Spend Your Energy Wildly is the topic for Part 6, the final episode in our six-part book series. Gladys' teaching is that living well is a matter of learning how to steer your energy toward life. I recap the previous five lessons and illustrate how to receive the lessons and love from each moment. I share client stories and moments from my own life tied to the choice of expanding your energy wildly vs. wisely. I end the episode with Gladys' six-part practice on how to embrace and appreciate the gift of life. Gladys shares the decision to stop fighting at school in order to make connections. She had to redirect the energy and unconscious patterns created in her family with intention and purpose. We all have sovereignty over our energy. I share a moment from my life when my husband and I were inspired by families in our church to adopt children of our own. I discovered the capacity of both my light and darkness while raising five children, but I had the agency to expand and move toward light energy. I also illustrate Gladys' practice on how to embrace life with a series of questions for inquiry so life can grow and expand with you. Can you feel life's boundless energy moving throughout your body? This message is a reminder to embrace the wildness of life around you. Listen in to learn Glady's teachings as a stepping stone on the journey to a life well-lived. Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has launched court proceedings against ICAC after the watchdog found she had engaged in “serious corrupt conduct”.  Ms Berejiklian has launched the legal challenge to ICAC's findings after it earlier this year found she had committed a “grave” breach of the ministerial code by failing to disclose her relationship with former partner Daryl Maguire.  The report found she oversaw the approval of two grants in Mr Maguire's electorate of Wagga Wagga - a $5.5m grant to the Australian Clay Target Association and a $10m grant for the renovation of the Riverina Conservatorium of Music.  She also failed in her ministerial duties by not reporting her suspicion that Mr Maguire had engaged, or might have engaged in corrupt conduct, the report found.  Despite the findings, ICAC did not recommend she be referred for criminal prosecution.  Ms Berejiklian will now challenge the ICAC findings in the Court of Appeal.  The matter will first come before the court on October 9.  Mr Maguire was found by ICAC to have improperly used his public office during his time as a MP in order to promote his own financial interests, and those of his associates while deliberately not disclosing his position, and potential pecuniary benefits.  “Let it not be forgotten that during his time representing the people of Wagga and region he worked tirelessly for his constituents,” Mr Maguire said in a statement released in July.  “Indeed, he was described in evidence as a dog with a bone, a vociferous advocate for the electorate, or a pain in the arse when it came to getting improvements for the Wagga Electorate.”  - by Steve Zemek, news.com.auSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Glady Baradaran started this conversation by say unequivocally yes. For her, having a best friend at work who she can send an eye roll emoji to during a meeting to feel the relief of having a shared experience is super important.   Dave Roberts agreed saying that having friends at work for the emotional support makes the day-to-day experience better. He also shared a personal story about how having friends at worked helped him get through the loss of his daughter.   Todd Karges brought in the idea of friends being able to provide and help create psychological safety that managers or the larger organization as a whole just can't offer. Which might be a flaw in the organizational structure that employees have to figure out how to make that happen on their own with each other.   I followed up with the question, are friends at work different from friends outside of work. You'll have to tune into our conversation for their answers.   Do you think that having a friend at work is important?   This panel enjoyed their time together so much they asked me to schedule them together again to answer the question, what if you don't have friends at work?   Look for that conversation in the coming days.   (Apologies for Glady's scratchy mic. ICAC has found Gladys Berejiklian engaged in serious corrupt conduct.  Ben discusses why the bosses pamphlet was so very wrong about Glady's "saving Australia" and why corruption has no place in our democracy. The NDIS is turning 10 and the former minister under Morrison decided to throw some grenades at the people trying to navigate the system and those trying to stamp out sham contracting, differential price gauging and multinational rorters.  Ben talks about the need for reform but that the Liberals, like the Greens on housing, are all politics and zero policy. Ben explores the raft of changes Labor has starting in the economy from July 1 and why a larger budget surplus is good news for reducing inflation, future investments in education and a motivation for companies to pull their finger out and invest in workers and equipment. Along the way, they encounter obstacles and social stigma for being both single and transgender women. Their identities make them vulnerable to the caste-ridden, feudal and patriarchal landlords of the city, who deny them apartments and, in turn, deny their existence. Despite these challenges, Smile and Glady face every day with grace, humour and positivity, turning their anger and frustrations into songs, dances, plays and works of art that give them hope.

