In Deutschland macht man aus so was „Doppelhaushälfte“, in Großbritannien macht man daraus großes Fernsehen.

Completano il mese The End of Oak Street, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia 18, Insidious: Fuori Dall'Altrove, La Vendetta Perfetta: Bear Country, Dark Matter 2 e The Whisper Man con Adam Scott e Robert De Niro. Sedici titoli selezionati, tra grandi ritorni, possibili sorprese, film già bocciati in partenza e almeno un'opera che dovete assolutamente vedere. (00:00) Primo posto su Apple Podcast! Welcome to another episode of Fratello On Air! This week, we discuss watch brands, models, and styles that we like but would probably never buy. To be clear, this episode isn't about picking on anyone or anything. Instead, there are other reasons these pieces aren't on our wrists and may never be.Like any other hobby, watch collecting has its trends, its darlings, and its go-to models. We're aligned with many of these, but there are aberrations. In this episode, we touch upon some of those favorites and why we would likely never buy them. Funds, personal style, wrist size, and marketing strategy are just a few reasons. We hope you enjoy the discussion. Feel free to add your top near-hits in the comments section.HandgelenkskontrolleWe open our show with an overview of the television shows we've been watching or plan to watch. Silo and Tip Toe are on our radars. Then, Balazs mentions a great throwback movie, The Fugitive. For the first time in ages, we also talk about shoes. Mike purchased a pair of Adidas Gazelle Inter Miami CF shoes, which are a bit funky for him. Balazs is also in on pink with his new Nike Air Jordan 1 Low × Travis Scott Muslin and Shy Pink shoes. For the Handgelenkskontrolle, Mike is still wearing his new Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 36mm. Yes, it's still love. Balazs is in the Wimbledon spirit with an interesting pick. He's sporting the Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster Swiss Tennis, a limited edition celebrating 130 years of the sport in the country.Watches we like but would probably never buyWe kick off our main topic with the first watch that one of us would struggle to buy. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is a watch that Balazs admires, but it's unlikely to make it into his collection. He feels that the watch doesn't fit his more casual, sporty style. Mike also enjoys the famous polo watch, but it sits flat on his wrist. Next, Mike brings up a watch that he'd love to own, but it will sadly never come to pass. The Bvlgari Octo Finissimo is much too wide for his smaller wrist. This is a shame because it's a work of art in person. The Girard-Perregaux Laureato is next on Balazs's list. He enjoys the watch but would like it to look even more distinct next to its peers.Mike has chosen a sub-genre of watches as the next category of pieces that he will likely never buy. The integrated-bracelet sports watch has never resonated with him. Yes, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF 36mm is an exception, but that's because it's a fresh design, whereas most rivals can trace their roots to the '70s. Then, we come to Richard Mille. Design-wise, Balazs doesn't see himself owning one of these even if funds weren't an issue. Finally, Mike brings up a controversial pick. It's odd because this watch should fit his lifestyle, and it's from a great brand. Yet, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut is not for him. Perhaps it was a visit to a Florida jeweler in 1997 that clinched it. The salesperson announced it as an entry-level model! We hope you enjoy today's show. As always, if you have ideas for future episodes, let us know!

