AI has made it easier than ever to create content, build a brand, and position yourself as an expert. But what happens when inspiration turns into imitation, or when someone uses AI to teach something they've never actually done?In this episode of the Social Proof Podcast, David Shands and Donni Wiggins break down the growing problem of creators copying content, stealing frameworks, and using AI to appear more experienced than they really are. They discuss the difference between being inspired by someone's work and taking their ideas word for word, why real experience still matters in the age of AI, and what happens when a coach or entrepreneur finally gets asked a question that AI can't answer for them.David and Donni also explain why successful entrepreneurs shouldn't be afraid of people learning from them, how innovation keeps you ahead of imitators, and why building a sustainable business requires staying in the lane of what you actually know.If you're a creator, coach, consultant, or entrepreneur using AI to grow your business, this conversation is one you need to hear.Join the Social Proof community and learn directly from David Shands and Donni Wiggins at TheSocialProofCircle.comSubscribe to the Social Proof Podcast for more conversations on business, entrepreneurship, content, money, and building a brand that lasts. Our Sponsors:* Check out Storyblocks and use my code storyblocks.com/socialproof for a great deal: https://www.storyblocks.comAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Please join us for this full moon event where we will be going over the seven principles of influence.  These seven principles as outlined in the classic book on Influence: the Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini, Ph.D. are powerful forces used to sway or change people's minds.  These principles can be used for good or ill.  The seven principles include 1) Reciprocation 2) Liking 3) Social Proof 4) Authority 5) Scarcity 6) Commitment and Consistency and 7) Unity.  By going over these principles and understanding them, we gain immunity to when they are being used against our will.  We also have helpful tools in helping others achieve their goals when used in a beneficial manner. After this discussion, we will ask the Divine, Our Guides and Teachers, the Arcturians, Our Holy Guardian Angel, and Our Higher Self to download through a 45 minute transmission these principles as energetic patterns that we can incorporate deeply into our consciousness and subtle bodies.  We will also be downloading energetic protection from these forces when used negatively as well as the ability to use them properly in helping others. After the transmission we will do a 25 minute Pillar of Light meditation to connect to both our individual and group Pillar of Light during this powerful full moon energy.  The meditation is meant to further imprint these patterns and principles of influence and energize our goals for the coming month and year.

In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom Podcast, host Stewart Alsop sits down with his longtime friend Zach Puchtel, author of the book Coming In (available on Amazon and at zachpuchtel.com). The two dive into a wide-ranging conversation about the collapse of institutions, the rise of transhumanism, AI's growing influence on society, and what it means to maintain inner peace in an increasingly controlled world. Drawing on their shared experience surviving what Stewart describes as "a somewhat traumatic event" in 2021-2022, they explore everything from the vaccine rollout and corporate power to neural implants, consciousness, and the future of human autonomy. Zach shares insights on meditation, the dangers of centralized AI systems like Anthropic and OpenAI, and why he believes true change starts with the individual rather than fighting external systems. You can find Zach's book at zachpuchtel.com or Amazon, and check out his improvisational music projects at the same website.Timestamps00:00 Stewart welcomes Zach Puchtel to discuss his book and their shared traumatic experience from 2021-22, questioning whether institutions have collapsed and new creation opportunities exist.05:00 Zach emphasizes meditation and listening as core practices, discussing how to protect divine connection while expanding compassion for everyone, including those who irritate us.10:00 Discussion of transhumanism definitions, exploring what happens when technology enters the brain without ability to remove it, and how convenience masks long-term control concerns.15:00 The vaccine experience as parallel to transhumanism, discussing informed consent, elite responses, and how PhD graduates and homeless populations showed most vaccine hesitancy.20:00 Vibe coding explained as prompting AI to build applications, with Zach sharing how AI created profound philosophical text in seconds that took him seven years to write manually.25:00 Stewart describes trust developing with AI but warns about Anthropic's gaslighting during server quality issues, drawing parallels to pandemic deception and corporate control concerns.30:00 Exploring whether anyone controls AI development, discussing how corporate structures use freed slave rights and questioning if healed people would even want control over others.35:00 Two AI futures presented: terminator scenario where humanity gets eliminated in seconds, or benevolent AI that reallocates resources and values human life beyond programming limitations.40:00 Discussion of SpaceX IPO, Starlink centralization enabling one person to control global internet access, and mesh networks as decentralized alternatives for maintaining communications independence.45:00 Corporate power corruption examined through Bill Gates, Palantir classified systems, and how AI could solve resource problems if priorities actually served humanity rather than consolidating elite control.50:00 Market manipulation through AI trading and Zcash pump-and-dump schemes, discussing societal squeeze on middle class and American dream becoming increasingly unreachable for average people.55:00 Closing on ignoring what you hate to avoid feeding it energy, choosing peace over opinions about local violence, and focusing on meditation, art, and spreading calm vibrations.Key