Sermon Discussion Questions:What does Zacchaeus's story teach us about faith, repentance, and transformation? What does the story say about how we can experience salvation? What are some examples of how we might "seek and save the lost" in our own lives? What are some examples of how God's grace has impacted our own lives? How does this story challenge our understanding of social status and worth?

The Prophetic Significance of Purim in 2025: A Call to Courage and Awakening • Friday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give As we approach Purim in 2025, we must recognize that this is not just an ancient Jewish holiday—it is a prophetic message for this very hour. The story of Esther, Mordecai, and Haman is more than history; it is a blueprint for the spiritual battle we face today. The enemy has set traps, decrees, and wicked schemes against God's people, but Purim reminds us that divine reversals, supernatural intervention, and bold faith will lead us to victory. God is calling His remnant to rise up like Esther and Mordecai, to recognize the times, and to stand against the Haman spirit that seeks to destroy faith, truth, and righteousness in our day. Purim is a call to courage, fasting, discernment, and action. Let's dive into the Word and uncover why this moment in 2025 is critical for believers to understand and walk in the spirit of Purim. 1. Recognizing the Times: The Battle of Light and Darkness Esther 3:8-9 (NKJV) “Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, ‘There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people's, and they do not keep the king's laws. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed…'” 2. The Call to Boldness: You Were Born for Such a Time as This Esther 4:14 (NKJV) “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” 3. Fasting and Prayer Release Breakthrough Esther 4:16 (NKJV) “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” 4. Divine Reversals: What the Enemy Meant for Evil, God Turns for Good Esther 9:1 (NKJV) “On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them.” 5. The Scepter of Favor: Authority in the Courts of Heaven Esther 5:2 (NKJV) “So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.” 6. The Haman Spirit Will Hang on Its Own Gallows Esther 7:10 (NKJV) “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided.” 7. The Call to Celebrate and Remember Esther 9:28 (NKJV) “That these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city, that these days of Purim should not fail to be observed among the Jews, and that the memory of them should not perish among their descendants.” 8. No Weapon Formed Against Us Will Prosper Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.” 9. Be Strong and Courageous Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” 10. The Lord Will Fight for You Exodus 14:14 (NKJV) “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” This Is Our Purim Moment Purim in 2025 is a prophetic call to: • Wake up and recognize the times. • Fast, pray, and seek divine strategy. • Stand in courage and take action. • Believe in the power of divine reversals. • Walk in authority and favor.

THE DEVIL'S PLAN FOR WWIII • The Todd Coconato Show Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.toddcoconato.com/give The Enemy Seeks War  We are in a spiritual battle. The drumbeats of war grow louder, and the enemy of our souls desires nothing more than destruction, bloodshed, and death. But as believers, we must recognize the true battle is not of flesh and blood—it is spiritual.  Satan has always sought to bring death, while God is the author of life and peace. Today, let us look at the contrast between the enemy's agenda of destruction and God's call to peace. 1. The Enemy's Desire for Death Satan's strategy has always been to kill, steal, and destroy. Jesus makes this clear in John 10:10: John 10:10 (NKJV) “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” From the very beginning, Satan has sought to bring death. In the Garden of Eden, he deceived Eve, leading to sin and the entrance of death into the world (Genesis 3). When Cain murdered Abel, it was the enemy stirring up jealousy and rage (Genesis 4). Throughout history, Satan has worked to destroy nations, stir up conflict, and lead people into war and bloodshed. 2. Satan Wanted Mass Death in the Days of Moses and Jesus Satan has targeted entire generations for destruction. When Moses was born, Pharaoh, under satanic influence, ordered the murder of every Hebrew baby boy to prevent deliverance. Exodus 1:22 (NKJV) “So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, ‘Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.'” Similarly, when Jesus was born, Herod, acting as a puppet of the enemy, sought to kill Him by ordering the massacre of innocent children. Matthew 2:16 (NKJV) “Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.” In both instances, Satan tried to destroy deliverers before they could fulfill God's plan. And today, the enemy still stirs nations to war, seeking to destroy millions before they can find salvation. 3. The Enemy Seeks to Stir Up War, But God Calls for Peace As tensions rise in the world, we must recognize the spiritual battle at play. The enemy seeks to manipulate leaders into conflict, pushing nations toward devastation. Yet Jesus calls His followers to a different path: Matthew 5:9 (NKJV) “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” God does not delight in war and destruction. He desires for His people to be agents of peace, speaking truth and interceding for the nations. He warns against unjust violence and reminds us of His power over the plans of the wicked. Psalm 46:9 (NKJV) “He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.” 4. The Ultimate War Is Spiritual While earthly conflicts rage, the real war is spiritual. The Apostle Paul reminds us that our true battle is not against flesh and blood: Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Satan wants us distracted by physical wars so that we do not see the spiritual battle. He wants to fill the earth with death, but God has given us weapons of warfare that are mighty through Him. Our battle is won through prayer, fasting, and standing firm in God's truth. 5. God's Desire for Life and Redemption Despite the enemy's schemes, God is sovereign. His heart is always to save and redeem, not to destroy. 2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV) “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” Though war may seem inevitable in the eyes of the world, we as believers must not fall into despair or hatred. Instead, we must pray for leaders to seek wisdom, for people to turn to Jesus, and for God's peace to reign. Stand for Peace, Stand in Prayer ✅ The enemy wants war, but God calls for peace. Satan wants death, but Jesus offers life. The world is being pushed toward destruction, but as believers, we must stand in the gap, intercede, and declare God's will over the nations.  Let us pray and declare God's peace over our world. Amen.

