Back by popular demand, we bring to you "Ask Arick Anything" on the A2Z program! We had so much fun last time that producer David Joaqui and myself are gonna answer ANY and ALL you've wanted to know, or don't. No rules! Does Dave believe in Aliens? Is Arick a member of the Illuminati? Is Dave secretly a classically trained violinist? Why does Arick wear ragged tank tops? Do Steve Farace and James Bunker really hang out all the time? All these questions and more. This week, the Consig wrote the lineup card, and it said THIS IS THE SHOW. The boys threw heaters, swung for the fences, and put a little mustard on it. It’s Dave, Carl and Neuby with the Final 4 & Baseball preview edition of the Cash Considerations Show.Listen as the boys ran it back for “Layin or Takin” for each of the Final 4 games this weekend. There’s Zags, Cougars and Bears, Oh My! Listen as Dave, Carl & Neuby give you their sides, totals and eventual champion. Oral may be gone, but the hoop talk rolls on with Dave on Dogs layin points, Carl on the wrong Bruins and young guy Neuby goin Cougar hunting. After the NCAA discussion, the trio does the Baseball preview part of the show. It’s Opening Day so there are season wins and division winner predictions. Does Dave really think the NL Central division leading Pirates can go over 58.5? Did Hascall say the Red Sox will be .500? Will Neuby mush the Phillies? The boys give you their hometown thoughts along with the six division winners like a 6-4-3 double play.Whether you like baseball or not, you can’t have a baseball discussion without talking about dogs. No, the Consig kids are still not getting a puppy (yet). Not underdogs, not Bulldogs, but hot dogs HERE.As the coordinating producer & grill guru of Cash Considerations, Carl went all Elite Eight in the “Leave it or Eat it” segment of hot dog condiments. Like a good pepper, it’s spicy, it’s sweet but there is no chili. Onions make you cry, and the boys might make you shed a tear after you hear this dog dissertation. The show went extra innings as the trio “Pulled the Goalie (NHL),” “Played The Song (NBA)“ and “Climbed the Mountain (Mt Rushmore).” You “Heard it Through the Grapevine”, you know “What’s Goin On” So “Let’s Get It On.”The Take a Minute segment is the Mariano Rivera of closers on the Cash Considerations show, and this week is back to back to back home runs. Neuby honed his craft with a beer, Carl told Jaws that he hears Jimmy and Dave gave a shout out to the Pap Pap Plays & the 20/20 Club.Sit back, listen in & laugh a little to this “Marvin Gaye tribute” episode of the Cash Considerations Final 4 & Baseball preview podcast. Welcome to Enjoy The Sass Podcast! What’s up guys! This week on the podcast I have my good friend, podcast partner, and engineer Josh Olson as a guest! He’s someone I look to for financial advice. On more than one occasion I’ve asked him, “What does Dave say?” or “Does Dave say yes?” to purchases or plans for my money. So, I figured since I’m still celebrating getting out of debt this year, we’d sit down for a chat on what being financially responsible looks like. We also talk about where he gained his financial wisdom and resources that have helped him, including Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. And because Josh is a super talented musician, we had to talk about his latest music ventures with Plainsmen Worship and Conifer. We also dive into music, movies, and what he's reading and listening to! This is an episode you might want to take some notes on while you listen because Josh drops some knowledge. I definitely learned a lot! Enjoy our conversation! I hope everyone is staying safe and finding moments of joy and positivity in this season! Please reach out if you have questions, thoughts, or if I can be praying for you! We've got some exciting stuff coming up, so be sure you're following along on socials, subscribe on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts, so you don't miss anything! How many Netflix shows can we mention in a single episode? Does Todd play a bard, druid, monk, or wizard? Does Dave play a barbarian, paladin, ranger, or sorcerer? It's a big rankings week here on Fantasy Football Today as we look at the Top 5 at each position. With QB, you really have to discuss the Top 6. Let's take a look at early ADP (2:33) and see how far ahead of the pack Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are before we take a quick detour with some news and notes (8:00). Can Curtis Samuel be a sleeper this season? ... Jackson or Mahomes (12:00)? Let's pick these guys apart and figure out what separates one from the other. Then we'll move on to the next four (23:50). How do we rank Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson? Why does Jamey have Watson as his QB3 even without DeAndre Hopkins? Why does Heath have Prescott in a tier ahead of the other three? Does Dave believe Murray has QB1 upside? ... We finish with some Fill in the Blank (41:30) to sum up our thoughts and to figure out which one of these six QBs we'd like to have lunch with. And what would we eat!? ... On this week's Ask Rob & Rob, Dave Cookson is back to answer more mortgage related questions. Mortgage broker Dave has appeared on The Property Podcast numerous times and most recently busted some of the most common mortgage myths in conjunction with the launch of Property Hub Mortgages. And today he's back to answer your mortgage related questions. The first question is from Rob (yes, another Rob!), who has two properties in his portfolio - both are based in London and have development potential. He's pretty confident that if he does these improvements, both