This one hits super close to home for me like most of the straight up stupidity that further marginalizes people and creates more fear and mistrust through the spewing of Maga moron misinformation. FUCK THE STEROIDED SCHMUCK who has absofuckinglutely zero clue wtaf he is rambling on about while literally causing people to die and to be further pushed to the fringes of society when people on the Autistic Spectrum have worked so hard and there has been so much progress in including them as they should be fully into our lives. Fuck every single issue voter who refused to listen to their own family members who begged the public NOT to elect them. They are the assholes who should be pushed to fringes. Fuck them. Live your life. Apologies for the wind. I have been so pissed about this all day I ranted my entire bike ride home. I probably left out so much more I had to say but i'm exhausted and hopefully this covers most of it. thanks for listening. fuck this death cult. let your freak flag fly.

With an experience of over 20 years in psychology treating children and young adults in the autistic spectrum, Marlene Gómez Aizpuru, an autistic adult herself, opens a window to the autistic spectrum by sharing her personal and professional experience on how color influences and might affect children in the spectrum through the course of their daily lives. Intended to provide awareness rather than being a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, this interview longs for understanding and empathy for children in the autistic spectrum. It is important that you speak with your healthcare provider or child's pediatrician about how to treat him or her personally regarding light and color perception as just each person may have a different visual experience and/or their perception of light sensitivity might be triggered by various factors and therefore different treatments may be recommended.

In this episode I discuss the simple and inexpensive way to make your own probiotics at home that will be even better than buying them in supplement form (not to mention a fraction of the cost).Links to my book Autism Wellbeing Plan: How to Get Your Child Healthy:US Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Autism-Wellbeing-Plan-Child-Healthy/dp/1916393004UK Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autism-Wellbeing-Plan-Child-Healthy-ebook/dp/B084GBBDL9Video courses:The Healthy Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet for Autism & ADHD:https://www.udemy.com/course/gluten-free-casein-free-diet-for-children-autism-adhd-gut-dysfunction/?referralCode=F232BBF8D4DABBBF6110Sign up to my mailing list to get the below course on nutrient supplementation for your child for free: https://christianyordanov.com/autism-wellbeing-plan-resources/Nutrient Supplements for Autism, ADHD, and Children's Health:https://www.udemy.com/course/nutrient-supplementation-for-childrens-health/?referralCode=6269D58AC095B1D4039CWebsite: https://christianyordanov.com/

As a child psychologist Krysten Taprell noticed that a lot of parents were coming to her for help with nightmares. Not night terrors, just the normal nightmares we all get from time to time. For kids nightmares are such a common experience and it seemed a shame to her that they had to go to a doctor for something that should could help them fix on their own. On the podcast she shares her simple method to banish nightmares along with some of the other resources she developed to help parents solve problems at home quickly so they didn't have to get in to see a psychologist. Krysten Taprell is a Psychologist with over 20 years' experience working with children and families. She has worked in many settings including schools, Private Practice and Government agencies. She has extensive experience working with people on the Autistic Spectrum as well as conducting diagnostic assessments. During her work she found that she was seeing the same issues coming through her door, requiring the same strategies. This is why she started her website http://www.thetherapistparent.com/ (www.thetherapistparent.com). While some difficulties will need regular sessions with a qualified Psychologist, sometimes parents just need a few tips and creative ideas to bring change to their children's lives. The regular blog offers parents proven strategies and playful activities that children respond and also supports parents. Krysten has also written a children's book that focuses on empowering children to manage nightmares. Imagine being Neurotypical... able to understand emotions and give proper emotional responses, to be social and have friends. Now take a step back.... You have Autism.. you're on the Autistic Spectrum and all that I described before is not possible... Like all people on the autism spectrum, people who are high functioning have a hard time with social interaction and communication. They don't naturally read social cues and might find it difficult to make friends. They can get so stressed by a social situation that they shut down. They don't make much eye contact or small talk. People on the spectrum who are high-functioning can also be very devoted to routine and order. They might have repetitive and restrictive habits that seem odd to others. There's a wide range of how they do with school and work. Some do very well in school, while others get overwhelmed and can't concentrate. Some can hold a job, and others find that really hard to do. It all depends on the person and the situation. But even for someone on the spectrum who can do a lot, the commonality among those diagnosed with ASD is underdeveloped social skills. This podcast focuses on my Autism and what it does to my life every day. You won't want to miss this!...
