Amen. John 9:24-41English Standard Version24 So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.” 25 He answered, “Whether he is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” 26 They said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” 27 He answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?” 28 And they reviled him, saying, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. 29 We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.” 30 The man answered, “Why, this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. 32 Never since the world began has it been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” 34 They answered him, “You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?” And they cast him out.35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36 He answered, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” 37 Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” 38 He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. 39 Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” 40 Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” 41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,' your guilt remains. Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. The Song of Simeon - Nunc dimittisLord, you now have set your servant free * to go in peace as you have promised; For these eyes of mine have seen the Savior, * whom you have prepared for all the world to see: A Light to enlighten the nations, * and the glory of your people Israel.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: * as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.7 “So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. The Song of Mary - MagnificatMy soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; * for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant From this day all generations will call me blessed: * the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him * in every generation.He has shown the strength of his arm, * he has scattered the proud in their conceit.He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, * and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, * and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel, * for he has remembered his promise of mercy, The promise he made to our fathers, * to Abraham and his children for ever.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: *as It was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. Amen. The LessonsIsaiah 10:5-7 English Standard VersionWoe to Assyria, the rod of my anger;    the staff in their hands is my fury!Against a godless nation I send him,    and against the people of my wrath I command him,to take spoil and seize plunder,    and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.But he does not so intend,    and his heart does not so think;but it is in his heart to destroy,    and to cut off nations not a few;Isaiah 10:13-21For he says:“By the strength of my hand I have done it,    and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;I remove the boundaries of peoples,    and plunder their treasures;    like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.My hand has found like a nest    the wealth of the peoples;and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,    so I have gathered all the earth;and there was none that moved a wing    or opened the mouth or chirped.”Shall the axe boast over him who hews with it,    or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,    or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!Therefore the Lord God of hosts    will send wasting sickness among his stout warriors,and under his glory a burning will be kindled,    like the burning of fire.The light of Israel will become a fire,    and his Holy One a flame,and it will burn and devour    his thorns and briers in one day.The glory of his forest and of his fruitful land    the Lord will destroy, both soul and body,    and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few    that a child can write them down.In that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean on him who struck them, but will lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. Amen. Revelation 12:1-12 English Standard VersionAnd a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. Against the pain, chaos, and suffering life can inflict we can be left wondering, “Why believe?” Like the Israelites mourning bygone days and the beauty of a city they will never see, we can find ourselves hopeless. But the Prophet Zechariah's message to the Israelites, and to us, is to renew our trust in God and discover faith again. “Waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought, useless and disappointing.” - A Cinderella StoryLike Israel we are left asking: How and why we can continue to have faith? What is faith?Mental affirmation is only the beginning of Faith, It ends with obedient action, or “Enacted Loyalty” - Salvation by Allegiance by Matthew Bates“Faith is the substance, or reality, of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen.” - Heb 11:1Allegiance communicates who & what we are loyal to and obey.Zechariah directs the people of Israel toward a Spirit-empowered Faith“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” -James 4:7-8God's promise is consistent that when his people repent and turn toward Him, He is faithful to draw near