In this episode, we speak with Andrew Jensen, founder and director of Fox Jensen, one of Australia's leading contemporary art galleries and Fox Jensen Mccrory, alongside Emma Fox and Sarah Mccrory. Andrew discusses the evolution of the gallery, from its beginnings to its current presence in both Sydney and New Zealand. We explore the changing landscape of contemporary art, what makes a successful artist gallery relationship, and how a commercial gallery balances artistic vision with the realities of the art market. The conversation also touches on collecting, the international art scene, the enduring significance of painting, and the role galleries play in supporting artists throughout their careers. Andrew shares insights from decades of experience working closely with established and emerging artists, offering a candid look at the challenges and opportunities facing contemporary art today.Whether you're an artist, collector, curator, or simply interested in contemporary culture, this episode provides a thoughtful perspective on the business, passion and commitment behind running a leading gallery.'Andrew Jensen opened the gallery in New Zealand in 1988 and over the course of more than thirty-five years it has set itself aside in terms of its seamless presentation of international work alongside the most considered practices from the region. In early 2011 the gallery expanded to Australia opening a second gallery in Sydney.Multiple exhibitions by major artists such as Imi Knoebel, Fred Sandback, Tony Oursler, Helmut Federle, Günter Umberg, Winston Roeth, Lawrence Carroll, Elisabeth Vary and Callum Innes altered and enriched the local conditions. These exhibitions continued to provide the basis for an increasingly expansive approach that has seen the curated aspect of the gallery grow. There have been numerous notable projects over the last decade or more including E=MC2, Naked, The Architecture of Colour, Six Degrees of Separation, Points of Orientation, Detox, Melancholia, The Authority of Death, Farben, Saturation, There's Joy in Repetition, Portrait without a Face, Eros, Permafrost and more recently Raven, Plastic Soul, Terrain, No One's Rose & Rain. The galleries' programs have developed a welcome richness and energy with the inclusion of a newer generation of international artists including Jan Albers, Mark Francis, Hanns Kunitzberger, Sofie Muller, Erin Lawlor, Liat Yossifor, Koen Delaere, Jane Bustin and Gideon Rubin. Alongside this, artists from the region include Aida Tomescu, Tomislav Nikolic, Matthew Allen, Geoff Thornley, Robert Malherbe, Jenny Topfer, Todd Hunter and Gary McMillan. The galleries are also privileged to hold the Estate of Bill & Pip Culbert. With the opening of the major new gallery space in Sydney in late 2025 the galleries have both expanded and consolidated its program. In 2026 the galleries are presenting works by celebrated artists Ian Davenport (UK), Paul Czerlitzki (POL), Ingo Meller (GER), Ulrike Schulze (GER), Gerold Millar (GER) and Lucienne O'Mara (UK). Fox Jensen, Sydney and Fox Jensen McCrory, Auckland are run in close partnership with its artists by Andrew Jensen, Emma Fox and Sarah McCrory. An effective ERP implementation strategy starts long before any software is selected. Most failures happen not during deployment, but during planning—when organizations rush into tools without clearly defining outcomes, aligning teams, or preparing their processes. In this episode, Dustin Domerese shifts the conversation from failure to execution. Instead of focusing on what goes wrong, he outlines what a successful ERP implementation strategy actually looks like in practice—from defining problems to managing change and delivering results in smaller, meaningful increments. If the first part of this discussion explains why projects fail, the second part focuses on how to make them succeed. About Dustin Domerese Dustin Domerese is a recognized thought leader in the Microsoft ecosystem, specializing in CRM, ERP, and software transformation. He helps organizations recover failing initiatives and build scalable systems that deliver real results. Drawing on experience with Microsoft, Barclays, EMC2, HP, and multiple successful ventures, Dustin brings a proven track record of guiding businesses through complex technology decisions. Start With the Business Problem One of the most common mistakes in any ERP implementation strategy is starting with the software instead of the business problem. Organizations often jump straight into evaluating platforms—comparing features, vendors, and pricing—without clearly defining what they're trying to achieve. That approach leads to systems that technically work but fail to deliver meaningful outcomes. A better approach is to define success first. People don't buy software—they buy outcomes. The system is just the tool that gets them there. For example, improving customer retention or reducing order errors are real business goals. These outcomes can be measured and tracked. Once they are clearly defined, technology decisions become much easier and far more effective. Without that clarity, even a well-executed implementation can miss the mark. Align Teams Early in Your ERP Implementation Strategy A strong ERP implementation strategy requires alignment across the organization—not just