THE THESIS: The World has been taught a myth: if you feel a burning in your chest, if something makes you tingle, if it makes you feel better, it's the Voice of God. Glady, the Lord left us directions on how to discern whose voice we hear. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: 1 John 4Test the Spirits4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.God Is Love7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.THE NEWS & COMMENT: This is an easy one: God will never argue with Himself. He did not create non-binary people. Just shy of midnight on Wednesday 26th August 1942, across a wooden bench on Lover's Walk sat 44-year-old Gladys Wilson and her lover Second Lieutenant Ronauld Kurasz of the Polish Army. Both being married to others who the war had split apart, neither Glady nor Ronnie had planned to have affairs, as like so many others, they were just seeking a little affection during a turbulent time of loss and grief. After ten days of romance, being sat holding hands, they both knew their relationship was to end. But where-as she would see their love as fleeting, for him their love was forever… in both life and death.Found after her death, Gladys had written nine truly tragic words in her diary. The first four of which were “I love him, but…”. Van Badham and Ben Davison dive into the Liberal lies, cover ups and side hustles that have come to typify the Morrison government. With Morrison himself called a liar, not just by President Macron but also, by Former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull the credibility of Morrison's leadership is being called into question.  If other leaders can't trust Morrison what does that mean for our national security?  If we can't trust him here at home what does that mean for our economy, jobs, health and education systems? Dom Perrottet is holding a review of grant decisions following Glady's ICAC hearing testimony.  In a piece of pure political theatre the man who was treasurer and a member of the expenditure committee is pretending to not have been in government when his government was "throwing" money to win seats.   Did you know that Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes is also a consultant?  It has been revealed that the Senator for NSW has a side hustle as a consultant for a bio-fuels company that she has pay into a trust where she is the only shareholder and only beneficiary.  She's taken something meant to make our democracy stronger and perverted it to add to her $249,000 salary.  No wonder the Morrison government won't regulate the gig economy! The Cop26 Climate Conference has started in Glasgow and Morrison has wasted no time in rejecting the Global Methane Pledge and giving pride of place to massive gas exporter Santos.  In a move described as "a joke" by Malcolm Turnbull Santos' "Blue Hydrogen" process, where you burn and "carbon capture" gas to make renewable hydrogen instead of using solar, wind or hydro to make renewable hydrogen, has been promoted by the Australian stall and Morrison minister Angus Taylor.  On the plus side we have signed up to end deforestation and will participate in the protection of large parts of the worlds rainforests. The heart-warming news that every Australian awoke to this morning was the rescue of four year old Cleo Smith.  WA Police found the little girl alone in a locked house, her first words to them were "My name is Cleo".  The impact of the rescue, coming 18 days after her disappearance, is serving as a beacon of hope for many people after a trying period for the nation. Plus news on pay rises for hairstylists and a pay dispute at Country Road with gender equity undertones.

Weekend Wrap 29 August 2021: Glady's and Morrison delusions of Freedom day while 15,00 COVID cases active, daily records tumble, a thousand in hospital and 10% of jobs destroyed

Ben Davison looks at the delusions of Glady's and Morrison as Australia reaches more than 15,000 active COVID cases, smashes through 1,200 new cases a day, hospitals are overwhelmed, ambulance services issue warnings and testing clinics are attacked. The Doherty Institute tries to clarify that even at 70% vaccination rates, if COVID is as loose in the community as it is now, the only solution is lockdowns as Mark Butler goes on Insiders and warns that 6 million Australians will still be unvaccinated at the 70% mark.  NSW is, three months into "lockdowns", only just reaching the half way point to a 70% vaccination rate.  The Victorian breakdown shows that 600 out of the 773 active cases of COVID are under 40, with more than 300 under the age of 19, calling the whole basis of excluding people under 18 from the Doherty Model into question. The reality of nearly 10% of all jobs in NSW having been destroyed since this outbreak began should put an end to the health vs economy debate but doesn't even get a mention from Morrison, who refuses to put a wage subsidy scheme or paid vaccination leave in place, or Gladys, who remains delighted at testing rates and wants us to stop focussing on case numbers.

