TEA TIME, 9min., USA Directed by B.T. Goldman A detective interrogates a strange elderly Englishman about a missing person in his neighborhood. https://www.instagram.com/cybereggproductions/ https://www.instagram.com/b.t.goldman/ Get to know the filmmaker: What motivated you to make this film? I hadn't directed a project of my own in over a year, and I was at a wrap party for a short film that I was an extra in (SPRINKLES, directed by the Andrew Korzenik, written by Riley Stockard, and produced by Sky Mattioli, all great talents). I tend to be off in my own world a bit at parties, and the image of a wild, tuxedo-laden man forcing tea on a guest at a table in an empty room came into my head. It was kind of out of nowhere, and seemed like a really simple, filmable idea for an unsettling story. It was an eerie, but also amusing to me since I grew up with an English father (who naturally was cast as the Englishman in this film). From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film? I initially had the idea around September 2023, we filmed in February 2024, and I had the final edit in December 2024, so it was a total of about 15 months from conception to completion. How would you describe your film in two words!? Uncomfortably funny. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film? It was probably the audio editing. It really felt like everything came together fairly easily, everyone who worked on the film is a close friend or relative. Eric Alcaraz, our incredible cinematographer, is well educated in audio engineering and really saved me with that when I was editing. Welcome to another heartfelt episode of Tea Time with Just Rosie Moore, where faith, purpose, and unexpected beauty meet.In today's story, Rosie shares The Magnolia Story — a quiet but powerful moment between a mother preparing for her daughter's wedding and an elderly man carrying the weight of loss. What started with a mishap over a few ruined magnolias turned into something deeply moving and unforgettable. This episode invites you to reflect on how God often shows up in the ordinary, how purpose can be restored through connection, and how beauty rises even from broken places.Scripture reflections include John 15:5, Romans 8:28, and Psalm 34:18.Tune in and take a few minutes to breathe, reflect, and remember — you are seen, you are loved, and you are never forgotten. If this touched your heart, consider sharing it with someone else who may need a gentle reminder of hope today.
All of life in a fallen world will require us to be patient, to rule over our impatient spirits, to rule our spirit. We do not walk by emotions, or desires, but we learn to walk in obedience to the path God has given. Then, His reward will be sure and generous.

The people are hungry for love! Recent data shows that every literary genre experienced a decline in book sales with the exception of romance. Today's romance genre is not what it once was—we've got queer stories being centered, high fantasy reigning, and a world of BookTok influencers driving sales. But despite the craze, romance still isn't always taken seriously. In this episode, we talk to Tinx, legendary content creator and author of the newly published steamy novel Hotter in the Hamptons, about the ideas behind her book, what she thinks about the romance novel craze, and why we need to give this genre its flowers. Uranus brings innovation and disruption and Venus brings love and reciprocity. Notice how your connections, conversations, and consciousness are shifting and changing! What a fabulous time it is for disrupting market economies that rely on extraction and fabricated scarcity! What an amazing opportunity this era is giving us to innovate, invent and invest in new (and recycled) models for change! Use this week's influences to reflect on the ways you're reaching important culminations in your Capricorn-ruled placements and how these lineages and past experiences might support new growth, learning and possibilities in your Gemini and Cancer placements. For practical inspiration and motivation, I highly recommend Robin Wall Kimmerer's book, The Serviceberry. In Sacred Economics, Charles Eisenstein reflects on the economy of ecosystems: “In nature, headlong growth and all-out competition are features of immature ecosystems, followed by complex interdependence, symbiosis, cooperation, and the cycling of resources. The next stage of human economy will parallel what we are beginning to understand about nature. It will call forth the gifts of each of us; it will emphasize cooperation over competition; it will encourage circulation over hoarding; it will be cyclical, not linear. Money may not disappear anytime soon, but it will serve a diminished role even as it takes on more of the properties of gift. The economy will shrink and our lives will grow.”***
So often, we are caught up in the immediate things—getting the tasks done, housework, homework, bills paid, child discipline. Yet, it is the air our children breathe, the foundations we live by that will attach their hearts to ours and ultimately, potentially, to God.
