Scooter Nguyen and Jeremy Parish join Ray, along with special guest Aram Jabbari, PR manager at Atlus USA, who also lends insight to the discussion about Capcom trying to prevent PR disasters earlier and the pros/cons of digital distribution.

No Alex this week, so this episode feels like an awkward exchange after an unpleasant one-night-stand. Evan and Scott take you through the news this week, but really it should be called the Awkward News with Evan's love for CoD stories and Scott simply hating CoD. Also don't forget Scott's yawns that occur every 10 or so seconds! Some interesting notes is that Evan made a mistake, CoD Black Ops doesn't come out until Nov 10th, but MULTIPLAYER INFORMATION comes out on Sep 1st. [God damned stupid Evan.] Also note how Evan and Scott talk "queues" like that actually had plans for this show (pee-shaw!). We have a short What We've Been Playing Segment, since we haven't been playing much. A light hearted-ed discussion topic about resurgent genres. ALSO Next week discussion topic: Downloadable vs. Retail! Which is more viable! Email us what you think! ALSO 3 Possible new reviews next week: LIMBO, DeathSpank, and Red Dead Redemption! On Sarcastic Gamer Pink Episode 72, Harlequin, Jax and Esmeralda talk about Naughty Bear, Death Spank, Transformer: War for Cybertron, Kinect, mail male, and much, much more.
We talk about a ton of movies this week but that doesn't stop Sean from bringing up Wanted: Weapons of Fate, Red Dead Redemption and, along with Nathan, Limbo. Jon talks about Chrono Trigger DS, Apollo Justice and how he can't seem to start Dragon Quest IX. Nathan finishes what we've been playing with Death Spank. The San Diego Comic Con is on so we run down some of its more video game centered announcements. Dead Rising: Case Zero gets a price point and we're both excited and worried. Kinect bundles and prices are finally revealed and Demon Souls online/white tendency is increased. We want you to write in a lot this week with three separate questions for you to answer. 1) Would you like to hear us do a podcast all about Spy Fiction? 2) Do you think the next rookie (Carmine) in Gears of War 3 should live or die? 3) What do you think happened to Frank West at the end of the original Dead Rising? Send in your responses to the email address (topdownperspective@hotmail.com) or comment with your answers on the site.

As we dragged our semi-swine flu'ed carcasses back across the California border, we finished recording a special little podcast just for you! In the first section (recorded from the comfort of our hotel room) we discuss the games we saw at PAX both hands-on and from afar and our thoughts about them, including Mass Effect 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Shank, Death Spank, L4D2, and a lot more. Then, as recorded in a piece of metal hurtling down Interstate 5, we talk about our human experiences at PAX, including our thrilling, truck stop drama on the way up to Seattle. We apologize for the sound quality in the second segment, since, you know, recorded in a moving vehicle, but, well, you don't HAVE to listen, do you? In the latest Podcast episode, hear about Mafia II, Metroid: Other M, Ys Seven and more! Other news: Sony's online payment plan, THQ joining the "project $10" bandwagon, Halo: Reach breaking street date, DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, and Left 4 Dead, Deathspank getting a sequel and much more.
