Mike Missimer principal and owner of MGI Mechanical has almost 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, he has used his engineering background and love of learning to question the rules of thumb that are interwoven into the HVAC world. He has learned firsthand that you get what you inspect not what you expect, and therefore has helped develop and promote sound repeatable commissioning practices that have been codified within jurisdictions of Northern Colorado. Mike also understands the need for integrated sound building science within our homes, that the HVAC system will not work if the buildings thermal envelope does not work.  He Started a separate HVAC design company to ensure that the projects he works on don't silo HVAC design and installation, but rather they work synergistically to create comfort and performance. The island of Tasmania can be found south of Australia seperated by a 240 kilometer stretch of water called the Bass Strait. We know Australia has many soaring clubs throughout the country and we have spoke to some of those pilots here on the podcast but I was curious if Tasmania had any active soaring clubs? We found one, in fact its the only one on the island and their we found our new friend and fellow aviator Robert Kennedy. Robert got the aviation bug from His Father who was a World War II Pilot. As a young boy he enjoyed flying RC aircraft but later he discovered sailplanes. Robert has been soaring for nearly 50 years. He Started his gliding training flying the K-13 then the Libelle. He said he also did lots of towing because tow pilots fly for free.  Robert has has enjoyed many differnt typs of aviation jobs throughout his life and spent 10 years of it as an Air Traffic controller, working in the morning allowed for flying time in the afternoon. He spent some of his time as a Civil Aviation inspector, ran a helicopter school and has flown everything from light sport aircraft, war birds, 737's and so much more. Robert has so many stories to share with us.  We will also get into saftey with him so we all can learn from his experiences and be better and safer pilots. He holds the American FAA, British and Australian Airline Pilot licences.

Our first premiere of the week comes from Bangor born, and now Auckland based, DJ Koncept. The New Zealand based producer has supplied a blissful liquid drum and bass symphony, touching off golden age jungle memories and knitting them with future concepts. Originally from Bangor Co Down, and now based in Auckland NZ, DJ Koncept has been a DJ for around 20 years. He Started off his musical journey with hip hop, and then moved onto producing Drum & Bass, and more recently Breakbeat Hardcore. Koncept veers towards music that is more mellow and melodious, and he's partial to head-nodding breakbeats and pounding bass. Artists like as A Sides and Kool Keith have appeared on DJ Koncept's releases, and Koncept has won many competitive DJ battle's as turntablist. Koncept has clearly not shy'd away from releasing and competing and has has garnered several accolades over the years. Aside from becoming the 2018 UK DMC Champion, he regularly combines turntablism aspects into his live DJ performances and music productions. DJ Koncept has two projects due for release on the well-known labels Kniteforce and Remix Records, as well as co-running two labels with his brother Adam aka Albert Wesker. ‘Vinyl Combat' is the main label the pair run which is now dedicated to DnB, as well as the more recently established ‘Knife Skills' label with a focus on alternative forms of breakbeat music. They're now up to their 17th release with more forthcoming material inbound. Koncept has put together a six minute masterpiece that is soulful and funky yet melodic and euphoric. Vocal swells are met with warm fluffy pads that drift around the mix like a white cloud on a sunny day. Reverb tails and vocal screeches create tension for unique and sublime elated moments. This seems like somewhat of a throwback to late 90's and early 00's jungle jubilant memories but Koncept has managed to carve out an idiosyncratic 2022 interoperation that remains unique yet reflective. Today my special guest is my chiropractor, Dr. Logan Spangler. For quite some time, I had back issues. Given that I will do what I can to avoid surgery if possible, finding a good chiropractor was super important.. After doing an MRI and discovering I had degenerative disc disease, I knew I had to get serious about getting out of pain. So my wonderful husband did some research and found Dr. Spangler. Right away I knew was in good hands as he asked me TON of questions to get my history as well as my current situation down. Since I started going to Dr. Spangler, I have not thrown my back out and I have gotten stronger in my workouts. I now go to him monthly just to make sure everything is in order. Dr. Spanlger is a certified clinical chiropractic neurologist. And is also Titleist Performance Institute certified.He completed his undergraduate at Kansas State University Studying biology and life sciences. He then went on to Receive his Doctorate from Parker University in Dallas. He Started his own practice 6 years ago right out of School, working with athletes and rotational sports. Dr Spangler uses his knowledge of neurology and biomechanics to help as many people as he can achieve their goals whether that means playing their best round of golf or being able to pick up their kids. As a matter of fact, the revelation to you is so BIG, you are questioning as to whether it is really G-d. You also are concerned as to what others . . . even believers in Messiah . . . will think of you if you obey. If you want to be greatly used by G-d, you will have to always . . . each time . . . be willing to take a STEP, or make a MOVE, of faith. It will NOT be walking out on a limb (of a tree) by faith and then sawing off the limb. However, it WILL be sawing the limb off first, and then walking out by faith. Noah sawed the