Kevin Cooney is in tonight and he starts the show by stating he would rather see the Phillies play the Dodgers in the NLDS, rather than the Reds. He states that the Reds have a starting rotation that the Phillies would not want to see this postseason. Also the Reds have former Phillies manager Tito Francona who has had postseason success with Boston and Cleveland. Meanwhile Kevin is confident that the Phillies could continue their success against the Dodgers. We have a brief conversation about Quentin Grimes as he remains a restricted free agent of the 76ers. Kevin would like to know how did the team come to this point with Grimes as training camp is right around the corner. Now with the Eagles the talk of the town has been about AJ Brown's tweet after their win over Tampa Bay. Kevin provides his thoughts on AJ Brown, Kevin Patullo and the Eagles offense.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

What happens after you flush? Most of us don't think about it—but maybe we should. In this eye-opening episode, we dive into one of the ocean's biggest but least discussed threats: wastewater pollution.Join us as we talk with Jos Hill, Program Director for The Nature Conservancy's Wastewater Pollution Program and creator of the groundbreaking podcast "waste(d)water." Jos reveals the shocking scale of this crisis: 80% of wastewater worldwide is inadequately treated, 58% of coral reefs are exposed to wastewater pollution, and wastewater accounts for a staggering 40% of coastal nutrient pollution—nearly as much as agriculture.Discover how even highly treated wastewater can devastate marine ecosystems, why coral disease outbreaks in the Florida Keys have been traced back to human gut pathogens, and how nutrient-rich wastewater is making coral reefs more vulnerable to marine heat waves and climate change. But this isn't just doom and gloom—Jos shares inspiring recovery stories from Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii and Tampa Bay in Florida, proving that when pollution is addressed, ecosystems can bounce back. Learn about innovative nature-based solutions, including treatment gardens that clean water while growing food for coastal communities. From the intersection of wastewater pollution and social justice to practical steps you can take in your own community, this conversation breaks the taboo around a topic that affects every person on the planet. As Jos reminds us: everyone goes to the toilet, so this issue is relevant to everyone. It's time to start talking about the dirty secret of ocean pollution—because we can't solve problems we won't discuss.Featured Guest: Jos Hill, Program Director, Wastewater Pollution Program, The Nature ConservancyLearn more: Check out the waste(d)water podcast and follow @wastedwaterpod wherever you listen to podcasts.

Guests: Blue Jays infielder Ernie Clement, pitchers Jeff Hoffman and Eric Lauer As the Blue Jays prepare to play in the American League Division Series for the first time since 2016, we take you back onto the field in the wake of their division-clinching win Sunday. Ernie Clement is the poster boy for the Jays' cast of unsung heroes and versatile contributors, and he joins us to talk about his multiple roles over the course of the season and how his flexibility was once again put on display by playing three different positions in Sunday's season finale. Eric Lauer may have saved the season by stabilizing the pitching staff when he was called up at the end of April, and he had the ball in his glove when the season ended, stepping on first to retire Tampa Bay's Jonathan Aranda for the final out. He talks about bouncing back from a 2024 in which he got released by two major-league organizations and wound up pitching in South Korea, and what he's doing with the ball from the 27th out. Closer Jeff Hoffman was on the National League East champion Philadelphia Phillies last season, who also got a first-round bye, and we talk to him about what the Jays will do with five days off and how the break could affect them in the next round. All that, plus we open up the mailbag at deepleftfield@thestar.ca for your questions and comments!

Send us a textFor this edition of Brewstilled, I'm recapping week 4 for the 2025 NFL season. In week 4, we saw some team's comeback while a team like the Ravens might have ended their season. The Jaguars won against the 49ners in an upset win as they now rise to 3-1. The Falcons secured a big win as their offense had a big day. Tampa Bay got their first loss of the season as the Eagles remain undefeated. The Chargers also got their first loss of the season as they faced a surprise loss to the New York Giants. Did the Chargers get exposed by the Giants? Also, will the Chargers depleted offensive line sink their season? The Raiders might be better off losing after their loss to the Bears. The Cowboys faced off against The Packers in their highly anticipated game that had a rather poetic ending. All this and more will be discussed here on Brewstilled with Tea as the beverage pairing.
Neil and Jeff are not alone! Phoebe joins the team to review another 'out of this world' weekend of NFL action! Week 4 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 31-25 down at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay. They are now 4-0 on the season and right at the top of the NFC East division. This game was certainly a tale of two halves with he Eagles offense being dominant and in control in the first half, and completely anemic in the second.Jalen Hurts showed how he's a top-tier quarterback in the NFL to start this game as he was 15/16 for 130 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 140.1 passer rating in the first half. The second half stalled and didn't progress well for Hurts, his receivers, or the rushing attack. While the offense didn't put up great-looking numbers, they got the job done and helped secure a win.The defensive pass rush is the most pressing issue facing the Eagles as it's almost nonexistent. While the defense had two sacks today, they only had one quarterback hit and weren't able to rattle Bucs QB Baker Mayfield. Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean were, however, such strong defenders in this game. They were definitely the MVPs of the defense. As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
Once again a tale of two halves. And this second half offensively was as pathetic as any team has ever played offense in the history of this league. Yet somehow the Eagles are 4-0 after a 31-25 win over Tampa Bay. Lots to go over.https://sportspyder.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/news?pid=4349

