This week, Grayson and James are joined by Ben Earl, English professional rugby union player who plays as a back row for Premiership rugby club Saracens and England. We get into Ben's rugby career, his time at Saracens, his International debut under coach Eddie Jones, and what habits and routines he's implementing this year to optimise mind, body and performance.
Jez and Matt saw in the New Year in style, by reviewing the results of a busy RFU disciplinary panel which scrubbed Ben Earl's red card and saw a high-profile punishment handed out to Joe Marler.A nod is given to those receiving New Year's Honours, but most importantly to Tony Rowe (up to you to decide what CBE actually stands for) who saw his Exeter Chiefs team pummelled by a Saracens team righting some wrongs of the week before and led by an inspired Owen Farrell.
Jez, Matt and Barry wrap their heads around being top of the league with a 100% record - despite an off day against a much improved Bath side and a brilliant Ollie Lawrence performance.Elsewhere there's bad news with serious injury to Vicky Fleetwood, and good news with Ben Earl signing a new deal with the club. There's also the latest from the World Cup, and the ups and downs of a Monday night Prem Cup match featuring some shaky defence and blistering pace.
To whet your appetite for the biggest match of the season, Jez and Matt bring you an extra Fezcast this week! Ahead of the Twickenham showdown with Leicester Tigers, they discuss the off-pitch chatter from the week, the rebuilding of both clubs, and how we can win one more match and earn ourselves the trophy! And if that isn't enough, Jez had a chat with the Gallagher Premiership Player of the Season Ben Earl to get his thoughts on the challenge ahead!

This is possibly the most thought provoking episode I have released in a long time. I have tried to convince Ben to be a guest on the podcast since the very beginning and today is the day he finally sits and talks to me about his incredible approach to magic. Ben doesn't do interviews for magicians, so I am honoured that he choose to speak to you via this podcast. We go right back to the start of his professional career to discuss his DVD Past Midnight, we talk about why he decided to try and fool Penn & Teller rather than the how he fooled them. Ben also talks candidly about his Channel 4 series Trick Artist. Did he really ask security to eject the magicians he spotted in the studio audience? He answers that question in this podcast with 100% honesty. Ben is just beginning the start of a new journey for him and his magic, a project he calls Neo-Movement which is an approach to magic which makes sleights invisible and magic look purer than ever before.