Van Badham and Ben Davison examine the rolling disaster that is Morrison and Glady's handeling of the COVID pandemic as NSW records a record 919 new cases and two hospitals, Blacktown and Westmead, are unable to take any more COVID patients.  The Ruby Princess inquiry finds the Morrison government didn't learn from mistakes overseas and let 600 COVID infected people out into community.  This as the UK and unvaccinated in the USA start to die and overwhelm hospitals in record numbers and Morrison tries to convice the nation that we too must "open up".  Van and Ben discuss how this feels like a political tactic and that Australian's aren't prepared to pay for community sport with the blood of our communities children. The workers at Graincorp and Toll are taking industrial action as both companies, hugely profitable, try to use the cover of the pandemic to cut job security and drive down wages.  Australian Unions have launched a national job security campaign as more and more companies are trying to further increase casualisation and outsourcing.  Van and Ben discuss how conservative governments in Germany and even Canada work with workers, in union, to improve job security while the Morrison government has, just this week, proudly taken the lid off the pool of more easily exploitable, temporary migrant workers.  The good news is that the roads we drive on will soon be able to charge the cars we will soon be driving as companies start making roads in the USA, Italy and Sweden that charge electic vehicles.

Van Badham and Ben Davison examine the situation in Afghanistan, Morrison's abandonment of our allies, the takeover of Kabul by the Taliban, what is happening to the Hazara people and the fears many have for women, girls and minorities.  People are desperate to get out as Taliban leaders declare national pardons but Taliban fighters are reportedly beating up fleeing civilians and the West scrambles to respond to the thousands of people in need of a visa, a flight and a new home. Van and Ben discuss Trump's poison pill "peace" deal, Morrison's long history of inaction to save the people who helped save so many Australians and the complexity of place known as "The graveyard of empires". COVID is out of control in NSW with over 8,000 active cases and a new single day record today.  People are angry, frustrated, scared and upset yet the failures of Glady's government to set clear, strong rules and provide the support people need to survive only seems to get worse by the day.  Attempts to make the pandemic about "individuals doing the wrong thing" fail to hold water as mouth pieces for foreign propaganda reveal in the notoriety gained from organising mass exposure events under the guise of "protest" without any serious consequences. Unions are fighting to expand the number of Australian's who have access to vaccine leave, currently at 1.6M, to ensure everyone who can get vaccinated is supported to get vaccinated.  Union members continue to win better wage outcomes as wage price data out today shows overall wages have declined and the average worker has seen their wages take a real terms cut of 2% over the last 12 months.  The Morrison government pushing the decline with public sector workers taking the biggest hit. There is good news on an electric vehicle highway in WA, the Kiwi bird and solar powered refrigeration trucks!

The 2nd quarter 2021 edition of Alert Diver Magazine from Divers Alert Network (DAN) is out. A great publication packed with so much great information. You can learn about shallow water arterial gas embolism, and travel to Roatan. You can also read about the Flower Garden Banks and Thunder Bay Marine Sanctuaries. It is a cover-to-cover read. The Cayman Islands are still not open to tourists at this time but they have put forth a five phase plan for reopening. The next milestone is September 9, 2021 when they will open for vaccinated tourists to enter with some restrictions but only if 80% of the island's population is vaccinated. If that is achieved then by October 14, 2021 the plan is to admit vaccinated visitors without quarantine restrictions. Great news out of Washington, D.C. - the US Senate passed the Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act of 2021 with a vote of 68 to 34. With bi-partisan support and sponsorship the bill is now with the US House of Representatives where hopefully it will make its way to President Biden for his signature protecting these apex predators. On this installment of Your Next Dive we will be heading to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands - no passport necessary. You can get in some great diving. If you like wrecks there is the Wit Shoal, Miss Opportunity or the Kennedy Barge. For reefs you can experience Sprat Point or Amando's Paradise. With water temperatures in the mid 80s and visibility between 60 to 100 feet you won't be disappointed. As for dive shops you might check out Admiralty Dive Center. Take a tour of the island and head to Mountaintop for a fantastic view and the world famous banana daiquiri. Some good places to eat include the Green House, Glady's Cafe or Coco Beach Club.

We return to our Mysskin series with his 2013 film - Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum or The Wolf and the Lamb starring Sri, Mysskin, Shaji Chen, Adithya, Baby Chaitanya, Angel Glady et al. The film is a truckload of Mysskin goodies, the Madras after dark shining through as the entire film is events over the course of a single night. It throws up and answers a lot of questions - what is right and what is wrong, good and evil with everything in between, how situations and decisions contextualized to the events determine more about oneself than we might assume. The film is ripe for both mining Mysskin's aesthetics and his philosophical musings. It might just be Mysskin's best film so far. To talk about the film, we have with us Angel Glady who wears many caps - actor, playwright, theatre activist, dancer etc. She plays the role of Bharati in Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, credited as vanadevathai (forest fairy). She shares with us her thoughts on the film, working with Mysskin and some great anecdotes from the time of filming. Glady is joined by Deepauk, Anantha and Ashoka. Listen on.