to them. Bible Project Resource: https://bibleproject.com/view-resource/246/Zechariah 3 & 4 offer us a vision of (1) the why of our faith and (2) the how of our faith.Zechariah 3: Vision about High Priest, JoshuaRole of High Priest:Act as representative and mediatorResponsible for enforcing the covenant & directing the hearts of the people.Jesus is our new High Priest; Jesus is WHY we can have faith “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” - 1 Peter 1:3Doubt isn't decreased faith, its matured faithStudies have shown that for every 1 negative experience, you need 3 positive ones. Give God the chance to give you 3 positive moments. Faith begins with engaging your mind and ends with actions. Zechariah 4: Vision about Governor, Zerubbabel“Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit Says the Lord” - Zech 4:6God is the source of Zerubbabel's authority and power. “Only if his Spirit governs every detail can service be glorifying to him.” -Scholar Joyce G. BaldwinSpirit Empowerment is HOW we have faith.“Obedience is about living in the present as if the future has already arrived. It's not blind faith you're doing it because you can point back to the resurrection of the risen Jesus.” - Theologian Tim MackeyFaith is a leap but it's not blind.“...real biblical faith is not a general positive mindset or a blind optimism but is directed toward a defined object—and it is the trustworthiness of the object that sources and fixes faith's genuineness. So if we want to grow in faith, we should study and contemplate God's extraordinary reliability.” -Author Matthew BatesSPIRITUAL PRACTICEEncourage your soul with stories of FAITHPosture yourself to receive Love God & Love your Neighbor “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' Micah 6:1-8 – What does God want from us?Micah is like a courtroom with God showing the people of Israel and Judah how far they have fallen away from him. v6-7: The people respond with more and more outlandish ideas of how to please God. God does not want their sacrifices, he wants their hearts wholly for him.God wants his people to walk humbly in his presence. There is no point in sacrifice if it doesn't change your heart or attitudes.Hosea 6:4-6The Pharisees in the New Testament had the same attitude. Matthew 12:1-8God doesn't want a sacrifice, he wants us to know and love him – he wants our hearts.What Does God require of his people?Micah 6:8Justice (Mishpat) and Kindness (Hesed) are the two most used words in the bible to show the character of God. We are made in his image so these should be part of our character too. JUSTICE – God is a just God and has to deal with the problem of sin in the world and in our lives. Jesus was the final sacrifice to reconcile us back to a right relationship with God. We are justified by Jesus. He turns away God's wrath and turns it to favour through sacrifice, propitiation.1 Corinthians 6:11 KINDNESS (Mercy) – God has a steadfast and unfailing love for his people – The whole of our redemption is based on his mercy towards us. His kindness endures throughout eternity and is available every day as – see Psalm 52:1.Ephesians 2:7Titus 3:4-7Luke 6:35-36Let's be merciful and show kindness as Christ has done the same for us. Deserved? No! But given anyway and immeasurable!WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD.Have the same attitude that Christ had. To walk humbly, we recognise that there is nothing that we can bring to God to gain our salvation and to make him love us any more than he already doesRock of Ages“Nothing in my hand I bring – simply to thy cross I clingNaked come to thee for dress – Helpless look to thee for graceFoul, I to the fountain fly, wash me saviour or I die”Total reliance on God for our salvation and for his mercy to get us home to be with Jesus. This attitude is personified in Jesus himself-Philippians 2:5-8Pride is the opposite of humility. We have nothing to be proud about. We are all sinners, all have fallen short of God's standard and can do nothing in our own strength to make the situation better – Ephesians tells us that we were DEAD in our sins and are only made alive because of Gods great love and mercy – by grace you have been saved.James 4:6 in Amplified BibleWhen we walk humbly with God we become so much like him in our actions and attitudes that justice and steadfast love flows out of us – These are God's characteristics. We become more like him by the power of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22God is interested in what is in our hearts – not what we do outwardly as sacrifice.The first commandment is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strengthJesus is talking here about an attitude in a relationship not compliance to a law. This love encompasses our whole heart and is sacrificial in that we give him everything. This love will impact us in extraordinary ways, behaviour, speech and personalities. We cannot and must not reduce this love to mere duty or ritual.Our love for God should be like his love for us – consistent, permanent, passionate, sacrificial and should be the driving force that empowers our lives – We only love him because he first loved us (1 John 4:19)Matt Redman – When the music fadesI'll bring you more than a song, for a song in itself is not what you have required,You search much deeper within through the way things appearYou're looking into my heart.

