Target Market Insights: Multifamily Real Estate Marketing Tips
Scott Morse is a true disruptor and outsider to the Real Estate industry. Leveraging his sales acumen garnered from over 20 years in high ticket sales combined with a ruthless entrepreneurial appetite, Scott Morse has a story unlike any other. After leveraging his sales experience to become the COO of a multi-million-dollar vacation membership sales company Mr. Morse left this comfortable high-paying position of 10 years to pursue his own entrepreneurial journey. Scott applied this knowledge and scaled his new small marketing company into a 30MM+ annual revenue company within 5 years, earning the attention of Wall Street, lobbyist groups and politicians. After facing regulatory headwind, Mr. Morse chose to sunset this company and this led him to stumble into the REI space. Immediately upon investigating the REI space Mr. Morse identified various weak entry points, a fractured market place, and a substantial epidemic of under-qualified leads ruining the sales cycles of most REI companies. Thus, was birthed Lamassu Media, the industry's first Enterprise Level Call Center, located in beautiful Colombia South America. Starting a new company in a new country led to many great experiences including now employing over 200 people, dialing more than 2MM numbers a week, producing thousands of the best leads the industry has ever seen and simultaneously building his own REI portfolio and data company. Mr. Morse is a proud partner in multiple self storage facilities, and holds a sizable residential portfolio. In this episode, we talked to Scott about high-ticket sales and his sales principles and his approach, his organization and how he's scaling his business, his vision of the market today and what he anticipates from 2025, Novations, and much more. Quote #1 Since I got my first iPad, so very familiar with the world and, when I decided to open the virtual assistant company, I realized that that was one of the things that entrepreneurs were looking for, you know, like research podcasts in which they could guested. Quote #2 "I started with one entrepreneur that said, okay, you're new. Let me try you out and see how many, how many interviews you can get me in a month. Um, and she was expecting two or three, you know, and the very first month I got her eight interviews. Eight interviews. I I didn't expect that. Yeah. She was my first client and she didn't expect that. So she's like, how do you do this? Quote #3 "So I go and look for business podcast's that are out there, and I go ahead and read their descriptions and I highlight the ones that I need to listen to and I take the time to listen to one, or two different chapters, sometimes more, but I listen to and, my VA's do the same thing. They listen to the podcast. Don't do it all, we can help you with our group of professional Virtual Assistants. Hello once again everyone I'm your host Ray Shasho and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends. Founded in 1966, Canned Heat rose to fame because their knowledge and love of blues music was both wide and deep. Canned Heat attained three worldwide hits with their rock anthems “On The Road Again,” “Going Up The Country,” and “Let's Work Together.” They secured their niche in rock ‘n roll history with their performances at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and a headlining slot at the original Woodstock Festival in 1969. Now, more than fifty years later and with forty albums to their credit, Canned Heat is still going strong. They have been anchored throughout the past fifty-three years by the steady hand of drummer/band leader and historian, Adolfo “Fito” de la Parra. Fito has also written a book "LIVING THE BLUES" with his personal story and Canned Heat's, available on the band's website cannedheatmusic.com, Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com. As "Keeper of the Flame" he has remained the band leader, rhythmic and spiritual force behind Canned Heat's music for over four decades. Canned Heat remains committed to delighting their fans with creativity and musical energy as they continue to play “live” throughout the U.S. and around the world. Please welcome the legendary drummer for CANNED HEAT …ADOLFO “FITO” DE LA PARRA to Interviewing the Legends … PURCHASE LIVING THE BLUES By Fito De La Parra Join Fito de la Parra, producer and drummer of Canned Heat, for a wild ride in a world of Music, Drugs, Death, Sex and Survival in his autobiography” Living The Blues”. My guest today is Antony Malmo. Antony is a self described Wellbeing Smuggler, Jargon Cutter, Systems Wrangler, and C-suite Whisperer. He's a director at Allos Australia, an organisation that approaches workplace mental health systemically; from EAP support and Psych Health and Safety, to Leadership & Strategy. He studied ecosystem science and psychology at University, and then abandoned both those career paths to spend almost a decade working with businesses in Colombia (South America), in the late 2000s, as it emerged from the world's long-running civil war. Ever since, he's been trying to understand how communities build resilience, how businesses can flourish amid uncertainty, and what the future of mental health will look like. I like the way Antony thinks, how he connects the dots between ideas, and love how generous he is and really wanted to have a deep-dive conversation with him. Instead of keeping that to myself, I wanted you to be part of it too, so here it is, my chat with Antony Malmo:

What do we do now? Cross Country Coffee Roadshow Sun Prairie, Wisconsin 53590 We survived this season despite many obstacles. Unfortunately Covid prevented roundtrip travel, but we figured a way to interview some fantastic guests (hope you agree) virtually. We ran low on funds but with the help of a wonderful sponsor we were able to put together some amazing episodes, that hopefully did not show the behind the scenes financial and technical high wire act we were carrying out. So far this season we have covered not only US coffee issues but delved into the plight of some growers and coffee sustainability. We truly traveled around the world interviewing entrepreneurs, coffee experts, NFL Super bowl champions, former Coast guardsman, women and minority run coffee business. A coffee business (Aspire) supporting those with disabilities and world renowned authors. From both coasts, and Middle America to Colombia South America, and that fantastic "land down under" Melbourne Australia. We brought you stories that spanned these United States, learning more about coffee, production, sustainability, roasting, tasting and flavor profiles. We tackled a Colombian Revolution along with the differences of fair and direct trade, and why independent stores are so, so important to this ecosystem. We hope we educated you on how to look for not only the best tasting coffee, but what it takes to bring you this magic elixir! How do we maintain independence and sustainability in the coffee industry? Ok now its your turn! All that being said we now need your help, and want to hear from you if you are out there listening to our episodes and reading this. Did we keep you entertained, did you learn anything? Are we providing you with the kind of stories, guests and witty banter, that you need in order for us to keep going. As they say its the rubber meets the road time, and before we travel the next highway in our show and our lives we need to hear from you. Let me repeat WE NEED TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK! As you can imagine there is a tremendous amount of work that goes into each episode and if you want us to continue you will need to let us know. If this podcast has entertained or enlightened you with these episodes and stories from passionate, entertaining, and thought provoking guests, the time to let us know is now. Our first two seasons were all self funded, and we were fortunate to have a great company for the first half of this season. We are now actively trying to find a suitable replacement, and wrestling with the two minds approach. Do we stay or Do we go. Your answers will help us make that decision. We will respond to all who contact us,...so once again, send your comments to contact@crosscountrycoffeeroadshow.com and perhaps we will continue our journey with more stories, education, and our continued search for the best coffee not only in these United States but worldwide! Next week Quimbaya Colombian Coffee from Colombia and Wisconsin!! https://quimbayacoffee.com/ Thank you for all the support you have given us so far and remember to buy your next bag of coffee using our show specific discount codes, and as always .....drink what you like and like what you drink. — “It's often much easier to change “who we think we are” than it is to change the situation itself.” Valeria Teles interviews Peter Alessandria — the author of “Be Bigger Than You Think You Are! : Overcoming Our Self-Imposed Limits To Have The Life We Want” Born and raised in the New York City area, Peter attended college and law school in Upstate New York. After law school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an entertainment attorney. Today he is an author, speaker and teacher, as well as an award-winning, internationally published, fine art, portrait and commercial photographer. Working as an attorney in the entertainment industry sparked Peter's own creative interests and in early 2000, while still practicing law, he began experimenting with digital video production. He eventually took up filmmaking as a hobby, and wrote, produced and directed six short films. Everything was great until the end of 2008. That was the year the Global Financial Crisis hit, and within a matter of months Peter lost his law practice. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to revive it and soon came to a crossroads: what he was going to do with the rest of his life? After much deliberation, Peter decided to follow his heart and pursue his passion for photography full-time. So in 2009, he moved back to the East Coast and launched his photography business. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well at first. For almost three years, Peter struggled to get his new business going. More than once wondered if he had made the wrong choice. At first, it seemed like the economy was the problem. Then he thought it might be his lack of formal education in art or photography. Next he wondered if it was the competition from all the other photographers out there. At one point, he was even convinced it was because he didn't have the latest and greatest camera equipment. But it turned that out none of that was the problem. What was holding Peter back were his own limiting thoughts and beliefs about himself. He had a very negative self-image when it came to being a creative person and it was his own fear and self-doubt that were stopping him from moving forward. Peter fought hard for many months to overcome these obstacles. Using various techniques he was eventually able to shift his self-image and break through into a more empowered way of living. This is what his latest book is all about. The results speak for themselves: Peter went from someone who never won an award for anything in his entire life, to someone who has won more than 70 Awards for his photography. He went from a person who was terrified to show his work publicly, to someone who has had dozens of shows and exhibitions, and whose images have been published online and in newspapers and magazines around the world. And he went from someone who never dreamt it was possible to sell even one of photo, to a working artist who licenses images for commercial use and who has sold prints to Collectors as far away as Australia. In addition to being a freelance photographer, Peter is also an Official Photographer for Fireworks by Grucci®, one of the oldest and most well-respected fireworks performance companies in the world. For the past four years, he has traveled the globe photographing their pyrotechnics performances, including two trips to Dubai, the Maldives and various locations around the North America. He is also listed as an Official Participant on two of the company's Guinness World Records – how cool is that! As an artist, Peter sells framed, signed Limited Edition fine art prints of all his photos and also has two photography books: “New York Cityscapes” (2018 Amherst Media) which is a collaboration with six other top NYC photographers, as well as his own NYC-photobook, “New York City Nights – Book 1”(2017). Both are available on his website and Amazon. Perhaps most astonishing is that Peter achieved all this without any formal training in art or photography – he is completely self-taught! Yet, it wasn't until he overcame his own limiting thoughts and beliefs about himself that he was able to accomplish all these things. As he now knows, all the talent in the world won't help someone who doesn't believe in themselves. Today, Peter coaches, speaks and lectures on topics from “Be Bigger Than You Think You Are!