Refined in 2024, Chosen for 2025: Stepping Into the Promise • Friday Service   Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give 2024 has been a year of intense refining for the Body of Christ. Through fire, testing, and breaking, God has been purifying His Church, preparing us for the unprecedented glory and harvest that awaits in 2025. This sermon will explore why the refining was necessary and how we are now positioned to step into His promises. 1. Refined Like Gold in the Fire Scripture: Malachi 3:3 (NKJV) “He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.” 2. Broken to Be Made Whole Scripture: Psalm 34:18 (NKJV) “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” 3. Gilgal: A Place of Preparation Scripture: Joshua 5:9 (NKJV) “Then the Lord said to Joshua, ‘This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.' Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.” 4. A Call to Come Out from Among Them Scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) “Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.'” 5. Authentic Worship over Performance Scripture: John 4:23-24 (NKJV) “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 6. Equipped for the Harvest Scripture: Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV) “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'” 7. Citizens of Heaven, Ambassadors of Christ Scripture: Philippians 3:20 (NKJV) “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” 8. Miracles, Signs, and Wonders Scripture: Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV) “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 9. Strengthened Through Trials Scripture: James 1:2-4 (NKJV) “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” 10. The King is Coming Scripture: Revelation 22:12 (NKJV) “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.” Step Forward, Remnant 2024 was a year of refining, but 2025 will be a year of triumph. The Lord has equipped and strengthened us for this pivotal moment in history. Let us rise, step boldly into His promises, and shine His light in the darkness. The harvest is here, and the King is coming.

Now, more than ever, it's time for us to get to work. Our main focus going forward will be about winning souls, setting people free, and bringing healing in Jesus' name. We must be diligent and intentional because time is short, and the harvest is plentiful. Let's dive into what the Word of God says about being diligent in the Lord's work and why now is the time to take action. 1. Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV) “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” 2. Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Luke 10:2 (NKJV) “Then He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'” 9. Romans 13:11 (NKJV) “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” 10. James 1:22 (NKJV) “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Strength in the Waiting • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Waiting is one of the most challenging experiences in life, especially for believers who are often eager to see God's promises come to fruition. However, the waiting seasons are often the most important times for a Christian. It is during these moments of waiting that God shapes our character, deepens our faith, and fortifies us for the tasks ahead. These times of waiting are not wasted; they are moments of preparation for what's to come. Let's explore how waiting builds character and strength, with examples from scripture and commentary on how we can apply this to our lives. 1. Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. 2. Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!"* 3. James 1:2-4 (NKJV) “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." 4. Romans 8:25 (NKJV) *"But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance." 5. Lamentations 3:25-26 (NKJV) "The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." 6. Psalm 37:7 (NKJV) "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass." 7. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." 8. Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV) "For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." 9. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." 10. Psalm 130:5-6 (NKJV) "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning—yes, more than those who watch for the morning." Waiting seasons are often the most formative periods in our lives. It's in the waiting that God builds character, refines our faith, and strengthens our hearts. Just as a seed grows beneath the surface before breaking through the soil, God is doing a deep work in us during these times. Let us embrace the waiting, knowing that God is at work, and trust that in His perfect timing, we will see the fulfillment of His promises. Remember, strength is built in the waiting.

