In this episode, I'm challenging one of the biggest assumptions people make about life success, timing, and what it really means to be "behind." Because what if the pressure you're putting on yourself isn't based on reality at all? If you've been comparing your life to everyone else's timeline, feeling like you've missed your chance, or wondering why you haven't reached certain milestones yet, this will hopefully snap you out of it and give you a completely different perspective. If you're someone with MS who knows exercise matters but can't seem to stay consistent… this episode is your pep talk. We've all been there. You start the week with the best intentions, then by Wednesday the negative self-talk creeps in: "I'm too tired." "It's not working." "What's the point?" Sound familiar? Here's the thing, exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have for improving mobility, strength, and independence with multiple sclerosis (MS). But the way you talk to yourself about it? That matters just as much as the workout itself. In this episode, I'm breaking down: → Why mindset is the missing piece in most MS exercise routines → The common thoughts that keep you stuck before you even start → How to shift your mental habits so they support your goals instead of sabotaging them → Practical strategies for building an exercise plan that actually fits your life → Phrases you can borrow to boost your motivation on the hard days This isn't about pretending everything is fine or forcing toxic positivity. It's about honest, research-backed strategies for people with MS who want to feel stronger, move better, and believe in what's possible again. You've got this.

Are you a pre-dental student feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or questioning whether all of this hard work is worth it? This episode is for you.In this week's episode, Dr. Haley takes listeners back to her own pre-dental journey and shares the struggles, doubts, and stressful moments she experienced while studying for the DAT, applying to dental school, and building a competitive application.Whether you're taking summer classes, shadowing, working as a dental assistant, studying for the DAT, or anxiously waiting for interview invitations, Dr. Haley wants you to know that she has been exactly where you are.In this episode, she discusses:

The Congregational Church of New Canaan Sermon Podcast

At first glance, Jesus' words about self-denial, sacrifice, and taking up the cross hardly sound like a summer message. But what if Matthew 10 is actually a kind of pep talk? In this sermon, “Pep Talk,” we explore Jesus' challenge to his disciples as they prepare to go into the world proclaiming good news and embodying God's kingdom. Like a coach preparing a team for a championship run, Jesus reminds his followers that meaningful achievements often require sacrifice. The path to a significant life is not found in comfort, acquisition, or self-protection—it is found in self-giving love. Drawing on examples from sports, business leadership, family life, and contemporary culture, the message reflects on Jesus' surprising claim that those who try to save their lives will lose them, while those who give their lives away will find them. As summer begins, we are invited to consider how small acts of generosity, patience, service, and sacrifice might become seeds of goodness that bear fruit far beyond what we can imagine.

