Act 2 launches this Tuesday with a new mode called Court of Blades. It takes inspiration from Destiny 1 Court of Oryx. It has an augment system similar to what WoW had in Torghast. 5 new weapons are tied to this activity. Guardian games also launches with Act 2. Guardian games has a boss rush mode as an activity. Bungie had a developer stream last week going over Act 2, and gave information on new things coming in Act 3 which launches only 3 weeks after Act 2. Act 3 has a mode coming that is basically what LFR is in Wow but for Destiny 2 dungeons called explorer mode. It seems pretty cool, basically a matchmade activity with a lot of markers and tips in game on how to complete the dungeon. No organized guild activities, there are a handful of us still playing and getting together to run Nightfalls and dungeons. WoW In WoW news, the Liberation of Undermine Raid arrived, with lots of crazy mechanics and a big Vegas vibe. First boss Vexie and the Geargrinders make quite an entrance! You have been warned. Raid Team Kiddie Aggro cleared Normal (Good night, Gallywix) as well as Vexie on Heroic. Alliance Raid team Hell Froze Over downed five bosses on Normal - up to Sprocket-monger Lockenstock. Their progression Team, So Let's Go Skating - picks up right about now with The One-Armed Bandit. Noob Raid defeated two bosses - Vexie and the Cauldron of Carnage (aka Mecha Kong vs Fire Breathing T-Rex) and the weekly World Boss. Great job, Noob Raiders! There is one wing (three bosses) available in LFR for those with gear level 606. On Tuesday, the raid will be available on Story Mode for solo players. You don't get loot but can complete a quest for a nice crafting upgrade item. Delves in Season 2 award a new customizable mount: Delver's Gob-Trotter, and Bran can now tank,

Episode 11 – Up All Night Show Notes Welcome to Episode 11! – 3:25 (10:00 pm) The goal of this episode was to throw age to the wind and unwisely pull an all-nighter enjoying the final days of Dragonflight and recording an episode. The segments of the show are broken up by hours in the all-nighter! Stick around to find out how it goes. July News – 7:43 (11:00 pm) Midsummer Fire Festival – I did lots of levelling and proved that the new bad luck protection system works perfectly fine by getting the Fire Festival Drake armor on my very first attempt. Sorry Jason from the Starting Zone. Thanks Blizz, but remember me again at Brewfest. Pre-patch for The War Within, the tenth expansion, launches this Tuesday (today)! Long maintenance is a guarantee. Be patient. Remember two things. First, the pre-patch event for 11.0 is called the Radiant Echoes and it DOES NOT LAUNCH on Tuesday. Second, Warbands launch when you log in and creating yours will take time on your first login. Preview of pre-patch – Really, the only other news worth mentioning at this moment is the rest of the pre-patch. Wowhead article: https://www.wowhead.com/guide/the-war-within/pre-patch-overview All DF raids and world bosses become awakened Skyriding is available Cross-realm guilds are available Leveling requirements reduced, especially from 60 to 70 End of Dragonflight – 31:32 (12:00 am) End of expac checklist. What's yours? Mine is being pieced together as we chat Thoughts on Renown - felt like a big burden and tell me how it is different from reputations, Derek Zoolander. If I make a Blue Steel joke in the show notes, does it ever get read? WoD and DF similarities based on comments by Denathar on his podcast Azeroth United – 2 expansions when developers were looking ahead to a game-changing next expansion, one more successful than the other Follower dungeons – all benefit, no downside, which means…wait for it…#giveusFollowerRaids TWW Topics – 52:40 (1:00 am) Really just a rant about Pathfinder and support for “Steady Flying” Delve Testing and Preview 1:01:54 (2:00 am) Playing beta characters is tough Hanging with Brann as your support Delves are a bit of a puzzle, a series of quests, objectives, etc. as we have seen in instanced scenarios/activities before, but maybe the best version of its predecessors Has some Torghast like power-ups here and there. Brann suggests pausing to sit by the fire after combat to hear and get you well fed. There are boxes and chests with helpful gear and respawn points. Boss at the end with a treasure room full of rewards Hearing voices and then a Remix update – 1:12:01 (3:00 am) Wait, did we make it? Man, it felt good to buy out the mount vendor! Also, I didn't mind running groups in MoP Remix because there is literally no interactions with others and no challenge to the content, virtually at any level. Raid of the Month: Mogu-Shan Vaults – 1:22:12 (4:00 am) The primary drop is the Astral Cloud Serpent mount, one of my faves and a previous target of mine. Lorewalker Cho and some slow to come to life bosses make this a slow farm, but the mount is great if you didn't get it in MoP Remix. And in Remix, there is an amazing golden version called the Astral Emperor's Serpent. Go get it! Final thoughts on Dragon Flight and the direction of WoW – 1:34:10 (5:00 am – close to dawn of a different day) DF saved WoW as Blizzard pulled itself out of a terrible place; Blizzcon 2023 ended my debate over whether to continue with the game and it resurrected Solo Queue because of the three pillars: Delves, Warbands, and Follower Dungeons. Dragon Flight brought the story of WoW back to Azeroth and the familiar after the Shadowlands. Follower Dungeons might be one of the few features launched in WoW to have no real negative reaction, benefits for solo players, and even benefits for group players. Extend that Follower Dungeon tech to a Raid setting. Coming solo features remind me of Mage Tower in Legion, my single proudest moment (beating the Feral Druid challenge). Idea of adding a small level of challenge to old dungeon/raid farming, but not before Follower Raids! Lastly, Warbands, the big change that arrives with pre-patch. Denathar of Azeroth United said this is the shift from a game that recognizes what the character accomplishes to a game that recognizes what the player accomplishes. 61 characters will be in my Warband soon, all sharing their loot. DF brought WoW back and the future looks great! Outro – 1:48:20 (Sunrise!) Thanks to Blizzard and OGRE for audio, my lovely wife, and you for listening. As Shadowlands draws to a close, emallson and Anomoly are taking some time to look back at the expansion with the benefit of hindsight. This week on the podcast, we're looking at patches 9.0 and 9.0.5 in particular. What was the good? the bad? the ugly? Were covenants actually that bad at launch? Spoiler: yes.