Genesis 1:1-31 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning the first day. 6And God said, Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water. 7So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8God called the vault sky. And there was evening, and there was morning the second day. 9And God said, Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear. And it was so. 10God called the dry ground land, and the gathered waters he called seas. And God saw that it was good. 11Then God said, Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. 12The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening, and there was morning the third day. 14And God said, Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth. And it was so. 16 God made two great lights the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19And there was evening, and there was morning the fourth day. 20And God said, Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky. 21So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them and said, Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. 23And there was evening, and there was morning the fifth day. 24And God said, Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind. And it was so. 25God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. 27So God created mankind in his own image,in the image of God he created them;male and female he created them. 28God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. 29 Then God said, I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in itI give every green plant for food. And it was so. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morningthe sixth day. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/shcc/message

Feast of The Trinity The Collect: Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Old Testament: Genesis 1:1-2:4a 1In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, 2the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. 3Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. 6And God said, “Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so. 8God called the dome Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. 9And God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. 10God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11Then God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it.” And it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed of every kind, and trees of every kind bearing fruit with the seed in it. And God saw that it was good.13And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. 14And God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years, 15and let them be lights in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 16God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17God set them in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth, 18to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. 20And God said, “Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the dome of the sky.” 21So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. 24And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind.” And it was so. 25God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”27So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” 29God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. 1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their multitude.2And on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he had done. 3So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation. 4These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. Psalm: Psalm 8 or Canticle 2 or 13 1 O Lord our Governor, *        how exalted is your Name in all the world! 2 Out of the mouths of infants and children *        your majesty is praised above the heavens. 3 You have set up a stronghold against your adversaries, *        to quell the enemy and the avenger. 4 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, *        the moon and the stars you have set in their courses, 5 What is man that you should be mindful of him? *        the son of man that you should seek him out? 6 You have made him but little lower than the angels; *        you adorn him with glory and honor; 7 You give him mastery over the works of your hands; *        you put all things under his feet: 8 All sheep and oxen, *        even the wild beasts of the field, 9 The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, *        and whatsoever walks in the paths of the sea. 10 O Lord our Governor, *        how exalted is your Name in all the world! or Glory to you, Lord God of our fathers; *        you are worthy of praise; glory to you. Glory to you for the radiance of your holy Name; *        we will praise you and highly exalt you for ever. Glory to you in the splendor of your temple; *        on the throne of your majesty, glory to you. Glory to you, seated between the Cherubim; *        we will praise you and highly exalt you for ever. Glory to you, beholding the depths; *        in the high vault of heaven, glory to you. Glory to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; *        we will praise you and highly exalt you for ever. Epistle: 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 11Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 12Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you. 13The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. Gospel: Matthew 28:16-20 16Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. Amen. LessonsEzekiel 1:1-14, 24-281 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Chebar canal, and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.4 As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. 5 And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, 6 but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. 7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: 9 their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above. Each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies. 12 And each went straight forward. Wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14 And the living creatures darted to and fro, like the appearance of a flash of lightning.24 And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like the sound of many waters, like the sound of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings. 25 And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads. When they stood still, they let down their wings.26 And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 27 And upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were gleaming metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. 