Joined on this episode by the exceptional mind that is Dennis Legear. It is hard to name someone who has put in more effort and thought into fire stream development than Dennis. We talk about the three key aspects of fire stream application: Volume, placement and velocity. Handline attack package design, as well as large stream development. Target flows, nozzle pressures, reaction force, was all on the agenda... and of course that does not include all the wonderful questions from the audience!
Smart controllers don't save water. Nozzles don't save water. They CAN, but I believe that Irrigation professionals, who are CURIOUS ENOUGH to know how to use smart controllers have the potential to save water. 20 years is a long time not to have an answer for something that seems so basic, and I've come to the realization that it is easy to connect the dots looking backwards. We can laugh at Steve Ballmer now, but at the time, he MIGHT have been right...so, here is my message for you today - The future doesn't create itself, someone has to create it. I encourage you to stay curious, and to borrow a phrase from Reid Hoffman co-founder of LinkedIn, “things that seem totally Nut Balls, 10 years later, that's just the way you do it!”

New pieces of equipment come out all the time in the American Fire Service, but nothing has created as much interest as the HEN Nozzle in a long time. Not only has it been stirring interest but it is also endorsed by some very big names in the fire service. With the sheer number of questions I was receiving about the nozzle, I decided to have Ray on to talk about the nozzle, and his involvement with it. This is of course just one topic, and as always the audience took control and determined the direction of the show.

This Episodes Questions: Another dedicated aussie listener, hey guys, thanks for a great podcast. My question is, I recently purchased a K1 Max, not many issues except hot end blockages 3 in as many weeks, it's even causing under extrusion and have to disassemble the hot end to clear it out, thing is it seems to line the inside just above the nozzle which seems impossible to clear, any advice would be much appreciated, is it me the way I'm changing filament or is it an issue with the printer? Thanks in advance Roy My question is about the new K1 firmware hack provided by crealitys outlet on giithub, is it worth the risk? I've been doing the yards in checking and researching, but cannot other than maybe a couple of issues from people on Reddit I have around 3 years experience in 3d printing so have some knowledge thanks to your podcast, great listening Roy Hi. DTFF: The Volunteer Firefighter Podcast - Down To Fight Fire
EP130 - Tradition, Changing Over Time. Helmets, Nozzles and a rabbit hole of topics. This week we discuss the changes in the fire service. Leather helmets vs “plastic”, combination nozzles vs. smooth bore, our new multi use helmets and a wide range of other topics that we venture off path about. WHO WE ARE As a group of Rural Volunteer Firefighters, our Fire Department has built our firefighter training from both old and new tactics in the fire service and adapted them to fit the realities of equipment, manpower, and costs around what our community requires. WHAT WE DO We create video, audio and written word content to share these training and tactics methods with our Brothers and Sisters in our extended fire families, and to showcase to those that may be interested in becoming firefighters the fun you can have and the amazing skills and abilities you get to learn, whilst keeping the lives of the people around you safe! WHY WE SHARE Firefighters are problem solvers whose role requires them to be on their best day whilst others are having their worst day, and while we do not claim to be perfect we are willing to put our lives on the line to try. It's during the trying that we continue to develop the mindset, tactics, and training that allow us to be effective, safe and successful where it's needed the most, and by sharing our experiences we hope that it may help other Fire Departments in creating what works for them to help bring everyone home safe. Hi, I can share how water purification filters work. Contact us at https://www.highwaterstandard.com/ Water filters are a common name for technical installations used in water treatment systems. All types of devices are divided into two categories: for household cleaning; for the preparation of drinking water. To get an idea of how the water filter works, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the most common structures used in homes, industrial and public institutions. Filters for drinking water how does the water filter work Filters for drinking water differ in the principle of action, installation, performance and degree of purification. In order to choose an installation that is optimal in terms of functionality, you need to know not only how the water filter works, but also the quality of the water source. Water resources in cities and regions differ in chemical and biological composition, the content of mechanical impurities (sand, clay, lime, colloidal suspensions). The main characteristics of water - taste and transparency - depend on the complex of these parameters. Drinking filters include: table jugs with cartridges; nozzles on the crane; flow installations; reverse osmosis systems. The simplest filter jugs purify water from mechanical impurities, chlorine compounds, organics, retain harmful substances, partially disinfect pathogenic microorganisms. To maintain high quality cleaning cartridges need to be changed once a month. Nozzles on the crane - compact devices, comparable in fineness to cleaning with filter-jugs. A separate category is magnetic nozzles, effectively removing mineral impurities from the water and disinfecting the composition of pathogenic bacteria. Flow-through installations ─ filter systems installed under the sink. The complex consists of several cartridges, each of which is responsible for cleaning from certain components. To select the appropriate kit, you need to know the initial composition of the water, the requirements of consumers to the performance of the system. Reverse osmosis systems are high-tech devices that purify water to ideal performance. The main functional element is semipermeable membranes that allow only pure molecules to pass through the pores. To enrich the purified resource with minerals necessary for the body, an additional mineralizer is installed (at the request of consumers). Knowing how water purification filters work in certain operating conditions, it is easier to choose a design that meets individual needs. Filters for household cleaning how water purification filters work The river, lake and artesian water contains various impurities that destroy pipelines and sanitary equipment during operation. Metal salts and calcium are deposited on the walls of pipes, plug adapters, which, ultimately, leads to premature wear and damage to equipment. The highly specialized type of filtering devices include iron removers installed at the entrance of the pipeline to the house. The equipment is used in regions where water is supplied with a high content of iron compounds, which leave rusty marks on ceramics and other types of coatings. Main filters effectively purify water from mechanical impurities and eliminate unpleasant odors. The level of cleaning depends on the size of the particles retained by the filter material (range from 1 to 200 microns). High-quality purification of household water is no less important to health than the preparation of drinking composition. The water, soft, cleared of harmful components, well influences skin and hair, does not cause an allergy and irritation. Select the appropriate device that meets the criteria of consumers, help descriptions of instruments and advice of professional managers.

