Excitement returns to the crew with the Trigger PV promo video before the limited recurring “40 for 40” segment revisits the year 2015. The cast ponders upcoming Transformers One Studio Series entries for Elita One and Bumblebee, then Bragging Rights follow before Mr. Starscream provides some domestic feedback on his recent trip to the UK-based convention, TF Nation.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast begins episode 320 with a discussion about the just-revealed Studio Series Gamer Edition sub-line featuring figures from Activision's War for Cybertron videogame of years past, including Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Deluxe Class Bumblebee and Barricade. Recent leaks and official reveals of repainted toys take up the bulk of the airtime next, starting with Takara's upcoming Beast Wars set with a re-decoed Kingdom Optimus Primal and Megatron. A leaked image of a reissue Thundercracker leads in to discussion of other rumored G1 reissues before the discussion shifts to the soon-to-release Titan Guardian Robot from the Generations Selects line. A brief look at an upcoming new Tow-Line figure leaked through a video review closes out the discussion topics, then Bragging Rights wraps up the episode in the usual fashion.
Steven and Jason look back at the Transformers Cartoon from 1984! Will Megatron benefit from a single gun emplacement on the top of a temple? How exciting is it to have Skyfire back? Is it as exciting as the Dinobots in a massive punch up with - Optimus Prime?! And what's wrong with Chip Chase's observatory? Covers the episodes of G1 Transformers, "Fire On The Mountain" and "War of The Dinobots".
This episodes begins with a special feature as we talk to Nick Roche, the writer of the new Last Bot Standing comic mini-series, about the new book and his time spent working on Transformers comics over the past 15+ years. Listen in to hear about the origins of the new story, details on the characters within and much more. Toy discussion topics with the regular cast of the show follow, starting out with a look at the upcoming Masterpiece Trailbreaker toy. Amazon's exclusive Wreck 'n Rule collection comes up next with all the reveals and preorders having hit throughout the week for toys such as Impactor, G2 Leadfoot, Springer, Twin Twist, Mr. Bones and another incarnation of Bulkhead that no one wanted. A brief chat about the new Studio Series figures headed our way leads into a talk about LEGO, who officially unveiled an Optimus Prime set that has fans buzzing. More toy repaint talk, a listener question about a hypothetical end of all Transformers comics and then bragging rights follow, but that's not the end of this one. For this special 300th episode, we dive deep into our memories and storage bins to figure out what our 300th most favorite Transformers is and why.
Episode 291 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast looks back at 2021 and ahead to 2022. The retrospective begins with opinions on the objective best Transformer of the year before a small tilt occurs for the next topic where the cast provides their subjective favorites. Transformers TV and comic book releases are looked at next, with Cyberverse on the minds of the cast when thinking about the best media of the year. After a tongue-in-cheek look at the year's "Most 2020 Moment", the best-of segments are put on pause as the talk moves into scolding the worst toys and general developments for Transformers during the past year. Positive reflections return with a look at personal collecting achivements that occurred in the past twelve months. Predictions follow with both easy calls and less likely, wishful thinking predictions for what could be in store for Transformers in 2022. The recurring Bragging Rights segment closes another episode and another year of the show as usual.

On Episode 286 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast the topics begin yet again with a final status update on the Victory Saber HasLab crowdfunding project, with a check-in on its progress towards stretch goals now that it has surpassed its initial funding goals. Takara Tomy's just revealed MPG-01 Shouki, the first part of its Masterpiece Raiden combiner, has been revealed so the crew talks about that next. A leaked image from a retailer presentation has confirmed the existence of next year's Titan Class entry for the Generations: Legacy lineup, which is none other than Cybertron Metroplex. Opinions split there before the discussion moves on to learn about Hasbro and Takara's listings for Tenseg figure stands. Catch-up chat on the Amazon Exclusive Kingdom Golden Disk collection follows with thoughts provided on all the entries from Ranger to Jackpot to Terrorsaur and more. The episode concludes with the recurring Bragging Rights segment.

On episode 268 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast, the cast begins with a 2020 retrospective, starting with the objectively and subjectively best Transformers of the year - your mileage may vary. Continuing on, the crew carries on with the "most 2020" Transformers moment and the worst Transformers anything of the past year. The cast lightens up the mood with a volley of predictions for 2021, both reasonable very-likely-to-happen predictions as well as predictions that might be considered wishful thinking. Next, the crew talks about the latest installment of the Netflix War for Cybertron trilogy: Earthrise. Specifically, episode 6, which includes plenty of setup for the third and final installment: Kingdom. On a side note, the crew eagerly awaits the Quintesson Drone version of Ironhide that appears in the series. The show moves on to the reveal of Masterpiece Thundercracker, which, while eagerly anticipated, surprised no one, and the crew shares their opinions on the direction the Masterpiece line seems to be taking. As per usual, the podcast ends with a round of bragging rights, where everyone shares what they acquired since the last episode.