28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking. Hebrews 2:5-185 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. 6 It has been testified somewhere,“What is man, that you are mindful of him,    or the son of man, that you care for him?7 You made him for a little while lower than the angels;    you have crowned him with glory and honor,8     putting everything in subjection under his feet.”Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. 9 But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, 12 saying,“I will tell of your name to my brothers;    in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”13 And again,“I will put my trust in him.”And again,“Behold, I and the children God has given me.”14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. 16 For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham. 17 Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. The Word of the Lord.Thanks Be To God. Cantemus Domino (The Song of Moses)I will sing to the Lord, for he is lofty and uplifted; *the horse and its rider has he hurled into the sea.The Lord is my strength and my refuge; *the Lord has become my Savior.This is my God and I will praise him, *the God of my people and I will exalt him.The Lord is a mighty warrior; *Yahweh is his Name.The chariots of Pharaoh and his army has he hurled into the sea; *the finest of those who bear armor have been drowned in the Red Sea.The fathomless deep has overwhelmed them; *they sank into the depths like a stone.Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in might; *your right hand, O Lord, has overthrown the enemy.Who can be compared with you, O Lord, among the gods? *who is like you, glorious in holiness,awesome in renown, and worker of wonders?You stretched forth your right hand; *the earth swallowed them up.With your constant love you led the people you redeemed; *with your might you brought them in safety to your holy dwelling.You will bring them in and plant them *on the mount of your possession,The resting-place you have made for yourself, O Lord, *the sanctuary, O Lord, that your hand has established.The Lord shall reign *for ever and for ever.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. The Apostles CreedI believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. The PrayersLord, have mercy.Christ, have mercyLord, have mercyOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. The SuffragesO Lord, show your mercy upon us;And grant us your salvation.O Lord, guide those who govern usAnd lead us in the way of justice and truth.Clothe your ministers with righteousnessAnd let your people sing with joy.O Lord, save your peopleAnd bless your inheritance.Give peace in our time, O LordAnd defend us by your mighty power.Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgottenNor the hope of the poor be taken away.Create in us clean hearts, O GodAnd take not your Holy Spirit from us. Take a moment of silence at this time to reflect and pray for others. The CollectsAscension DayAlmighty God, whose blessed Son our Savior Jesus Christ ascended far above all heavens that he might fill all things: Mercifully give us faith to perceive that, according to his promise, he abides with his Church on earth, even to the end of the ages; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen. Daily Collects:A Collect for PeaceO God, the author of peace and lover of concord, to know you is eternal life and to serve you is perfect freedom: Defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in your defense, may not fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.A Collect for GraceO Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day: Defend us by your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; and that, guided by your Spirit, we may do what is righteous in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.Prayer for MissionAlmighty and everlasting God, who alone works great marvels: Send down upon our clergy and the congregations committed to their charge the life-giving Spirit of your grace, shower them with the continual dew of your blessing, and ignite in them a zealous love of your Gospel; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. General ThanksgivingAlmighty God, Father of all mercies, we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up our selves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; Through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen. A Prayer of St. John ChrysostomAlmighty God, you have given us grace at this time, with one accord to make our common supplications to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will grant their requests: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen. DismissalLet us bless the LordThanks be to God!Alleluia, Alleluia! BenedictionThe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore. The Lord's Prayer: Forgive UsPastor Kent LandhuisTHEME - The more I know how much I've been forgiven, the more forgiving I become. TEXT - Matthew 6:5-15, Matthew 18:21-35OUTLINEFour Truths about Forgiveness.1. Forgiveness is simple. Sin needs to be forgiven. God forgives our sin.We forgive others.We believe in forgiveness.Matthew 6:122. Forgiveness is complicated.a. True or False?Where deep wounds between people are concerned, forgiveness can be unpacked in a moment.Most people agree about what forgiveness is and how it should take place.Good people resolve all their disagreements. There are times when it is wrong to forgive.b. For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. James 2:103. Forgiveness is unconditional.Matthew 18:21-45God demonstrated his love for us in this - While we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8God loves sinners unconditionally because there is no good thing in us that moves God to love us or forgive us.4. Forgiveness is conditional.  Matthew 6:14-15If we confess our sins God is faithful and just and to forgive us our sins. 1 John 1:9Matthew 18:21-45NEXT STEPS* Ask God to forgive you.* Forgive others.Support the show________________________________FACEBOOK @cedarhillscommunitychurchINSTAGRAM @cedarhillscrTWITTER @cedarhillscrWEB www.cedarhillscr.org