Hello Crazy Podcast C-words and welcome to the twelfth episode of Harry Hardy's Fun Saturday Internet Podcast Thing, hosted by me, your host, Harry Hardy, host of this podcast, which is mine. Today's episode is a result of my appalling laziness. Instead of booking a guest and recording an interview, I have just lifted a load of old Big Debates that I took part in on The Jon Holmes Show on talkRADIO and have presented them in some sort of big feature-length compendium of brain-meltingly funny and desperately frustrating nuggets of comedy gold. Gasp in horror as the subject of SEASHELLS is analysed in excruciating detail! Marvel at the only debate on NOZZLES that has ever been broadcast on British radio! Be amazed by a ten-minute-long conversation on CHICKEN WIRE! Also, there are a few more too. I hope you enjoy them! Ta! This podcast features the comic talents of Alex Sievewright, Joe Penneck, Kate O'Connor, Simon Jobson, and Nick Minter.
Ghost Team, Go! is back, baby! But things aren't quite back to normal. It's Jack and Nick's last day on the run, and they've been separated and stranded in the Australian outback! Join Jack and guest co-host Tim Pumpkinholz (living author of "Ghosts of the Outback") on their quest to find Nick and escape the cursed isle of Australia! But it wouldn't be Ghost Team, Go! with a ghost, and things take a turn for the terrifying when Jack and Tim meet Nozzles Boilin, an Australian survival expert. He teaches Jack and Tim all about life in the outback, dangerous animals, and Australian opera. But there's one problem: Nozzles doesn't know he's a ghost. Will Nozzles' accent remain consistent? Will Jack and Tim convince him of his ghostly nature? And where the heck is Nick?! Find out all this and more on this week's aussome (does that scan?) episode of Ghost Team, Go! FEATURING Tim Unkenholz (@TimUnken) as Tim Pumpinholz.
