He's back! Sonic the Hedgehog 3 raced into U.S. theaters last week... but it's having a bit of a, ironically, slow global rollout. I finally had the chance to see the film and when it comes to the Sonic movies, I've mildly enjoyed them. I definitely preferred 2 to 1 but the CGI cast is fun and more Jim Carrey action is always welcome. Sonic 3 had A LOT of hype and buzz around it and seemingly, the film delivered for most fans. Did I feel the same way? Find out in this review! Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Directed by: Jeff Fowler Screenplay by: Pat Casey & Josh Miller & John Whittington Story by: Pat Casey & Josh Miller Produced by: Toby Ascher, Neal H. Moritz, Toru Nakahara, Hitoshi Okuno Executive Producers: Jeff Fowler, Tommy Gormley, Tim Miller, Haruko Satomi, Shuji Utsumi Music by: Tom Holkeborg Cinematography by: Brandon Trost Editing by: Al LeVine Casting by: Sophie Holland, Jenelle Scuderi, Tricia Wood Production Design by: Luke Freeborn Costume Design by: Eleanor Baker Cast: Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Idris Elba, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Krysten Ritter, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Alyla Browne Synopsis: Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.

In this week's new episode of The Comic Section Podcast, the hosts delve into several exciting developments in the entertainment world. They begin by discussing Paramount Studios' plans to adapt the popular storyline from the recent IDW comics into a live-action feature film titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin," aiming for an R-rating. Next, they talk about Keanu Reeves being cast to voice the character Shadow in Paramount Pictures' "Sonic the Hedgehog 3." Shadow, a creation of Professor Gerald Robotnik, possesses extraordinary speed and Chaos Control abilities, initially depicted as an antagonist to Sonic but eventually becoming an ally. The hosts also share news about an upcoming Chris Farley biopic directed by Josh Gad, based on the best-selling biography "The Chris Farley Show: A Biography in Three Acts." Additionally, they discuss the reboot of the "Scary Movie" franchise, produced by Neal H. Moritz and Paramount Pictures. In movie news, they mention the sequel to "Five Nights at Freddy's" and the streaming debut of "Godzilla Minus One" on Amazon Prime Video. They also confirm the release of a Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover movie in 2025 or 2026, following a tease during "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts." The hosts then move on to discuss a Marvel Comics writer's false claim that Kevin Feige ordered the death of Kamala Khan for MCU synergy, clarifying that Feige's involvement was exaggerated. In the coming soon/preview segment, they preview trailers from Netflix's "Blood of Zeus" season 2, Apple's "Fly Me To The Moon," and "Speak No Evil," along with quick thoughts on trailers for "Transformers One" and M. Night Shyamalan's "Trap." Finally, in the review segment, Jason reviews FX's "Shogun," Rigel reviews "Invincible Season 2" and "Monkey Man," and Ant reviews "Terrifier 2." Hey everyone, Fast X - the first part of the finale to the Fast Saga - has released I theaters. As I've stated before, I'm a pretty big fan of these movies and grew to be a massive fan by binging 8 of these films right after The Fate of the Furious came out. I was looking forward to Fast X and the concept of them closing out this franchise, at last, on their own terms but felt F9 just went way too far with the over-the-top stunts. So, does Fast X dial back some of that and act as a nice return to form for the Fast Saga or is it more of the same? Find out in this spoiler-free review. Fast X: Directed by: Louis Leterrier Screenplay by: Dan Mazeau & Justin Line Story by: Dan Mazeau & Justin Line Characters created by: Gary Scott Thompson Produced by: Vin Diesel, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Justin Lin, Neal H. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they've ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who's fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.

America's funniest movie podcast, Spoilers!, presents our The Fast and the Furious review. Laugh along with us as we discuss tuna sandwiches, Race Wars and NOS! Do you even have your car? ***************************** The Fast and the Furious is a 2001 American-German crime action film directed by Rob Cohen and written by Gary Scott Thompson and David Ayer. It is the first installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. It was released in the United States on June 22, 2001. The Fast and the Furious follows Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), an undercover cop tasked with discovering the identities of a group of unknown automobile hijackers led by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel). Development for The Fast and the Furious arose after Cohen read a Vibe magazine article in 1998 titled "Racer X", which detailed the illegal street racing circuit operating within New York City. After contacting producer Neal H. Moritz, Moritz was able to present the script to Universal Studios, who greenlit The Fast and the Furious in 2000. Walker was the first actor to sign onto the project, while Diesel initially had to be persuaded to participate in the film, accepting after proposing several script changes. Principal photography began in Los Angeles in July 2000, with the majority of filming being done on location in Los Angeles and southern California, which ended in October 2000. Upon release, The Fast and the Furious was a commercial success, grossing over $200 million worldwide. It received generally positive reviews, with praise directed at both Walker and Diesel's performance, and the film's action sequences. However, some were critical of parts of the storyline and the ending. It was later re-released on June 22, 2016, to commemorate the film's fifteenth anniversary. The Fast and the Furious soon launched a media franchise and a series of seven sequels, starting with 2 Fast 2 Furious in 2003. Directed by Rob Cohen Produced by Neal H.
