This week's episode is a little shorter than usual, because summer is busy and time is of the essence for all! The girlies start off by addressing the elephants in the room: Niki's fresh lip filler (only half a syringe) and Caro's violent hangover. Then they chat about future baby nursery themes because it's never too early to start visualizing those for your unborn children. They end the episode by giving advice on a listener email all about wedding planning with family drama: Do you have to invite your sister just because she's your sister? Who should get an automatic plus one? Who should be allowed in the family photos? Catch the answers to these and more this week on HWH. Xoxo
the proof is in the pudding so the girls decide to interview their husbands for the most relevant perspective on HWH's favorite subjects. Starting with Caroline and her husband, John, this episode is all about date night theories and ideas, the karma of ick of the week, navigating interracial marriage and so much more. Caroline asks John the hard questions, like why does he hate Christmas and what's the right way to have the baby conversation with a guy, and they end with an enlightening game of love or war. The girls are excited to kick off the presence of more guests on the show in 2024.

As initially planned in the series of articles I dedicated to the Hatata (HZY and HWH) in 2013, I would like to examine the roles that these texts have played in the birth of the philosophical discipline, as an academic milieu and an intellectual trend, in Africa and then in the diasporas and black communities worldwide. From the early enthusiasm largely supported by Claude Sumner, who co-founded the philosophy department at AAU, to the current debates, how had those texts been received by African and Western scholars? What does this tell us about the possible tensions between the need to legitimise an 'African thought' and the Western quasi-hegemony on philosophical legitimacy until the second half of the 20th c.? Are the dimensions of the hatata(s) in Ethiopia (and to whom in Ethiopia?) and elsewhere in Africa similar? Could a comparison with the situation of Asian philosophical traditions, rooted in a textual tradition, be useful for understanding the crystallisation that took place around the Hatata? Isn't this call for writing to legitimise African cultures (as was the case with the Charter of the Mandé) a response to a Western model from which it would then be necessary to break away in order to really move towards a decolonisation of minds, or at the very least, which should be recognised as such in order to better understand the effects of intellectual globalisation and the possible mechanisms of domination? All these questions give the directions towards which I would like to orient my analysis in anticipation of the May 2022 conference.

We saw US equities rise on Wednesday, closing out the best month since November, as investors rotated back into tech while weighed down on Biden's big infrastructure spending plan. Over the sea, European markets closed lower as Deliveroo tumbled on its debut, falling as much as 30% and euro zone inflation jumped to 1.3% in March from 0.9% in February. What to watch today:The Aussie market looks set to start the month of April on a positive note, up 0.28%, ahead of the four-day Easter break.Australia's import and export data are out today, as well as retail and home loan data. Both data points are out at 11:30am.Keep an eye on Aussie tech shares such as Xero (ASX:XRO) and Zip (ASX:Z1P) following US tech stocks surging higher overnight. The Oil price fell 0.8% to US$63.66 per barrel off the back of concerns about the market's recovery after OPEC and its allies lowered their 2021 demand growth forecast by 300,000 barrels per day. The Gold price lifted about 1.3%, helped by the dollar's pushback, but elevated US bond yields still puts the metal on course for its worst quarter in 4 years. As for the most traded stocks yesterday from our active trader desk, Bell Direct Advantage they were: 88 Energy (ASX:88E), Houston We Have (ASX:HWH) and Oneview Healthcare (ASX:ONE).Trading ideas:Bell Potter has upgraded its rating on Mayne Pharma (ASX:MYX) from a Hold to a Buy, and has increased its price target by 70% to $0.56 (previously $0.33). Pointerra (ASX:3DP), Healthia (ASX:HLA) & Galaxy Resources (ASX:GXY) are all giving off bullish charting signals according to Trading Central.

