California voters head to the polls today in a statewide primary election. Kevin Rector of the Los Angeles Times joins to discuss the biggest races. It was a consequential day for the country’s leading AI companies. Anthropic filed for an initial public offering, the Wall Street Journal reports. Meanwhile, NPR reports that the state of Florida sued OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, over safety concerns. The Supreme Court will soon rule in two significant cases that could have major implications for November’s midterm elections. Jan Wolfe of Reuters explains what’s at stake in each of the decisions. Plus, why the White House could soon drop the DOJ “anti-weaponization” fund, Hezbollah and Israel agreed to a partial ceasefire, and why the white picket fence is disappearing from American yards. Today’s episode was hosted by Gideon Resnick.

Trump is setting up a $1.7 billion fund to compensate “victims” of President Biden’s so-called “lawfare,” including folks convicted of crimes related to January 6th. Jon Herold and Chris Paul open the Saturday show with Trump's "I don't care about the midterms" clip still rattling through the community and immediately connect it to Trump's statement that the Great Big Beautiful Bill put four years of legislation into one bill because congress is ineffective and Trump already got everything he needed. Chris Paul delivers a full argument: if you pass everything in one bill and you don't care about the midterms, the logical conclusion is that Trump never trusted congress and never intended to rely on it. The Atlantic's "Trump might already be a lame duck" article gets a thorough dissection as pure narrative seeding, with the guys noting that the outlet is simultaneously running Trump collapse and Trump dominance stories in the same news cycle because they genuinely do not know what the results will be. The NDAA Section 224 US/Israel defense cooperation provision gets a fair reading, with Jon pushing back on the viral "full merger" framing and arguing it is disclosure of an already existing relationship. The Ken Paxton Texas win raises the age of Trump vs. age of Trumpism question. The aliens.gov rug pull, the summer ICE protest cycle, CIA gold bars, Fort Knox, and Polymarket as a measurement of narrative consumption round out the show.

