"Living as modern humans we are disconnected, out of place and don't belong in the same way as other species""If you're feeling called to do something larger than you - you should follow that"SummaryTodays guest Elspeth Hay experienced a rewriting of all she had known when when one day she was grappling with the frustration that the area she calls home didn't have the ability to create more small scale, localised food systems because they were landlocked by the ocean and surrounded by established Oak forests. Until one day her belief and her story was challenged when she learned that we can eat acorns. From there  stories she'd believed her whole life began to unravel.  Not just about acorns but about the way humans have pattered ourselves to our current day reality. This process led her to write a book titled feed us with trees. The journey of the book creation took her on an ancestral tour from New England USA to the UK, introduced her to indigenous wisdom keepers, gave her the courage to challenge the system we know to be true and hold empathy for the courageous wisdom knowledge holders that have kept nature based skills and interaction alive.Elspeth is a is a wonderful story teller and with this skill alone I'm sure she is one of those humans who we need as the bridge to wherever it is we are headed."Our story is totally made up & doesn't follow any natural laws so we can look to other influences to rewrite it'Loved this? PAUSE… They burst like bubbles in the summer wind, Splashing their venom all over, Unleashing their words of blame and shame, To roam free in your mind, To poison your body.  PAUSE… It's okay, sweet one, You haven't done anything wrong.   PAUSE… You are not weak because of this. Nor are you the person this blame and shame paint you to be.  You are simply poisoned by their words, And their meanings, As they infect your thoughts, And spread their darkness throughout you. PAUSE… But they do not have to overpower you, They do not need to stay. Because when you recognize that blame and shame are not you, That they are simply a manifestation of your ego, Who is full of fear, You can choose to extract them from you, And let them go.  LONG PAUSE… So bring yourself inside, Letting your awareness land on the movement of your breathing.  PAUSE… Follow its circular rhythms. In… And out. Expanding your breath a bit with every inhale. And releasing it further with every exhale.  Breathe… LONG PAUSE… Come deep into your body now, And see if you can focus in, On where blame and shame are living.  PAUSE… Where are their judgments causing pain?  Where are their words covering you, Suffocating you? PAUSE… Where have you forgotten who you truly are?  LONG PAUSE… Let your attention you shine onto them,  Force them come out of the shadows, And present themselves. PAUSE… Just this brave act of awareness, Weakens them. PAUSE… Now see if you can imagine that loving exhale of your breath, Gather them up one by one, And carry them out of your body, And out of your mind. PAUSE… Watch them dissolve once they're gone, Once you've let them go. They have no power outside of you. PAUSE… They have no power. PAUSE… Let them go, With every breath out. Let them go. LONG PAUSE… Let them go. Let them go.  LONG PAUSE… Now feel into yourself once again, Coming deep into you. PAUSE… Notice their absence.  And honor the freedom, To be you.  To love you. To live you. Namaste, Beautiful

Corey focuses on larger webs and nests, and areas that are seldom covered by mainstream media. She exposes operations, oftentimes with detailed timelines, maps, and documentation to provide the full scope of what may be transpiring, and she always cites sources with links to back it up. A message from Corey: We have been spoon fed twisted narratives and deep forms of manipulation for centuries. Yes, centuries. It was much more difficult to seek out the truth long ago, but we live in an age where endless amounts of information is right at our fingertips. There is no longer an excuse to live in fantasy land, turning a blind eye to the destruction happening all around us, and hoping maybe things will get better one days. What will become of your children and their children? It is time to pull together evidence and expose those whom have brought us to this stage of the game. This goes deep folks. This is a worldwide web of corruption at the deepest levels of ones darkest imagination. You will not like much of what you discover, and some of it may leave you dazed and confused for weeks, but it is important information to understand in order to move forward. It is time to wake up – for many have been asleep far too long. “Within the web lies the truth.” I encourage everyone to do their own digging, use discretion and question everything. Over time you begin to spot the enemy, recognize the symbolism, see their strategies in play, and ultimately be able to quickly assess the liars from the truthers – the illusions from reality. We have been living in an illusion far too long. It is time to become aware and make others aware before it's too late. It's time to do some digging! You can see more at CoreysDigs.com