Van Badham (locked down in Sydney) and Ben Davison (locked down in Melbourne) examine how the Glady's "mockdown" failed to stop the spread of the Delta variant and now more than half of Australia is in lockdown with almost 1,500 COVID cases in NSW.  Sadly hospitalisations, ICU admissions and ventilations have almost doubled since last week's episode. Morrison holds a press conference to tell Australian's what a good job he's doing, lie about vaccination rates and pretend $350 a week from the government is somehow a generous act from a man who lives in a waterfront palace and collects over $500,000 a year.  But he's not going to say sorry for failing to roll out the vaccine.  No matter how many times we ask him, no matter how many cases there are and no matter how clearly he has failed. Boris Johnson has declared "Freedom Day" by removing all COVID restrictions at the same time his health minister, who is vaccinated, gets COVID in what is widely seen as Boris simply giving up on trying to keep people safe. The good news is from Greenland.  The new Inuit led government has decided to keep the oil and gas in the ground in an act of global solidarity with genuine consequences for their own sovereign goals.

You may have noticed that Bitcoin has been dropping slightly lately. Right now we’re sitting around 31k, and the high a few weeks ago was 41k. I just want to explain to you, with one chart, why it is EXTREMELY dumb to sell your Bitcoin now, and why I’m 100% confident Bitcoin is going much much higher throughout the rest of this year.Boom.One of the most bullish (bullish means good) charts I’ve ever seen. Let me break it down for you.See that faint squiggly white line? You may have to squint, sorry. That line is the Bitcoin price over time..Before this year, the previous all time high was in December 2017.See that on the graph? Good. Notice that there are GREEN BARS right after it?Also notice that the PRICE (white line) dropped significantly as those green bars rose? The same thing has happened MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the history of Bitcoin. The red arrows in the chart above point right at these points in time. So, what do the RED and GREEN bars mean, you ask?Simple.— RED = Liquid Bitcoin Supply DECREASING. This means that people who believe in Bitcoin are MOVING IT into COLD STORAGE (the gold equivalent of a VAULT 300 feet in the ground guarded by an army). People that are in the RED category DO NOT SELL. They are holding it long term.— GREEN = Liquid Bitcoin Supply INCREASING. These are people who move their coins to an EXCHANGE, like Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, etc. These people are net SELLERS. They want to exchange their bitcoin for dollars or euros or whatever and cash out. See, this is where it gets interesting. Notice the FAR RIGHT of the graph? That’s our present time, right here, right now, in 2021. As you can see, the faint white line? It’s at ALL TIME HIGHS. However, the RED BARS are ALSO at all time highs??What does that mean??Here’s my hypothesis, which I think has been confirmed over the past few weeks of price movement. 1) Bitcoin price went up over 300% this year. Lot’s of people got into it without knowing much about it. Now, seeing the price “crash” a little bit, they are selling in order to preserve some of their gains. I pretty much know this is the case because I’ve had to talk MULTIPLE of my friends and family off the cliff lately. As soon as Bitcoin hit 40k, they were all texting me asking if they should sell. I get it. Seeing your money 3-10x over the course of a few months would make anyone pretty anxious about selling it and buying a car or something.2) Those people who don’t fully understand Bitcoin are the ones that are SELLING IT right now. 3) The INSTITUTIONS are GOBBLING UP ALL OF THESE COINS and PLACING THEM IN COLD STORAGE.Grayscale bought $700M+ worth of Bitcoin 3 days in a ROW this week.Paypal buys hundreds of millions daily.Square does the same. Now, the world’s LARGEST asset manager, Blackrock, just released that they can now purchase it. These institutions are the RED BARS on the graph. These institutions are not “strapped for cash”.Blackrock alone has $7.6 TRILLION DOLLARS under management. (that’s about 8% of GDP)These “big dogs” are not worried about the price right now, and will likely never sell. Those massive red bars are SCREAMING at us right now. Don’t be that guy or gal who is uninformed, who sells their digital gold to the big hungry greedy corporation. They will GLADY scoop up your coins and lock them away in a vault, never to see the light of day again. This wouldn’t be a problem, if Bitcoin were like the US dollar, and the government could just easily print more to supply the demand. There will NEVER be any more than 21 Million Bitcoin.Never. Once you sell to these “big dogs” those coins are gone. Not to mention, when you sell, you have to pay 20-40% capital gains tax. So good luck paying that tax, and being able to buy back your coins for 20-40% less than you sold them for.More likely, this current cycle will shake out all the wusses (sorry, that’s what I told my dad he was when he considered selling haha) And then the price will keep going up because there’s literally nowhere else for it to go.No one else will be selling. There’s not enough Bitcoin to go around.I hope that made sense, let me know in the comments below. And share this with anyone you know who might own Bitcoin. (you can just forward the email)And tell them, from me, to stop being a wuss and hold their damn coins.KaleREMEMBER, for a limited time, this letter is FREE for 30 days. You should subscribe. Every week Twisted Two's dives into a pair of uniquely terrifying stories that are worthy of a more in-depth look. For this week, we focus on the mysterious phantom stalker of the Wacker’s and the death of Corey Scherbey. Get ready for Scary Mysteries, Twisted Two’s. 1 Phantom Stalker For Bill and Dorothy Walker of Stark County, Ohio, life was quiet and unassuming. They lived in the small peaceful town of Massillon all their lives and have been together over 48 years. Everything seemed fine but in 1984, the couple’s troubles began. They returned home one day to find their home fully ransacked. All their belongings were left lying about everywhere, making a complete mess, but nothing was stolen. Since nothing was missing, the couple kept the incident to themselves and didn’t report it. Later that same year, the couple experienced a similar break-in. Again, nothing was stolen and they thought it was best to not report it. However, when it happened a third time on January 16, 1985, Bill Wacker decided to tell police. 2. Corey Scherbey It was August 22, 2011 when Gladys Scherbey went ahead to check on her son, Corey Scherbey, in his home at Chilliwick, British Columbia, Canada. It was a routine visit. But there was something strange this time around. Despite repeated rings on the doorbell and several knocks, Corey never responded. Glady’s decided to let herself inside but what she found would haunt her forever. She found her son, Corey, on his knees, slumped over with his face pressed into the cushions. He was dead. Around the body, was a huge pool of black liquid believed to be blood. She turned over the body and was shocked she couldn’t even recognize her son’s face. She said the face was extremely pale and his eyelids were white. On the floor around the house, she also noticed bloody footprints. Even more, he seemed to be missing ears. Extremely horrified, she left the home and decided to call police.

