If you watched this year's Superbowl, chances are you (and 123 million people) saw my guest Tony Robinette in the Dunkin Donuts commerical starring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and a slew of other cameos. That high profile spot capped off an incredible year of work for Tony, who has defied all odds to become one of the busiest actors in Hollywood (who you may not have heard of...yet). Despite two entertainment industry strikes, in 2023 Tony booked several TV shows including Ryan Murphy's Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, NCIS, Tacoma FD, Waco: The Aftermath and Nightcourt. In those projects, Tony toggled between boisterous comic performances to heart breaking dramatic characters. How did he do it? Join our conversation to find out how Tony got his start, how he stays so busy, how he keeps a positive mindset and how he juggles not one but five (?) agents! Tony also takes us behind the scenes of that crazy DD commercial!

Nikea Gamby-Turner is an actress living in Los Angeles, California. She can currently be seen on Abbott Elementary and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. By the age of 13, Nikea was a 34DD. Developing so young and quickly caused her emotional issues. In college, she was finally able to fall in love with her breasts and find her sexual prowess. Then at 30 years old Nikea was diagnosed with breast cancer. She first had a lumpectomy and then 6 months later had a double mastectomy. In total, she had three surgeries within 5 years, her first one in 2004 and her last one in 2006. Nikea is about to celebrate her 20-year anniversary of being cancer-free. In this episode, we candidly talk about the emotional loss of losing our breasts to cancer and how that changes us sexually. We talk about how sex played a role in Nikea's healing. How the one thing she knew she could do that made her feel like a woman, was to have a lot of sex, and she did. We talk about how it took ten years for her to become comfortable looking in the mirror and walking around naked. How she had to spiral to some very dark places to then find the light. She had to mourn her loss and forgive herself for the way she went about dealing with herself when she had something in life that she could not control. Former DGA president, and one of the most successful directors working in television, Paris Barclay joins us on the podcast to discuss his remarkable work on episodes six and ten of DAHMER, season one of Ryan Murphy's series, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” But it was work we almost didn't get to see, because he was initially very reluctant to take on the job.“This one was a hard NO. Um, ‘I'm doing a series about Jeffrey Dahmer and I want you to be a part of it' is not a call that I'm delighted to receive. So I said, ‘listen, I'm of an age where I lived through Jeffrey Dahmer and I know what Jeffrey Dahmer did to black and gay men like myself. And I don't think it's worth doing another story that looks at Jeffrey Dahmer and in any way makes him a more credible, emotional, positive figure.'”— Paris Barclay, Director, DAHMERSo why did Paris decide to take the gig, and how did he manage to craft such beautiful and heartbreaking stories depicting the impact of one of the most grim serial killers in history? This is just one of two podcast episodes we've done on this season of the series, so be sure to also look for our podcast episode with the producers and key members of the crew.Be sure to check out DAHMER in Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos® on Netflix. Please subscribe to The Dolby Institute Podcast wherever you get your podcasts. You can also check out the video for this episode.Learn more about the Dolby Institute and check out Dolby.com. Key members of the team behind DAHMER, season one of Ryan Murphy's hit series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” join us this week to discuss the challenges of balancing this gripping portrayal of the notorious serial killer, and his impact on the communities he preyed upon, without glorifying or redeeming Jeffrey Dahmer's horrific acts.“‘Monster' doesn't just relate to the guy with the knife. It relates to the society in which he was working within, and how he was able to get away with what he was doing for so long,”— Regis Kimble, Producer and Supervising Editor, DAHMERJoining us is Executive Producer and president of Ryan Murphy Productions Alexis Woodall, Re-recording Mixer Laura Wiest, Production Sound Mixer Amanda Beggs, and Producer & Supervising Editor Regis Kimble. Colin Ford starred in the Netflix original series “Daybreak” debuting in 2019 with Matthew Broderick. Prior to “Daybreak,” he spent three years on the CBS series “Under the Dome,” but Ford may be most well known when he starred as Matt Damon's son in the 2011 feature film “We Brought a Zoo.” Ford broke into film at the tender age of 5 where he played Clinton Jr. in “Sweet Home Alabama” starring Reese Witherspoon. Along with acting, Ford has been featured in magazines such as “Teen Vogue,” “W Magazine,” “Bello,” “Man about Town,” and “Schon” through modeling. As a young boy, he did a photo shoot for “W Magazine” with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie portraying their son. Perhaps one of Ford's most recognizable television role was his portrayal of young Sam Winchester in the popular CW series “Supernatural.” Ford has voiced countless radio and tv commercials but is best known for his role as “Jake” in the Disney Junior show, “Jake and the Neverland Pirates.” Other films credited to Ford include a movie adaptation of the bestselling book “Every Day,” “Extracurricular Activities,” “The War with Grandpa” with Robert De Niro, and “Captain Marvel.” Coming to Netflix in 2022, Ford will play “Chazz” in Ryan Murphy's upcoming crime drama “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” Future film projects include “LA Bound” and “The Hill” alongside Dennis Quaid.