Today's guest on the Rules of Investing is similarly esteemed, with a similarly concentrated portfolio.  Claremont's Bob Desmond runs a portfolio of just 10-15 "quality growth" stocks. Changes to tax policy often can be anticipated, and certain steps are taken to lessen their impact. Now is the time to consider the implications for your investment portfolio and financial planWhat's changing in tax policy at the end of 2025?• Lower tax rates authorized under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 are scheduled to sunset at the end of 2025. • The law also basically doubled the lifetime gift and estate tax exemption, from $5.5 million to $11.2 million. • Barring Congressional action, the “non-permanent” changes to the law will expire on December 31, 2025, at which point the provisions will revert to pre-2017 levels. Income and capital gains taxeso Unless Congress acts, the top income tax bracket will increase to 39.6% from its current 37% pre-TCJA level. Taking distributions from a tax-deferred account. o Taking money out of a 401(k) plan or Traditional IRA sooner than you need it and paying ordinary income taxes at your lower current rate, could be a sensible move.o Caveat: Withdrawals from qualified retirement plans are taxed as ordinary income in the year received. Converting some or all of a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA. o Conversions from your traditional IRA to a Roth before 2026 allow you to pay the income tax liability upfront, presumably at a lower rate, rather than at the time of distribution.Sidestepping new RMD spend-down rules. o As a result of the SECURE 2.0 Act and beginning in 2023, beneficiaries are now required to spend down inherited IRAs or 401(k)s within 10 years. o Account owners who take distributions now and pay income taxes at today's lower current rates avoid this new requirement.Estate and Gift Taxeso Today, individuals can transfer up to $12.92 million, and married couples can transfer a total of up to $25.84 million, either during their lifetimes or as part of their estate) without triggering federal gift or estate taxes. Some potentially beneficial estate-planning strategies to consider include the following:o Making annual cash giftso Funding 529 plan education accounts o Using Trusts+++As with any tax-planning strategy, there is a possibility that Congress could change laws related to the gift and estate planning exemption. Review your tax and estate planning approach each year to make sure it's consistent with your financial goals and designed to provide you with some benefit given the current tax regime. Tom rejoins silver investor David Morgan to discuss Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). David has already done 30 podcasts examining crypto including possible ties between bankers, elites and the cryptocurrency world. He suggests banking elites desire to control the system via CBDCs is rooted in a reluctance to allow citizens to escape established systems. China's CBDC system is functioning successfully, becoming a model for other countries. Governments are expert at economic manipulation, said David, which is why he implores people to contact their representatives directly and express apprehension towards a crypto-central bank initiative. He acknowledges asset-backed cryptocurrencies offer a possible alternative, since they are still under the government's radar. Opting out of the current financial system is a viable option, but asset backed investments are still small relative to the overall financial system. David doesn't expect anything major to disrupt the system over the summer, so gold is likely to remain quiet. Money holds power, but ultimately freedom is more important. This is why efforts to disrupt status quo are so important. If you've ever wondered how people get government contracts (and how you can cash in on this, even if you're not in the Good Ole Boys Club), then this episode is for you!  It's Episode 46 y'all and the last one before we start to shift into the next phase of this podcast, into the next leveling up of What Would Sheila Say and I am soooo excited for what's to come.  One of the things I felt really strongly about sharing with you is this concept of government contracts, DBEs and RFPs. I will go through these acronyms in the episode, but I want to tell you WHY this is the case - why I chose this topic. Most people do NOT know about government or nonprofit or corporate contracts, which means quite often that the same people and companies year after year get a slew of contracts from local, state, federal government, and I don't like that. I want us to have diversity in how our government serves us, and I want to make sure that marginalized communities and those who are not at the table, who are not normally “in the know” - you know, those good ole boys club backroom deals - KNOW about the ways to get to that table. And government contracts are a surefire way to be in the know, to be AT the table - but you have to know they exist, and it's a way to make money