Seven Days Pt. 2 | March 3rd, 2024Pastor Wes Morris Mark 11:15-19 (GNT) When they arrived in Jerusalem, Jesus went to the Temple and began to drive out all those who were buying and selling. He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the stools of those who sold pigeons, and he would not let anyone carry anything through the Temple courtyards. He then taught the people: “It is written in the Scriptures that God said, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer for the people of all nations.' But you have turned it into a hideout for thieves!”The chief priests and the teachers of the Law heard of this, so they began looking for some way to kill Jesus. They were afraid of him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. Tragically, we continue to chase after our desires endlessly. The result? A chronic state of restlessness or, worse, angst, anger, anxiety, disillusionment, depression—all of which lead to a life of hurry, a life of busyness, overload, shopping, materialism, careerism, a life of more…which in turn makes us even more restless. I want to share this Word with someone who feels isolated from the Lord. You can't seem to hear the Lord. You can't seem to find Him. The Lord sent me to tell you, THERE IS HOPE. God is near. He is with you! It's His nature to be close. Don't fear! Here's what I saw, and what I heard from the Spirit of God:I was in prayer and saw a cell phone that had been lost. It was caught in a chair cushion I was sitting on.The phone had been left there a while by its owner and they had no idea where it was and how to find it. They would have to backtrack and go back to where they had been in order to find it. They would have to trace their steps backwardsIn the same way, the Lord is calling you to go back to where you were in love with the Lord and seeking Him daily. Retrace your steps. Where did you lose your way? Where did you lose faith? Who has distracted you? Or WHAT has distracted you? The Lord is calling on you to stir up your faith."Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. Blessed Life – Week 4 The Principal of the First What is up family? We are in week four of our series the blessed life based on a book with the same title written by pastor Robert Morris and this book radically changed my life! At the beginning of this series Pastor Mike made a challenge for you to not miss a week of this series because I truly believe these principles will radically transform your life, but if you miss any weeks so far you can go online and catch up because I really layout some foundational truth about our heart and the purpose behind why we do what we do in regards to these principles.   Today is probably one of the most difficult messages to speak and teach on as we are going to be tackling some meaty teachings today, but I believe it is probably the most important message out of the series as we are going to be talking about   The Principal of the Firsts If God is 1st in your life, then everything comes into order. Now I'm not saying that you won't go through trials or tough times because even Jesus said we're going to go through trials; what I'm saying is despite the trials we go through, we have the proper alignment in life. If we routinely seek Him first and make God 1st, He will reveal solutions to our problems and struggles through the light of His presence and the power of His voice. His peace guards our hearts against chaotic thoughts and emotions. Wouldn't you rather go through life with your life in order instead of out of order? This principle of the 1st is a theme throughout the entire Bible because it is laying out the placement of God in our lives. Watch what it says in Exodus: Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” Exodus 13:1-2 NKJV Consecrate means to set apart! Notice he says it is mine. These are very strong words God using in the original text very powerful statement where he's making a claim and leaving a very clear description to the people of Israel of what is of importance to him. The first. “Every firstborn that comes from an animal which you have; the males shall be the Lord's. But every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem. Exodus 13:12-13 NKJV Notice it says that every donkey you must break its neck if you don't redeem it which means you will lose it anyway. Think about that with your tithe and finances: if you don't redeem them they would become lost Now to understand this principle of 1st there are several things we need to grasp about this principle. 1. THE FIRSTBORN MUST BE SACRIFICED OR REDEEMED Now the question comes up how do you know which to do. How do you know if you're supposed to sacrifice it or redeem it? If it's clean it is to be sacrificed and if it's unclean he needs to be redeemed and what exodus says here is that it is redeemed with a clean animal. So to redeem the unclean donkey you needed a clean lamb to redeem it. Now how does that apply today because that seems like some ancient stuff that we can't always comprehend in 2023? Think about it this way: how are you born do you think you were born clean or unclean? For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. Psalms 51:5 Romans says because of the sin of Adam that sin has spread to everyone. So we are born into sin with a sinful nature. However, Jesus was born into this world clean. The Bible says he was pure and never sinned and he was sacrificed so that we could be redeemed and clean. Now, why am I saying this? JESUS IS GOD'S TITHE God gave his 1st born son 1st watch what Roman says, But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8 Did you see that? God sent his son as a sacrifice before we got our act together. While we were still in sin he sent his tithe. He sent Jesus while we were still mocking him, beating him, spitting on him, and nailing him to a cross. While we were still consumed with the sin he hoped and desired that we would receive the free gift of Jesus' sacrifice and receive the forgiveness that would redeem our unclean sin. I'm glad he didn't wait for me to get my act together to redeem me. So he gave his son in faith! We tithe 10% in faith… We put God 1st in trust! The first fruit means that the tithe comes 1st and for that to happen we need faith! God says give me the first lamb, the firstborn I want the 1st. Don't wait till you have 10 lambs and then hand over the scrawny one that you don't really want. No, give me the first before you even have 9 more that follows because that takes faith. Many people think that the tithe the 10% is what causes the blessing but that's not the truth it's Your faith and obedience cause the blessing Now I really want you to see this principle in the