Ten days earlier, Leo has just had a one-night stand with a man. The man steals his laptop, and Leo runs outside to chase him, but fails and also locks himself out of his house dressed only in pants and a t-shirt. This forces him to knock on his neighbour Clive's door, where he asks if he can call his best friend, Stephanie, who has a spare key. Clive agrees, but later suggests that Leo give him a key for emergencies, and Leo hires him to help at his bar. One of Leo's employees, Zee, has been sleeping at the bar since her home has become unsafe since coming out as transgender, so Leo and the other employees help her pack and move. Leo threatens to call the police, which Stephanie encourages, but Leo ultimately chooses not to out of fear for his safety. George runs away, but Saul finds him and convinces him to return home. Marie is worried George will be charged with burglary, whilst Clive accuses Leo of being a predator. Clive breaks into Leo's house and finds Saul's OnlyFans account as well as the message exchanges between him and George, which he documents. Leo returns home to find him there. 4 "Episode 4" Peter Hoar Russell T Davies 8 June 2026[b] TBD In a flashforward, Stephanie and Zee attempt to protect Leo's house from an angry mob. Zee contacts George and he helps her choose her new name, and the pair go to the Northern Quarter together. Clive goes to Leo's bar and ends up helping them when a man assaults a customer. In a conversation with Stephanie, Leo expresses concern about Clive. 5 "Episode 5" Peter Hoar Russell T Davies 9 June 2026[b] TBD Leo and Stephanie argue about the best way to help George, with Stephanie believing Marie would be supportive. After the video of Clive helping Leo during the fight is exposed, Clive whips the crowd into a frenzy and take Leo outside to hang him. Saul desperately attempts to prevent them, but is unsuccessful. Ultimately, Clive and his accomplices are arrested for murder, George becomes a drug-addict, Saul gets married and lives happily, Zee chooses the name Sarah and becomes a teacher, and the bar is turned into a pizzeria. Two years prior, Stephanie and Leo discuss his divorce, and the effects that coming out has had on their lives. Leo expresses a belief that something big will happen. Gabriel Clark joins Outcast World for a candid conversation recorded live at the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery in London and originally featured on The BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Podcast. Best known for his work on Hollyoaks and as one of the stars of Russell T Davies' highly anticipated new queer TV drama Tip Toe, Gabriel reflects on growing up in Bolton in an artistic family, finding his place as a young queer person, and navigating fame after landing a major TV role during the pandemic. The conversation explores everything from queer visibility in the entertainment industry to the importance of speaking out on issues that matter. Gabriel discusses why he chooses to use his platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, trans rights and Palestine, despite the risks that can come with public activism in the media spotlight. He also opens up about starring in the provocative theatre production Jock Night, which tackles chemsex, shame, addiction and queer identity. Gabriel explains why the play sparked such important conversations within LGBTQ+ communities and how it changed his understanding of Manchester's queer scene and the challenges facing many gay men today. The discussion then turns to The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, the acclaimed HIV-era play Gabriel recently performed in Manchester. Together, Graeme and Gabriel reflect on the legacy of HIV activism, the progress that has been made since the 1990s, and why many of the themes explored in the play still feel remarkably relevant in 2026. Finally, Gabriel shares what audiences can expect from Tip Toe, Russell T Davies' new five-part drama set around Manchester's Canal Street. Without giving away spoilers, he describes the series as funny, heartbreaking, sexy, political and full of humanity, while offering a glimpse behind the scenes of one of the most talked-about LGBTQ+ television projects of the year. A thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation about queer storytelling, activism, community, HIV history, chemsex, visibility, and the future of LGBTQ+ culture. This week we're sliding into the DMs with Russell T Davies, the TV icon behind Queer as Folk, It's a Sin, Doctor Who and now Tip Toe. He reveals the hardest scene he has ever had to write and what he said to a TV exec who told him to give a character a tick because they were boring. He also shares the news that It's a Sin is coming to the stage as a nationwide ballet tour, and gets candid about when he first felt seen on screen as a young gay man and how that moment changed everything.

In 1998, eight months into Tony Blair's government, seven gay and bisexual working-class men from Bolton were convicted at Crown Court of buggery and gross indecency for having consensual sex together in a private home. No victim. No complaint. Some went to prison. All were placed on the sex offenders register. The laws used against them dated back to 1895, and in one case to 1533. Greater Manchester Police, the same force that prosecuted Alan Turing, pursued this case with a fervour no other police force in the country was matching at the time. Almost nobody knows this happened. Hugh Sheehan is the writer and audio producer behind Criminally Queer: The Bolton 7, the five-part BBC Sounds documentary series that spent years in the making and is referenced in Russell T Davies' Channel 4 drama Tip Toe, starring Alan Cumming as a gay bar owner in Manchester's Gay Village. Davies made Tip Toe because, in his words, the fight is back on. He's right. And the Bolton Seven are a significant part of why. In this episode of Outcast World, Graeme and Hugh cover the full story: the centuries-old laws that remained quietly on the books after partial decriminalisation in 1967, the two-man rule that made consensual group sex a criminal act regardless of what straight people were doing, the class dimension that meant working-class men from Bolton had no legal defences that a wealthier man in a privately owned home might have had, and the Chief Constable whose fundamentalist homophobia had shaped Greater Manchester Police for over a decade before the Bolton Seven were ever arrested. Criminally Queer: The Bolton 7 is available on BBC Sounds, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

From Queer as Folk to Doctor Who, It's a Sin and now Tiptoe, Russell T Davies has spent 30 years starting conversations that nobody else dares to. And he's not finished yet. In this chat with Josh, Russell opens up about why he wrote Tip Toe, a gripping new drama about two neighbours whose feud grows darker and more dangerous, and how it reflects a world where online anger is spilling into real life with terrifying consequences.  He talks candidly about what it still feels like to come out every single day, why the MeToo movement barely scratched the surface, and why he thinks intimacy coordinators on set are essential, not optional. He also gets into why visibility, the very thing he has championed his whole career, may now be making the queer community a bigger target, and why he believes a fight is coming that we all need to be ready for.

