Feel sorry for Mark. He's just there. Also NEW BOX!!!!! Valkyries, Triamid, and Karakuri support!!

Barney Wragg, co-founder and CEO of robotics firm Karakuri (http://karakuri.com/) talks to Business Matters managing editor Richard Alvin about how his company is bringing the fourth industrial revolution to the food-to-go industry. Barney talks about how food retailers and restaurants are having to rethink how technology can be deployed alongside the chefs and staff to help and give reassurance to customers of minimal human contact with their meals. At the same time, the old problems of the food industry won't have gone so things like food waste in the industry are still as prevalent as ever.
This episode is the second part of the Beyond Konoha mini series; in this mini-sode, I look at another one of Masashi Kishimoto’s terminated serializations, (which was published as a one-shot manga in May 2013 in Jump Square Magazine) Mario. Within this episode, I focus on how Kishimoto’s work managed to evolve (post-Karakuri), how Mario is made for an exciting reading experience, why I believe this manga was a missed opportunity for a seinen magazine and more. This podcast episode, as well as this mini-series, in no way represents Masashi Kishimoto – these are all my thoughts & opinions of his work.Follow me on Twitter @GetInTheMecha for updates on the show!Visit getinthemecha.home.blog to check the relevant links / show notes / further information for the podcast.Questions, corrections, complaints: getinthemecha@gmail.comMUSIC IN THIS PRODUCTION:8Bit Title Screen by JothMandatory Overtime by Joth“Anomaly”Eric Matyaswww.soundimage.org (Edited for length)
This episode is the beginning of a three-part mini-series, looking at three one-shot manga (Karakuri, Mario & Bench) by none other than the legendary mangaka, Masashi Kishimoto. Throughout the series, I will be trying to uncover what these manga demonstrate about Kishimoto's development as a writer and artist, as well as the value that comes from understanding / analysing his creative process. In this episode in particular, I look at Karakuri (1995); I discuss why I believe this is a 'forgotten' battle-shounen manga, what the manga represents for the sub-genre and why inspiration is so valuable for creatives (as proven by Kishimoto). This podcast episode, as well as this mini-series, in no way represents Masashi Kishimoto - these are all my thoughts & opinions of his work.Follow me on Twitter @GetInTheMecha for updates on the show!Visit getinthemecha.home.blog to check the relevant links / show notes / further information for the podcast.Questions, corrections, complaints: getinthemecha@gmail.comMUSIC IN THIS PRODUCTION:8Bit Title Screen by JothMandatory Overtime by Joth

Kat, Leo and Bcom are back this week to discuss week 9 of the Fall 2018 anime season. We start off with a nonsense section, in which we talked a lot about various video games we’re playing. Even Kat is playing games now! This week, the girls in twilight saw the truth of Seriouska’s world, and we got a not-so-unexpected reveal of the true identity of The King of Twilight. Kat observes that Golden Kamuy is now pandering to its yaoi fanbase, and the dick jokes have returned in the form of mushroom sight gags. Kat breaks down the latest episode of “As the Wind Turns,” which brought Leo to tears! Also, Kat finds yet another way to compare an anime to Naruto, calling Kakeru this show’s Sasuke. Kat is furious that the typical blonde-ass foreigner has been introduced to the Rascal’s ever-growing harem, but Bcom and Leo just can’t wait for him to have sex with his girlfriend in her sister’s body. Leo also feels a better harem show would focus on Mai’s father’s apparent golden idol touch. Banana Fish has gotten so convoluted that we can’t keep track of all the Harlem Chickens and Killer Bees, and just want it all to make sense. Leo loses his mind over his new Zombie Land waifu, Saki’s delinquent friend Reiko, as he loves a well-tamed shrew. All you need to know about Karakuri Circus is that it’s pronounced GUY, not GUY. Since that’s cleared up, we move onto the episode of Bloom Into You where it gets dangerously close to just being the next Citrus.Recorded December 13, 2018. CEO of Invest Diva and author of “Invest Diva's Guide to Making Money in Forex” published by McGraw-Hill in August 2013, Kiana is a multilingual forex analyst, award-winning speaker, TV personality and entrepreneur based in New York. She holds two degrees in Electrical Engineering from universities in Japan. Born and raised in Iran to a Jewish family as a religious minority, she was awarded a scholarship from the Japanese government to study EE in Japan, where she became a minority once again; the only girl and the only foreigner in her class. That is when she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to empowering minorities, specifically women, in male dominated industries. Kiana made her first foray into the media as a television commentator on popular Japanese shows including TBS's Karakuri, Fuji TV's ii-tomo, and NHK's Generation Y. While in Japan, Kiana discovered that women in Japan were making a fortune trading currencies on the foreign exchange market, or forex. She spent years studying the habits of investors and discovered that women frequently make smarter, wiser and less-risky investment choices than their male counterparts. This is precisely why she found InvestDiva.com the women's guide to smart, safe, and profitable trading. A true global citizen, Kiana has risen to be a leader and public figure in every place she has lived. She has been recognized in Japan as a media figure and lecturer, conducting lectures on the Middle Eastern issues in various universities around Japan, and discussing Japanese social issues on TV.