the rental and resale value will increase. But how does he raise the initial funds to crack on with his plans? Both of his properties are on a standard 75% LTV mortgage and the lenders are not allowing any further advance. Does Dave know of anything Rob can do? The next question comes in from Hannah. Hannah runs her own business and has the choice of how much income to take in the form of dividends, whilst leaving the rest in the business to avoid paying more tax. She owns her home outright so doesn't have many outgoings. But she's heard somewhere that lenders want to see a minimum amount of personal income. With this in mind, Hannah wants to know how much she needs to start paying herself from her business to maximise her mortgage options? She's also been told that lenders don't count rental income as personal income. Is this True? Tune in to find out what Dave has to say... Do you have a buy to let or property investment related question for Rob & Rob? You could feature on the next episode by giving us a call on 013 808 00035 and leaving a message with your name and question (normal UK call rates apply). The Twenty Minute VC: Venture Capital | Startup Funding | The Pitch
Dave Sobota is the Vice President of Corporate Development @ Instacart, the company that delivers your groceries in as little as 1 hour. To date the company has raised over $1.9Bn in funding from some of the very best investors and operators including Mike Moritz @ Sequoia, Jeff Jordan @ a16z, Aaron Levie @ Box, Sam Altman, Garry Tan and more incredible names. As for Dave, prior to Instacart, he was Director of Corporate Development @ Google for over 10 years and before that was with leading law firm, Wilson Sonsini. In Today’s Episode You Will Learn: 1.) How Dave made his way from the world of law to Director of Corporate Development at Google to his position at Instacart today? 2.) In 2016, we had 513 BC backed exits, 499 were M&A, so how does Dave assess the M&A landscape today? Why id Dave bullish on the future M&A environment, at least for the next 12 months? Where are his concerns around M&A clustering? How does Dave view the entrance of large scale PE into the tech M&A arena? 3.) From leading Google's M&A practice, what have been Dave's core learnings on whether an entrepreneur should sell their company or remain independent? Paul Graham once said, "startups only talk to corp dev when they are doing really well or really badly". Does Dave agree? What are the reasons a startup would not speak to corp dev? What is the right way for them to communicate this while leaving the door open for future conversations? 4.) How does Dave operationalise the tracking of the startup market and determine what startups he wants to meet? How does Dave like to and think about working with the VC community here? What does that relationship building process look like? In those early meetings, what are the core questions that founders must ask? How much of a role does price play for Dave when considering an acquisition? 5.) How can founders ensure when they sell their company, that it will be properly integrated? What answers from the acquirer suggest it will or will not be? From countless M&A processes, what do the best integrations look like post-acquisition? Where are mistakes often made? Does Dave agree with Paul Graham in stating it is a "gruelling" process? Dave’s resume needs almost no introduction. A fellow podcast host, 2 times New York Times best-selling author, founder of Bulletproof, and the ultimate bio-hacker ninja, Dave has figured out the key to increasing your energy and finding happiness. Dave is committed to helping us get healthy through techniques many of us have never even heard of. Today Dave is explaining everything from the role mitochondria plays in our cells, to why you should be basing your diet around your great grandma, and how to feel fuller for longer with more energy. We all want to improve our bodies, whether you want to get smarter, happier, or faster at whatever it is you do in life. Dave has discovered the secret to becoming more successful, happier and healthier, and he is sharing it all with us on this episode. If you are ready to accept gratitude as the doorway to forgiveness and start having more energy to do the things you love while aging gracefully, you are going to want to hear what Dave has to say. Does Dave’s message of gratitude connect with your celebrations today? What makes the holidays so special for you and your family? Reach out and let me know in the comments on the episode page! Quotes: “I’ve lost 100 pounds, I got rid of the diseases of aging that hit me in my 20’s, and I am healthier and younger now at 46 than I was at 26 in every measure I can find” (9:53) “These are people who learned how to be happy. They did not do successful things that made them happy, they learned how to be happy because happiness is a lubricant for doing the things that matter to you” (13:44) “That extra exhaust that comes out of the system, it shows up as muffin top. It shows up as sore joints, etc. If you can make those mitochondria work better, magic things happen” (23:36) “We don’t all agree on food, but we all agree that if you don't eat what's right for you, then you are probably doing it wrong” (29:36) “Gratitude is the doorway to forgiveness. And forgiveness is not about telling someone you forgive them, forgiveness is when you stop carrying someone else's baggage” (38:34) Resources Mentioned: Game Changers by Dave Asprey The Complete Bulletproof Diet Roadmap Bullet Proof website Head Strong by Dave Asprey Bulletproof Radio with Dave Asprey Pre Order the Essential Oils Hormone Solution book and get $300 in Bonuses Other Resources: Check out the full show notes page Keep up with everything Dr. Mariza Follow Dr. Mariza on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Youtube

