This episode explores the intersection of human creativity and AI technology. Filmmakers Jonathan Keasey and Justin MacGregor who are partnering with Phil Egger of J4 on a slate of films assisted by cutting edge AI technology. Entitled Hum.AI.ne Entertainment, their new initiative is focused on the ethical use of AI in the creative process and reflects Jonathan's journey from 'intentional Luddite' to a champion of the technology and its potential to support human powered creativity. In this conversation, Jonathan and Justin describe their journey and their vision for using the new tools. Describing what the tools can - and importantly cannot yet - do , they outline how they will be working with it on a slate of commercial animated feature films, starting with the legend of GELART. Meanwhile, Phil Egger describes more about the technology and how the process works in practice. More About Jonathan, Justin and Phillip Jonathan Keasey is the founder of Mindriot Entertainment and an acclaimed screenwriter, producer, story hunter and proud member of the Writers Guild of America. He has been hired to write films for studios and streamers from Hollywood to Canada, France to China, Central America to Africa, and now beneath the Oceans. As a descendant of Anne Hutchinson, credited by The Smithsonian as North America's first Feminist and banished for heresy, to the descendant of a Presidential Speechwriter and whistleblower, to the proud grandson of a woman who set speed-records as a typist for a grocery chain, Jonathan does his best to follow in their footsteps and relay heartfelt stories that will have a positive impact. But most important of all, he just wants to make his family and friends proud before he becomes nutrients for an apple orchard. Dr. Justin MacGregor is Founder and Head of Transatlantic Content for Mindriot as well as the Head of Film at Trinity College, Dublin. His first feature film, “The Vigil (for Kurt Cobain)” screened at film festivals from Vancouver to Mumbai and was released by Vanguard Int'l and played on television sets worldwide after its theatrical run. When I interview junior military officers (JMOs) to determine their fit with the Cameron-Brooks program, I ask them to describe their leadership style. They often label their style as “I am a servant leader.” When I help the officers in our program prepare answers to the question, “What is your leadership style, or similarly, how do you build a team?” I hear much of the same, such as, “I use a servant leadership style approach.” When I hear JMOs describe what they mean, I wonder if they genuinely understand servant leadership. To help gain clarification, I interviewed Dr. Michael Carey, a professor at Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies who was the first director of the Organizational Leadership program in 1987 to be a guest on the show. Dr. Carey is the coordinator for the Master in Servant Leadership program and teaches several classes. Gonzaga University is recognized as one of the leading institutions in Servant Leadership. I am currently a graduate student in the Gonzaga Master's of Organizational Leadership and have taken two classes in the Servant Leadership concentration, one of them with Dr. Carey and another with Larry Spears, the founder of the Spears Center for Servant-Leadership and former longtime President and CEO (1990-2007) of The Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant-Leadership. My conversation with Dr. Carey aims to easily define and explain Servant Leadership and how we can all be Servant Leaders at work, at home, and in other organizations. In addition to Servant Leadership, we also cover Transformational Leadership, which is related. The conversation is not academic at all and is highly applicable to military officers still serving, those preparing for the transition, and the Cameron-Brooks Alumni listeners as well. Listen and learn more about servant leadership and the JMO. To learn more about Servant Leadership, Dr. Carey recommended the topics listed below. Robert Greenleaf is considered the founder of the Servant Leadership concept. He wrote the essay “The Servant as Leader” in 1970. The institute he started on Servant Leadership is now based at Seton Hall University. You can find numerous resources and articles on Servant Leadership at the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership at https://www.greenleaf.org/. He also referenced the Spears Center for Servant-Leadership, which I had described previously. Both of these websites have blogs and book recommendations. Here is my favorite Robert Greenleaf quote that I try to follow each day, “The servant-leader is servant first, it begins with a natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first, as opposed to, wanting power, influence, fame, or wealth.” Thank you for listening to the Cameron-Brooks podcast! As you consider your potential transition from the military to the business world, if you'd like to discuss your marketability or how Cameron-Brooks can guide you to launch your career, please contact us directly. Schedule a call here. Cameron-Brooks has a 50-year track record of guiding military officers to create a step-by-step plan to learn about their options, connect their military experiences directly to opportunities in corporate America, craft a resume that will stand out to hiring managers, and ultimately launch a successful business career.