It's Episode 17 of the HWH on Saturday, June 27th, 2020. We don't know what happened as the boys are a little tongue-tied this episode and so is the rest of NHL world after Friday's Draft Lottery. However, two people well on their way are former women's hockey senior Abby Thiessen as she heads to Sweden professionally and this week's guest, Craig Dahl. Craig was a former head coach for the St. Cloud State men's hockey team and is now looking toward retirement. Lastly, a new hockey sweater contest has arrived on Twitter. Hosts Nick and Noah then announce the first Two-Line Fan Trivia winner before doing a little Huskies Hat-Trick Trivia challenge of their own: it's 10 questions with four possible answers, but only one is correct. Episode 13 of the HWH will hit close to home. This one is political. The host Nick and Noah will talk the resurgence of the Alabama-Huntsville program, the state of college hockey, and a brief update on the NHL return-to-play protocol. However, 33 minutes into the podcast, the hosts discuss NHL hub cities, including the civil unrest in the Twin Cities, what it means for the world, and how hockey is affected by it. The show finishes up with the positives that we can take away from current events before talking about the best hockey mom stories. This episode explores the proposed changes to the hospital within a hospital (“HwH”) rules, which were published in the Federal Register on April 14, 2017 as part of the Fiscal Year 2018 Medicare Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System and Long Term Acute Care Hospital Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule. This episode describes proposals by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) to limit the application of “separateness and control” requirements and performance criteria because CMS believes these issues are sufficiently covered by Medicare conditions of participation. Brenton Dean is the brazen and intrepid front man and guitarist of The Holy White Hounds. While Brent cockily strides on stage, off stage he is a very humble and honest guy who acknowledges the obstacles placed before him and his band. He also holds a reverence for performing which he feels is sometimes not as respected by others as it should be. The Hound's straight forward rock sound has them winning audiences around the Midwest. We cover the wealth of this as well as; mexican food, growing up South Side, sketchy guitar shops, camping, cutting his teeth in The Dig Angees & La Strange, bestiality, touring, and the making of HWH's newest album "Sparkle, Sparkle."

Ride em cowboy was our mantra this month as we made our way North to attend the Calgary Stampede. This is a traditional rodeo with major side shows to visitor entertained. We attended with the help of Fantasy RV tours who made all of the arrangements. They did a superior job of organizing our activities. Although you probably could have made all of the arrangements ourselves, we chose to participate in the Fantasy tour Rally. They provided good tickets of all of the major events and gave us advice on other interesting activities surrounding the Stampede. We did several bus tours to see the sights of Calgary and used the metro to visit the stampede itself. Camping, such as it was, was in the parking lot of a sport stadium. We were a bit skeptical at first, but this proved to be an ideal central location for our visit. A metro stop was within easy walking distance and they provided metro tickets in our Rally package. The parking lot had temporary water and electric for the RV and nice bath rooms for us. They even provided waste water pump-out mid Rally. Traveling the 1500 miles home was took us a full week as we meandered our way home. We made stops at Blue-Ox (free full hookup camping) and again at HWH (leveling jacks) for some repairs. We also had a chance to once again stay in a COE campground along the Mississippi. These campground are very nice with ample space for large rigs. Most of the developed sites have 50 amp, a cement pad and senior citizen rates of less than $10. We'll be back to visit the many water oriented COE campgrounds again. This episode also features our take on the new iPhone 3Gs. This device is turning into a full fledged computer with the many aps that are available. It does email, web browsing, GPS, compass, calendar, contacts, phone, out of the box. For just a few extra dollars you can add many other functions that are customized to your needs. I used the Auto info ap to keep track of fuel usage, repairs, oil changes and the like - for both vehicles. So it is one device that replaces several paper notebooks and other electronic devices. Sweet! We also purchased a Windows Netbook this month. This is a very small Windows portable computer. 10" screen, 3 pounds, 6 hr battery and full connectivity for internet use. Aong with the iPhones, we are expecting it to get a major workout on our next trip. There is industry news this month and it is not all bad. So take a listen to this months episode (42) and let us know what you think. Ideas and suggestions are always appreciated via email or our listener comment line, 815/230-0772.