Yes, they are related. Our business-as-usual response to Hurricane Florence last month starts the conversation. (This episode was recorded before Hurricane Michael devastated the Florida panhandle.) Grace and Dave do also share some good news: climate change is getting more attention (of course the recent IPCC report has turned that volume up to 11, and we’ll discuss that in the next episode). Also in this episode: Does Dave need to shut up already about using condoms? How reliable are various forms of contraception? A challenge to the top environmental NGOs to start telling the truth about the unsustainability of economic growth. And a politician startles the world by quitting because his government isn’t doing enough about the climate. NOTE: Dave heard back from Final Straw about his problem getting the cleaning squeegie out of his straw. They informed him he had purchased a "bootleg" product made by someone else. The real Final Straw is scheduled to start deliveries in November. On this week’s very special episode of Shut Up and Watch This, differing viewpoints lead to one of our most interesting, and certainly longest, discussions. Dave’s pick is NAKED, a 1993 film by Mike Leigh, a favorite director of both Dave and Ashley. Does Dave accurately express what this film meant to a young man out in the world for the first time? Will Ashley be able to look past her visceral reaction to the violence to truly appreciate the manic magnetism of Johnny? Yes! No! Maybe?! Plus, discussions of Greek classics, modern anti-heroes, and the worst date movie of all time. Subscribe in iTunes, Android, or Spotify. Reza Asian addressed Independent Scientology on CNN Sunday to the dismay of many. He called many of his moments on that show "firsts" including telling the side of independents. I of course, started this interview Friday. That wasn't all he got wrong! I'll address it here! Also Dave addresses a disturbing passage in Dianetics that I and others consider to the basic ideaology that makes Scientology a Cult. He also addresses the idea of alternative religions to Scientology and in an awkward moment shows animosity towards Tony Ortega and Mike Rinder. Then 10 Questions. After the interview I'll give my overall assessment and a preview of what's coming up next for the show!! Is Reza correct in stating the difference between most religions and Scientology is one is older? Was LRH OK with pedophiles? Does Dave think I'm a bigot? Will my post interview words change his mind? Find out the answer to these questions and more on this Two day early Extra edition of Come Get Sum!!!
In this first part of our conversation, Dave talks about the changes in the "Church" from L Ron's time and into David Miscaviges time, how E-Meters supposedly work, Going external and much more! Also on the program: I'll address Kirstie Alley the "Non-Factor" star Stacey Francis inability to speak publicly regardless claims of unfair persecution in media, This Social Media presence attacking every one and any one in a desperate plea for attention and how the Clear Water City Council general Goverment and Police see the First Amendment differently than those more focused on Human Rights violations. Is the E-Meter really reading "thought mass"? Does Dave go "exterior"? Is Stacey Francis a fraud, or better yet is she famous enough for it to matter? The answers to these questions and more can be found right here on Come Get Sum!!!! @dk_lacroix http://scientolipedia.org
Listeners to this show know that I'm a big fan of house hacking as a great way to get into real estate investing. Many of our guests have begun their investment career by purchasing a multifamily property and living in one of the units while letting the rent income from the other unit(s) pay for their mortgage and expenses. In fact, I believe house hacking is one of the most sensible and lucrative ways to build a real estate portfolio, and have spoken with many guests who have proven this to be so. Apparently, Financial Advice Guru Dave Ramsey does not agree. In a recent advice column, Dave seems to advise one of his readers against purchasing a three unit and living in one side, while letting the income from the other two units pay for his mortgage and expenses. http://www.daveramsey.com/davesays/column/column/dave_Says_2016-11-07 Dave goes on to suggest the reader would be better off purchasing a nice, single-family home instead. Does Dave's advice really make sense? In order to answer this question, I've invited several of my past guests into the studio to debate the pro's & con's of his answer. Justin Workman (Episode 3) and Rob Minch (Episode 9) help me get to the bottom of Dave Ramsey's House Hacking advice, and the result is not what you would expect.

Dave gets real this time around. This week, Dave sat down, wrote notes, and began to record an episode covering Daredevil: Yellow #5. Then, something happened. Dave puts down the notes, and lays it all on the table, bringing Daredevil: Yellow to an abrupt ending with an off the cuff episode. Does Dave's rant reveal new nuances to the story, or does Dave angrily dismantle Daredevil: Yellow? Probably the latter... well, definitely the latter. The show is available through iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/two-true-freaks-presents-daves/id1023227055?mt=2) Or, listen through Stitcher (https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/daves-daredevil-podcast)