Biblical Sexuality – God's Design God and His Word have Authority – 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 12:2This world/culture has no authorityAs a believer, our authority is Christ and His Word (all authority)His Word corrects us and guides usHis Word refines our worldviewHis Word trumps all other ideologies or culture biasesGod's Word does not wither and change with the season – 1 Peter 1:25, Isaiah 40:6-8God's Word is our source for Truth and wisdomWhy is this important? – The Creator of all creation is where Authority and truth is foundWe are Created by and in the Image of God – Genesis 1:26-27We are Created by and in the Image of God – Genesis 1:26-27We are created by GodWe are created in the image of GodWe have purpose through our creation and creatorThere is design and intent in creation, which includes usThe one who creates dictates and has authority over His creation and how they liveHumanity is the prize possession of creationWhy is this important? – We are created with meaning and on purpose. We must not disregard God's design and His authority over His design.We are Created either Male or Female – Genesis 2:15-25Adam is created out of dust in the image of GodAdam is created maleGod decided it is not good for man to be aloneEve is created from AdamEve is created femaleIn all of the creation that is mentioned, only two genders, male and femaleBoth male and female are under the rule and authority of their creatorThe idea that there are more than two genders is not based in biology or truth. Biological sex and gender were synonymous terms. They didn't become different in the culture's eyes until feminists in the 1960s pushed for gender to be about expression. Along with Gayle Rubin (creator of queer theory and pedo apologist) further pushed this idea in the 70's and 80's.Why is this important? – Our culture is making up terms and options that are not a part of God's design and simple biology. We must stand on God's Word and design and not accept the non-biblical worldviewWe are Created with Desire that is fulfilled within Parameters– Genesis 2:24-25Sexual desire is a goof gift…. Within the parameters of marriageBetween man and woman, husband and wifeGod's design is that it is within marriage, not snapchat, pre-marital, adulterous, texting, etc.We are called to self-controlSex is a a representation of wedding vowsOur holiness in our sexuality is a big deal to GodSeeking to fulfill sexual desires outside of God's plan will end up in dissatisfaction and hurtWhy is this important? – We all are created with this desire and the culture shows us many ways to try to fulfill it. It is important to know God's parameters in order to live a holy life as He has called us to.Discussion Questions:Do trust and submit to the authority of God's Word? What are the implications of that in this topic?Why is it important to know that we are created by an all-powerful and loving Creator?What do your students hear on the number of genders and pronouns? How and why do those not hold up to Scripture?Is sex good? Where is it designed emotionally, spiritually, and physically to be?Why is our holiness in our sexuality a big deal to God?In light of what you have just learned about God's design for sexuality, can you articulate His design and purpose?

Intro● Paul encouraging Archippus to fulfil or complete his ministry ● We are all to be minister of the Kingdom of God ● We know this because just as Jesus sent his Disciples in Matthew 28 and Mark 16 it also applies to us ● Mathews recording of the event is straight to the point So what does is look like for us What does it mean to make disciples? Jesus said, "Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you." Simply put, it means that you demonstrate discipleship for them by the way that you live. And of course, verbally communicating God's Word. ● There is an assumption here that you are already obeying the truth you have received ● Does your life reflect the new creation, the person you have been saved to be? ● I was reminded again this week, it's about our Character, our Character matters ● you can be the most gifted, anointed person on the planet but without the godly character its nothing. While I was being prayed with, Colossians 3 was read out to me, God reminding me that my character matters to him. ● We have to model this in the way we live our lives in the good the bad and the ugly of life – When I first Joined this Church I felt God simply say to me I was to stand with the Leader and that's what I did for nearly 30 years and yes sometimes it was good sometimes bad and sometimes it got ugly, but I simply did what God asked of me. ● The challenge for us today is to become a disciple of Jesus Christ - not just a fair-weather follower or simply a churchgoing person. you may have made a decision to follow Jesus but haven't started or maybe you never have! ● Would you be His disciple? If so, your life will never be the same. ● Whatever our ministry, gifting, calling – whatever you want to call it, it was always meant to be worked out in the context of the community of believers, not independently no super heroes, No special ones but everyone being dependant on one another working it out together. ● The great commission is Gods mission we get to partner with him and one another I could have used several passages from scripture concerning Gifts but will just look at what Paul says to the Romans in Chapter 12 v 4-6● Dependant on one another ● Not in competition with one another ● For a body to function we need each other and to work together. Romans 12:4-6Romans 12:6-8God has not set the bar so high we cannot attain the standard it's that we are to do what we do well! Not because we have to, or ought to, it's not that that's the rules And finally Romans 12:9-10Conclusion When Jesus chose his first disciples they were not ready for what was about to happen If he can train teach and equip them and much of it was on the job training he can use anyone of us. It doesn't depend on our upbringing, training, level of education position in society. Jesus has a whole mix from the illiterate to the Doctor He can use anyone who truly believes and is willing to lay down their life for the sake of the Gospel.Available – Elevation Worship Questions 1. In what ways can our life reflect the new creation, the person we have been saved to be? 2. How can we demonstrate what discipleship is and looks like that makes it easy for others to believe 3. If we are to work out our service to God in the community of believer a. How do you think this best works? b. What are the benefits of doing it together? Are there any negatives? 4. When Paul tells us to really love and not fake it, what are the challenges to this, how do we overcome them?