eyes of faith. Think back all the way to the book of Joshua the people of Israel 40 years before were delivered from the powerful Egyptian army out of slavery and the people still did not have faith to trust God to be their provider and sustainer. When he brought them to the promised land their response was we cannot defeat the nations that live in this land and they were filled with doubt, not faith. So for 40 years, the people of Israel wandered in the desert until all the doubters became old and died away. Now Joshua is in command and the people of Israel are ready to inherit the promised land that was theirs from the beginning. And they're stepping into their first battle to take down the mighty city of Jericho and watch what God instructs the people of Israel to do. Jericho and everything in it must be completely destroyed as an offering to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and the others in her house will be spared, for she protected our spies. “Do not take any of the things set apart for destruction, or you yourselves will be completely destroyed, and you will bring trouble on the camp of Israel. Everything made from silver, gold, bronze, or iron is sacred to the Lord and must be brought into his treasury.” Joshua 6:17-19 Now the logical thinking would be that after you win your first battle you would take the spoils of war to fund the mission of conquering the rest of the land. But God said everything from the first battle would be given to him as an offering. Why? Because it was the first city conquered in the promised land and that would make it the first fruit. He didn't say conquered 10 cities and give me the spoils from the 10th one he says give me the 1st and you can have the rest and that's going to take faith and of course, tithing takes faith to give the 1st. 2. FIRSTFRUITS MUST BE OFFERED Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase Proverbs 3:9 NKJV All your increase which means bonuses and all the God brings into your home. Honor God with it. Now I want you to notice something this isn't the law in proverbs where God is kind of writing out the guidebook for the people of Israel. This is actually hundreds of years after the law was written we're Solomon is reinforcing that this is a principle, not just a rule. The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God. Exodus 23:19 NKJV Notice God says to bring the firstfruits not give first fruit Why is that? Because: You can't give what's not yours And we've already associated that the tithe is set apart for God so it is already his that's why we just bring it to the House of the Lord. So, you can either bring it or you steal it as we talked about 2 weeks ago in Malachi chapter 3. Now, remember when we talked about how in the book of Joshua God commanded the people of Israel to take all the spoils they received from the battle of Jericho and offer 1it to God as an offering because it was the first fruits and that was their tithe? Well not everybody has faith and there was a dude Achan just didn't want to trust God and took matters into his own hands. But Israel violated the instructions about the things set apart for the Lord. A man named Achan had stolen some of these dedicated things, so the Lord was very angry with the Israelites. Joshua 7:1-2 So Achan takes some the first fruit offering and keeps it for himself. Took what was set apart for himself and God becomes angry and now their mission which was redeemed is now cursed and the people of Israel go to battle and when they just came out and a victory that was amazing and miraculous they get beat handily by the men of Ai.    And Joshua goes and he's weeping on his face before God and God goes dude get up why you laying on your face like that because there's only one logical explanation as to why you were defeated you didn't obey the covenant and my commands by giving me the 1st. People stole from me and my blessings could not be there because there was sin in its place. And God says until you deal with this you'll never defeat your enemies until you get those things that were set apart and give him to me you won't have victory and so Joshua dealt with it and God blessed their mission. Listen to me: when we don't tithe we are not setting apart what God called to be holy and we're not seeing our finances be redeemed but now we are cursing them. Why would you want curses in your bank account because the Lord knows you already got enough problems in that bank account already. Wouldn't you want it blessed? Heres what I know: IT TAKES FAITH TO TITHE AND IT TAKES FAITH TO BELIEVE THAT 90% BLESSED IS FAR BETTER THAN 100% CURSED. Listen to what it says in Genesis 4: And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Genesis 4:3 NKJV I want you to notice this it says in the process of time Cain brought an offering. It didn't say he brought the first fruit it just says an offering over the course of time. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. Genesis 4:4-5 NKJV The Lord respected and accepted Abel's offering but did not accept Cain's offering and it's not that God wouldn't accept it that he couldn't accept it because God has to be 1st and can never be 2nd. God is above all and he is 1st and just because you don't make him 1st Doesn't change who he is and that means he could never be second. He is God! Tithing represents who is 1st in your life. You can tell me all day long who's 1st in your life but your lifestyle and your choices are the real answer. The first belongs to God we can give God the first of our time. We can give him the first of our finances. What the tithe is really is giving our first to God. It is saying, God, I'm gonna give you the 1st and trust you redeem the rest. So when we understand the principle of tithing we can look at our bank accounts and say God you come first And I trust now when I tithe 1st you're going to redeem the rest and provide for me. You can also say God I understand the principle a first because you come first in my schedule I give you the first portion of my week by attending church and believe you will redeem the rest of my week because I will honor you and model to my family God comes 1st. Sadly some people view Monday as the beginning of the week other people think Friday is when their week begins because they think I'm going to party and have a good time but very few people view attending church as the tithe of their time by giving God the first of their week as they worship God and they serve in the body to see people that are far from Jesus have a welcoming loving experience in our church community. Even in business, this is why chick fila, hobby lobby and others, are BLESSED and still at the top of the lists for revenues minus 1 day of the week against their competition…bc they give the first part of their week. Number 3: 3. THE TITHE MUST BE FIRST One-tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy. Leviticus 27:30 OK now let me use a little illustration here say I hire a contractor to remodel my kitchen and the contractor gives me a bid and says this is how much it's going to cost for materials, this is how much is going to cost to pay my workers, and this is the profit I'm going to make which will just say is $1000. Now the contractor doesn't tithe on the material cost or on what he pays his workers he tithes on his profit which is his increase.  