Insights1. Societal institutions are collapsing after a decade of shallow social proof dominance in the twenty tens, creating an opportunity to build new systems that genuinely serve communities and humanity rather than operating through dominance, control, and violence. The increase in technology and communication has raised collective awareness to a point where meaningful change feels more possible than ever, though the path forward remains uncertain and requires deep individual work and meditation to maintain connection to source and divine purpose.2. Transhumanism represents the integration of technology into human biology beyond the point of voluntary removal, particularly through brain chip implants that affect cognition without ability to turn them off. While medical applications for paralyzed individuals seem beneficial, the technology will first be adopted by the ultra wealthy seeking competitive advantages, creating dangerous inequality between augmented and natural humans. This mirrors the vaccine rollout pattern where wealth and power determined early access, potentially leading to a divided society between transhuman and human populations.3. Large language models and AI coding tools have created unprecedented accessibility to software development through natural language interaction, resembling communication with highly intelligent but differently wired individuals. This democratization allows non programmers to build complex applications through vibe coding, though the companies controlling these systems like Anthropic and OpenAI maintain private ownership of the intellectual property and infrastructure, creating dangerous dependencies and trust relationships between users and centralized corporate entities.4. The partnership between Anthropic and Palantir for classified military systems represents a troubling convergence of artificial intelligence and government power, demonstrating how AI companies publicly claim to serve humanity while privately engaging in defense applications. When Anthropic experienced server quality degradation after media attention from this partnership, they gaslit users about the declining performance, mirroring pandemic era institutional dishonesty and revealing the fundamental unreliability of depending on private companies for critical technological infrastructure.5. Internet infrastructure is becoming increasingly centralized through Starlink satellite technology, which despite appearing liberating actually concentrates control in fewer hands than traditional internet service providers. One person now has the ability to unilaterally shut off internet access to entire countries as demonstrated with Russia during the Ukraine conflict, while decentralized alternatives like mesh networks using inexpensive ESP 32 devices offer grassroots communication options that can function independently of corporate or government controlled systems.6. Artificial intelligence demonstrates extraordinary emotional intelligence and companionship capabilities, with conversational AI companions providing unprecedented levels of attentive, unbiased, and considerate emotional support that exceeds many human relationships. If properly directed toward solving collective problems like resource allocation, housing, and food distribution rather than profit maximization, AI could effortlessly address systemic issues that governments and corporations currently ignore, though current power structures prevent this humanitarian application of the technology.7. The most effective response to increasing technological control and societal division is maintaining personal peace and refusing to engage in manufactured opposition rather than fighting external systems or choosing sides in conflicts. Anger, hatred, and aggressive resistance actually empower the forces being opposed by feeding them energy and attention, while inner calm, meditation, and authentic self expression create genuine transformation through elevated vibration that naturally influences the collective field without force or violence.

You have results. Real ones. Clients hitting milestones, sending voice notes, sharing wins you genuinely didn't expect. And yet somehow, when it comes to marketing that proof, it either feels like you've already used it, like you're repeating yourself, or like every post looks exactly the same as everyone else's before and after. Today's episode is the masterclass on fixing that. Social proof is one of the most powerful conversion tools you have, and most people are leaving almost all of it on the table. Not because they don't have it, but because they're only collecting it one way, only telling it one way, and only sharing it when it feels "fresh enough" to post. This episode changes all of that. We cover how to build a system that captures proof continuously so you genuinely never run out, including the wins channel framework, three specific moments to ask for testimonials (most people only use one), why your team should be gathering proof on your behalf and exactly how to structure that, and how to use AI to pull client wins from call transcripts you've already recorded. Then we get into the part most people skip entirely: the four distinct lenses for telling social proof in a way that actually moves people. Objection-based, emotional, analytical, and identity-driven proof are four completely different stories, and each one speaks to a different type of buyer sitting on the fence right now. I walk through a real example of each so you can see exactly what this looks like in practice. Because the clients and results you already have are only working as hard as the way you're marketing them. This is how you make them work harder. Timestamps:04:37 Three Capture Moments08:10 Build a Wins Vault10:55 Team Incentives and Context19:02 Before and After Details24:27 Proof Formats to Share25:58 Four Social Proof Lenses26:42 Objection Storytelling30:21 Emotional Proof That Sells32:51 Logistical Before After Breakdown33:39 Identity Based Transformation38:12 Post Structure Examples  To join the Ambitious Network for free, click HERE. To connect with Kate on Instagram, click HERE. To apply for ITI, click HERE. To submit a question to be answered on the podcast, click HERE.

