Council Ford Insurrection: The Second Amendment 2043-2063 by J.Thomas Bowne JD Moderngunregulation2043-2063.com https://www.amazon.com/Council-Ford-Insurrection-Amendment-2043-2063/dp/1665773413 It is 2043 in rural America as thirty-three-year-old marine veteran and sheriff department sergeant, James Mulvaney, goes about his days, well aware of the stresses of rapid technological and other changes that are affecting those who choose a more isolated existence. “While on temporary loan to the Middlestate Police and patrolling highway S-93 Council Ford Sheriff Mulvaney stops a nervous Norman Galvan for speeding. While helping Galvan to secure a loose tarp on his truck Mulvaney observes a load of empty rifle crates in the bed of the truck. Although Galvan is seemingly nervous, Mulvaney sends him on his way, noting that follow-up was needed. Surrounding this stop a chain of events unfold showing how some Council Ford locals form a militia in the belief that their way of life is threatened and that their guns, not the voters' ballots, are their final protection against the tyranny of a new state gun control law and invasion of technological change that will end their way of life. Finally, Mulvaney is called back to Council Ford in fear that violence was brewing. Little did anyone know that soon an insurrection would erupt at the Council Ford Courthouse and that gunfire, explosions and fire would result in the deaths of twenty-five Americans. In this exciting political thriller set in a future rural America, a group of extremists unfurl a plot to oppose gun regulation and stop government tyranny.

A one-time tattoo shop owner, Van Tatenhove studied fine art in college and as a journalist, in 2014, he embedded with the Oath Keepers while following the story of Cliven Bundy and the rancher's standoff with law enforcement.  Later, Jason went on to become the Oath Keepers National Media Director. But after being silenced by the Oath Keepers leader, Stewart Rhodes, for his support of same-sex marriage, Van Tatenhove distanced himself from the group. He did not attend or support the January 6th Insurrection, but he did the country a great service when he testified to the committee. Hawk watched Donald Trump's State of the Union address on February 24, 2026, then watched the Democratic response delivered by Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, and came away far angrier at the Democrats than at Trump. While Trump's behavior was predictable, the Democratic response was scripted, sanitized, and shockingly silent on the most damning facts about a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, and fraudster who was indicted 91 times across four jurisdictions, convicted on 34 felony counts for interfering with the 2016 election, incited the January 6th insurrection, and whose company was convicted of 17 fraud-related felonies. Spanberger never said the words convicted felon, rapist, fraudster, fascist, authoritarian, or genocide. She did not mention Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, or the ICE killings of Renee Good, Alex Prey, or Keith Porter. She did not call Trump a liar. She did not mention that he pardoned January 6th insurrectionists, ignored the Constitution, or is dismantling democracy. Meanwhile, Raphael Warnock, when given time on air, immediately named Epstein, called out the administration's wickedness, and spoke to the transfer of wealth from the bottom 75% to the top 1%. Hawk argues Warnock, or the young Somali woman from Minneapolis who spoke plainly about racism and murder, should have delivered the response instead. Congressman Al Green was physically removed from the House floor for holding a sign reading "Black people are not apes," while Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, and every other Democrat sat silent. Hawk also points to the DNC's own post-2024 autopsy confirming that Democratic support for Israel's actions in Gaza cost them the election, yet Democrats continue accepting millions from AIPAC and J Street.
