No Pay No PlayVous devez dépasser les 1000$/jour ? See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Desire to Done: A podcast for Virtual Assistants, introverts, work from home
I can't believe it, but my podcast is about to celebrate its 1st anniversary! It's weird, I never thought I'd have a podcast, but one day I decided I wanted to try it out. In today's episode, I thought it would be fun to share a behind-the-scenes look at the steps I take to create and publish my episodes. Maybe you're curious about what's involved with producing a podcast, or perhaps you're a VA thinking about helping other podcasters. First, I'll give you a peek at what I do, and then I'll give you a list of podcasting tasks you could help others with if that's something you're interested in.Mentioned in this episode:*Buzzsprout - hosting company I use for my podcast. It's a new month and that means a new theme here at The Virtual Assistant Advantage. This month I'm very excited about the new theme of Virtual Assistant Niches. As a virtual assistant, I believe it is important to choose a niche or area of specialization to focus on that will set you apart from others. Because I am a virtual assistant that specializes in authors, speakers, and coaches and there are numerous other niches or areas of specialization I have decided to bring some guests on the podcast to cover these different niches. Today's guests are our first for this series and we have with us the founders of the Podcast VA Association and the Podcast VA certification program, fellow podcasters, Jenn Uren and Kelly VanHoveIn.
I am so excited about today's interview. I have two fantastic ladies here to talk to you about Podcast VA Association. If you are a current podcaster then you know the dilemma of wishing that you could double your time when it comes to your podcast. But it can be daunting to think about hiring somebody or training, someone. On the flip side of that if you are a podcaster you also know what a big investment podcasting can be. My guests today, Jen and Kelly, are here to talk about how they've created a certification program for VAs and a directory for podcasters so that we can access it and find a VA. If you are thinking about hiring a VA for your show, or have been thinking about earning some extra income, and you love the podcasting industry today's show is for you! EPISODE 87 A great guest experience makes for a great interview... and you know what? There are steps that podcasters and Podcast Managers can take to make sure that the experience your guest has is a good one! Today I'm chatting with Bethany Hawkins, who comes with the perspective of both a podcaster and a manager. She gives us her advice on how to pick the right guests for a show and how to prep them before an interview. We also talk about expanding your team, why podfade happens, and the importance of great communication in your business. Bethany Hawkins found her love of podcasts while working in the criminal justice system. Today I'm introducing you to one of my spiritual Dream Team, Nicole Bayliss. I've been seeing Nicole for years now - I see her for a dreamy, and seriously insightful, combination of tarot and reiki. She works with a lot of other business owners, and I thought she'd be perfect to tackle a major - probably THE most major - issue that I see business owners, but also women generally having: how to overcome a negative mindset.Emma Isaacs once said to me that business is 100% mindset, and I couldn't agree more with her. So I know that myself and Nicole's conversation has the potential to game change your mindset. In this episode, Nicole shares:The affirmation she uses to solve problems in her businessWhy we should see our businesses as a spiritual healing journeyHow we are moving as a collective from the Age of Productivity to the Age of SpiritualityThe most common confidence blocks women experience - and how to overcome themThe biggest money blocks she sees, and how she coaches her clients through themThe limiting belief behind many thyroid problemsAn exercise to help us deal with imposter syndromeWhat an “evidence journal” is and why we need to start one todayHow bringing spirituality into our businesses can create miraclesThe program many of us are running that we will be miserable until “we get there”An exercise to deal with negative people and energyWhat to look for when deciding on a new spiritual practitionerYou can find Nicole at www.nicolebayliss.com.au and her Instagram is @shifttobliss.Big thanks to Lyndal and her team at Podcast VA for helping me create not just this episode, but this entire first season of the podcast. Lyndal Harris has been in business for 6 years, and definitely knows a thing or two about how to flourish when her backs up against the wall! When her husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer - at the same time as they were separating - she knew she needed to be there for him along with their children to give him the best opportunity to fight. She also knew she needed to create a consistent income that the family could survive on - which meant making some significant shifts in the way she operated and what she offered to her clients. In this episode Lyndal shares with us the emotional journey she's been on as a mother, partner and business owner, and how she turned her business around to stop selling her time for money so that she could scale her business and create Australia's first V.A. service specifically for podcasters. Lyndal is an inspiring, selfless and very focused woman who talks candidly about how she's navigating the very challenging situation of coping with terminal illness whilst riding the rollercoaster of being a business owner. If you want positivity, inspiration, and words of wisdom from a business woman who has a wealth of experience under her belt, this episode is for you! You can check out the show notes along with all of Lyndal's contact details and links to her free download '10 Step Podcast Launch Checklist' here: - busybusinesswomen.biz/podcast18 Enjoy! Faye