Jesus Learned to be Obedient "Although He was a Son, He learned obedience" Hebrews 5:8God the Father and His Son, Jesus, have the original parent/child relationship. We can learn all we need to know about our relationship to God and a child's relationship to his parents through observing this heavenly relationship.Jesus “learned obedience” and was “made perfect.” He had no sin, but His will had to be tested in Gethsemane. The goal of the parent/child relationship is dual: to empower and to prove the obedience of the will (Mark 14:36). This is a public episode. Teaching NotesDoubt Created (3:1-4) Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming' he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:1-4Rebuttal (3:5-9) Everything has not stayed the same. (3:5-6) But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 2 Peter 3:5-6Everything will not stay the same (3:7) By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.2 Peter 3:7God works off a different timetable (3:8) But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.2 Peter 3:8God's “delay” offers time for more people to believe (3:9,15) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9New Testament Challenge:New: The Day of the Lord is coming (3:10-13) But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. 2 Peter 3:10Testament: We declare and believe Jesus will keep his promise Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.John 14:1-3Be merciful to those who doubt (Jude 22) Challenge: Live godly lives as we look forward to Jesus' coming Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? Matthew 5:1-3 (NLT) 1One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, 2and he began to teach them. 3“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. 4God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  5God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth. 6God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. 7God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. 9God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.  10God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. 11“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. 12Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

Born to Win Podcast - with Ronald L. Dart

Why does God hide himself? Why not come right out and reveal himself to man? If there is something he wants from us, why not say so? The answer is relatively simple. He did. Right there in your house, you have a Bible which contains the testimony of dozens of people down through the ages who have encountered God and lived to tell the tale.You have to also credit the stubbornness and obtuseness of men who really don’t want to know. They may say they would like to see God, but deep down inside, they don’t really. And then there is this. The very being of God, the existence of life, the actions of God and of men in the world create a very complex set of relationships that aren’t so easy to deal with. And that is why the Bible tries to keep it simple.He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?Micah 6:8God does not ask us to climb every mountain, ford every stream. He doesn’t require heroic efforts. He just requires a good life lived well. Okay then, you want to know, what is all the rest of this stuff about? Why all the laws, the ceremonies, the rules, these holidays you keep talking about?

Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:4-7Impress means to repeat or sharpen.The 5 Stages of a Walk:1. The Stroller Push is about NURTURE2. The Tether Walk is about RESTRAINT3. The Hike is about ADVENTURE4. The Forced Family Walk is about TIME5. The Stroll is about FRIENDSHIPThis is how we “sharpen” our children. Our goal through every stage is always love.How do we know what walk our kids most need right now? Our children need to grow on the GRIT SCALE. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”Hebrews 12:10-11 "Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he walking in the garden in the cool of the day,...” Genesis 3:8God wants to walk with you. Listen in as we continue through our journey of Ephesians and see Paul's encouragement to be attentive and walk in wisdom. Quotes from the sermon: The endless cycle of idea and action,
Endless invention, endless experiment,
Brings knowledge of motion, but not of stillness;
Knowledge of speech, but not of silence;
Knowledge of words, and ignorance of the Word.
All our knowledge brings us nearer to our ignorance,
All our ignorance brings us nearer to death,
But nearness to death no nearer to GOD.
Where is the Life we have lost in living?
Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?