So let's say I give him 10 $100 bills for his $1000 profit. What's his tithe? $100. Now, which of the $100 bills is his tithe? Now what we do is we set some aside for a mortgage, set some aside for our car payment, set some aside for our utilities, set some aside for our food, and then we set some aside for our tithe.  However, when we do that our tithe is not our first fruit which means Gods not first because our mortgage is getting our first fruit. For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. Romans 11:16 NKJV I want you to see this is we made the first fruit holy it redeems the rest and makes the rest holy. In the root is only all the branches and its fruit becomes holy. If the tithe is 1st and God is 1st then the rest is holy. So your tithe is the first that leaves your hand.  Because if we're honest and we don't make the first fruit the first fruit which causes the rest to be holy what happens is we send some aside for a mortgage, we set some aside for our car payment, we set some aside for our utilities, we set some aside for our food, and oops we don't have quite enough to set aside for our tithe and God cannot accept and redeem that because he was not first. Remember in Malachai when God said you are robbing me.  He also says you are not bringing me your first or your best offering when you do bring offerings and it is so dishonoring I wish you wouldn't bring me any offering at all! God has to be 1st in our life and we have to trust that he has our best interests at heart. That's faith!  Now how does this work for me? I get paid every other Friday and my check is direct deposited so it just magically appears in my bank account and So what I've done is I set up recurring giving that the very first thing that comes out of my bank account on payday is my tithes and offerings. Now some people write checks and when they get paid the very first thing they do is write a tithe check or some people physically go online on their payday and give their tithe. But what they're doing and what I'm trying to do is to always make the first fruit the first fruit because I always want God to be 1st. Now what if you get paid and go to pay your tithe and maybe you write a check or pay online on your payday but you get so busy one day that you get home that night and you're like I forgot to write my tithe check where I forgot to pay my tithe online and you jump online to pay your tithe and you realize your wife bought groceries already and you're like great my check already cursed for this pay period. No! That's not the way it works because God is not legalistic. Tithing isn't about following rules it's about your heart and your intentions 2nd corinthians 9 says: “Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty…” 2 Corinthians 9:7 TPT We do it just because we want God to be 1st in our lives and he knows your heart. {PERSONAL STORY} – MY FIRST YEAR TITHING – BLESSED AND REDEEMED FINANCES That's why I tell you only you can keep yourself accountable to this and as one of your pastors I will teach you the truth but I'll not be looking at your paycheck and your donation and see if you're giving 10% that's between you and God. it's also why I say if you don't feel called to Bloom go to a church that you feel called to be a part of an apply these principles too because I care more about you being blessed and I don't want you to walk in the curse any longer. God has great things in store for you but he has to be 1st in your life. And in the future, your children will ask you, ‘What does all this mean?' Then you will tell them, ‘With the power of his mighty hand, the Lord brought us out of Egypt, the place of our slavery. Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, so the Lord killed all the firstborn males throughout the land of Egypt, both people and animals. That is why I now sacrifice all the firstborn males to the Lord… Exodus 13:14-15 One day your children will come and ask you why do you sacrifice the first fruits to the Lord and you'll tell him we weren't always blessed like we are now. We didn't use to be farmers or ranchers we used to be slaves, but God redeemed us and out of a grateful heart we remember that and we understand that we never want to walk in this life without God being 1st. Because I don't want to take one step without God's direction. because only a surrendered disciple can walk in the thriving will of God. That is still true for us today thousands of years later parents we model to our children what redemption and surrender looks like and if God is not first in your life and he is 2nd and 3rd in your life he will be 4th 5th and 6th in your children's lives. We explain to them the redemption we explain to them the goodness of God and we show them what freedom looks like and we explain why God is 1st in our lives. So the question I want to end with is God really first in your life?

2 Kings 4:8-17 (NKJV)   //  Now it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn in there to eat some food. 9 And she said to her husband, “Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. 10 Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.” 11 And it happened one day that he came there, and he turned in to the upper room and lay down there. 12 Then he said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite woman.” When he had called her, she stood before him. 13 And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?' ” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.” 14 So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.” 15 So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. 16 Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” 17 But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her. 1. Prepare With No Agenda 2 Kings 4:13 (CEB)   //  …‘Look, you've gone to all this trouble for us. What can I do for you? Is there anything I can say on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?'” She said, “I'm content to live at home with my own people.” 2. Prepare For The Supernatural 2 Kings 4:16 (NKJV)  // Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” Psalm 37:4 (NIV)  //  Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 3. It Is Well When You've Prepared 2 Kings 4:21-23 (NKJV)  //  And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out. 22 Then she called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the young men and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come back.” 23 So he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “It is well.” Psalm 27:1-6 (NKJV) //  The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