President Trump doesn't seem to care that much about winning the midterms. He's more unpopular at this point in his second term than basically any of his modern predecessors. Democrats seem poised to retake the House and have a real chance of retaking the Senate. You might expect a president in that position to pivot to the center, to focus on voters' top concerns and try to boost the strongest Republicans in key races. Trump isn't doing any of that. Instead, he announced a $1.8 billion slush fund to pay out “victims of lawfare,” he threatened to re-escalate the Iran war, and he intervened in Republican primaries in ways that are gifts to Democrats, like endorsing the scandal-plagued Ken Paxton over the incumbent, John Cornyn, in Texas' Senate race. Why doesn't Trump seem to care more about winning? Liam Donovan is a Republican strategist and a president at Targeted Victory, a Washington public affairs and digital marketing firm. He has worked on the National Republican Senatorial Committee and for Cornyn. In this conversation, we discuss the moves Trump is making, the rough political environment for Republicans and what the paths to Democratic victories look like. As the Supreme Court prepares for a flurry of major opinions in June, legal experts are closely watching high-stakes cases that could reshape executive power, civil rights, and constitutional law. Shannon Bream, FOX News chief legal analyst and Fox News Sunday anchor, joins to discuss upcoming decisions on birthright citizenship, the President's authority to fire federal agency officials, and state bans on transgender athletes. Later, she unpacks the ongoing legal battle over Alabama's congressional maps and why conservative justices are signaling they have no plans to retire. President Trump has pledged broader transparency, even when it comes to declassifying UAP files—or as many of us know them, UFOs. Twice this month, the Trump administration began unsealing United States UFO files officially known as the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters or PURSUE. The files reveal images and other documents related to investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena. However, the unprecedented release still has many believers questioning the data, creating more questions than answers. Ryan Graves is a former Navy F-18 pilot and co-founder of Americans for Safe Aerospace, who testified before Congress back in 2023 about his encounters with UAPs. Graves joins FOX News' Peter Doocy to discuss the recent release of "UFO documents," what he has learned from them, and what can be done by the government to shed more light on the mystery. On episode 133 of Native Land Pod, hosts Angela Rye, Andrew Gillum, and Bakari Sellers ask: if Democrats get the majority after this year’s midterms, then what? We’ve seen Democrats win the senate, the house, and the presidency––and they still couldn’t protect the right to vote (or get an abortion) from future Republican administrations. In this midterms, what will we get for our vote? We need an agenda. Folks are saying that Texas senate candidate James Talarico has the best chance to flip a Texas senate seat blue in decades, with his opponent, Ken Paxton, covered in scandals. Our hosts are less optimistic and have some advice for Mr. Talarico… FOR YOUR SITUATIONAL AWARENESS: Some good news in the ongoing redistricting wars in South Carolina & Alabama, where proposed maps benefiting Republicans have been blocked. Meanwhile, in Florida, a new electoral map moves forward… GA State Senator Rashaun Kemp has called on Georgians to protest redistricting in Georgia at the World Cup game. STAY UPDATED by following Sen. Kemp: https://www.instagram.com/rashaunforgeorgia/?hl=en The Supreme Court has allowed coach Brian Flores to sue the NFL for discriminating against Black coaches. Mike Duggan has dropped out of the Michigan governor race. The independent candidate and former Detroit Mayor said he “got into this race to change our politics, not to be a spoiler.” Texas congressman Al Green has lost his primary race to fellow Democratic congressman Christian Menefee, after Texas’ redistricting combined his and Menefee’s districts into one. “I don't care about the midterms,” Donald Trump admitted during a monologue about his Iran war. In addition to candidly declaring that he doesn't care that his policies are badly imperiling his GOP colleagues, Trump also suggested that the GOP nomination of MAGA whackjob Ken Paxton in Texas—which Trump engineered—was a major accomplishment. This accidentally showed that Trump is still under the delusion that he and MAGA are popular. Yet this comes as The New York Times reports that Republicans are freshly “alarmed,” with some admitting that Trump is putting them in severe danger. We talked to New Republic contributing editor Felipe De La Hoz, who's been arguing that Trump's historic unpopularity gives Democrats new openings. We discuss how Texas is now winnable for Democrats, why Republicans are accepting Trump's destruction of their midterm hopes, and what Democrats can do to capitalize on Trump's travails.  Looking for More from the DSR Network? The power of the MAGA endorsement strikes again following Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's decisive runoff victory, signaling a significant shift in the Republican landscape as the fight for Congressional control continues. Senator Jim Banks (R-IN) joins the Rundown to discuss whether this primary momentum can be sustained through November. Plus, he breaks down his legislative push for the "Delilah Law," which would restrict commercial driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, and a bold proposal from the DHS secretary to pull federal customs agents from sanctuary city airports as a form of jurisdictional retaliation. The upcoming hurricane season is bringing a mix of relief and uncertainty as rare global weather patterns clash with record ocean warmth. FOX Weather Meteorologist Ian Oliver joins to discuss NOAA's recent predictions for a quieter-than-usual year, the inner workings of a massive Pacific warming trend that acts as a natural shield against storm development, and how groundbreaking AI technology is being used to better predict severe weather and protect coastal communities. Jon Herold and Burning Bright are back together for the Wednesday show with a week's worth of movement to unpack. The DOJ launches a criminal investigation into E. Jean Carroll for perjury, and Burning Bright connects it to the SPLC indictment as part of a broader pattern: not just targeting individual liars, but exposing the funded NGO infrastructure that manufactured political narratives against Trump for a decade. Hassan Piker and Code Pink's Medea Benjamin both get subpoenaed for FARA violations tied to their Cuba trip, and Piker accidentally names billionaire Roy Singham, who lives in China, as one of their key funders on a live stream. Trump's "I don't care about the midterms" clip drops, and the guys explore what it means if the story the media tells about who wins in November is simply what Trump decides it will be. John Solomon's "hypersonic clarity" prediction from April 16 gets a timeline audit: missed by weeks and counting. Jill Biden surfaces claiming she had never seen Joe Biden like that at the debate, the same week he sued to block the Hur audio tapes. The Iran deal cycle continues, now sourced to CNN citing Iran's semi-official agency citing someone who heard explosions. Gavin Newsom threatens a 100% tax on anti-weaponization fund payouts to California residents.

On this episode, Amanda Head gives you a double dose of congress.First, host Amanda Head discusses with Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville the latest in redistricting news. South Carolina's GOP-controlled state senate rejected a new congressional map, and a three-judge panel in Alabama blocked a map favoring Republicans, citing race-based discrimination. Tuberville emphasizes the need for a fair map in Alabama and the importance of securing the Senate majority to support President Trump's agenda. Tuberville criticizes the Biden administration's handling of January 6 cases the politicization of the judiciary, and a Congressional fund enacted to “make whole” Jan6 defendants who were victims of Biden's weaponization.Next, Amanda speaks with Rep. Randy Fine of Florida as the Trump administration is investigating whether Marxist influencers, including Hassan Piker, violated federal laws or sanctions by supporting Cuba. Fine criticizes Piker as a foreign-funded agitator, likely backed by China, aiming to divide America. Fine contrasts the Democratic Party's embrace of anti-Semitism with the Republican Party's rejection of extremism. He emphasizes the need for transparency in protest funding to expose foreign influence. Fine also condemns Democrats for protesting ICE on Memorial Day, accusing them of siding with foreigners over American citizens. The conversation concluded with a discussion on Title IX and transgender athletes in sports. In this episode of The Danielle Gill Show, Danielle sits down with Claremont Institute senior fellow Jeremy Carl for a deep dive into the Texas runoff between Ken Paxton and John Cornyn, the power of Trump’s endorsements, the 2026 mid-terms, and what these races signal for the future of the GOP. Jeremy breaks down hidden voter blocs, the Senate’s internal dynamics, the coming 2026 midterms, and how early positioning is already shaping the 2028 presidential field.
