An environmental law professor says it wouldn't make sense to pull out of the Paris Agreement. Speaking to The Country, ACT Leader David Seymour's floated the idea of New Zealand leaving the agreement, suggesting it appears half the world is leaving. It follows US President Donald Trump pulling the United States from the climate deal. Waikato University's Dr Nathan Cooper told Andrew Dickens that while the US is leaving, other big players are likely to stay. He says climate change, which is what the Paris Agreement is there to respond to, is a global challenge. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Nathan and I talk about the issue of being present and productive while working at home. So many practitioners within the high-performance industry are obviously used to going into a facility for their day-to-day work activities. Combining your home and work environments can be a bit of a struggle for some, especially for those who have families. Nathan touches on the fact that his daughter and family are the most important thing to him. But because of the current circumstance, his productive mind acts as a voice in his head that constantly pressure him to be doing work instead of spending quality time with his family. Nathan was vulnerable and honest about his present state of mind. He is a coach that would do anything for his athletes, while also making decisions that are best for his family. Nathan discusses a situation where he turned down a NBL job after initially accepting the job. Nathans experience as a collegiate athlete has helped him become the coach he is today. He has learned from his own coaches over in America and has built his own core coaching values surrounding enjoyment of the game of basketball. Being productive and finding a mentor is something that Nathan highly recommends for up-and-coming coaches. Nathan has had amazing mentors throughout his time as a coach. Building a network within any industry is paramount for growth, and doing it early is key to success. https://www.linkedin.com/in/nathan-cooper-brown-711011b8/ https://twitter.com/coachncb?lang=en https://basketballvictoria.com.au/team_member/nathan-cooper-brown/

On this episode of Reporting as Eligible, Paul interviews Nathan Cooper and John Todd of Sports Info Solutions about the Packers big needs in the draft, likely targets, whether Jordan Love was a good idea, if the quarterbacks in the 2021 draft would have been better options, and a bunch of receivers who sounds like they would fill the Tyler Ervin role beautifully. They also preview the 2021 SIS Rookie Handbook, now available ActaSports.com, or wherever you buy your yearly sports annuals. Paul then talks all things Packers with Acme Packing Company managing editor Tex Western, including our reactions to Joe Barry and Maurice Drayton’s initial press conferences, the Packers’ rather dire cap situation, the fact that they have no receivers signed after this year, and the best way to go about adding cornerbacks to this team. They also say a fond farewell to Aaron Jones, who is going to get paid by someone else. In this episode I talk with Visionary Artist and host of the 'Autistic Psychedelic Zoom Meet-Up', Nathan Cooper. We discuss how psychedelics impacted his experience with Autism and Complex PTSD, and how psychedelics can be an effective treatment for those issues. Nathan is also creator of the 'Eyedalas' visionary art series, which is an expression of his experience with psychedelics. Come on in!..www.eyedalas.comNathan Cooper's Bio:ArtThrough my art I aim to evoke the feeling and ineffable nature of a visionary experience. At the intersections of shape and color, many hidden images emerge. Each represents the exploration of self, in the unfolding manifestations of the mind.MyselfI have Autism. I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD from childhood. As a consequence I had ceased to create art for nearly 30 years. A visionary experience exorcised much of the trauma I carried from childhood, giving me a new life. It brought an immediate and significant reduction of depressive and anxious thoughts. I suddenly was free from a torment of mind that I wasn’t aware existed until it did no longer. I was renewed with energy, free from those thoughts. For the first time in my life, I could appreciate myself.Another experience a couple years later, unlocked the ability to create this art. It isn’t deliberate, but instead flows through me. I have from my mind an infinite source of content to draw upon and it excites me to create and share it with others. This journey has renewed an intense passion for life, creativity, and experience.Thank you for your interest and appreciation. Topic: After the mining Boom Segment: Chit Chat Chit chat is a new segment, where my friend Nathan Cooper from and I discuss and issue that's currently circulating the news, or current affairs. Nathan runs a plumbing company in Brisbane Australia and he's a wealth of knowledge and experience on many interesting topics. These podcasts are 100% unrehearsed. We literally choose a topic to talk about and have the discussion. They're designed to break up the format a little, so let us know what you think in the show notes. Co-host: Nathan Cooper from Citi Plumbing Brisbane In the news lately there was a discussion about young tradies that were working the mining boom and what has happened to them since the mines have taken a downturn. Here's the article It's an interesting read as it talks about young people that have worked in the mines in the midst of the Australian mining boom. They were making huge amounts of money and living the fly in, fly out lifestyle, with little expenses, then once they lost those jobs, they were forced to face a reality that not many of them ever had. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this podcast and let me know if you dig the 'Chit Chat format'.