Episode 256 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is all about the just released Transformers TV series War for Cybertron Chapter One: Siege, which is available to stream now exclusively on Netflix. The cast members provide their thoughts on the overall plot and its similarities to other Transformers fiction released over the past decade. The various supporting plots such as those involving Ultra Magnus, Bumblebee, Jetfire, Shockwave and others are also looked at, along with how they contribute to the acceleration in action and character development as the series progresses throught its six episodes. Extensive time is then spent on additional characters and their voice performances, with some like Starscream and Jetfire impressing while others such as franchise stalwarts Optimus Prime and Megatron left the cast feeling less than enthused. Other feedback is provided on production aspects of the show such as the quality of the animation, sound, score, other visual effects and even camera tricks used to add more transformation sequences into the story. The discussion of this latest TV series concludes with wishful thinking and speculation about the next chapter in the War for Cybertron trilogy, presumably knows as Earthrise given the toy line in stores now. After fielding a listener question about desires for the Generations Selects toy line-up, the show concludes with the recurring Bragging Rights segment where cast members boast about their latest Transformers toy and product acquisitions.
The Dinobots are MOVING ON UP out of the Ark's closet and to a deluxe apartment in the sky-y-y. NO, SORRY, I mean they're moving to a mysterious prehistoric island that was accidentally found in the middle of the ocean. PLUS, Powerglide tells us a lot about Powerglide, Starscream is as nervous as we've ever seen, and all of the sudden, there's new characters everywhere we turn. EVEN RIGHT OVER THERE! Episode 254 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast provides an overview of the latest Transformers news, beginning with Generations Selects' latest upcoming offerings, Rotorstorm and Tigertrack. Both are repaints of previous War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class releases Spinister and Sideswipe, and also have the distinction of being the namesake characters for two of the show's regular participants. In-hand looks at the quickly revealed and released Exhaust and Greasepit follows, with the Generations toy discussion concluding after that with a chat about Centurion and the weapons pack that comes with it. The featured discussion topic for the episode comes up next with in-depth - albeit mostly negative - opinions provided regarding the non-transforming action figures based on the Transformers, known as the Robot Enhanced Design or R.E.D. series of 6" "scale" toys. After comprehensive comparisons to similar lines such as Marvel Legends, Star Wars' Black Series and even Gundam Universe, a quick mention of the upcoming G1 Blaster reissue occurs. Next, impressions of the Transformers Collaborative crossover figure with Back to the Future are provided. The toy, Gigawatt, is a retool of the War for Cybertron Siege Sideswipe mold and the cast talks about its design as well as its questionable initial release where almost all of the toy's stock was purchased by re-sellers running automated software to secure orders. The recurring Bragging Rights segment concludes the episode.
Episode 253 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast starts out with the cast discussing how successful, or not, their hunts have been for the Target exclusive Skywarp and Thundercracker two-pack from the War for Cybertron: Earthrise lineup. Another Transformers crossover appears to have leaked out, with the available images showing a Transformers toy based on Top Gun character Maverick. Among the same set of images showing potential new upcoming products are a Cyclonus, Thrust, and Soundwave, with the cast providing their speculation on these slightly mysterious pictures. After that, the hosts touch on the release of a new Transformers video game trailer, followed by a quick reflection on the "Fan First Friday" for Transformers which featured exclusive t-shirts. A fair amount of time is then spent analyzing the just released Transformers #20 comic book and how it affects us based on the current state of our world. This eventually becomes into a look at authorial and artistic intention in media, but is capped off with a more lighthearted stretch where the cast sees just how many characters they can name in the large crowd shot at Swindle’s in the issue. The recurring Bragging Rights segment then ends another episode.