and serve your community - and if you never know, you can never put your hat in the ring. So today, we're talking about getting GOVERNMENT and NONPROFIT and CORPORATE clients through bids, and proposals. We're also going to touch on the fact that once you get those, often, the doors open up to you in ways you can't even imagine, that then makes it easier for you to get more traditional clients, too. And if you aren't sure where to find these things wherever you live, I'm your girl. DM me, email me. I got you. We'll find those resources together, okay? Michael McClard arrived in New York in 1973 with a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he also won a Peabody Award in Sculpture. He soon made his mark on the art scene as a member of a highly original group of young artists who helped to revive an interest in painting and visual performance. He was a founding member of the noted artists' support  group Colab and its first chairman. Sidestepping the confines  of abstract conceptual art,  McClard's work seethes with figurative content; yet it has nevertheless retained a conceptual element and mines a strong vein of humor. During the 70s he staged provocative  performances such as « Foes v. Foes » at the Kitchen and  surreal, carnivalesque installations at venues such as the Clocktower (« There's Meat on these Bones ») ; PS 1, Institute for Art and Urban Resources,  De Appel, Amersterdam and N.A.M.E Gallery, Chicago. For these presentations, he constructed all sets and props and performed, often as sole actor. His one-act play, « Mumbo Jumbo, » was published in Avalanche 12, Winter 1975. In October 1981, his first large-scale one-man show of paintings and frescoes took place at Mary Boone, occupying both galleries on either side of West Broadway. Drawing on sources from  mythology, history and  everyday life, he created a pantheon of imaginary characters, notable for their tactile raw energy, range of facial expressiveness and astute power of observation. Also featured were  inventive depictions of historical scenes,  acclaimed by critics such as Grace Glueck of the New York Times for their verve and by Hal Foster of Art in America for their metaphysical insights. Many of these works were acquired by New York and Los Angeles public and private collectors. During this period  McClard was also awarded two fellowships by the National Endowment for the Arts, in Visual Arts and Mixed Media. In the 90s McClard took a temporary hiatus from painting to explore new media. He embraced the digital revolution and applied his draughtsmanship skills to the creation of original software with his brother Peter McClard through their dotcom enterprise, Hologramophone Research.  The computer installation «Characters» furthered his interest in human physiognomy by generating an unlimited sequence of drawings of faces and was exhibited in « A visage découvert, » Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain, Jouy-en Josas, France. "We do not just benefit from using and partaking of our humanity. We have a certain kind of divine and natural entitlement to employing our complement for the betterment of our human flourishing in a way that is consistent with the nature of our existence…"— James Poulos The present-day power of digital communications technology is changing everything from politics to our identity in the most fundamental ways, compelling us to leave our humanity behind. So, what can we do to turn this around and save the rights that we still have left? James Poulos is the Executive Editor of The American Mind, the Claremont Institute's online publication devoted to driving the conversation about the ideas and principles that drive American political life. His most recent book, HUMAN, FOREVER The Digital Politics of Spiritual War, shows how the swarm of programs and devices unleashed by our leaders has transformed our lives and defied our dreams, throwing the future into a terrifying doubt. On this episode of The Wiggin Sessions, James joins me to walk us through how the unscrupulous digital age and the drive towards socialization are attempting to destroy not just Western culture but also the very tenants of our humanity. But there is hope. James says, "If enough of us kind of remember who we are, put one foot in front of the other, find each other and do what Americans have always done, which is associate freely and build institutions that work under the circumstances, I think we're going to be okay." Listen in to understand why James thinks the time is NOW for Americans 'to take control and use these digital foundations to sidestep broken systems and create new institutions that serve us, rather than the other way around.' Key Takeaways Why the intersection of AI, social media, and digital communications is powerful enough to change the fabric of our very culture James walks us through how the new media landscape is changing how we view everything from politics to ourselves James defines what he refers to as 'surplus elites' How the revolving door between the government and the Fed's overprinting of money is