Welcome to The Starting Zone Podcast, The World of Warcraft Podcast for New and Experienced Players! On this special episode, Spencer Downey and Jason Lucas discuss the upcoming 9.2 content release with Morgan Day! Episode #488: Talking 9.2 with Morgan Day! is ready for Download! The foundation of the questions we asked Morgan New Zone: Zereth Mortis How did working through the pandemic affect the plan for Shadowlands and getting a new zone added to each patch? This seems like a natural place for Shadowlands' story to resolve, but what went into actually getting it there? What is the plan for Legendary crafting in 9.2? We know we get the new materials from Zereth Mortis. How do we get them and about how long after patch would you expect players to have their first top-rank Legendary? Will we still need Rank 4 or Rank 6 base items to get started ? Will we still need Soul Ash/Soul Cinders to craft a new Legendary from scratch? Will there be Conduit upgrade items via Zereth Mortis? Are Conduits going up 2 more ranks, similar from S1 to S2? What kind of catchup mechanics are being planned to get characters to baseline relevance with the Conduit system at the outset of 9.2? New Feature: Cypher of the First Ones What can players expect from the Cypher in regards to progression? Is it gated weekly, similar to Renown? Is there player choice in which upgrades unlock when? Are unlocks account-wide to any degree? How do we advance our progress at the Cypher? Are there specific tasks/quests, fill-the-bar style activities, lootable items similar to Archivist's Codex, or something else entirely? Are we “speccing out” the Cypher, so to speak, choosing certain upgrades/perks at the expense of others, or does every character eventually get the full slate of benefits? New Raid: Sepulcher of the First Ones Can you talk a bit about the factors that went into the decision to time-gate the initial release? Can players expect a big shift in gameplay or the zone when they return the week after defeating the Anduin encounter? Are there plans for unlockable skips? What about fast-travel points around the raid zone, like Hellfire Citadel had? With tier pieces being available from other sources, is there an intent to put uniquely powerful items in the new raid? We saw probably not enough of that in Castle Nathria and maybe a bit too much in Sanctum of Domination. How is the team feeling about raid encounter length at the top end? Should we expect more 12-15 minute marathons? Did the team feel basing boss phase transitions on health, like on KT, was effective? It resulted in many teams having unwanted “hold dps” phases, is that something we might see in this raid? Great vault loot restricted behind bosses killed? New Loot: Class Sets Return Will the set bonuses be per class or per spec? Are there unique effects in Raid/M+/PvP or a set pair of bonuses per set? How many total pieces of each set are there? Is the goal with the class sets to shake up gameplay/rotations/priority or more to provide passive bonuses on top of what we're already doing? With set pieces dropping again, it would be nice to have tokens back. Has there been any thought about bringing Master Loot back? Shadowlands Season 3 Extrapolating high keystone versions of Tazavesh is a bit intimidating at the moment. Will we see changes to bring these dungeons in line with the rest of the pool? Operation: Mechagon was pretty on par with the rest of BFA, the additions to Legion were pretty big outliers. The Season 2 affix has been pretty fun, anything you can talk about regarding the plan for Season 3? We haven't seen anything in SL that affected dungeon routes the way Awakened did for example in BFA, is that a concept that might be revisited? How is the team feeling about the way Mythic + Rating/Valor have worked out in Season 2? Any notable updates coming in Season 3 or should we expect a similar path, just with 2 more dungeons in the pool? We know there are Torghast updates coming and new layers. Will Torghast still be a source for 9.2 Legendary mats or is that being 100% shifted to Zereth Mortis? Any updates to the Box of Many Things? What kind of new stuff will there be for Torghast players to chase? How does the team feel about the Great Vault this expansion? Any thoughts on adding some kind of duplicate logic to the system or a streak-protection/currency type of option? Looking ahead, what were the lessons the team learned over the course of Shadowlands and how are they informing future design? Trying to reach the show? Freude lässt die beiden aber angesichts des bevorstehenden Race to World First erstrahlen.