Russell T Davies is back with Tiptoe and it has left viewers shaken. In this episode of Outcast World, Graeme Smith and Topher Taylor unpack the first two episodes of Channel 4's most talked-about new queer drama and ask why it feels less like fiction and more like a warning. From the brutal opening scene to Melba's now-viral speech about queer life in 2026, the conversation explores whether LGBTQ+ people are witnessing a genuine backlash after decades of progress. Has the optimism of the Queer as Folk era been replaced by fear? Are queer people becoming political targets once again? And what happens when online hate starts spilling into the real world? Graeme and Topher discuss the rise of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, attacks on queer spaces, social media radicalisation, Reform UK, Donald Trump, trans rights, community resilience and the uncomfortable feeling that many rights once considered secure may no longer be guaranteed. The episode also features the debut of "Topher's Slag Bag" as listeners send in questions about sex, relationships, toys, threesomes and navigating intimacy. A funny, emotional and sometimes unsettling conversation about queer life, community, sex and politics in 2026. In this episode: • Russell T Davies' Tiptoe and its cultural impact • The legacy of Queer as Folk • LGBTQ+ rights and political backlash • Reform UK, Trump and the rise of reactionary politics • Canal Street, queer spaces and community • Social media radicalisation and online hate • HIV, memory and generational trauma • Topher's Slag Bag: sex toys, anal prep and threesomes Outcast World is the global queer group chat — covering LGBTQ+ news, politics, sex and culture from London around the world. Luke returns to join Matt and Dawn to review four new shows available on various platforms this week.  Firstly, Russell T Davies is back with an original drama about modern society called Tip Toe. The series features career-best performances from Alan Cumming and David Morrissey as two men on a dangerous collision course. It's a show with a lot to say about the state of the world today and the dangers of living your life as someone viewed as 'other'. It's such a strong series and the sort of drama Channel 4 should be making, but it does some things that the team often dislikes. Next, a favourite from last year, The Four Seasons, returns for a second season on Netflix. The warm friendship comedy drama, starring Tina Fey, Will Forte and Colman Domingo, follows three sets of couples who holiday together four times a year. Everything we loved about the first season still works and it's just lovely to have a show like this which is warm, engaging, funny and low stakes as this in a television landscape which is still obsessed with thrillers. Next, Australian comic Sam Campbell, who rose to fame through panel show performances and an incredible appearence on Last One Laughing on Prime Video, now has his own comedy series, Make That Movie. The series, which follows Campbell's character, a respected film director and his team as they attempt to make the movie of regular people's ideas. If you are aware of Campbell's comedic style, the series is really surreal and silly, but funny and feels very different to the rest of Channel 4's comedy slate. Lastly, Hacks, a show we've loved since it began, comes to an end. We do a deep dive into the final episode and what made the show work so well.  For our Quiz, Luke tests Matt and Dawn to name as many actors as they can from the Russell T Davies shows.

Russell T Davies has spent a career changing what British television can be, moving from children's drama to fearless queer storytelling and one of the nation's most enduring cultural institutions, Doctor Who. Whether reinventing Saturday night television, capturing the emotional truth of the AIDS crisis in It's a Sin, or turning the anxieties of modern Britain into gripping drama in Years and Years and his new series Tip Toe, his work has consistently shaped the conversation as well as entertained millions. In this episode of Full Disclosure, James O'Brien sits down with Russell to explore the childhood in Swansea that first formed him: a home full of books, teachers and respect for television, a huge comprehensive school where he learned to keep his head down, and the youth theatre that gave him both his tribe and his future.Russell reflects on the early obsession with Doctor Who, the long road into writing, and the Manchester years that changed everything, professionally and personally. He talks about finding his voice through queer characters, the shock of Queer as Folk becoming a cultural flashpoint, and why television has always felt like the natural home for the stories he wants to tell. They also discuss politics, backlash, imagination, gay identity and the darker mood shaping modern Britain. Along the way, Russell explains why storytelling is a form of witness, why no childhood is too happy to produce serious art, and how the obsessions of youth can become the work of a lifetime.Watch Tip Toe on Channel 4 from May 31st here Full Disclosure is a Global ProductionListen or watch every Friday on Global Player, YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts.EXCLUSIVE NordVPN Deal -> https://nordvpn.com/fulldisclosure Try it risk-free now with a 30-day money-back guarantee