DJ Kool Herc (Hercules), founding father of hip hop.   46.    It's summer time of 1973 in the Bronx NY.   47.    In the recreation room at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, a HISTORIC party jumps off. - And hip hop is born!   48.    Bio: Kool Herc was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, moved to NYC as a teen and started spinning records at parties with his dad's PA system.   49.    He was deep into Reggae and he styled himself like a Jamaican “selector” (DJ) and did a lot of “toasting” (talking/chanting) over the instrumentals.   50.    But his real genius was paying attention to the crowds. He said a lot of DJ's back then would put on a record and go smoke a cigarette.   51.    He watched what got the crowd going and noticed hat it was the instrumental bridge, or drum breaks, that was hot with the dancers.   52.    His SIGNATURE move and GROUNDBREAKING contribution was to use the two turntables of a regular DJ setup, NOT to switch between songs, BUT switch back and forth between the break beats and keep the crowds moving!   53.    His homie, Coke La Rock, would get on the mic and do shout outs ("so and so is in the house!"), do call-and-response phrases (yes, yes, y'all - you don't stop, ...just throw your hands in the air), and do catchy "poems" (Hotel, motel, you don't tell, we won't   54.    tell)   55.    Herc had been working on it this new style for almost a year, but that summertime party in 73 was his breakout moment.   56.    After that, the crowds got too big for the rec room and he started throwing jams in the park. Those crowds where bigger than some at the clubs and that's where all four elements of hip hop would really come together. (Dj'ing, MC'ing, dancing, and graffiti)    57.    He got stabbed at a party just a few years later, and while he was sidelined, his 2 homies and "understudies" took over hip hop, Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash!    58.    Hip Hop basically started by presenting a party on wax.   59.    Question: How has partying changed? (i.e., dancing, music, sex, drugs, socializing, violence, etc...)   60.    Final thoughts: Kool Herc continues be an undervalued personality.