The cycles of Heaven in twenty centuries
Bring us farther from GOD and nearer to the Dust. - TS EliotProverbs 15:1Proverbs 1:1-7Proverbs 3:5-6Proverbs 3:7-8James 1:5-8God wants us to seek him, draw near to him, believe in him, and what does he do? He rewards us. It pleases him. We get to have a relationship with him. It is to our benefit to know him and he's not hiding. - Trillia NewbellThe mind is the portal to the soul, and what you fill your mind with will shape the trajectory of your character… Ultimately, nothing in this life, apart from God, can satisfy our desires. Tragically, we continue to chase after our desires ad infinitum. The result? A chronic state of restlessness or, worse, angst, anger, anxiety, disillusionment, depression—all of which lead to a life of hurry, a life of busyness, overload, shopping, materialism, careerism, a life of more…which in turn makes us even more restless. And the cycle spirals out of control. - John Mark Comer"Gratitude is not only a response to God in good times - it's ultimately the very will of God in hard times. Gratitude isn't only a celebration when good things happen. It's a declaration that God is good no matter what happens.Being joyful isn't what makes you grateful. Being grateful is what makes you joyful." -Ann Voskamp

I love myself best when I am acting in alignment with the most honorable part of me.When I have a disagreement with someone, I have to believe that they are acting in accordance with their beliefs and the highest truth they know at the time. And I can always feel good about myself as long as I am doing the same.What happens if we are both being honest with what we know, and we still can’t see eye to eye? The inspired word that came to me this morning was ‘PRAY”God is honest. He and Jesus Christ have proven their trustworthiness. They were willing to write their words in stone and metal through the prophets, as a testament to their integrity. Then, having written, willing to fulfill the words that are written. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8God can be trusted. Why would we ever doubt when we receive and inspired shortcut from Him?When I am immovable as God is immovable, when every word that goes forth from my mouth is fulfilled, what peace and alignment comes to my soul. Others can trust me on my word alone. I am impeccable, perfect. This type of integrity inspires the highest form of confidence. Confidence before God and man, and most important the confidence I have in myself that my word is my bond.Today, I Give Myself Permission to Finish What I StartI am committedI commitI fulfill my commitmentsI AM a person of integrityJesus Christ is perfect, whole and complete. Made Alive with Christ 1Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. 4But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. 8God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Job 1:8God says the correct response to sin and evil is to shun it, to turn away from it. 6And God said, “Let there be an expansea between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.” 7So God made the expanse and separated the waters beneath it from the waters above. And it was so. 8God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Psalm 41John 13:12 - 2713th January 2019Neil AtwoodRegarding the weak - Psalm 41: 1-3Blessed is he who has regard for the weak.The Lord will protect him and preserve his life.Disregarding the weak - Psalm 41: 4-9Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one shared my bread, has turned against me. v9Trusting GodPsalm 41 - in light of JesusBut this is to fulfill the scripture: He who shares my bread has lifted up his heel against me. John 13: 18Implication for us…“Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.” 1 Corinthians 1:22“Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8God’s Grace… Made perfect in your weakness.

Today you'll discover that God Created you for a Personal Relationship with Him in love, and sent His Son to secure the Way for you to have an Eternal Relationship -Life with Him. John 14:6, Romans 5:8God came from heaven to earth, not to set up a religion but to have a personal relationship with you through his son Jesus Christ – God with you – Emmanuel.The LORD himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us'. Matthew 1:23, Isaiah ‭7:14‬ Many people know about Jesus, they don't know him personally. They even studied the Scriptures, because they think that in them both on eternal life. But these very Scripture speak about Him! Yet many are not willing to come to Him in Order to Have Life.‭‭John‬ ‭5:39-40‬ ‬Jesus says: I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved will live. He will come in and he will go out freely, and will find pasture. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His own life for the sheep. John ‭10:9-11‬ Life (physical and spiritual). Eternal Life (2222 /zōḗ), that is derived – i.e. it always only comes from and is sustained by God's self-existent life. The Lord intimately shares His gift of life with you, creating you in His image which gives you all the capacity to know His eternal life.For you who have accepted Christ, have been born again of the Spirit of God. You are now a new creation in Christ Jesus, the old is gone and the new has come. You died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3) is no longer you who lives, BUT CHRIST lives in you.All eternity is based on Who (Jesus Christ) you personally, not based on what you know (About Jesus),5 Simple Things to Know:1. Jesus coming was personal.2 Jesus paid a Personal Price.3. Jesus Is Your Personal Friend.4. Jesus Is Your Personal