Mais eu escuto as mulheres mais acho que a tentativa de controle é uma das maiores causas de sofrimento na maternidade.  Rosa sentiu na prática que não temos controle sobre a vida. A primeira vez foi na gravidez do Benjamin, quando descobriu que o seu bebê estava com gastrosquise, uma malformação congênita da parede abdominal, ocasionando a exposição do intestino. A segunda vez foi quando ela se viu gravida de gêmeos nove meses depois do nascimento do Benjamin. Talvez a terceira vez  tenha sido quando teve uma hemorragia após o parto. Rosa passou meses de gravidez na incerteza, sem saber o quão grave era a malformação do seu filho. Ela foi em busca de respostas médicas. E se não encontrou respostas, ela encontrou um médico que a fez falar. Rosa então mudou a sua postura diante do desconhecido. Pronta para o que vier, ela decidiu que no quarto da maternidade teria uma festa.  Rosa conta a sua conversão ao judaísmo e sua relação com a fé que flutuou e amadureceu ao longo da maternidade. Ela relata como se reinventou profissionalmente, criando a Lolla, e lembra o que aprendeu com a maternidade: saber quem ouvir e fazer as coisas por si mesma e não só pelos outros.Obrigada Rosa por compartilhar aqui as suas lições de maternidade.
