New Zealand motor racing driver Brendon Hartley is stunned by the quality of competition heading into this weekend's Le Mans 24-hour endurance race. The prestigious race has been operating since 1928 and the winner is the car that travels the greatest distance in a 24-hour period around the 13.6km circuit. The biggest names in vehicle manufacturing are taking part —with Genesis, Ford and McLaren joining the party next year— and Hartley says the level of driver is insane. En este episodio platicamos con el especialista de planeación de producto de Toyota de México para conocer más sobre el nuevo Toyota GR Yaris 2025, que estrena potencia y mejoras importantes en su performance.  Se trata de un auto que se ha desarrollado detrás de la experiencia de la marca en el automovilismo junto con TOYOTA GAZOO Racing en el Campeonato Mundial de Rally, es una muestra que tiene la marca de llevar emociones auténticas al volante, compartiendo el espíritu del "Waku Doki", que simboliza nuestra pasión por la adrenalina.  Este GR Yaris cuenta con un motor tricilíndrico turbo de 1.6 L, GR Yaris 2025 aumenta su potencia máxima ahora con 296 HP y un torque de 295 lb-pie, permitiendo alcanzar de 0 a 100 km/h en solo 5.2 segundos, y alcanzando una velocidad máxima de 230 km/h. Este modelo incorpora GR-FOUR, el primer sistema de tracción deportiva de Toyota, que ahora permite tres tipos de configuraciones: Normal, Track, y el nuevo Gravel que entrega la máxima tracción en caminos de alta o baja adherencia. Llega a México en tres colores inspirados en el equipo TOYOTA GAZOO Racing: Blanco, Rojo y Negro. Y está limitado a solo 150 unidades, tiene un precio de $769,000 pesos

Dit was De Villiers se 22ste en laaste agtereenvolgende Dakar-tydren. Toyota Gazoo Racing se Henk Lategan en navigator Brett Cummings het die algehele voorsprong behou in die sesde skof. Dit is ten spyte daarvan dat hulle 3 minute, 1 sekonde afgestaan het aan Yazeed Al Rajhi en Timo Gottschalk, wat in die tweede plek is in hul privaat ingeskrewe Toyota Hilux. Lategan is aan die woord.

Toyota Gazoo Racing's Kalle Rovanperä is one of the brightest young talents in Motorsport having rewritten the World Rally Championship record books, becoming the youngest ever champion aged 22 in 2022. Last year he joined an elite group of drivers to defend the crown that include Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, Tommi Makinen, Sebastien Loeb and Sebastien Ogier. The Finn may be familiar for tackling the world toughest roads but this year he is expanding his motorsport horizons, dovetailing a part-time WRC campaign with a move into circuit racing. As Americans have begun to make their mark in the Dakar Rally over recent years, few have more potential to become long-term icons of the event, or the sport of rally raid, than Seth Quintero. Dominant in American desert racing as a teenager, winning events from the Mint 400 to the UTV World Championship, Quintero earned the call from Red Bull to compete on a global stage for the first time in 2020, and he debuted at Dakar in 2021. In his first two Dakars, he won 18 combined stages in the Light Prototype class, including a record 12 in 2022, before finally scoring his first overall podium with a second place last year.