Redemption.5. Jesus Came to Have a Personal Intimate Relationship with You.Refocus and fix your eyes on the person of Jesus Christ who came in live and die-rose again for you personally, not the Works, Project or Process; BUT on Jesus your Best Friend, LORD and Savior. Who Made the Way When There Was No Way! Who gives you the Truth Whom Knew No Truth. Who gave His Life Personally to give you eternal life with Him, in a Intimate Personal Relationship with you.Jesus Came to Give You Life Personally, a New Life Hidden with Him in God. (Colossians 3:3)God is who has given you this New Life in Christ Jesus. You have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made your wisdom from God, revealing to you a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as our Righteousness, thus making you upright and putting you in right standing with God, and your Consecration, making you pure and holy, and your Redemption, providing your ransom from eternal penalty for sin. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:30‬‬The Word of God bears witness and Holy Spirit Testifies with Your Own Spirit That you are a child of the living God, and you have been made one with Christ Jesus.Your union with Christ is personal, real and intensely intimate. Living in Union with Christ is the essential truth of your new life and eternal existence. You are really and truly joined—spiritually and bodily—to the crucified, resurrected, incarnate person of Christ. There is Good News.Your union with Christ is central to the gospel, resonated in the Church throughout the ages. It is to be regarded with “the highest degree of importance.” You being joined to Jesus Christ is the Mystery of Christ, Christ in you the Hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:27) The design of God Revealed by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 3:5-6 the whole point of the gospel: “For this is the design of the gospel, that Christ may become yours, and that you may be ingrafted into his body.” Therefore if any person is ingrafted in Christ he is a new creation, a new creature altogether; the old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

God says to you: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (‭‭James‬ ‭1:5)‬ ‬The most important choice you can make every day, is to seek God's clarity and the Heart of God's Understanding for each decision you need to make.God's promise to you is that if you are deficient, lacking clarity and wanting an understanding heart, which is God's clarity – the ability to use the Gift of His Wisdom. Then all you have to simply do is ask God Who gives to everyone who ask Him liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding and Undestanding Heart. A clarity that comes with his peace the surpasses all understanding, that mount guard over your heart and mindThe soul harmony which comes from Christ rule act as umpire continually in your hearts deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state to which you as a member of Christ's Body were also called to live. Being Thankful And Appreciative for God Giving you the understanding heart you requested of Him. (James ‭1:5, ‬Colossians ‭3:15)‬ Look at King SolomonKing Solomon Requested a Discerning Heart to govern God's people and to discern or distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours? (1 Kings 3:9)Solomon was wise ask God for a discerning heart. This precious gift is essential for you, especially when you're making plans and decisions.So come boldly to God's Throne of Grace to receive the understanding heart that, He Knows you need. Yes, Matthew 6:8 tells thee God knows those things that you need even before you ask.So Come to God your Father BEFORE you Make Decisions, Who Knows What you Need even Before Asking, Trust Him to Provide His Best for you.-Mt 6:8God is drawing you to himself, to hear from him and to receive the wisdom that you need in each decision of life.Yes, God stirs you to recognize your need for His Help in All that you do. A Wise and Understanding Heart to Discern What you Should do in Every Area of Life; And God Enjoys giving you His Wisdom Liberally. (James 1:5)God's wisdom from above is first of all pure, undefiled; then it is peace-loving, courteous, considerate, gentle. It is willing to yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity. ‭‭(James‬ ‭3:17)‬‬Spiritual WisdomWhen you are among the full-grown-spiritually mature- Christians who are ripe in understanding, I do impart a higher wisdom, the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden; but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. But rather what I Am setting forth is a Wisdom of God once hidden from the human understanding, and now revealed to you by God–that wisdom which God devised and decreed before the ages for your glorification, to lift you into the glory of His Presence. (1 Corinthians ‭2:6-7‬)When your mind is distracted and hurried, you may forget to Seek God and Simply Dive Right into Your Tasking Activities. However, It Never Fails You Fall into a Obstacle at This Point; You Have To Decide Are You Going to Be Distracted by the Tyranny of the Urgent, which is a Trap of the Devil; OR Recognize your Need for God's Help In All you do. (Psalms 146:5-6)When you are Faced with an Important Decision: you have a Choice to Push Ahead or to Seek God's Insight, Instruction and Guidance.(Psalms 40:17)God is stirring your most holy emotions to come to Him He Knows You Need His Understanding and Clarity. So He Draws You to Himself to Enlighten Your Eyes of Your Understanding so That You Make No What Is the Right Thing and the Best Thing to Do in Every Decision of life.
