Sarah went to Vail Pride and is getting very emotional about her LGBTQ journey, the self-doubt she's grappled with, and her goal of self-acceptance. We explore why we're often hardest on ourselves and more accepting of others. Sarah talks about a study on rule followers, and we speculate about why people follow rules even when no one would know if they broke it. We discuss why procrastination can be about avoiding feelings that make us uncomfortable rather than the task itself. Sarah's plant stealing lifestyle continues, and she is having guilt about some *leaves* she picked up off the ground. We debate whether private companies should be allowed to "own" celestial bodies. Our Favorite Bits19:26 - Recent study finds that people might be more honest than we thought30:33 - "Someone's having a good time". Sarah had a run-in at Home Depot where she was offered free plants, and she said no! And now she has regrets for being so honest and having integrity. Susie gives a tribute to her beloved Brian Wilson. We find out why Amelia Earhart wasn't actually a great pilot (seems like the disappearance should've tipped us off), but instead was just ahead of her time in...influencing. Susie explains how Amelia's famous flight has disturbing similarities to the Titan submersible tragedy. We learn about a woman who donated her body to science, but ended up blown to bits by the military. We hear why a funeral home was sending people remains of the strangers instead of their loved ones. We discuss an Olympian who has been kicked off the canoeing team for having an OnlyFans account and Susie thinks she should start an account for people whose kink is being insulted. Our Favorite Picks10:37 - Susie shares her love for the amazing Brian Wilson.18:58 - New Yorker article about Amelia Earhart30:11 - Man donated his mother's body to alzheimer's research, only to find out it was later sold on, and blown up!39:13 - Sarah's airfryer analogy45:15 - Olympic canoer pays for training by showing off his skin-paddle on Only Fans50:13 - Gen-Z and their dislike for opening a tab at the bar54:24 - Susie considers starting an Only Fans accountThe End... Susie and Sarah had a little reunion and they're still riding that sweet high. We're happy Susie wasn't on the flight where a little girl was allowed to take over the intercom and sing a Moana song to a non-consensual audience. Sarah tells us about a company that raised millions of dollars from investors posing as an AI tech company when really they had hundreds of people working behind the scenes manually performing tasks instead. A fan is suing the Colorado Rockies after he got hit with a ball. He thinks the team should be held accountable for being so bad that he quit paying attention and got struck by the ball as a result. When Ben and Adam got to see an early preview of the DS9 retrospective in 2019, they sat down to record a bonus episode about everything it brought to light. But with Voyager's own documentary on the way soon, how will it compare without a Shat or an Ira to center himself in the story. Who was responsible for a prison experiment at the live screening? Why is this production so kind to Rick Berman? What type of director wouldn't have used Meredith Brooks? Subscribe to my channel: vid.io/xoJJ - Fart Jokes, Bad Narcissistic Actors and Sex Comedies: Comments & Advice from My YouTube Community In today's vlog, I'll share several comments and bits of advice from my YouTube community's comments - including this one: My personal professional advice as an actor with CPTSD NAS is to show up at a local non profit theater, preferably an ensemble group. If anything than to just participate in acting warm up exercises. Participating in theater is usually free! And the exercises are some of the same used in Dialectical and other Behavior therapies. The whole purpose of these exercises is to calm the flight or fight. It is to tune the "instrument," the body. It is to connect your body, mind, and breath all as one and requires you fully commit to tongue twisters, breath support, stretching, and mindfulness. You must combine all three. Relaxation exercises are great, but you want to be fully mindful of your surroundings, your body, and your breathing, not just breathing, but controlled breath...from the diaphragm. Mindfulness can be small imagery of expelling the dark for the light to a full blown Alexander Technique as a cool down after stretching and vocalizing on a supported breath. Only there is one hitch, theater attracts narcissists and not because they are good actors. Narcissists suck at acting as a performance art! Let me say that again, Narcissists are terrible actors!!! Narcissists are attracted to real actors for supply. It can make a person with CPTSD NAS vulnerable. Narcissists in an ensemble tend to avoid actual warm-ups and use uncomfortable improv games instead of bringing a performers instrument to 0, "blank slate." PS.. Did I mention narcissists are actually terrible actors. They can fake in real life, but when they get on stage they are exposed. Acting requires managing a deliberate juggling of mask objectives and core objectives which means the artist's true personality is raw and exposed, like a dry paint brush. Narcissists give a shallow, one layer, smug performance, and are totally dependent on spectacle (base behavior because they cannot tap the emotion that gives an audience their catharsis. You will find them doing comedy routines and using shock factor sex jokes and fart jokes because they a unable to trigger catharsis in their audience. ...They can't provide supply. :) They don't understand the emotion.