®” He offers classes and weekly online workshops designed to help individuals and companies elevate their life and business to the next level. His passion for inspiring others has taken him as far as Colombia South America where he addressed more than 1,000 college students on the importance of pursuing our goals and dreams in life. He has given similar talks at Fordham University and to the Princeton Photography Club. To learn more about Peter Alessandria and his work please visit: https://www.bebiggertoday.com/ — This podcast is a quest for well-being, a quest for a meaningful life to the exploration of fundamental truths, enlightening ideas, insights on physical, mental, and spiritual health. The inspiration is Love. The aspiration is to awaken new ways of thinking that can lead us to a new way of being, being well.

Martinez is Co-Founder and Director of Sustainability at Green Loop, in Bogota, Colombia – South America where he brings his vast array of experience as a sustainability consultant, energy modeler, and commissioning agent. Esteban has worked on over 180 different projects located in Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador and EEUU. In Colombia there are very few companies that develop sustainable architecture in every sense of the word. Most of them are exclusively limited to bioclimatic development, which represents only a small branch of sustainability in buildings. At an industrial level, most of the companies that work on ERUs are limited only to the analysis at the energy level, without going into the design and layout of buildings, and therefore the correct use of natural resources. By integrating the energy branch, with the design and rational use of other resources, it is possible to maximize the reduction of operational costs and therefore greater competitiveness of its products both nationally and internationally. Show Highlights Building in Latin America and mandates that are pushing efficiency. The benefits of a dual degree in engineering and architectural for bigger impact. How a “fluke” started the whole green building movement in Colombia? Esteban's entrepreneurial journey to bringing LEED projects to Colombia. Energy simulations and bio climatic analysis throughout the world. A LEED gold rating system with less than 1% of extra costs. Materials that adapt to what the environment is bringing. The client looking at money is a good part of the sustainable equation. The impact Greenbuild has on your career. “Remember that sustainability is about people, planet, and profit. If the profit is not there, your client will probably do the project that you're pursuing, but he will never do it again. If it doesn't make economical sense, it's not sustainable.” -Esteban Martinez Esteban Martinez Transcript Esteban Martinez's Show Resource and Information The Green Studio Handbook LinkedIn Green Loop Connect with Charlie Cichetti and GBES Charlie on LinkedIn Green Building Educational Services GBES on Twitter Connect on LinkedIn Like on Facebook Google+ GBES Pinterest Pins GBES on Instagram GBES is excited our membership community is growing. Chef Jose Salazar was born in Colombia South America and was raised in Queens NY. Chef Salazar got his start in restaurants as a bartender and waiter at some of New York’s hottest establishments- among them, Donatella Arpia’s Bellini restaurant. Although the front of the house is where he started, it was the kitchen that really caught his eye. This prompted him to enroll in the culinary program at the New York Restaurant School. Upon graduating in 2001 he landed an internship with famed Chef Jean George Vongerichten at his namesake restaurant; Jean George. After completing the internship, he went on to work with some of New York’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, including Geoffrey Zacharian of Town, Josh De’ Chellis of Sumile, and Eric and Bruce Bromberg of Blue Ribbon. However, it was Jose’s four years working with Chef Thomas Keller that made the most palpable impression on his cooking philosophies. In 2003 Jose was hired as chef de partie to be a part of the opening staff of the highly acclaimed Per-Se restaurant. Then in 2006, he was instrumental in the opening of another of Chef Keller’s projects; Bouchon Bakery, where he became the Executive Sous-Chef. In 2008, Chef Salazar took his knowledge and experience to Cincinnati Ohio, where he was tapped to be the Executive Chef of The historical Cincinnatian Hotel and Palace restaurant. It’s there that Jose was able to hone his style of cooking, incorporating the ingredients and techniques of the Americas, Europe, and Japan. Since his arrival to the Queen City, Jose has received many favorable reviews, including 5 stars (the highest rating) from Polly Campbell of The Cincinnati Enquirer. He’s also garnered national attention- In 2011 Food and Wine magazine awarded him the title of people’s choice “Best New Chef”. In December of 2013 Chef Salazar and his wife Ann opened Salazar, their much-anticipated restaurant in the Over the Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. Immediately after opening it was clear that Salazar was going to be an instant hit. Their modern bistro is packed nightly with diners eating foods such as duck rillettes, fried oyster sliders, rib-eye steaks, and veal tongue al’a plancha. This little forty-five seater, while just around three years old is recognized as one of the best in the city by the dining public and critics alike. In August of 2015, Jose and Ann opened Mita’s, a 135 seat restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. This restaurant features the food and drinks of Spain and Latin America with a formal but laid back design. In just a year and a half Mita’s has already set it’s self apart with wonderful food, service, and ambiance. It has received praise from countless publications, both locally and nationally. Chef Salazar and Mita’s have received nominations for “Best Chef”, Great Lakes from the prestigious James Beard Foundation in 2016 and 2017. Chef Salazar is currently in the process of opening up a new eatery this summer (2019) called Goose and Elder.