agreement, but shared understanding. Different departments often approach system changes with different priorities. Sales teams may focus on flexibility, operations on efficiency, and finance on accuracy. Without alignment, these competing priorities create friction during implementation. If every stakeholder defines success differently, the system will never feel successful. Alignment ensures that requirements, decisions, and trade-offs all support the same outcome. It also reduces rework later in the project, when conflicting expectations typically surface. This is where many projects begin to drift—long before any code is written or systems are configured. Build a Team That Supports ERP Implementation Strategy Technology projects don't fail because of tools—they fail because of resistance. An effective ERP implementation strategy depends heavily on the mindset of the team responsible for it. If that team is hesitant to adopt new approaches or reluctant to change existing workflows, progress slows immediately. This becomes even more important as AI and automation become part of modern systems. You can't execute a modern ERP implementation strategy with a team that resists modern tools. Teams should be encouraged to explore, experiment, and rethink how work gets done. This includes embracing new technologies and finding ways to integrate them into daily operations. Without that mindset, even the best strategy will stall during execution. Why 90-Day Cycles Strengthen ERP Implementation Strategy Traditional ERP projects often take years to complete. The problem is that businesses don't operate on multi-year timelines anymore. Priorities shift quarterly. Markets change. Teams evolve. A strong ERP implementation strategy accounts for this by breaking work into shorter cycles—typically around 90 days. If you can't deliver meaningful progress in 90 days, your ERP implementation strategy is too large. These shorter cycles force teams to prioritize what matters most. They also create opportunities to adjust direction based on real-world feedback. Instead of trying to deliver everything at once, organizations can build momentum through incremental progress. Momentum and Adoption in ERP Implementation Strategy Momentum plays a critical role in whether a system is adopted or ignored. When teams don't see progress, skepticism grows. But when they see improvements—even small ones—their perception changes. People may resist change—but they rarely resist improvement they can see. Early wins demonstrate value. They build trust in the system and reduce resistance to further changes. Over time, this momentum becomes one of the strongest drivers of adoption. A well-designed ERP implementation strategy doesn't just focus on delivery—it focuses on building confidence. Using AI Within an ERP Implementation Strategy AI is increasingly shaping how organizations approach planning and requirements. Teams are using AI tools to generate ideas, define workflows, and structure RFPs. This can significantly improve the quality and speed of early-stage planning. However, AI introduces new risks that must be managed carefully. AI can strengthen an ERP implementation strategy—but it can also introduce hidden errors. Without proper context, AI-generated outputs may include incorrect assumptions or mismatched requirements. This creates a new challenge: outputs that look correct but don't align with the business. Avoiding "Confidently Wrong" Planning One of the more subtle risks of AI is that it produces answers with confidence—even when those answers are flawed. Organizations may unknowingly include incorrect requirements simply because they trust the output. In some cases, this leads to mismatched systems, unnecessary features, or poor architectural decisions. Bad requirements used to be obvious. Now they look convincing. The solution is to validate everything. AI should support thinking—not replace it. A strong ERP implementation strategy includes human validation at every step. The Future of ERP Implementation Strategy Looking forward, the ERP implementation strategy is likely to evolve alongside AI and custom development tools. It's becoming easier to build targeted solutions that address specific business needs. This opens the door for more flexible and tailored approaches. However, core systems still require stability, trust, and long-term reliability. Most organizations will continue to rely on established platforms while extending them with custom-built solutions. This hybrid approach balances innovation with stability. What a Strong Implementation Looks Like Organizations that succeed tend to follow a consistent pattern: They define clear, measurable outcomes They align stakeholders early They build teams that embrace change They deliver value in short cycles They use AI thoughtfully and validate results These principles are simple—but executing them consistently is what makes the difference. Final Thoughts An ERP implementation strategy is not about selecting the right software—it's about making the right decisions. When organizations focus on outcomes, align their teams, and move in smaller, deliberate steps, they dramatically improve their chances of success. The tools matter—but the strategy behind them matters more. Simple Takeaway If you want your ERP implementation strategy