The Seattle Seahawks latest clash with the Los Angeles Rams left fans reeling after a brutal four-interception performance. What separates good QBs from great ones, and why some fans are losing patience while others still see hope for a turnaround. Expectations, turnovers, and the pressure of big moments all come under the microscope. So what exactly is Darnold's record in "big games" and how does it compare with "big moments"? Is there a difference? We also highlight some big time stats that Jaxon Smith-Njigba is putting up on the offensive side and how Devon Witherspoon has been locking down the perimeter on defense. Looking ahead, the focus shifts to the upcoming matchup against the Titans and what the Seahawks need to do to get back on track. Mackenzie Rivers and Dan Rivera talk NFL Survivor for Week 12. Mackenzie Rivers and Dan Rivera break down NFL Week 12 Survivor strategy, MVP odds, team power ratings, and future-week planning. Mack opens by noting major movement in MVP markets, especially Matthew Stafford rising against Drake May, and argues Stafford should be the favorite due to team strength, narrative, and veteran status. Dan emphasizes that betting awards requires thinking like the media, and the Patriots' soft schedule hurts May's candidacy. They discuss power-rating models showing the Rams as the top team, the Chiefs second, and surprisingly the Texans third due to strong underlying metrics despite a .500 record. Shifting to Survivor, they highlight Seattle as the top Week 12 option versus the Titans: Tennessee grades as bottom-tier across analytic systems, has one of the league's worst offenses, and relies on Cam Ward, whose turnover tendencies create multiple paths for a Seahawks win. They compare alternative Seattle usage weeks but conclude Week 12 is optimal even assigning pessimistic turnover scenarios. They cover other big favorites: the Lions (whose home splits and Jekyll-and-Hyde Jared Goff profile point to a strong bounce-back vs the Giants), the Ravens (concerns around Lamar's health, short-week turnaround, and potential Joe Burrow return in Week 13), the Packers (Jordan Love inconsistency, injuries to Josh Jacobs/Tucker Kraft, and JJ McCarthy volatility), the Rams vs Bucs (Rams may “screw around,” Bucs too injured and erratic), and the 49ers (better held for Week 15 vs Tennessee after a bye). They repeatedly stress that late-season future value is more important than raw win probability. They examine Week 13 Thanksgiving lines: Lions over Packers, Chiefs over Cowboys, Ravens over Bengals, and Eagles over Bengals (depending on Burrow's readiness). They warn that using the Ravens in Week 13 is riskier than the market implies, given divisional familiarity and Baltimore's offensive stagnation. They touch briefly on off-the-wall options like the Bears, Saints, Jaguars, and Patriots but generally dismiss them due to fluky profiles or better future deployment. Dan notes the Saints may become viable in Weeks 16–17 when they face the Jets or Titans. Ultimately both hosts circle back to Seattle as the cleanest Week 12 Survivor pick, citing matchup, quarterback disparity, and Tennessee's inability to generate offense without extreme turnover luck. The Rams (8-2) are set to take on the Buccaneers (6-4) at SoFi Stadium on Sunday Night. Baker Mayfield officially returns to the field that essentially revived his career, while Matthew Stafford is set to continue his MVP campaign. Todd Bowles' defense is tough: they'll likely replicate a lot of the same pressure concepts that Seattle drew up. But, Tampa is banged up and hasn't played their best football over the last 5 weeks. Bucky Irving is back, so reinforcements are coming. Regardless, the Rams are 6.5pt favorites and should be able to handle business on Sunday night. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Knuckles and Zak launch Silly Saturday – a new Proper True Yarn spin-off where they dive blind into the wildest listener call-ins from a “lost” folder full of filthy, unfiltered chaos. This first Silly Saturday's got it all: a Tinder date ambush by surprise kids, a Kiwi truckie with 30 roadside emergency bogs and a full-noise pants blowout, food-poisoning horror yarns (including Zak spewing and shitting himself after dodgy sushi), trusting a fart in Thailand, and a car getting absolutely sent until the tyres and motor give up.There's even a rogue detour into bush “cures” and backyard medical theories – strictly yarns, not health advice – plus a bit of love for Chevs, hate for Rams, and a shoutout to the Sharp Motor Group. Raw, loose and completely un-pre-listened… welcome to Silly Saturday.#propertrueyarn Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