Thundercracker gets an unexpected promotion that thrusts him into prominence early in the war on Cybertron. He'll grow a little, learn a little, and maybe, just maybe, become a better, kinder evil space robot. Some Transformers are beasts and some are cars, and everyone is just going to have to live with that. Flywheels is more than meets the eye. Hey, do you like Brawn? If you don’t like Brawn, I’ve got bad news, buddy... We talk a lot about Brawn in this one. This one’s about Brawn. Oh, and also Skyfire’s back. On this episode, the R.I.G. crew find that they can’t get enough of sass-master Thundercracker and receive a friendly reminder about Skyfire’s Big Dick Energy. Also, they discuss the first female speaking role in the series and the implications of her dynamic with Spike and Bumblebee. And then there’s the matter of Brawn. Episode 249 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast begins with a pair of two-packs that aren't new, but they are new to show discussion. Earthrise Skywarp and Thundercracker as well as a Decepticon Clone two pack, with Pounce and Wingspan, will be Target exclusives under the Cybertron Villians sub-line. Next up, we discuss the newly revealed Masterpiece Lamborghini, named Spinout which is a homage to diaclone Sunstreaker. It looks like the animated prequel that has been tossed around lately may actually come to fruition because a director has finally been announced, leading to a brief chat about how there are allegedly dozens of movies in the Hasbro universe on the horizon. We close out the night with an in hand discussion of the Netflix Ultra Magnus, featuring a surprise inclusion from one of Hasbro's other brands: Play-Doh.

A few presumed it to be an exclusive item, and it turns out it is. A full case of this single item was found at a Toysrus in Singapore. We know it is an exclusive since it has an "imported by TRU" sticker in the back which, in Singapore, is used for their exclusives. This keeps an odd tradition of Thundercracker toys being exclusives, which we previously saw in the Studio Series line from Hasbro and in the Arms Micron line from Takara. Since there are no Toysrus stores in the US it is unknown how that toy will be made available in that country. While it is not the case yet for Transformers, there have been a few Hasbro exclusives for the Star Wars line that have only been made available at Toysrus stores elsewhere in the world with no distribution channel in the US. Transformers Studio Series Bumblebee Helmethttps://www.facebook.com/mytoymalaysia/photos/a.335783216621774/932290223637734/?type=3 Siege Wars Wave 1 Decepticons Over the last couple of weeks, store listings have been cropping up for the Transformers Siege line, with some interesting listings which confirm that yes, there will be some Decepticons in this line after their notable absence at SDCC 2018. Midtown Comics have now added listings for the first wave of Siege toys, which name the remainder of the first wave toys by confirming a Decepticon in every size class. There are no images yet – but we bet these will be officially revealed in early October at New York Comic Con 2018, if not a bit before.First off, there are the reveals that one could work out through educated guesswork. In the Micromaster size class, we have the Air Strike Patrol – who were also the only Decepticon patrol out of the original four Micromaster patrols in the original 1989 assortment. In the Battle Master size class, we have Targetmaster Blowpipe – partner to Generation 1 Triggerhappy, and doubtless destined to end up in the hands of Titans Return Triggerhappy toys everywhere. And in the Voyager size class, we have Megatron – because what is Optimus Prime without his age old rival? (Probably an Optimus Prime from one of those lines where Hasbro opted not to release Megatron, to be fair)The remaining two reveals are both major fist-pump in the air, “they’re finally making this guy!” class reveals. In the Deluxe class, we have Skytread. If you don’t know the name, don’t worry – it is what Hasbro renamed Flywheels to for Titans Return. So this suggests we are getting a Flywheels to go with this year’s Battletrap – and we’d go as far as to suggest with Cog’s gimmick of splitting into two vehicles for his transformation, we just might get a fully functional Duocon out of the bargain, although individual robot modes for the components might be unlikely at the pricepoint.Last, but by no means least. we have Shockwave. A leader class Shockwave, no less. We’d guess that he would go quite well with the other Leader class Decepticon leaders such as Combiner Wars Megatron and Starscream, and Titans Return Soundwave. We’re also betting his alternate mode will be some kind of spacecraft – possibly with wings that just happen to fold down so you can also make a “submarine” mode. The full lineup of Siege Wave 1 toys is as follows:Micromaster two-packs: Race Patrol, Battle Patrol, Air Strike PatrolBattle Masters: Firedrive (Firebolt), Lionizer, BlowpipeDeluxe: Cog, Hound, Sideswipe, Skytread (Flywheels)Voyager: Optimus Prime, MegatronLeader: Ultra Magnus, Shockwave Custom Spotlight Tackling Tacky Plastichttps://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1255520/painted-minis-still-sticky-after-monthshelp Transformers Bumblebee Ironhide Ratchet Optimus Prime Grapple Inferno Combinerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By2l2HBtxzo KO KornerNB Masterpiece MP-12+ Sideswipe ANIME COLOR EDITIONPrice:USD $34.95Shipping Cost: $8.19Total $43.14!!https://tf-direct.com/nb-masterpiece-mp-12-sideswipe-anime-color-edition_p2452.html Bedbugs Bargin Bin: Asshole of the Week: Guest (The Thirteen Questions) - Paul ChiuWhat's your preferred name/handle?Year born? What's your favorite sammich?Favorite music? What got you (back) into collecting? What scale do you collect?Focus collection or any Non-TF collections? To KO or not to KO?What movie makes you cry?Have you done anything untoward for your toy addiction?Tits, ass, legs, face, other? What’s a weird thing about you? idiosyncrasies, phobias, etc.Go to sex position? With the news completed, the team tackles some deep questions about the Great Cybertronian War and the impact on the galaxy, the timeline and scale of the fighting, as well as the implications of injury in mechanical lifeforms. Except some hot takes and back and forth banter as we dive into the taboos of scanning a new alt mode, generating chemical flamethrower fuel and ammunition, melee and energy weapons, and much more. We conclude with discussions on canon, head/personal canon, authorial intent, and the various continuities in the nearly 35 years of the franchise. Finally, the team concludes with some bragging rights.
