A “doctrine of demons” is invading Christian churches across America, twisting the Bible to advance leftist ideologies that divide people, warns a pastor and author of the book “Woke Jesus: The False Messiah Destroying Christianity.” “I think it is a doctrine of demons,” Lucas Miles, pastor of Nfluence church, tells The Daily Signal Podcast at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Orlando Monday. “I mean, its intention is to divide people.” He warns that “woke Christianity” or “progressive Christianity” or “the Christian Left” boils down to a false version of the faith tracing back to a Marxist sub-structure” that reframes the faith in terms of oppressors and oppressed.Enjoy the show! We all use music tech from companies like Spotify, Google, or Facebook, but we may be using it without really even knowing what's involved. This next guest certainly knows and is here to explain to us how finance and acquisitions affect the music industry. Sun is a Partner and Head of Digital Media at Nfluence Partners. She has a passion for the music industry and has sold music tech companies to Facebook, YouTube/Google, SESAC, SOCAN, and Spotify amongst others. With her expertise in investment banking, Sun offers amazing advice to music startups and entrepreneurs on getting their business funded, and what kind of strategic moves will help them succeed. Big Takeaway: There are a lot of really exciting verticals for music outside of just the explosion of growth in streaming. Some of the verticals include gaming, social, and fitness, and we are likely to see an influx of acquisitions in those sectors for music-related companies. ROMANS 10:1-21 (starting in verse 9)-Vs 3, Most people even today don't know there are TWO types of Righteous, by works and by grace through faith, as such, all are only trying to achieve salvation through works.-Paul definitely says that "Christ is the end of the law." The word end in the Greek is "telos," which implies a "conclusion" or "act of termination." Paul makes it clear that this benefit is "for everyone who believes," and not a universal position for all (unbelievers).-Paul goes on to contrast the keeping of the law (by works) and enjoying the benefits of righteous in Christ (through faith). One requires perpetual effort, and the other is by faith.-Vs 5, Paul makes is implying that if we live by the law, we must also live with the consequences of the judgment that comes with it when we inevitably fall short.-To fail to acknowledge righteousness through Christ, is to fail to accept that Christ died and is interceding on our behalf...it's to ignore the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.- Paul is quoting from Deuteronomy 30:11-14, if you just read that by itself, it would almost seem like Moses is saying that the Law is easy to keep, but Paul clarifies to say that Moses words were about the "word of faith" he was preaching. (vs 8)-vs 9, Paul is stressing how simple it is to receive the life of faith. This doesn't mean just saying the words, like a incantation produces salvation, but a true heart felt response of faith in Christ's Lordship does. We call this "the confession of faith."-Vs 11, "whosoever" or "anyone" makes it very clear that salvation is available to ALL people, regardless of position, race, or genealogy. -Romans 10:14-15 show how important it is that WE go and preach the word to people...otherwise, how can they believe.-Vs 16, Not all anointed messengers' words are accepted...often times they aren't...but we still go and we still preach - people's salvation is at stake.-Vs 18-20, Paul is saying that Israel (of the OT) heard the message of faith righteousness and that it was made clear to them, but that out of disobedience, envy, and obstinance they refused to receive it.Support the show (https://pushpay.com/g/nfluencechurch)