to succeed: Start with the problem Align your team Deliver in smaller cycles Build momentum early Everything else builds from there. Most ERP and CRM implementation efforts don't fail during execution—they fail before the project even begins. In this episode, the hosts sit down with Dustin Domerese, who brings nearly two decades of experience in SAP and Microsoft consulting. Early in the conversation, a clear pattern emerges: companies jump into ERP and CRM implementation without fully understanding what these systems actually are—or what they require from the business. If you've ever seen a project spiral out of control, take years instead of months, or fail to deliver value after launch, the root cause usually starts here. What ERP and CRM Actually Mean (And Why That Matters) One of the first breakdowns in ERP and CRM implementation is a simple one: misunderstanding the tools. CRM—Customer Relationship Management—started as little more than contact tracking. Sales teams logged calls, tracked accounts, and managed pipelines. Over time, that expanded into something much broader. Today's CRM platforms handle marketing automation, customer service interactions, and full lifecycle engagement. ERP is even more misunderstood. Most companies think ERP is just accounting—general ledger, invoicing, maybe some reporting. But ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) goes much deeper. It includes supply chain management, inventory, manufacturing processes, fulfillment, and operational workflows. The distinction matters because ERP and CRM implementation isn't just installing software—it's reshaping how a business operates. And that's where most companies get into trouble. Why ERP and CRM Implementation Projects Fail So Often The numbers behind these projects are hard to ignore: 66% of projects fail 17% threaten the survival of the business 70% of those that launch fail to deliver expected outcomes These aren't edge cases—they're the norm. The instinct is to blame the software. But that's not where the problem starts. Callout: ERP and CRM implementation doesn't fix broken processes—it exposes them. If your workflows are unclear or inconsistent, the system will surface those issues immediately. Companies often assume that software will improve efficiency automatically. In reality, systems introduce structure. If your business doesn't already operate with clarity, that structure creates friction instead of improvement. The SaaS Illusion: Easy Setup, Difficult Reality Modern SaaS platforms have changed the landscape completely. Today, a company can spin up an ERP or CRM system in minutes. Platforms like Microsoft, Salesforce, and NetSuite make it incredibly easy to get started. From the outside, it feels like progress—like the business is leveling up. But there's a hidden problem. Callout: Just because you can launch an ERP or CRM system doesn't mean your organization is ready to operate it. Smaller companies now have access to tools that used to be reserved for large enterprises. They can deliver polished customer experiences, manage complex operations, and automate workflows. But access to tools doesn't equal readiness. This creates a gap between what the software can do and what the business is capable of supporting. The result is frustration, poor adoption, and systems that never deliver on their promise. The Process Problem Most Companies Ignore One of the biggest misconceptions in ERP and CRM implementation is the belief that processes are already defined. Leadership teams often assume their workflows are clear and consistent. But when you actually examine how work gets done, the reality looks very different. Different employees handle the same tasks in different ways. Critical workflows rely on personal habits or undocumented steps. Reporting often depends on spreadsheets owned by individuals. In some cases, entire business functions are held together by workarounds. This becomes a major issue when implementing structured systems. Callout: If you don't understand your current processes, you're not ready to systematize them. ERP and CRM systems require consistency. Without it, they don't improve operations—they expose how inconsistent those operations really are. When Software Becomes a Magnifying Glass A useful way to think about ERP and CRM implementation is as a magnifier. The parts of your business that work well will continue to work well. Experienced employees will still find ways to get their job done. But the weak areas—the unclear processes, the inconsistent decisions, the gaps—become impossible to ignore. Sales is a perfect example. Most organizations believe they have a defined sales process. But when you talk to individual salespeople, each one follows their own approach. What leadership sees as a "standard process" is often just a loose guideline. When a CRM system is introduced, that inconsistency becomes a problem overnight. The Readiness Gap No One Talks About One of the most important insights from this part of the conversation is the gap between tool availability and organizational maturity. Software vendors are incredibly good at building and selling products. They continuously add features, improve capabilities, and expand access to new markets. But they don't control how those systems are adopted. That responsibility falls