This week we're thinking about retrofit differently with Dan Hill from Dark Matter Labs (DML). Learning Assembler or PLX was never a problem for James and he could still bring in all the experience he has with modern technology. Although it was complex in Corona times, he often speaks at conferences. Meet a good example, that new talent is not an issue on IBM zSystems.

For our 4th episode, we were joined by Councillor Fiona Venner, a Labor councillor of the Kirkstall and West Leeds ward and the Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board in Leeds, and Dr Jolanta Shields, a politics lecturer at Leeds Beckett University who, before lecturing worked on research projects that looked at health inequalities and has worked with Manchester City Council exploring how policy choices affect the roles of CICs and the NHS. We discussed what are the current health inequalities in the UK, what factors that influence them, what we can learn from policies put into place and how we can move forward to further tackle this issue. With our special guests, we were able to explore how different sectors such as academics, government and CICs are working to tackle this issue. Today Will Yates visits us and we talked about his career in Testing and how he learned to like IBM Z and CICS. He and his Team also invented and open sourced a Framework named Galasa that provides users with many years of experience that has been build up by the CICS Team in Hursley. 

The Big Themes:• The Baby Boomers are retiring: Further accelerating the need to deal with mainframes.• FinTech as an example: Old brick and mortar banks and investment firms have had mainframes for 40 years, but those workhorses can't handle fast-changing world of digital finance.• You'd better get that project right: We always tell our CIOs, "When you successfully move your mainframe to the cloud, you're going to end up in the CEO's office." El síndrome de anticuerpos antifosfolípidos es una enfermedad protrombótica autoinmune y sistémica la cual puede ser descrita como la entidad de un grupo de pacientes con anticuerpos antifosfolípidos o anticoagulantes lúpicos estos anticuerpos se dirigen contra una o más proteínas de Unión a fosfolípidos teniendo características asociadas las cuales son trombosis arterial y venosa pérdida fetal repetida o trombocitopenia la cual se encuentra en menor cantidad en los pacientes.