Kelly and Beth speak our truth each week on Strange Country and it feels so good. It may take us a while, meandering through details of our lives as mothers, women in our 40s, and librarians, but we get there eventually, dear Dashhounds. Thanks for listening and supporting that journey each week. This week we give honor to the podcast space that let’s us speak our truth and wish singer and actress Eartha Kitt, could have had her own podcast. Instead she had to eat clam bisque with the fancy-pants Doers of the White House, and then speak her mind about Vietnam and the real reason behind crime in America. And then watch her career flounder for years thanks to CIA gossip gatherers, and racists. Marks begins by explaining how technology companies derive "emergent medical data" from traces of information created by and about consumers, and how emergent medical data differs from traditional medical data. My first guest on the Tami Jackson Show* tonight will be Kate Anderson. Kate Anderson serves as legal counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, where she is a key member of the Center for Conscience Initiatives. Since joining ADF in 2015, Anderson has focused on protecting the conscience rights of individuals being unjustly compelled to forfeit their beliefs under threat of government retaliation, heavy fines, or other punishment. In Country Mill Farms v. City of East Lansing, she has defended the constitutionally protected right of a farmer to express his beliefs without fear of losing his license to serve customers at the city's farmer's market. In 303 Creative v. Elenis and Amy Lynn Photography Studio v. City of Madison, Anderson has counseled creative professionals in pre-enforcement challenges to laws that would force them to promote messages contradicting their core beliefs. Her litigation practice has also included Privacy Matters v. United States Department of Education, one of several ADF challenges to the Obama-era federal mandate that denied students, parents, and community members the fundamental right to bodily privacy. Prior to joining ADF, Anderson was an associate attorney with Ellis, Li & McKinstry, PLLC, in Seattle, where she litigated both civil and criminal cases. She served on the trial team in Stormans v. Wiesman, a pivotal case in defense of freedom of conscience for pharmacists in the state of Washington. She also advised churches, religious organizations, and private schools on employment, church discipline, statutory and regulatory compliance, and other issues. Anderson obtained her law degree magna cum laude in 2009 from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she served on the Gonzaga Law Review. She also completed the ADF leadership development program to become a Blackstone Fellow. Anderson is admitted to the state bars of Arizona and Washington, the U.S. Supreme Court, and several federal district and appellate courts. Kate and I will be talking about two young artists Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski are fighting for their rights in the Arizona Court of Appeals. The current ordinance forces the artists to create content for same-sex weddings, which is against their religion. The longer they stand by their religion, the longer they extend their time behind bars. Their hearing today will determine whether the women can go back to their business or towards a jail cell. Read about the case, "What Happens in a State Court Doesn't Stay in a State Court. Filing a lawsuit was not on Breanna Koski and Joanna Duka's checklist when they began making preparations to open their own custom art studio, Brush & Nib. But facing jail time for running that business according to their faith was not really something they anticipated, either. You know when I have an ADF lawyer "in the house" we'll be talking precedent-setting law that should be important to all conservatives and Christians! ********************** My guest in the sceond half hour will be Joy Overbeck. Joy Overbeck is a Colorado journalist and author who has written on lifestyle and relationship topics for Redbook, Reader's Digest, TV Guide, Woman's Day, Health, and other national and regional magazines. She's also written two humor books published by Pocket Books, Simon&Schuster. She describes herself as a radical conservative God fan who has delighted for the last several years in annoying libs with columns at Townhall.com, The Washington Times, The Daily Caller, American Thinker, and elsewhere. Other favorite forms of recreation include riding her Rocky Mountain mare, Gypsy, out into the wide open spaces of beautiful Colorado, skiing Vail, and enjoying her friends and her golden tabby, Tigger. Joy and I will be covering her recent column, "Are Teachers More Dangerous Than Mass Murderers?" as well as other current news topics. Joy is a woman after my own heart and has a passion for our nation and turning our culture away from Progressive socialism. Yes she has spunk! Which means you won't want to miss this conversation!