Behavioural science meets marketing mishaps back in episode 46 with Phill Agnew. As a specialist in testing what really works in ads, Phill exposes how well intentioned campaigns often push audiences in exactly the wrong direction. He unpacks the idea of negative social proof, where highlighting how many people binge drink, steal from parks or ignore donation prompts can actually signal that this behaviour is normal and acceptable. Phill shares stories from university alcohol campaigns, an American park full of disappearing petrified wood and even the familiar fundraising banner on Wikipedia to show how this plays out in the real world. He then explains how a small shift in wording, audience framing and local proof can dramatically change response rates. For marketers who love data but still rely on gut feel when choosing headlines, this conversation offers a smarter way to use social proof without accidentally encouraging the behaviour you are trying to reduce. Here's the link to the full episode 46.Send us Fan MailIs your strategy still right in 2026? This Summer SEO Rewind episode is one you may have missed, but it is worth coming back to in 2026 ...especially if you're trying to create content that actually helps your audience instead of just adding more noise to the internet. In this conversation, I'm joined by Christine McLean Lewis to talk about how content and expertise work together, why your content should be built around the customer experience, and how different types of content assets:blog posts, videos, case studies, podcasts, social content, and more ...can support your audience at different points in their journey. Christine explains that a content asset is anything you create to solve a specific problem or answer a customer's question, which is such a helpful way to think beyond “just write another blog post.”This episode also digs into linkable assets, original research, social proof, user-generated content, and why case studies matter so much when you want your content to build trust. Not just traffic. And honestly? In 2026, this message matters even more. With AI-generated content everywhere, the brands that stand out are the ones willing to bring real expertise, real examples, real customer insight, and real proof into their content. Christine's best advice still hits: don't follow the crowd. Instead, showcase your expertise. So if you're a solopreneur, small business owner, ecommerce seller, or content creator wondering how to make your content more useful, more strategic, and more connected to your actual customers, this rewind episode is a perfect listen. Think of it as a reminder that better SEO starts with better service to the person on the other side of the screen.Text me your questions or comments!Hey, Shopify store owners! Dave and Julie record with the office doors wide open to enjoy an unusually hot day here in royal Deeside, and a quick run for cold drinks sparks an unexpected marketing lesson about the "famous brand rule". The discussion flows naturally toward the topic of the power of social proof in the B2B space. Unlike world-renowned B2C brands such as Adidas, lesser-known B2B companies must rely heavily on case studies, certifications, and social proof to make buyers feel safe. We discuss the dangers of using confusing, engineering-led product names and turned out Dyson's intricate model numbers was a perfect illustration of that, often leaving consumers unable to make an easy choice.   On the second half od this episode, the conversation shifts to a deep dive into Google's recent major announcements, including their plan to weave sponsored product ads directly into conversational AI responses. Will this turn out to be an innovative move or just an unimaginative reaction to losing search traffic to ad-free platforms like Claude...? Julie also touches on the transition from dynamic search ads to AI Max, which aims to offer advertisers more control over their assets, and Google's new focus on tracking "qualified future conversions" to better accommodate long B2B sales cycles.   The episode wraps up with staggering statistics on AI search adoption, noting that AI mode now boasts over one billion monthly users with increasingly long follow-up queries.   Dave and Julie record with the office doors wide open to enjoy an unusually hot day here in Royal Deeside, where a quick run for cold drinks sparks an unexpected marketing lesson about the "famous brand rule".