"For the Lord your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." "The God of my strength in who I will trust my shield and the Horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, you save me from violence, I will call upon the Lord, who is Worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies." "Show your marvelous loving kindness by your right hand, O you who save those who trust in you, from those who rise up against them. (Psalm 145:19 NKJV) "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who trust in him." (Nahum 1:7 NKJV) David & Nahum speaks of God being a stronghold for us who trust Him in the day of trouble. "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." A lot of us could use a little bit of calmness in our lives. It seems like everything has become undoubtedly more stressful, more difficult, and more complex than ever before. And sometimes that stress comes from work, school, family or even your own personal battles. Psalm 23:1-6 (NKJV) – The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Episode Summary:  I talk with Tonie Camacho who lost a parent early in life, lived with a mentally ill mother, was sexually abused, raped and left for dead. She turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism. After her third DWI, and time in jail, God saved her. She learned that you are never too lost for God to find you. Sobriety is a daily struggle. But Tonie learned that the storm doesn't last forever and God is on the other side with His hand open. If you or a loved one struggle with alcoholism and addiction, you'll want to listen to this hope-filled perspective. Quotables from the episode: You are never too lost for God to save you. My saving grace was when God showed me He truly was willing to leave the 99 to save me. Addiction is about control and requires surrendering to God for control. I maintain my sobriety because God saved me and drinking again would be thumbing my nose at God. The storm doesn't last forever. God is on the other side with His hand open. God was with her the whole time. All she had to do was turn around. Scripture References: Psalm 5:10 NKJV “Create in me a clean heart, O God, renew a new spirit in me.” Psalms 27:1 NKJV “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; whom shall I be afraid?” Recommended Resources: Dolores Like the River by Laura Padgett Hope from a Recovering Adult Child of Alcoholic Parents – Episode 76 Never Too Broken to be Restored Today is Going to be a Good Day: 90 Promises to Start Your Day Off Right by Dr. Michelle Bengtson Trusting God Through Cancer 1 Trusting God Through Cancer 2 Revive & Thrive Women's Conference YouVersion Devotional, Today is Going to be a Good Day version 1 YouVersion Devotional, Today is Going to be a Good Day version 2 Free Download: How To Fight Fearful/Anxious Thoughts and Win Breaking Anxiety's Grip: How to Reclaim the Peace God Promises by Dr. Michelle Bengtson Breaking Anxiety's Grip Free Study Guide  Free 7-Day YouVersion Bible Reading Plan for Breaking Anxiety's Grip Hope Prevails: Insights from a Doctor's Personal Journey Through Depression by Dr. Michelle Bengtson, winner of the Christian Literary Award Reader's Choice Award Hope Prevails Bible Study by Dr. Michelle Bengtson, winner of the Christian Literary Award Reader's Choice Award How To Help a Depressed Loved One free eBook Social Media Links for Host: For more hope, stay connected with Dr. Bengtson at: Order Book Today is Going to be a Good Day / Order Book Breaking Anxiety's Grip / Order Book Hope Prevails  /  Website  /  Blog  /  Facebook / Twitter (@DrMBengtson)  /  LinkedIn  /  Instagram / Pinterest / YouTube Guest: Tonie Camacho is a 53-year old woman in recovery from alcoholism; drinking since the age of 14. When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.” Psalms 27:1-3 NKJV The Lord is our Savior, in His name we can be confident for our salvation. He is our strength and our shield, in Him, we do not need to be afraid of anything. In Him, we can entrust the fullness of our life, because He is a great God that has control over anything that goes in the world because He has overcome the world. This is one of the episodes I promised I'd be adding back in. This was recorded in May of 2019 with my good friend, retired veterinarian, Dr. Hugh Bassham. In this episode we talked Cymatics - more commonly known now about quantum physics, vibrational wellness, and more. We shared so many resources in this discussion that you can find below. This show was far more on the emotional and spiritual plane than the physical...but was it? It definitely ALL ties together as we go into more on vibrational wellness for us and our dogs! QUOTES "And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden." ~Genesis 3:8, NKJV “The sound of colors is so definite that it would be hard to find anyone who would express bright yellow with base notes, or dark lake with the treble." ~Wassily Kandinsky Read more at: https://www.brainyquote.com/topics/sound “In string theory, all particles are vibrations on a tiny rubber band; physics is the harmonies on the string; chemistry is the melodies we play on vibrating strings; the universe is a symphony of strings, and the ‘Mind of God' is cosmic music resonating in 11-dimensional hyperspace.”~Michio Kaku "To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called the trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." ~Isaiah 61:3, NKJV "The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." ~Zephaniah 3:17, NKJV "The medicine of the future will be music and sound." ~Edgar Cayce "You write the laws of your country and I'll write the music, and with the music I will control your country." Jesus, Our ShepherdPart 1Ezekiel 34:23 (NIV)“I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.” John 10:1-17 (ESV)“‘Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.' This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what He was saying to them. So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.'” “I am the good shepherd.” 1. You are a sheep.  