64:10). He requires “the heart and a willing mind” (verse 34). And He requires patience and diligence, for Zion is built on the foundation of “small things,” accomplished by those who do not become “weary in well-doing” (verse 33).You're listening to Come Follow Me Kids! Section 64 emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and the need to be patient and faithful, as the Lord will forgive whom He will forgive, but we are required to forgive all. It also discusses the law of tithing and the blessings of obedience. Section 65 is a revelation that serves as a prayer, calling for the kingdom of God to roll forth and fill the earth. Section 66 is a personal revelation to William E. McLellin, encouraging him to continue in faith, repent, and preach the gospel. These sections collectively highlight themes of repentance, forgiveness, and the spreading of the gospel.SPARK 1: SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN================OBJECT LESSON: “Ye Ought to Forgive One Another”: Floating ForgivenessSPARK 2: RUN AND NOT BE WEARY===================================OBJECT LESSON: “Be Not Weary in Well-Doing”: Water Bottle WellsSPARK 3: DAYLIGHT SAVINGS=============================OBJECT LESSON: “The Gospel Shall Roll Forth”: Self-Rolling RocksCHAPTERS=========00:00:14 INTRO00:03:03 QUICK GLANCE00:07:12 SPARK 1 INSIGHTS00:16:34 SPARK 1 OBJECT LESSON00:21:02 SPARK 1 QUESTIONS00:23:25 SPARK 2 INSIGHTS00:29:50 SPARK 2 OBJECT LESSON00:34:27 SPARK 2 QUESTIONS00:36:44 SPARK 3 INSIGHTS00:45:17 SPARK 3 OBJECT LESSON00:49:11 SPARK 3 QUESTIONS00:51:29 WRAP UPLINKS=====WEB: https://www.gather.meckmom.comETSY: https://www.etsy.com/shop/meckmomINSTAGRAM: Instagram @meckmomlifePODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST DISCLAIMER=================================This podcast represents my own thoughts and opinions. The psalm is arranged into five sections: two small sections at the beginning and end, and three larger sections in the middle. The first section (v. 1-4) introduces the twin themes: God's character and his covenant with David. In this psalm, his character is defined by his steadfast love and his faithfulness. Both of these words are applied in terms of his covenant with David–the promise that the seed of David will sit on an everlasting throne (v. 3-4). And this is crucial: the psalmist says he will sing of God's steadfast love and faithfulness forever.