Are you in the messy middle and wondering if the dream is even worth it? That in-between season — where you're doing the work but the results aren't showing up the way you expected — has a name. It's not the stuck or forgotten season. It's the preparation season and it's positioning you for everything you asked for.We gets real about the sting of the messy middle — the doubt, the dread, and the temptation to turn back and go back to what's familiar even when familiar wasn't fulfilling. But here's what shifts everything: every single choice you make is a vote. You are constantly casting votes for a version of yourself — and the version that gets the most consistent votes? That's the version that shows up in your life. So, let's stop measuring how close the dream is and start measuring how consistently you are voting for the woman who already has it.WE'RE GETTING INTO:➡️ Why the messy middle hurts in a very specific way — and why that pain is not a sign to quit➡️ The voting framework — how every choice, habit, boundary, and standard is a vote for a version of you➡️ Why the temptation to return to familiar is real and what to do when it gets loud➡️ How to get crystal clear on who she is ➡️ Why receiving requires releasing — and what has to go to make room for what's coming➡️ How to use this preparation season to deliver the version of you who already has everything you've been asking for.THE SELF-LOVE 2-STEP:Step 1 — Release: Identify what you're still voting for that belongs to an old version of you and make the decision to let it goStep 2 — Reframe: Every time the messy middle stings, replace the doubt with — I am preparing for everything I asked for and every choice is a vote for herThe YOU Step:Get still, get quiet, and get clear on who she is. Beka Goedde and Mandolyn Wilson Rosen join me this episode to unpack our experience visiting renowned artist, Louise Bourgeois' home in NYC. We entered her historic brownstone and were immediately transported to another world and time. Louise lived a full life but was very much an artistic homebody. She made her home her studio in every sense of the word, stuffing each room full of materials to be on hand whenever inspiration struck. She found a way to balance family life with making her work and rode out long career lulls with grace and determination. Hi friend — welcome back to The Habit Within. Today's episode is a little different. This is one of my Spark Sessions — a short, honest conversation from my heart to yours. No teaching. No fixing. No “5-step framework.” Just a moment to pause together and remember:You are not alone in this season.Because if I'm being honest… I think so many of us are carrying more than anyone can actually see right now. From the outside, maybe it looks like you're handling it all beautifully. You're answering the emails. Showing up for the activities. Making the appointments. Planning the summer. Holding the family together. But internally? You might feel like you're one small inconvenience away from crying in your car.And if that's where you are today, I want you to hear this clearly:Nothing is wrong with you. You're human. And this is a lot. In this episode, I share: Why invisible emotional labor can feel heavier than the things people actually see  The image of “holding all the strings” — and why so many women feel like if they let go of one thing, everything will fall apart  How even “normal life” seasons can become overwhelming when everything stacks at once  Why crying in your car, feeling emotional, or hitting your limit doesn't mean you're failing  The healing power of being witnessed by someone who simply says: “Yeah… that's a lot.” Why “good enough” can be sacred during hard seasons  Small ways to return to yourself when life feels emotionally loud  A reminder that this season will not last forever — even if it feels endless right now This episode is meant to feel like a hand on your shoulder.A deep breath.A quiet reminder that you don't have to carry everything perfectly to still be doing an incredible job.A Gentle ReminderMaybe today isn't about becoming a better version of yourself.Maybe today is simply about softening your grip enough to breathe.Drink the water.Take the walk.Send the text.Let yourself cry if you need to.And remember: you've made it through hard seasons before. You will make it through this one too.I'd love to hear from youWhat's one thing you've been quietly carrying lately? If this episode made you feel seen, send me a message or share it with another woman who might need this reminder today. If you're tired of feeling exhausted, irritable, moody, and just not like yourself,  schedule a free 30-minute consultation so I can help you feel like YOU again Fill out this brief form (2 min) to schedule a free 30-minute call. Love the show? In this episode of Life Rewired, Kristina opens with a simple but powerful premise: if nothing changes, nothing changes. Not as a criticism, but as a genuine invitation to look at the gap between what we want and what we are actually doing day to day, and to get real about why that gap exists.Kristina breaks down the four biggest reasons people stay stuck even when they desperately want things to be different. The discomfort of change, the habit of waiting for the right time, being attached to the outcome but not the process, and the fear of failing again or being seen trying. She then goes deeper into what lasting change actually requires, making the case that it is not a dramatic overhaul or a perfect Monday restart. It is the small, boring, repetitive habits and routines done consistently over time. She closes with one of the most important pieces of the episode, the identity shift. Kristina explains that real lasting change is not just about behavior, it is about how you see yourself, and that every small commitment you keep is a vote for a new version of who you are becoming. She leaves listeners with five practical action steps to actually start, and a direct, heartfelt reminder that the decision to change is always available, it just has to be made.HOLIDAY HABITS PODCAST FOR MDW:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/life-rewired/id1551174752?i=1000709574520BUILT AND BALANCED VIP COACHING:https://builtgroupcoaching.my.canva.site/vipcoachingBALANCED BLUEPRINT MEMBERSHIP:https://builtgroupcoaching.my.canva.site/balancedblueprintmembershipB&B NEWSLETTER/FREE FAT LOSS MASTERCLASS:https://builtandbalanced.kit.com/dd0f3197ccKRIS IG:https://www.instagram.com/kristinaturnure/?hl=enTHE BLUEPRINT FOUNDATIONS COURSE:https://stan.store/KrisTurnure/p/the-blueprint-courseLIFE REWIRED IG:https://www.instagram.com/LIFEREWIREDPODCAST/?utm_medium=copy_linkNASH BARS:https://nashnutrition.co/PTULA: DISCOUNT CODE KRISTINAT https://www.ptula.com/TRANSPARENT LABS: CODE KRISTINA https://athlete.transparentlabs.com/kristinaturnure

When your soul feels tired, discouraged, anxious, or forgetful, sometimes the most necessary sermon is the one you preach to yourself. In this message from Psalm 103:1-10, we're reminded to command our souls to bless the Lord and remember His unchanging benefits: forgiveness, mercy, redemption, and grace. Praise rises when we stop rehearsing our problems and start remembering who God is and all He has done for us.

When your heart is weighed down by guilt, weakness, or fear, Psalm 103 reminds us to look again at the unchanging mercy of God. In Part II of “A Very Necessary Pep Talk,” we're reminded that God has removed our sins, understands our weakness, and reigns forever as King over all creation. The same God who knows us completely still loves us deeply, and that truth gives every reason to rise up and bless the LORD.

Do your standards shrink the room? Have you ever been called too much, too intense, too selective, too particular? What if that's not a flaw, but proof of the work you've done on yourself? In this episode of A Really Good Cry, Radhi gets real about what it means to hold high standards — in dating, friendship, work, and with yourself. She breaks down the difference between ego-driven expectations and value-driven ones, and why knowing the difference changes everything. In this episode, you'll learn: - Why being "low maintenance" isn't the flex we think it is. - The difference between ego standards and value standards. - Three tests to check if your standards are rooted in values or image. - Why "you're too much" is about their capacity, not your worth. - How Oprah, Serena Williams, and Indra Nooyi refused to shrink and won. Your standards aren't the problem. Compromising them is.