on the business—and many organizations simply aren't ready. This leads to two common outcomes: Companies adopt systems too early and struggle to keep up Companies delay adoption too long and become stuck in manual workarounds Neither path leads to success. The Real Starting Point for ERP and CRM Implementation The biggest takeaway from this part of the conversation is simple: ERP and CRM implementation should not start with software. It should start with understanding. Before evaluating tools, businesses need to answer basic questions: How do we actually operate today? Where are our processes inconsistent? What problems are we trying to solve? Without those answers, even the best system will struggle to deliver value. Final Thoughts ERP and CRM implementation isn't just a technical project—it's a business transformation. The tools themselves are powerful, but they assume a level of clarity, consistency, and alignment that many organizations haven't achieved yet. That's why so many projects fail before they even begin. The companies that succeed aren't the ones with the best software—they're the ones that understand their business first. Simple Takeaway Before starting an ERP and CRM implementation, don't ask: "What system should we buy?" Ask: "Are we ready for one?" Stay Connected: Join the Developreneur Community

Make ScreenUK.org your next stop. The very crux of beloved sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf comes from how Dave Lister was kept in time stasis for three million years (yes, you read that right) emerging only after a radiation leak killed the rest of the crew. Thus, the series follows Lister—the last living human—as well as a hologram of his old coworker (Rimmer), a humanoid creature who evolved from the offspring of Lister's smuggled pet cat (Cat), the sanitation android (Kryten), and the ship's computer (Holly). At its most functional, the Stasis Booth from Red Dwarf and related technology is meant to keep people from dying of old age during long interstellar voyages. We look at the scientific feasibility of placing living beings in states of suspended animation for long periods of time to slow down or prevent aging, a concept that you probably already know well from when it has appeared elsewhere in popular culture, including 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, and Futurama. What parallels are there to hibernation as we know it in nature? How does Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity factor into this? And what unique combination of sci-fi high concept and cult appeal has made Red Dwarf such an enduring success? Oh yeah, and we might as well discuss what a “red dwarf” actually signifies, too, while we're at it!All these questions and more will be answered (or at least discussed) in the latest episode! Remember that you can join in on the conversation in the comments on our YouTube page, so be sure to like, subscribe, and come back for more!FURTHER READING Do you want to delve a little deeper into the facts, concepts, and stories Hakeem and Tamara referenced in today's episode? Here are a few recommendations!Red Dwarf“Well, that's the show, but the red dwarf itself is the smallest type of star, and the most common type of star in our galaxy. There are tens of billions of them.”See also: The Transit Method.Mass-Energy Equivalence“When Albert Einstein figured out E=MC2, he said there isn't really this thing called mass, there's just all energy. So the existence of mass means the existence of energy. But here's where I'm going to go out on a limb…to me, saying energy exists is the same as saying time exists.”Einstein's Theory of Relativity“Right now, you and I are at rest relative to each other. We're both sitting here on our computers. Which means that together, we're moving through space at zero, and we're moving through time at the speed of light. But if you were to take off in the Red Dwarf going 90% of the speed of light relative to me, everything on board is still in the same time zone as you are. But now you've put so much motion through space that your motion through time, relative to me, has been reduced, but not to the things traveling with you in the spaceship.”The Hibernation Gene“According to genetic evolution studies, the ancestor of all mammals hibernated and there is a hibernation gene in all mammals. Humans, apparently, 400,000 years ago appear to have had the ability to hibernate.”Nematode Worms“These nematodes [are multicellular organisms that were recovered from permafrost] and they're tens of thousands of years old.”No Exit by Jean-Paul SartreThe source of the famed “hell is other people” which Tamara references in discussion about the themes of Red Dwarf.SUGGESTED VIEWINGVirtually everything discussed in this episode can be gleaned from watching the first episode of the series, 1988's ironically titled “The End.” That being said, these are short episodes and short seasons of TV, so you may as well watch the entire first season (or “series” as they're called in the UK) to get a better sense of the overall flavor of the show. The entire series is currently streaming for free on Tubi, so you may as well go press play on “The End” right now.FOLLOW US!Stay in the loop! Man ar tas ir prasījis ļoti daudz laika, līdz esmu kaut cik to drusku sapratis populārā līmenī.