Health At Every Size® counselor Melissa Carmona joins us to discuss how her Colombian roots shaped her relationship with food and body, the role of discrimination and food insecurity in triggering her disordered eating, how to set boundaries with people who are less receptive to the HAES message, how she’s helping her young daughter preserve her natural intuitive eating skills, and so much more! Plus, Christy answers a listener question about how to handle overeating after a period of food insecurity. Mobilizing A Nation To Fight Abortion In Colombia, South America - PODCAST #134 Topics We Cover On This Episode [1:19] Colombia, South America: An amazing pro life need [4:38] The dark business of abortion in Bogota, Colombia [8:10] 40 Days For Life begins in Bogota and how the Pro Life movement has grown [11:05] God’s hand in using 40 Days For Life to mobilizing the country of Colombia [13:10] Will abortion laws become more relaxed in Colombia in the future? [18:21] How baby showers are being used to combat feminist opposition [22:57] Support and interaction with Protestant and Catholic churches Abortion is an international issue, a crisis that touches cultures and people groups all over the globe. This episode features the efforts being made to fight abortion in Colombia, South America. In this episode, Robert Colquhoun and Katharine O’Brien speak with Pamela Delgado, a 40 Days For Life volunteer in Bogota who has spearheaded the efforts to fight the prolific and devastating effects of abortion in Colombia. Becoming Aware of the Spectre of Abortion in Colombia It was 2015 when Katharine O’Brien first visited Bogota, Colombia on a mission trip. She loved the people, the culture, and the beauty she encountered. One thing she didn’t expect to see was the pervasive influence of abortion in the capital city. One neighborhood in particular, was littered with over 70 abortion clinics, which broke her heart. She knew something had to be done. In this conversation, you’ll hear how 40 Days For Life campaigns are now active all over the city and how the local community is being mobilized. Organizing Vigils and Creating Awareness In the Community Colombian 40 Days For Life Director, Pamela Delgado points out how the majority of people in the country of Colombia are Catholic, which makes it all the more surprising that abortion in Colombia is so prevalent. Before she became aware of the widespread problem of abortion in her country she thought the people would be pro-life. But much to her surprise, many of the women in the capital city of Bogota were victims of the abortion industry already - and the abortion proponents were very active in seducing college-age women into their facilities. God’s Spirit began to stir her to prayer and then to action as she became the first 40 Days For Life Director for Colombia. The Opposition of Pro-Abortion Forces in Colombia is Aggressive and Real In this conversation, Pamela describes how feminist and pro-abortion groups have stood against the 40 Days For Life efforts she’s been leading. The outlandish and aggressive tactics they’ve employed show how desperate they are to hold on to the financial lifeline abortion is for them. In this conversation, Pamela describes the types of things pro-abortion supporters have done to come against the vigils she leads and how God has overcome every attempt to thwart their efforts. It’s an encouraging story you won’t want to miss. Listen now! Baby Showers Express Support and Hope For Mothers Considering Abortion The 40 Days For Life team in Bogota has found that many of the women who choose to terminate their pregnancies do so because they feel alone and without support. To combat those feelings and to demonstrate that these young mothers will not be alone, the team has hosted many baby showers for special moms who choose not to end their pregnancies. These baby showers show that there is a better alternative than abortion and celebrate the miracle of life that is happening in the wombs of these precious young women. Pamela Delgado explains the impact the baby showers are having in more detail, on this episode.
