Let me break this technique down for you: While the oven preheats, chop vegetables into large pieces (things like broccoli and cauliflower) and put them in a bowl with 2cm of water. Cover it with cling film. If you microwave the veggies on high for 3-4 minutes, they'll be done. No saucepans. No boiling water. It's much faster. Once the oven's preheated place frozen fish or chicken into the oven. After the meat is cooked serve up the steamed veggies and any other vegetables you want. The full length of time might be 30 minutes but it only requires 10 minutes of ACTIVE work from you. Once the meat is in the oven and the veggies are in the microwave, you work is done. These can last for 3 or 4 days… or even more. If this is you, here's something to help: Lower your carbs gradually. See, when you first cut carbs, your body gets a bit rattled. And this could very well be the cause. In this case, gradually cut down your carb intake rather than the sudden cut. Lower your carbs over an entire week until you reach under 20 grams by the 7th day. For example, eat 60 grams of carbs on the first day, then 50, then 40, 30 and so on. This gradual shift could help. Quando mi viene posta questa domanda rimango sempre un pò perplesso perché mi viene da pensare che chi me la pone sia convinto che io faccia tutto il contrario di ciò che spiego da anni nei miei video. Ovviamente io sono il primo della fila a fare tutto e per tutto ciò che spiego, racconto ed insegno. La dieta chetogenica è un tipo di alimentazione che prima di tutto va a stabilizzare i livelli di insulina, va a regolarizzare gli ormoni, alza i livello di energia, focus e concentrazione, fa sparire la fame e la voglia di cibo, ripristina il senso di sazietà, ed è una cura a tutti gli effetti a livella mitocondriale che onestamente mi sento di dire i mitocondri (ciò che produce energia) siano la cosa più importante del nostro organismo. Poi, ma solo poi, se c'è da perdere peso, si perderà peso :) Nel video spiego tutto.

Queste tre diete (stili alimentari) hanno molto in comune, ma anche differenze sostanziali. La dieta paleo è caratterizzata da un importante consumo di grassi, simile a quello delle proteine ed un consumo di carboidrati ridotto rispetto alla norma ma comunque più alto rispetto a cheto e bulletproof. Carne, pesce, verdura, frutta e semi sono le categorie di alimenti principali. La dieta cheto (dieta chetogenica) mira a farti entrare in chetosi, ovvero produrre energia dai nostri grassi e non dal glucosio (per questo motivo il perdere peso diventa abbastanza agile così come per la Bulletproof). Elevato consumo di grassi salutati, moderato di proteine e minimo di carboidrati è ciò che la contraddistingue. La differenza sostanziale con la Bulletproof è che non fa molta attenzione alla qualità degli alimenti quindi puoi entrare in chetosi anche con latticini ed affettati e wurstel per intenderci. La bulletproof (quella che seguiamo nello stile di vita KETOLIFE) è uno step oltre: obiettivo primario è quello di ridurre l'infiammazione corporea mirando alla qualità degli alimenti. Diventa una sorta di cheto (con alimenti di qualità) e con l'introduzione di un giorno di ricarica settimanale (cheto ciclica) per uscire momentaneamente dalla chetosi e scongiurare i POSSIBILI effetti collaterali di una cheto ristretta protratta nel tempo (scarsa qualità del sonno, tiroide, ecc).