Psalm 100:3 (NIV)“Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.” Isaiah 40:11 (NIV)“He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.” Psalm 23 (NKJV)“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 Timothy 1:1-7 New King James Version   Greeting 1 Paul, an apostle of [a]Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, 2 To Timothy, a beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. Timothy’s Faith and Heritage 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, 5 when I call to remembrance the [b]genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Fear? From Apocolyto: Flint Sky: Those people in the forest, what did you see on them? Jaguar Paw: I do not understand. Flint Sky: Fear. Deep rotting fear. They were infected by it. Did you see? Fear is a sickness. It will crawl into the soul of anyone who engages it. It has tainted your peace already. I did not raise you to see you live with fear. Strike it from your heart. Do not bring it into our village.   Genesis 26:24 (NKJV) And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, “I [am] the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I [am] with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”   Exodus 20:20 (NKJV) And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”   Numbers 14:9 (NKJV) “Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they [are] our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD [is] with us. Do not fear them.”   Deuteronomy 1:21 (NKJV) ‘Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up [and] possess [it,] as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’   Joshua 10:8 (NKJV) And the LORD said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.”   Judges 6:23 (NKJV) Then the LORD said to him, “Peace [be] with you; do not fear, you shall not die.”   1 Samuel 22:23 (NKJV) “Stay with me; do not fear. For he who seeks my life seeks your life, but with me you [shall be] safe.”   2 Kings 6:16 (NKJV) So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who [are] with us [are] more than those who [are] with them.”   1 Chronicles 22:13 (NKJV) “Then you will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the LORD charged Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed.   Psalm 56:4 (NKJV) In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?   Psalm 118:6 (NKJV) The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?   Isaiah 35:4 (NKJV) Say to those [who are] fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [With] the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”   Lamentations 3:57 (NKJV) You drew near on the day I called on You, And said, “Do not fear!”   Haggai 2:5 (NKJV) ‘[According to] the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’   Zechariah 8:13 (NKJV) And it shall come to pass [That] just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.’   Matthew 10:28 (NKJV) “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.   Matthew 10:31 (NKJV) “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.   Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV) So we may boldly say: “The LORD [is] my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”   Revelation 2:10 (NKJV) “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Pastor Andy continues speaking about walking with Jesus, this week Jesus the Good Shepherd. Last week we looked at Jesus the Lion of Judah as well as being the Lamb who was slain to take away our sins. The bible has portrayed Jesus in many differing ways each declaring a special part of who He is ….Son of God, Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, Lion of Judah, bread of life, the True Vine and the Good Shepherd. In the Gospel of John Chapter 10, many verses are devoted to Jesus being the Good Shepherd. Verses 1 through 6 speak of us knowing the Shepherd's voice, how the true sheep know the voice of their shepherd. Further verses speak of Jesus being the gateway to God's field. We can enter relationship with God, come into his field of safe pasture through Jesus only. Verse 10 also speaks of the enemy, the bad shepherd whose only purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus, the good shepherd is here to give us life in all its fullness. Verse 11 tells us that the Good Shepherd lays down his life for us. In Verse 12 we find that the hireling is not the shepherd who owns the sheep so will abandon us in the face of trouble….a wolf attacks and scatters the flock of sheep in the face of a hired hand because he has no regard for the flock, he is just a hired hand. In Verses 16 to 17 scripture speaks of a gathering, the plan of God for us – bringing the different cultures into the same ‘sheep pen', one kingdom.  In the Old Testament God also reveals Himself as a shepherd. In Ezekiel 34, the first ten verses rebuke bad shepherds of the day (we still have them now!). Verses 11 through 16 prophetically speak of God being the Good Shepherd in our lives, enabling us to lay down in good rich pasture (sheep only lay down when they feel no fear).  This refers to us having a sense of well-being and safety, as we should feel with God at the helm of our lives.   David's Psalm 23 reveals the same things God revealed to Ezekiel earlier. God has our back; we just need to ensure we are listening to His voice, not the myriad of others trying to deceive us. Scripture is so powerful Pastor Andy ended the service with every home reading this scripture out loud. Psalm 23 (NKJV) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. WHERE IS GOD? MAKING SENSE OF FAITH DURING A PANDEMIC   DOES GOD CONSPIRE WITH EVIL? What about God’s wrath, judgment, angels of death, etc.?   During times of crisis ALL of humanity is faced with “God” questions. Where is God in this pandemic? Did God cause the novel coronavirus? Is God being passive-aggressive to allow it to happen? If God is loving WHY doesn’t He intervene? Is the pandemic an act of God’s judgment? Is there anything humans/believers can do? Can we expect special protection during these times? Will prayer motivate God? What does God feel towards human suffering?  All of these questions often hang with no more resolution, stopping at the question marks. During this amazing series we will look at philosophical and theological ideas that help us make sense of God, returning us to wholehearted intimacy with God, ourselves and those around us. God desires to use the women of our time to bring a full assault on the enemy and why not? It was Eve who received the the prophetic Word that there would be a crushing One who would come. That crushing One would come through Israel all the way down through the lineage of David through a virgin named Mary. We hope you enjoy Part 3 of Psalm 68 - The Cloud Rider from Airport Church.