Torghast changes and cosmetics are discussed, old-as-balls wizards are compared & contrasted, and our Sexiest NPC of the World bracket enters its final iteration. Growliina returns and Slide tells BLATANT LIES about Aaron's ability to play spooky games. Please send all your love mail, hate mail, and pictures of any other Resident Evil 8 NPC (there are more scares than the big boobah vampire, gang) to @DoNotRelentPod (Twitter) or on gmail at DoNotRelentPod@gmail.com! Ali, Toasty and Medros are back to discuss the latest news from the 9.1 PTR including Soul Cinder drop rate in Torghast, scoring in Torghast, talent trees in Torgast, and more

Welcome to The Starting Zone Podcast, The World of Warcraft Podcast for New and Experienced Players! On this episode Spencer Downey and Jason Lucas asked their Patrons "What is your #1 wish list item for 9.1 and beyond?" on the April 2021 Patron Q&A! Episode #452: April Patron Q&A! is ready for Download! Do you think when people get their BiS they will stop playing? Would you rather get CE in the first 2 weeks of progression but have to raid everyday, or only wipe 3 times on each boss but get CE on the last possible day? What is 'real' wow to you? What is the biggest change in 9.1 you are looking forward to and what’s another you would like to see put in? Do you think WoW would be better with a more frequent yet smaller content cycle? i.e. rather than waiting nine months for Patch 9.1. Instead, after two months, we get the new dungeon, then Torghast changes two months later, then the Maw changes in another two months, and finally the new raid eight months after 9.0. What are your thoughts on healer dps as it applies to mythic plus and raids? Do you guys think that all healers should be able to contribute damage or that the outliers like hpal and disc priest need to be brought back in line? I’m also intrigued by tier sets coming back, I’ve never raided when tier sets were a thing so was wandering what your favourite specific tier set bonus was from yesteryear?
If you haven't heard about the auction house addon TradeSkillMaster, then you are in for a treat. In this episode 5, the main topic is TradeSkillMaster. We gonna cover some interesting things about the addon with the support manager and WoW economy owner Gumdrops who will also tell us about the latest things in TradeSkillMaster 4.11. We also gonna talk about the Legion herbs, Torghast changes that affect the market and the upcoming event 'Love is in the Air', so crank up that volume knob and enjoy the show.

Also alles gut?
