Who's ready for a great show this week?! I'm so fired up--the kids are home, Christmas is in the air, and today's episode is all about designing your most epic year yet — 2026. This is Part 2 of our Annual Strategic Planning Series. Last week we reflected on 2025. This week, we look forward to 2026 and make a decision about who we are becoming, what we are creating, and how we will achieve maximum success and fulfillment. In this episode, I walk you through: How to intentionally design 2026, instead of letting it happen by accident. Why choosing your ONE WORD for the year is a non-negotiable. The shift from what you need to do to who you must become. How raising your daily standards changes everything. We also talk about how I'm personally structuring my year and why fewer, clearer priorities lead to more focus and fulfillment. We dive into practical frameworks, including: Creating daily non-negotiables, as winners don't negotiate with themselves. Building a calendar that reflects your true priorities. Avoiding and eliminating energy leaks and distractions that drain your momentum. Upgrading your environment, your inputs, and the people around you. Installing weekly and quarterly review systems so you fall to your systems, not your excuses. Lastly, I want to challenge you with "10" powerful questions that will frame your entire 2026 year, including: What would a 10-out-of-10 year in 2026 look like? Who must I become to deserve the life I say I want? What habits must be installed, eliminated, or reinforced? What am I willing to say 'no' to so I can say 'yes' to living my best life? Where do I need more discipline—and where do I need more grace? What would my future-self thank me for if I started this habit or action-step today? Because clarity, confidence, and courage doesn't just come from looking forward — it comes from looking BACK and extracting the GOLD from 2025 also. And that's exactly what we are doing today. This episode is all about the transformational power of reflection and why it is STEP ONE in creating your BEST YEAR YET. You ready?! WHY REFLECTION MATTERS (5-GAME-CHANGING REASONS): 1. Reflection creates clarity amid the chaos. Life is loud. Fast. Busy. Reflection slows the noise, shifts you from autopilot to intentionality, and gives you crystal-clear focus. Clarity is jet fuel for your goals. 2. Reflection builds confidence by celebrating wins. Most people forget how far they've come. Reflection forces you to capture the GOOD, celebrate the wins, and remember this truth: YOU are capable, resilient, and stronger than you think. 3. Reflection turns challenges into wisdom. Challenges don't break you — they SHAPE you. When you write them down, pain turns into purpose and lessons become leverage for the future. 4. Reflection reduces stress and anxiety. Writing is therapeutic. When thoughts stay in your head, they create pressure. When they hit paper, they create perspective. Lighten the load. Breathe. Release. 5. Reflection realigns you with purpose and values. Reflection reconnects you to what matters most — faith, family, mission, calling. It's a recalibration of your internal GPS. 10 POWERFUL QUESTIONS TO REFLECT ON IN 2025: Take time with these. Don't rush them. Write them out. 1. What were your TOP 5 wins or highlights of 2025? 2. What were your biggest challenges — and what did they teach you? 3. In what ways did you grow the most this year? 4. What did you START in 2025 that you want to AMPLIFY in 2026? 5. What did you tolerate in 2025 that you will NO LONGER tolerate in 2026? 6. What relationships mattered most — and how can you be more intentional with them? 7. What habits FUELED you? What habits DRAINED you? 8. What are you most PROUD of in 2025? 9. Where did you feel the presence of God the most this year? 10. If 2025 were a chapter in the book of your life, what would the TITLE be? These questions are where breakthroughs happen. Not only do I share many of my answers, I ask you to answer them as well. When you start with reflection, your goals become more meaningful, your vision becomes clearer, and your drive becomes PURER. ACTION STEPS: Please Block out 30–60 minutes this week, find a quiet space, grab your journal or Annual Strategic Plan, and start writing. Breathe. Reflect. Don't overthink it. Happy holidays. I'm pumped to share today's podcast with you during one of the most important, spiritual, and opportunity-rich seasons of the entire year. This is the season where reflection meets revelation. Where gratitude meets growth. And where faith meets fuel. Between Thanksgiving and New Year's, we are also given a sacred window to reflect, release, and realign with God and our many blessings. Listen, this season can be magical…but it can also be stressful, overwhelming, busy, and even emotionally heavy. And if we're not intentional, the holidays can drain us instead of fuel us. So today, I want to walk you through a simple, clear, faith-centered 5- week journey to get your heart right, your mind right, your spirit right… and position you for PURPOSE, PRESENCE, and POWER heading into a brand-new year. How does that sound? In this week's episode, I'm sharing 5 spiritual and personal growth goals that will help you deepen your faith, reduce your stress, elevate your energy, and walk into 2026 with more clarity, passion, & purpose. I hope that fires you up! Specifically, here is what I will be addressing in your "5-Week Spiritual Reset Program" (Ep. 455 of the IMPACT SHOW): 1. Daily "First 10" Spiritual Practice and how it can help ground you and give you even more gratitude on the daily… 2. Sabbath Rhythm Once a Week and how it lowers cortisol, strengthens faith, and restores your mental/emotional battery. 3. Move Your Body Daily with Purpose (Minimum: 30 Minutes a Day) and how this can help lower cortisol, decrease stress, and improve your daily energy. 4. First, ask yourself these 5-reflection questions: o What did God teach me this year? o What prayers were answered? o What trials did I overcome? o Where did I grow? o Where do I still need healing? Then ask yourself these 3-questions that can help mold you to who you are 'today' and who you will become 'tomorrow': o Who is God calling me to become? o What is God asking me to release? o What is God preparing me to build? Lastly, I want to remind you of something today: Life brings seasons of triumph and seasons of trial. The mountaintop moments remind us of God's abundance; the valleys remind us of His presence in our weakness. Remember, 'My faith has carried me through the highest mountains and the lowest valleys.' It turns out she had visited Africa and that it is a very common African proverb attributed to her, but I digress... I could sorta see it then, but the notion that we are all interconnected and rely on one another in small and big ways has been made clear especially during the pandemic. Family Success Team is a term I came up with when we became parents. I define members of our FST as anyone who helps us be successful in any way. People who are on my FST include: school/teachers who work well with our neurodiverse kid, her OT, our therapists, our babysitters who played endless games of Thomas the Train and Duplo, all the neighbors/friends who pick up or drop off my kid when I am not able, all the housecleaners we've hired over the years, Carly - our professional organizer who helped me learn how to use our house spaces better, my hairstylist because she saves me time, money and product, my chief of staff Katie who does all the behind the scenes work in my business, the grandparents for taking care of themselves and having a good relationship with our kid, my walking buddies, my yoga teacher, my strength training coach, my parenting coach, my health coach, my business coaches, my physician, my friends who show up day after day, my biz besties, the public library, my Fair Play colleagues, all the authors who have helped me be a better version of myself. I could go on, but I think you get the point. We really aren't made to do life alone. There is simply too much to be done and we can't be experts at everything. There is a beautiful surrender to that if you ask me.