In this episode of the Twincast/Podcast, "One With The Matrix", we join ScottyP, Megatronus, and RodimusConvoy13 as they catch up on the lastest Transformers news. This starts with the impending closure of Toys R Us and what impact that could have on both Transformers and the wider toy retail sector. That discussion leads into a break down of the last exclusive figure for the chain, Movie Studio Series Voyager Class Thundercracker. Next, first impressions are shared of recently revealed Power of the Primes figures including Voyager Class Inferno, Legends Class Cindersaur, and Legends Class Outback. The toy talk ends with a discussion of the possible upcoming Walgreens exclusive Wreck-Gar. Listener questions are answered next, starting with a question about what got us back into collecting Transformers. This is followed by a question asking what our favorite gimmick has been over the history of the toy line. The show moves to comic discussion beginning with the Optimus Prime Annual, then to the announcement of Requiem of the Wreckers, and finishing with Lost Light #16. Ending the show is the latest round of bragging rights.

The latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast, "Forged To Mic", primarily focuses on the Transformers mobile fighting RPG game from Kabam! Studios, Forged to Fight. This Android and IOS game has been available for some time now, and Seibertron.com's WilliamJames88 was able to travel to Vancouver for a visit with the creators of the title. He and the other cast members talk about the game in general, along with the creative process the developers take to bring the Transformers characters within it to life on the screen. Other discussions about the game and visit include those about Hot Rod's inclusion using his design from Transformers: The Last Knight, as well as the challenges the Kabam team faces in including characters that are known for using similar or identical models as other characters, merely in different colors. The Forged to Fight chat wraps up with general thoughts about to potential longevity of the game in a marketplace where products aren't always known for sticking around. The show ends with some unstructured chat about recent Transformers toy releases from Takara Tomy's Legends series and The Last Knight.

The news this week for the mighty Moonbase 2 to chat about are things like colour images of the Planet X Trypitcon and repaints for Thundercracker and Skywarp, we get to see an R/C toy of Squeeks (the new BB-8 of Transformers: The Last Knight) and will RID's Combiner Force become more like Combiner Wars in the toys and with the show? Moonbase doesn't know but they discuses what it could mean.
b768e1fb1f4bcf0d5f22f5b0afc7119e.jpgWe start with a brief note on the location for Botcon 2016. The Club Subscription Service 4.0 sign up period has come and gone, and Thunder Mayhem is upon us! Speaking of the Subscription Service, 3.0 Tarantulus has arrived, to the delight of the Twincast crew. Comic time: More Than Meets the Eye #44 is out and we really liked it! Next up we discuss the upcoming Year of the Monkey Air Attack Optimus Primal done up in G1 Optimus Prime colors. We wrap up toy talk with Takara Tomy's Legends Starscream Super Mode (aka Thundercracker) plus prototype leaks of Combiners Wars Brawl and Onslaught. We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights!
