Herschel Walker is a brain dead puppet (Check out our Stay Dirty, Stay Moderate "Fuck Herschel Walker" for the deep dive). And Warnock needed to come out loud and proud to have any chance of moving the needle held firmly in place by the full weight of the GOP's gaslighting. Despite all the allegations of the two-faced, abortion denier, Republican Herschel Walker has galvanized the GOP base in Georgia with the endorsement of the now-subpoenaed Donald Trump. The stage was set for a high stakes showdown between the former running back and incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock in their first and only debate.Of course, don't forget: Vote.org, Vote.org, Vote.org! Saving democracy one episode at a time sounds cute, but it's existential and we mean it. In the 24th installment of Stay Dirty, Stay Moderate, Adam explores how the GOP closes ranks, not matter what. In the wake of the horrid allegations about Herschel Walker, it's important to understand how vital the Georgia Senate Race is to the fate of democracy in this country. But the Democrats need to fight back. No more bringing knives to a gun fight. The GOP doesn't care how they get control of the Senate. And the Raphael Warnock is in the tightest race for in the country. With that in mind, don't forget: Vote.org, Vote.org, Vote.org! In this first episode of 2021, Ken introduces his newly released little book, My Creed, on Amazon. It's a book about authentic belief - and takes on the traditional evangelical statement of faith. Ken reviews Season 1 and the 65 episodes he created during the covid crisis - since the podcast launch in March of 2020. A major question addressed for the year by many of his guests is the strange but undeniable devotion of a large majority of white evangelicals to Donald Trump. He reviews many of the theories and scholarship addressing that vexing question - and shows how his little book addresses the theological issues surrounding this phenomenon. He includes a brief reading from Chapter 2. This podcast was recorded on Tuesday, January 5, 2020, the Georgia run-off day for two U.S. Senate seats. The results were unknown. Ken also gives us a glimpse of what's coming for 2021. SHOW NOTESSupport the show (http://thebeachedwhitemale.com)

Welcome to the latest edition of Talking Data. Our Talking Data series seeks to offer timely insights into macro market themes along with macro data and its impact on the economy and markets. I am Kristen Radosh of Arbor Research & Trading and I will be your host. Our presenter is Jim Bianco of Bianco Research. Jim will be providing his update on the upcoming Georgia Senate race that's now less than a week away. • Currently, Senate seats consist of 50 Republicans, 46 Democrats, and two independents that caucus with the Democrats. A 50/50 tie would be broken by vice president Kamala Harris. • The polls lean Democrat, but are within the margin of error • The betting markets lean Republican • Republicans outperformed pre-election polls in the initial election For further information on Arbor Research, Bianco Research and Arbor Data Science, please contact Gus Handler at gus.handler@arborresearch.com.