Will the Eagles' offense be able to get going against Todd Bowles' defense? Yahoo Sports' Andrew Siciliano, Jori Epstein and Ben Fawkes bring you their best analysis of the biggest games of the Week 4 slate, starting with Philly's matchup against Tampa Bay. They move on to preview the showdown between two Super Bowl hopefuls with losing records, the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. Who needs the win more to turn their season around? The crew also breaks down Jaxson Dart's first start vs. the Chargers defense, Micah Parsons' revenge game against the Dallas Cowboys and more. They finish the show up with a fun chat: Which 0-3 team needs a win the most this weekend? Find out who they picked on today's show!(6:23) - Eagles vs. Buccaneers(14:57) - Ravens vs. Chiefs(23:02) - Vikings vs. Steelers(30:29) - Chargers vs. Giants(39:11) - Colts vs. Rams(45:27) - Packers vs. Cowboys(53:09) - Which 0-3 team needs a win the most?
Nick Sirianni hasn't lost much in his four-plus seasons as Eagles head coach, but there's one team that has his number: Tampa Bay. He's 1-4 all-time against the Buccaneers. The Eagles' two most recent defeats to the Bucs, road games in the Wild Card round of the 2023-24 playoffs and Week 4 of the 2024 regular season, were so embarrassing they threatened Sirianni's job security. But there's far more to the Eagles' struggles in Tampa than heat. Sirianni's counterpart, Bucs head coach Todd Bowles, has proven a pesky, painful thorn in the Eagles' side. As the Eagles travel to Raymond James Stadium for the third time in two years, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane examines how Bowles' blitzes have posed problems for the Eagles, and what Sirianni, quarterback Jalen Hurts, and the rest of the offense can do to counter them in Sunday's battle of unbeatens. 00:00 Welcome to Tampa: nightmare city 02:35 Why Todd Bowles has been so good vs. the Eagles 12:19 How Nick Sirianni, Kevin Patullo, and Jalen Hurts can hack Bowles' blitzes unCovering the Birds is a production of The Philadelphia Inquirer and KYW Newsradio Original Podcasts. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for a huge Week 4 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the big question is whether star players Tristan Wirfs and Chris Godwin will be back on the field. In this episode of the Cannon Fire Podcast, we break down the latest Bucs injury report, preview key matchups to watch, and discuss what Tampa Bay needs to do to come out on top against one of the NFC's toughest opponents.
Coach Dick Vermeil joined the 94 WIP Morning Show to discuss the Eagles vs. Bucs matchup this weekend in Tampa Bay. Coach Vermeil is impressed with the Eagles resilience even when they create their own issues. He is also fond of Jalen Hurts' play.
The 94 WIP Morning Show believes Walker Buehler should be the Phillies' 4th starter in the playoffs- they've like what they've seen since the Phillies signed him late in the season. The Eagles travel to Tampa Bay to face the Bucs this weekend. Not only will Todd Bowles' defense be a challenge (Eagles 1-4 in last 5 games vs. Bowles defense) but the heat will play a factor too.
The Phillies are headed to the post-season with a first round bye. When the time comes, who will their pitchers be? Will Walker Buehler be their fourth? SVP and Stanford Steve break down all the action from Week 3 in the NFL. Starting with the Monday Night Football thriller, how great are the Lions? Are we worried about the Ravens? What's going on with Derrick Henry? Then SVP takes attendance in Pooptown, as four teams are currently residing there. Plus, more on the Chargers' hot start, Jaxson Dart being named QB1, Tampa Bay, San Francisco and a small look ahead to next week, specifically the Ravens @ Chiefs game as one of those teams leaves 1-3. The guys then shift gears to college ball, as there's a great Week 5 ahead. Thoughts on the Ohio State-UW game, the big ones in State College & Athens and more, including Steve's shoes reveal and a word of advice to the newly bald Will Compton. | SVPod Approximate Timecodes: (0:00) Intro (2:20) MNF reaction – Lions are GOOD (10:30) What's wrong with Derrick Henry (13:35) Amon-Ra is THAT DUDE (20:00) Current residents of Pooptown (25:32) Ravens @ Chiefs preview (27:30) Chargers keep winning (29:07) More NFL Wk 3 takeaways (35:05) Jaxson Dart named starter – reaction (37:40) Rapid fire stats (41:23) Oklahoma State fires Mike Gundy – reaction (50:10) Shoutout Rece Davis (50:51) Steve's shoes reveal (53:36) College GameDay is headed to State College!