TODAY’S SERMON NOTES    ROMANS 5:17 AMP For if because of one man’s trespass (Adam’s original lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing GRACE (unmerited favor) and the free GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS [putting them into right standing with Himself] REIGN AS KINGS IN LIFE through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).   CONSIDER THE QUESTION: If God delegated His rule on earth to His people, and His people are delinquent to those responsibilities, how much pain and sorrow have we unduly endured? By Pastor Robert Rosales Scriptures - John 14:27 (TPT) - “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous! - Mark 4:35-41 (NKJV) - On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” - Haggai 1:14 (NKJV) - The Lord “stirred up” the spirits of all the people to go to work on the house of the Lord. - Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV) - Arise, shine; for your light has come! - 2 Timothy 2:23-26 (NKJV) - But avoid foolish & ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. - Proverbs 18:21 (TPT) - Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences. Message Points He arose (Gk.) - diegeirō To wake up, arouse from sleep, to resurrect. To stir up, and to stand up. 1. RISE UP! 2. DEAL WITH THE ROOT ISSUE 3. SPEAK PEACE INTO THE CIRCUMSTANCE

I used to think about courage in terms of doing 'big' physical things, like going on the giant swing at a Sport and Recreation camp, climbing out on the yard arm of a tall ship, and jumping off the 10m diving platform (I've never done that!). But then I heard a sermon about having courage for the 'little', but often life-changing moments, like starting a conversation with someone you don't know, opening a letter that you know you may not like the contents of, and learning how to confidently say how you really feel. Hearing that sermon, and it was quite a few years ago now, changed the way I approached the 'little' yet 'big' moments in my life. I started to see these moments as opportunities to build courage - essentially building a greater trust in Jesus. However, these moments/opportunities required more than trust, they required me to actually do something. I could say to myself, I trust You God, and then leave the letter unopened on the table for days. Am I really trusting God? No. It was not until I actually opened that letter that the trust went into action and I became courageous. And wow did that feel good! In my listening appointment with God this week, one of the things I felt God say to me was, 'have courage to let me do the work I want to do in you.' My immediate response was, 'Need more courage - I need to get more equipped!' . I know that over the years God has increased my courage, but this sounded like I was soon going to have some God-given opportunities to grow that courage to the next level and I didn't want to have fear sabotage the work God wanted to do in me. Earlier in the week I had set up a playlist called 'Courage' and it included songs like, 'You're gonna be OK' by Jenn Johnson; 'Take Courage' by Bethel Music; 'Your grace finds me' by Matt Redman; 'Lions' by Skillet; 'This I believe' by Hillsong Worship; 'Whom shall I fear' by Passion; 'No Longer Slaves' by Bethel; 'Break every chain' by Jesus Culture and 'Another in the Fire' by Hillsong United; 'Oh Fear (My God is Near)' by Moriah Peters. So I added some more songs to the list and started playing them and declaring their truth Then I made a list of some scriptures relating to courage .... Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV The Lord is my revelation-light to guide me along the way; he’s the source of my salvation to defend me every day. I fear no one! I’ll never turn back and run from you, Lord; surround and protect me. Psalm 27:1 TPT Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 NKJV Also David told Solomon his son, Be strong and courageous, and do it. Fear not, be not dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail or forsake you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord. 1 Chronicles 28:20 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 NLT Remember to say alert and hold firmly to all that you believe. Be mighty and full of courage. Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do. 1 Corinthians 16:13 TPT We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies. 2 Corinthians 4:8-11 NLT For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV So now I daily worship and mediate on these truths, declaring that God has indeed not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, and when the prompting from the Holy Spirit comes, step out trusting that He has gone before me. No fear, in Jesus Name. Perhaps there is something in your life that requires you to step out and be courageous, and yet you hesitate. I pray that as you read this post and take time to read again the truth from our God, that trust and courage will rise up and you will be able to just do it - in Jesus Name. Trust that God has gone before you. For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control. 1 Timothy 1:7 TPT To find out more please visit https://wendyrobinson.com.au

EEF experienced a very moving service on the Sunday following the Charlottesville VA events of this weekend. Makeda McCreary called us to worship; Erin Rose, one of our teaching pastors, pours out her heart in response to that time as well as giving us the hope in Jesus instead of the despair that comes without Him. The sermon was followed by a stirring community prayer time for direction and boldness to testify to the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The videos for the service can be found on the EEF YouTube PagePsalm 27 (NKJV)The Lord is my light and my salvation;Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life;Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against meTo eat up my flesh,My enemies and foes,They stumbled and fell.Though an army may encamp against me,My heart shall not fear;Though war may rise against me,In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord,That will I seek:That I may dwell in the house of the LordAll the days of my life,To behold the beauty of the Lord,And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of troubleHe shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacleHe shall hide me;He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.When You said, “Seek My face,”My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”Do not hide Your face from me;Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help;Do not leave me nor forsake me,O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me,Then the Lord will take care of me.Teach me Your way, O Lord,And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me,And such as breathe out violence.I would have lost heart, unless I had believedThat I would see the goodness of the LordIn the land of the living.Wait on the Lord;Be of good courage,And He shall strengthen your heart;Wait, I say, on the Lord!Andy & Rachel Graham - Spirit Pour OutSpirit pour out and flood this cityHeaven come down and shake the wallsFill us Lord the world is waitingFather let your kingdom comeCome restore generations of desolationBind up the poor and broken heartPlant and sow, till and grow what time has ravagedBreak down the walls of race and warSpirit pour out and flood this cityHeaven come down and shake the wallsFill us Lord the world is waitingFather let your kingdom comeGod we seek the peace and welfare of our cityProsper redeem her as your ownThat all would see your glory here in greater measureThrough us your church your kingdom comeYou are the God buildsYou are the one who savesYou are the God who prospersEvil has no claimYou are the God buildsYou are the one who savesYou are the God who prospersFervently we prayEphesians 6: 10-17 (NIV)Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