devaluing what's left of our constitutional rights Why it's vital to prepare our children for the normal rites of passage and embed in them that being human is GOOD How questions that can only be answered through theology are ushering in a return to religious sensibility in the US and abroad James shares why it's our ‘patriotic duty' to take active responsibility for managing our digital lives in the fight for the future of not just America but humanity as we know it How we can 'use digital foundations to sidestep broken systems and create new institutions that serve us, rather than making us serve them" Connect with James Poulos James on Twitter Connect with Addison Wiggin Consilience Financial Be sure to follow The Wiggin Sessions on your socials. Soundscapes: Adventureland Follow along with the show notes below! Want More Here With The Magic? Visit The Website: https://herewiththemagic.com Watch Here: https://www.youtube.com/HereWithTheMagic Connect on Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/herewiththemagic Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/herewiththemagic/   (3:07) Far from the gilded turrets of Cinderella Castle and the gleaming spires of Space Mountain, there is a hidden oasis in the heart of the Magic Kingdom, where whispers can be heard of legends long lost to the lush overgrowth climbing along riverbanks and into treetop dwellings.  Here, the persistent thrum of tiki drums is the very heartbeat of this place, inspiring the curious adventurer in each of us to wander deeper and deeper into the jungle…into the heart of Adventureland. (5:12) Over the timbered drawbridge and into the warmth and welcome of the Sunshine Tree Terrace, the Little Orange Bird is the first of many friendly locals to greet us on our journey. From his favorite perch in the sunshine tree, he twitters away as the tropical aromas of coconut and pineapple, bright citrus and sweet vanilla swirl in the air. Intoxicating and irresistible, who could pass up a cool, refreshing treat on a hazy day in the Florida sunshine? Dole whip floats all around? We think so. (6:24) Savoring our tropical delights, the bright flutes and steel drums sing in cadence with the flavors of the tropics on our palette, deepening our reverie into the warm, endless summertime of an island paradise.  On we wander, yielding to the journey and the unfolding story within this space as we savor each moment and detail, unconcerned with where exactly we'll end up or how long it might take to get there.  (8:11) In the distance, we hear the unmistakable sound of a riverboat whistling into motion, churning along some waterway we cannot see. Its summons is inviting, but this lush little corner of the Kingdom is too charismatic to abandon so soon. There is still much to explore… As we approach the rotunda of flying carpets soaring above Adventureland, we notice a mysterious arrangement of percussive sentinels to our left. Sidestepping the golden camel (he spits!) we discard our apprehensions in favor of curiosity.  (8:37) A quintet of whimsical tiki gods, each full of rhythm and riotous fun, seem to have enamored the youngest adventurers with their silly expressions and even sillier surprises. Filling the winding pathways with a hazy mist, their Magic is both playful and enigmatic, relieving trepidation and inviting curiosity. Through the billowing fog and past the much drier wit and banter of the world-famous Jungle Cruise, a temple towers above almost every other structure in Adventureland, escalating in perfectly identical layers, like some enchanted confection crafted by a master pâtissier. (9:27) Among the gardens and grounds leading to the legendary Magic within, we find another kind of Tropical Serenade. Here, rushing waterfalls and flourishing island foliage cultivate a hidden oasis beneath the thatched roofs. The gentle strum of a guitar and the trill of a xylophone accent the natural symphony so serenely. For the first time since we've entered Adventureland, we find ourselves in a space of unexpected solitude. A hideaway from the well-worn paths and more notable attractions all around us, this place is palpably more peaceful, hushed beneath the low-lying rooftops and held by the continuous cascade of waterfalls.   Here, we experience the fullness of rest that is synonymous with an island retreat; the feeling of slowing down, breathing more deeply, of being at ease. Here, the scintillating sounds and sweet aromas of the natural world have triumphed over the manufactured, whose contributions only enhance our awareness of being in a moment of quiet, a place of joyful respite. If we were not aware of them at all, we might not appreciate this space for what it is: engaging, rejuvenating…Magical.  (12:20) And suddenly, the true enchantment of the temple is manifested as the spirits of the tropics and goddesses of the elements come to life with chanting and lively rhythms, stirring us from our peaceful reverie. As the rest of the slowly forming crowd is beckoned into the Sunshine Pavilion for their tropical serenade, we bid farewell to the tiki room in pursuit of something a little more devil-may-care, if you will. (13:15) The swashbuckling, swarthy pirates of the Caribbean beckon to our spirit of fun and daring with a mighty and resounding “Yo-Ho,” and so we venture onward to the fiddle strings and finagling of Caribbean Plaza. Here, the change of tone is audible - lithe and exciting and full of the promise of adventure.  (14:25) In Adventureland, we can reconnect with the more imaginative side of ourselves, abandoning our realities in favor of something that makes us feel held and at home.  These stories, these spaces…they make our lives feel richer and more resonant. They bring us joy in seasons of uncertainty. They fill us with a sense of peace that helps to see us across the stormy waters and safely back to shore. (17:50) And although the longings of smarmy pirates could not be further from our own, there is a connection that we find when we are Here, when we listen without visual context…when our imaginations have to fill in the gaps for us. That is when we are truly set free.  (20:11) Come along into the caverns of the Caribbean, where hidden treasure is guarded by legend and lore and dead men tell no tales. Listen to the crash of the sea and the shouts of the scurvy swashbucklers themselves. Listen for those quintessential shouts of “Don't tell him Carlos, don't be cheeeecken!” and “We wants the rum!” and keep your mind's eye peeled for Captain Jack Sparrow himself.  Be transported by the sights and scents, music and madness of this centuries-lost Caribbean village. Sing along with the melody of “A Pirate's Life for Me,” or toss in a couple harmonies, if you're feeling adventurous. In the quest for what you seek, you may find a treasure far richer than gold. So chart a course into the unknown, and let your imagination set sail.  (22:20) Above deck and back out into the sunshine, we bid a fond farewell to our favorite pirates and set off into another tale entirely. Always one jump ahead of the breadline and one swing ahead of the sword, Aladdin would certainly give those pirates a run for their money.  (24:22) In this Agrabanian marketplace, a disturbance of jewels are scattered across the hard clay earth, no doubt the mischievous doing of that precocious little scallywag, Abu. All around, allusions to the mysterious story of our favorite street rat and his Arabian princess are on display in the marketplace.  From Magic lamps on spindly tables to tajines and ornate tapestries, this place is a treasure trove if ever there was one, a cave of wonders for us to delight in and enjoy. Flying carpets soar above the bustling marketplace, off to a whole new world with undoubtedly fantastic points of view.  (25:44) But we know a secret that they do not. We know a place with a view unmatched by any that Genie's Magic carpets could offer…and it's right Here, in Adventureland.  (26:14) The jaunty lilt of polka music and the gentle rush of waterfall draw us up, up, up…into the treetop residence of a certain Swiss family by the surname “Robinson,” who seem to have harnessed all their creative ingenuity into building this incredible oasis in the heart of the tropical wilderness. Complete with pulleys and outlooks, living and dining areas, and a working waterwheel, this treehouse is the most elaborate of any storybook or backyard, making it the perfect hideaway in the sky. As the tallest structure in all of Adventureland, our vista from the uppermost outlook is overarching - an umbrella which holds in the sunshine, rather than blocking out the rain. (28:12) Whether you climb up Here to indulge in some truly breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom, or just to find a moment of respite from the revelry, this is one of the most serene spaces in all of Walt Disney World, and we invite you to be Here With us for a moment of pause and peaceful reflection.  Maybe it's golden hour in your mind's eye, and the sun is dipping lower into the horizon, casting a warm, gilded light over everything. Maybe it is nighttime, and the stars so invisible from the marketplace below come alive from this highest height, where nothing but the melodic churn of the water wheel in time with the music infringe on the absolute stillness. Are there fireworks bursting into the inky sky in the distance? Why not! (30:00) Whatever time of day you picture yourself Here, give yourself fully to it. Craft every detail in your imagination; the scent on the air, the coolness of the breeze, the people passing by below. Every sharpened nuance and singular sound brings us Here more vividly than perhaps when we have actually stood in this space, because right Here and now, this moment is yours. Yours to design, yours to discover, yours to make perfect.  Fill it with joy or quiet reflection, elation or serene solitude. Let it be what you need, an adventure or a departure. That is what being Here With the Magic is - being present in a space through the lens of your imagination.  However you wonder, let your mind wander. You cannot get lost Here. This is an adventure that could only ever lead you home.