We start off with comic-talk, specifically Transformers #43 and the more divisive MTMTE #43 with Holo-matter avatars abound! Listen in for some strong opinions. Only a select few of the Twincast crew are caught up on the RID Cartoon as we ask one question: WHY? Listen in as we compare RID to its predecessors, discuss its strengths and weaknesses. Next up is Transformers Subscription Service Impactor which the Twincast agrees is COOL! Time for some Masterpiece talk featuring MP-11T Thundercracker and MP27 Ironhide! Doctor McGrath asks "Combiner Wars Devastator looks great, but where does he fit in your collection?" We finish up with some bragging rights!
We get started with a few of this year's Club exclusive figures: Subscription Service 3.0 Carzap, Club "freebie" Lio Convoy, and Club Store exclusive Nova Prime. Next up we discuss Combiner Wars Leader Thundercracker. With the release of Legions Class Cliffjumper, Skywarp, and Ultra Magnus, some of us want to know what all the Ultra Magnus fuss is about. We move onto something BIG - San Diego Comic Con's exclusive Titan Devastator. Next up is Unite Warriors Defensor with deluxe class Protectobot Groove. The time is ripe ... for a LISTENER QUESTION! News staff member williamjames88's thoughtful query initiates a lively discussion about buying at retail vs online. We get on to some unlikely art-talk with the release of five very cool Fembot concepts by IDW artist Alex Milne. The popularity of female Transformers amongst the fandom, and the demand for more toys of such characters, has been an encouraging trend. Botcon is less than a month away, and we've caught wind of some rumored Waspinator-based army builders. Which of these taste-the-rainbow decos make sense, and which don't? We finish up with some bragging rights!

The previously mentioned introduction by Counterpunch, Scotty P, Jon 3.0, and Tigertrack as we discuss small conventions, and Charticon specifically and some appropriate new news items like Generations Hoist and Thundercracker (and the other recently released Generations toys as well--check out the galleries!), the new Bot Shots reveals (cool new Soundwave!), and always relevant and reliable for a great discussion, the TRANSFORMERS COLLECTOR's CLUB and their sharing of the first full figure digital mock up of FSS 2.0 TREADSHOT and a secret scout-sized 7th character toy! Also in this short first segment, these 4 guys (missing a guy and fries) also discuss KRE-O, retail release of Platinum Edition toys, and even touch on the comics a little as we discuss the recent 'Dark Cybertron' covers and what has interested us lately in comics. Then, Part 2 of the podcast is a live recording from Charticon in North Carolina with podcasters Mike, Bob, and Scotty, and some other friends who joined them in discussions and fun. Don't forget! You will hear about the amazing reveal at the MOTUC panel at Power-Con. Did you know there was a missing Star Wars figure? Me neither. G.I. Joe was abysmal this week (as usual). No wonder they preempted their NYCC event with Kre-O news. Finally, Transformers, as usual, had a slew of news. Not quite as exciting as what we found out after the cast, but still interesting nonetheless.
This week, join Seibertron, Tigertracks, jON3.0, Razorclaw0000, and Joevill, along with special guest Paul Friemel/Diablien of Ript Apparel. This episode includes: Interview with Paul Friemel, Discussion of Ript Apparel, Paul's character-centric collection, GDO Leader Ironhide and Starscream, APS-01 Striker Prime, Dark Energon Edition Megatron, Voyager Brawn Cancelled?, Fall of Cybertron wrap up discussion (and spoilers!), Transformers Prime Legion figures, Masterpiece Thundercracker, TFCC/EHobby Solar Requiem, TFCC Subscription Service Preview Comic, Rainbow Shield Arms Microns, Unproduced Transformers/Justice League Crossover Art, Regeneration One #83, Robots In Disguise #9, Transformers Prime "Out of the Past", Bragging Rights!
Riding high on the news and big reveals from San Diego Comic Con 2012, Seibertron.com is proud to present a brand new Twincast/Podcast episode! We tackle the breaking news from Thursday's Hasbro product panel and displays at SDCC. Non-SDCC topics covered: Regeneration One #81, Transformers Animated on the Hub (in HD!), BW Neo on DVD in Japan, CM Corps Minerva, Fall of Cybertron toys on the shelves and then we move onto the SDCC topics: Transformers Prime, Universal Repackages, Amazon Jetwing and Year of the Dragon Primes, Fall of Cybertron (A Fist Full of Brutici?), Generations Asian Imports, Amazon G2 Bruticus, Toys'R'Us Masterpiece Thundercracker and Prime, Transformers Brand Panel, Kre-O Combiners and Kreon Micro-Changers, Transformers Prime toys, SDCC 2012 Exclusive Shockwave Hiss Tank Gallery