Today's Oddcast - You Gonna' Eat That? (Airdate 10/3/2022) Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix might be the number one show on the platform right now, but there's nothing new about cannibalism. Evidence of people eating other people dates back more than 100,000 years. And before you think all cannibals are psycho, think again. Most are extreme loners - disturbed, sick, but not insane. In this episode, we take a look at the cannibal who used the internet to fetch his meal: Armin Miewes. More shocking? His victim consented to everything - and even tried a bite. It's Spooky Season and this Oddcast is not for the finicky or faint of heart. Listeners beware. The Bob & Sheri Oddcast: Everything We Don't, Can't, Won't, and Definitely Shouldn't Do on the Show! Matt and Jeff start off the show by discussing some entertaining stories surrounding Bob's Furniture and Lowe's. A crazy story randomly leads to the guys' sharing their opinions on the Tua Tagovailoa injury and how it was handled by the Miami Dolphins. After two weeks of what looks like negligence on behalf of the Dolphins' organization, the NFLPA has been conducting a further investigation into the concussion situation and whether proper protocols were met.The first three weeks of the NFL season has been a disaster for Steelers fans, and a surprise for many others. The Bills were looking hot until the Butt Punt. The Raiders went from being a playoff favorite to the worst team in the NFL. The Broncos have a great defense, but struggle to put points on the board behind Russell Wilson. Justin Herbert is being forced to put the team on his back and now the Chargers may suffer all season long because of it. Danny Dimes has been a surprise this season, becoming a threat with both his arms and legs and leading the Giants to a 2-1 record going into Week 4. Jeff, Matt & Tanner discuss the biggest surprises from the season thus far, alongside who they believe are the biggest contenders from both the AFC and NFC.There's been a lot of different TV shows, movies, and video games that have recently released, or will be in the near future. The guys dive into some they've enjoyed over the past few weeks, which lead to a variety of crazy conversations from serial killers to NASA crashing a small spacecraft directly into an asteroid. How does Tanner like the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare II after playing the beta last week? What does he think about NBA 2K23 and its MyCareer mode? What's this new Smile movie everyone keeps talking about? What are Jeff & Tanner's impressions of the new Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story? Find out about this and much more on the 41st episode of The 412 Podcast!

Jeepers Creepers! In the first part of this special two part episode Cam goes over Dahmer's childhood and adolescence, from his early obsession with dissecting animal and his realization that he was gay, to how he began drinking heavily at a young age and acting out in school as the class prankster. During his senior year, Dahmer is left to live alone for a short time, giving him the perfect opportunity to commit his first murder, just three weeks after high school graduation. Dahmer would spend the next nine years trying to keep his dark fantasies of murder and necrophelia at bay, earning a reputation around the gay bars and bathhouses for drugging and molesting men... and he did just that until he began his murderous reign in 1987.-If you'd just like to support your gals and the show, you can head over to patreon.com/TSFU and join for as little as $5 a month! Trust us, the story is much better when you hear it from beginning to end!Today the gals finish talking about the infamous Milwaukee Cannibal, Jeffrey Dahmer!Ash covers Dahmer's second through seventeenth victims. After committing his first murder just three weeks after his high school graduation in 1978, Dahmer kept his murderous tendencies under wraps for the next nine years. He killed his second victim in a hotel room in a reported blackout in 1987 and continued to ramp things up from there. He initially murdered and dismembered victims in grandma's basement, but when young Dahmer got a place of his own, what started off as some casual necrophelia soon turned into cannibalism, and he eventually started going down the infamous human-zombie-sex-slave road. The gals also discuss how Dahmer was finally caught and how his own murder took place!-If you'd just like to support your gals and the show, you can head over to patreon.com/TSFU and join for as little as $5 a month!