limb off when he STARTED building the Ark. Thus did Noah; according to all that G-d commanded him, so did he. (Torah: Genesis 6:22) Notice that Noah obeyed G-d in ALL the things in which he was instructed by G-d. Noah STARTED BY building the Ark, and he and his family were probably laughed at and scorned for 120 years. What he did probably seemed crazy in the eyes of the community. Abraham left his fathers wealth and the false gods and idols of his people to follow the True G-d that his relatives and friends could NOT see. (Torah: Genesis 12:1 ASV) Concerning WHAT has G-d been speaking to YOU? Whatever it is, you may have to be willing to accommodate the embarrassment of faith. That is, you may have to adapt to, or fit in with, self-consciousness, uncomfortableness, and uneasiness. You may have people look down upon you with pity or shame. If you dont allow yourself to walk in the Spirit, you may even feel awkward; especially if you allow yourself to objectively look at the situation in the natural. During Abrahams walk of faith, after he had STARTED, at one point G-d promised to give him a son and then descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the sea shore.  "Who against hope (Abraham) believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken (by G-d): So shall your descendants be." (Brit Chadashah: Romans 4:18) "And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarahs womb." (Verse 19) Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born. "He staggered not at the promise of G-d through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to G-d; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform." (Verse 20) WHAT HAS G-D PROMISED YOU? WHAT STEP OR MOVE HAS G-D REQUIRED OF YOU? WHAT IS THE EMBARRASSMENT OF FAITH YOU MAY PROBABLY ENCOUNTER? I have a word for you from G-d. After you START in this faith endeavor which G-d has promised to perform, you will not care what people think about you. You will be so overwhelmed with JOY and the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit that you are oblivious to what people . . . even some followers of Messiah Yeshua . . . think or say. If G-d is going to do the work through you by HIS GRACE, it is going to have to be by YOUR FAITH. You will have to BELIEVE and START: take the action, make the move! If you really believe G-d CAN and WILL do what He has told you, then be willing to encounter the embarrassment of faith. G-d told Abraham: "I have made you a father of many nations, before whom Abraham believed, even G-d, who makes alive the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were (already)." -- Verse 17 If you are involved in a project or endeavor where others have joined you, G-d will be good to at times give you encouragement, even FAITH LEADING, through them. Do NOT discount the advice of others who are with you in the faith project the LORD has assigned you. The only time you should NOT listen is when you definitely know what God wants you to do at that stage of the game, and other advice is conflicting. This requires you to follow your spirit, the voice of your inner man. If you do NOT KNOW it is G-d, then dont do it. I promised G-d at a particular juncture in my life and ministry that I would never do anything that I wasnt sure He wanted me to do. Study the BLOG titled, If Youre Not Sure ... Dont! Also, study these resources: “Follow Your Heart – Part 1” “Follow Your Heart – Part 2” “Follow Your Heart – Part 3” Recently I prayed for a lady to conceive. When I prayed, the power of G-d came upon me. There was NO doubt; the anointing of the Spirit was so strong upon me that I could feel it in my arms. His presence was intense. I have prayed for several barren women to conceive who conceived in 30 days. G-d knows how to fulfill His promises without our help. We just need to use our faith. Sarah, after many years of being barren suggested to Abraham that he lay with her maidservant, Hagar, and that way they could have a child. In other words, she thought they could help G-d keep His word, or promise, to Abraham! G-d doesnt need help in keeping His Word. If He promised you something, then just do what He told you: obey in faith. However, notice that about 14 years later, it was Sarahs faith that brought about her MIRACLE CONCEPTION of Isaac. "Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed (at the age of 90), and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him (Abraham, age 100) as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable."  (Brit Chadashah: Hebrew 11:11-12) In Hebrews 11:11, when the scripture says, "Through faith also Sarah, herself ..." The Greek word for "herself" implies "something remarkable: that Sarah would manifest this faith." She had laughed years before at even the suggestion by Abraham of G-d's promise through a divine visitation. (Genesis 18:1-15) But now, years later, she had grown in her trust in G-d, probably through living with Abraham. Abraham was now 100 and Sarah was 90. (Genesis 17:17 and 18:11) Even though Sarah influenced Abraham to make a bad decision 14 years earlier to try to help G-d in the FLESH (Brit Chadashah: Galatians 4:23) with the subsequent birth of Ishmael, she later through FAITH was the instrument God used to bring about the PROMISE of the child Isaac! And, with the result of not only millions of descendants of Abraham, but the establishment of the seed line through which Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) would come to earth through a MIRACLE VIRGIN BIRTH 2,100 years later. Your obedience to the promise of G-d, exercised through your START - your step of faith and subsequent walk of faith - even though making you an exhibition to the world ... and the resulting EMBARRASSMENT of faith ... will result in the PROMISE of God being performed to bless YOU, your descendants, and the nations of the world. Die to the embarrassment of faith and bring resurrection LIFE to you, your family, your associates, and the world.