In today's episode, we dive into a profound tale shared by Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks, a distinguished philosophy graduate from Cambridge University who found himself in a thought-provoking exchange while studying Hassidism in Kfar ChaBaD, Israel. The story opens a window into the contrast between secular and spiritual perspectives, highlighted by a conversation between Sacks and a Chassidic student. The student's insight, that while Sacks pondered the existence of G-d, he himself grappled with his role and purpose within G-d's design, sets the stage for our exploration of Kabbalistic concepts of Daat Elyon (Supernal knowledge) and Daat Tachton (terrestrial knowledge). We'll unravel how these perspectives invite us to consider our existence and the world around us not just as physical entities, but as manifestations of Divine energy. Inspired by the wisdom of Albert Einstein's E=MC2, we'll see how everything from the glass on our table to the vastness of the universe is interconnected by this Divine spark. This episode is not just a journey through the intellectual, but a meditation on the spiritual, urging us to recognize the unity and purpose in creation as expressed in the Shema Yisrael prayer and the intricate dance of the Divine in every aspect of our lives.Through the lens of Kabbalah and stories that bridge the gap between the heavenly and the earthly, we'll explore how creation is a dynamic, ongoing act of Divine speech, with each letter of the Hebrew alphabet playing a crucial role in the fabric of existence. This knowledge not only deepens our understanding of the world but also our place within it, emphasizing the importance of living with purpose, recognizing Divine providence in every moment, and the continuous creation that sustains us.Donate Here | https://ndg.chabadsuite.net/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=36Donate Here in US dollars https://ndg.chabadsuite.net/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=15Download this little book and pray. In today's eye-opening episode I hosted Richard Greene, a renowned Communication Strategist, who has earned the title "The Master of Charisma" from The Sunday Times of London, and is often referred to as the “The Best Idea Guy in America." Following his collaboration with Tony Robbins to launch the latter's career in the mid-80s, Richard made a significant pivot by leaving his law practice. His mission: to redefine what is often considered humanity's greatest fear—Public Speaking. Over the course of the past 36 years, he has pursued this mission through the publication of his renowned coffee table book, "Words That Shook The World," as well as through an extensive series of lecture tours spanning 53 countries on 6 continents. Throughout these tours, he has delivered Keynote Addresses on "The 7 Secrets of Public Speaking.” Notably, in 2023, The BBC extended an invitation to Richard to impart his expertise to the world and craft a course on Public Speaking & Communication as part of their "BBC Maestro" Series. Cherishing the idea that “Life happens FOR you not TO you,” Richard strongly believes that if we truly acknowledge the uniqueness of our existence and the opportunities of challenges, we will open up ourselves to the much bigger universe where everything and anything is possible. This will be the redefining moment where we can tap into our authentic passions and turn them into projects by aligning what we love with what we do. However, to arrive at this point, we must question who we are, why we are here and how we can contribute our existential uniqueness to the greater good. Some powerful takeaways from today's episode: Challenges help us understand our purpose Realizing you're one-of-a-kind will allow you to recognize your value and motivate you to share your uniqueness with others People Reinvent their life after something huge happens View life and its challenges as a learning opportunity Your true passion and purpose is the currency that will lead you to fulfillment Links: Richard Green Links and Information: LinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/richard-greene-755ab513 Email: Richard@WordsThatShookTheWorld.com TED Talk: bit.ly/RichardGreeneTEDTalk Website: http://richardgreene.org/ BBC Maestro: Richard Greene | Public Speaking and Communication | BBC Maestro "E=MC2 and The New Definition of God": Amazon.com: E=MC2 & The New Definition of God eBook : Greene, Richard: Kindle Store Tik Tok: Richard Greene (@civicsdean) | TikTok Instagram: https://instagram.com/thecivicsdean?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/richard.greene.399 THE RE:INVENTION EXCHANGE - for more Inspired Content, Blogs, Podcasts, RE:INVENTION Virtual Chats, or to buy a copy of my book RE:INVENT YOUR LIFE! Everyone knows the famous formula E=MC2. Especially if you were a maths nerd as a child - like I was. Many Maths and Physics classes diving deeply into this formula. But what if we looked at it for our business as well. With some simple tweaks, we can create an incredibly powerful formula for our business success, and our wealth creation.

We open discussion by explaining the underlying science behind binaural beats, electromagnetic brain stimulation before jumping into quantum entanglement and the emergence of spacetime from ads/Cft correspondence which echoes the ancient wisdom of hermetic philosophy. In the extended episode we go further down the quantum rabbithole to discuss holograms, neural oscillation, planck's constant, the spooky implications of the double-slit experiment and how to click-out of this reality and into one beyond using proper technique in a game of double-dutch jump rope. In this episode of IP Goes Pop!, Volpe Koenig Shareholders and podcasts hosts, Michael Snyder and Joseph Gushue, explore what intellectual property (trade secrets, trademarks, patents and copyrights) cannot protect. Hint- some things excluded from IP protection include the Laws of Nature such as gravity, the speed of light and even Einstein's theory of relativity E=MC2. Abstract ideas are another. But what other “can't”s stand between you, your idea, and protections for it? To set the table, this episode begins with a pop culture journey through famous “Can't” songs and movies. Moving into the intellectual property segment of the show your hosts explore the question ‘Why can't intellectual property rights protect everything?' In this episode, you will learn some nuances of intellectual property law such as legal reverse engineering and proper vs. improper means of acquiring a trade secret. Michael and Joe break down some of the reasons why some ideas may be better suited for trademark, patent, or copyright protection instead of trade secret protection. If you've ever wanted to know what you can and cannot do in the IP world, this episode is for you! For full show notes and to explore more episodes, please visit www.vklaw.com/newsroom-podcasts.
