Lesley Stahl, a linchpin of CBS News, began at the network in 1971, covering major events such as Watergate, and for many years has been a correspondent on “60 Minutes.” But right now it's a perilous time for CBS News, which has been sued by Donald Trump for twenty billion dollars over the editing of a “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris during the 2024 Presidential campaign. Its owner, Paramount, seems likely to settle, and corporate pressure on journalists at CBS has been so intense that Bill Owens, the executive producer of “60 Minutes,” and Wendy McMahon, the head of CBS News, resigned in protest. Owens's departure was “a punch in the stomach,” Stahl tells David Remnick in a recent interview, “one of those punches where you almost can't breathe.” And far worse could happen in a settlement with Trump, which would compromise the integrity of the premier investigative program on broadcast news. “I'm already beginning to think about mourning, grieving,” Stahl says. “I know there's going to be a settlement. . . . And then we will hopefully still be around, turning a new page, and finding out what that new page is going to look like.” Although she describes herself as “Pollyannaish,” Stahl acknowledges that she is “pessimistic about the future for all press today. . . . The public has lost faith in us as an institution. So we're in very dark times.”
On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump's tariffs must be paired with major Trump tax cuts to avoid a recession and grow the economy. Tax cuts don't cause inflation or deficits—government spending and money printing do. Ronald Reagan's tax cuts prove this. Without tax cuts, a recession will hit, and Republicans will suffer in the midterms. This is the Democrat's economy which Trump is trying to fix. Also, the Wisconsin Supreme Court vote was a tragic missed opportunity that could lead the state toward a California-like future. Non-voting Republicans failed to protect their communities, potentially dooming the state to soaring taxes and regulations, marking another instance of self-inflicted tyranny. Later, the media is shockingly defending criminals and terrorists, as seen when Leslie Stahl asked a hostage if Hamas starved him due to their own lack of food. Meanwhile, they ignore critical stories, like a young Palestinian murdered for opposing Hamas. You can't believe the media. Additionally, ICE has deported over 100,000 illegal immigrants in the last 70 days under the Trump administration. While the illegal immigration crisis is improving, progress is hindered by the radical left as Judges continue to challenge Trump's efforts to remove illegal criminals. Radical district judges claim that illegal criminals have a right to due process, aiming to clog the court system. These judges are bureaucrats hired by other bureaucrats. Finally, it's of great concern that Russia will invade a small NATO country triggering Article V and testing our resolve, but simultaneously China will invade Taiwan, which would create a very, very serious set of problems for our country. Both countries are creating bases throughout the world, from the arctic circle to our hemisphere (including the Panama Canal), western Africa to the South China sea. Learn more about your ad choices. Scot Bertram discusses news and headlines
The show opens with a reminder of VP JD Vance's worry that our European allies are not sharing the same shared values we once had, which dovetails into the lawfare against Marine LePen in France. Another activist judge believes he controls the hiring and firing at the CIA. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) cannot find any statutory and Constitutional basis for the wielding of such inferior court powers. DOGE reveals that the U.S. Institute of Peace not only deleted 1TB of financial data, which was thankfully recovered by the DOGE team, but we are getting a slight glimpse into their lavish spending. On top of that, they were also doling out taxpayer money to the Taliban and Iraq. We look at the effects of the woke mind virus on people and how sad and debilitating it is. It causes fits of rage, damage to property, criminal behavior and a desire to blame the innocent over the law-breakers. So, let's remind you about that loan Musk took to get Tesla off the ground. He qualified under a loan program conceived by President Obama and put into law by a Democrat controlled congress. And, while several other also took a loan, he paid his back in full, early and with interest. Many of the others went bankrupt and had their loans forgiven. The Atlantic screws up another story. Turns out the “innocent' Maryland man deported to El Salvador was really an MS13 gang member, now designated as a terrorist. Border Czar Tom Homan makes no apologies for what they are doing. Leslie Stahl is a filthy piece of human debris. Interviewing a Jewish hostage of Hamas who was freed thanks to Donald Trump, when he comments he was starved, she immediately tried to find an excuse, asking him to consider if that was only because Hamas didn't have food for themselves? He immediately told her they ate in front of him as part of his torture. We close with a few back-to-back stories. A childless woman thinks she should get Meternity leave. The Anteater himself, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) who is worried about oligarchs, paid his stepson over $800,000 to run his foundation. The Village Idiot Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) demonstrated real racial bigotry toward Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and his wife, so we get a Jim Gossett satire song about the ghetto. Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. The Canadians seem pretty PO'ed. The fight for the Panama Canal is a smart one. The end of USAID. Airstrikes against ISIS in Somalia. Trump: The First 100* Days with Tony Katz April 17th. The class-action lawsuit against the FAA for its "diversity" hiring. Plane crash in Philadelphia. Tony to video stream the morning show soon, but he wants to go all in. Chief Bailey, will the IMPD cooperate with ICE if asked? PETA wants us to eat broccoli instead of wings for our Super Bowl parties. “Mr Freeze” McConnell goes to Leslie Stahl to criticize Trump. Cold? Get a sweater machine. Elon, is Todd Young a deep stater? Tara Hastings, is Punxsutawney Phil right? WWE Rumble was a success, but did it help Indy businesses? Trump keeping China on its toes, but why the tariffs against Canada? Maybe Dems will nominate Gavin Newsom. Are we going to war with Mexico, their cartels are going to war against us. Leon Tailoring going out of business. Schumer under investigation.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today's show opens with Kash Patel suggesting subpoena's need to be issued to the company where Judge Juan Merchan's daughter works to see if any money was being made illegally by leveraging the hush-money payments trial. When in doubt, follow the money. It's nice hear that Victor Davis Hanson sees the California wildfire situation very similar to how we've been discussing it here on the show. He liken Governor Newsome to Nero, playing his fiddle while the city burns. We then go to a bald-faced lie told this past Sunday by Gov. Newsome on Meet the Press. He wants us to believe all of the reservoirs were full. Similarly, the Designated Liar, Adam “Lying Piece of” Schiff, went on ABC and was much more clever with his lies about the reservoirs. Independent journalists with The Free Press looked into the Santa Ynez Reservoir and discovered it has been empty since February of 2024. We have an insight into why that is, thanks to a radio interview Water Chief Janisse Quinones gave to KBLA radio. For her, equity and social justice are their primary goals. Having water available didn't make her list of priorities. Continuing with the mismanagement theme, a local rancher shot video of all the dead wood and felled trees that are a tinderbox waiting to happen. And, it would be because of climate change. In fact, Michael Shellenberger interviews Jon Keeley, a US Geological Survey scientist who says the issues have zero to do with climate. Even Jillian Michaels points out, Every bit of this is incompetence, mismanagement and worse. We then move to FBI Director Christopher Wray's interview on 60 Minutes, where he admits China is an unsolved foe. I guess they should have been more focused on actual threats rather than persecuting parents at school board meetings. Leslie Stahl beclowned herself as well, something she is tremendously gifted at doing. She tried to get Jamie Diamond to turn on Trump. She tried it three times and was rebuffed every time. Finally, Donald Trump said he will tell us about the drones within a day of taking office. He said it's a travesty that the current administration has been silent and done nothing. Today's show is a big one before heading into the weekend. We start off, as we always do on Friday's, with a run through the news you may have not heard about on Legacy/mainstream media as we dive into Tara's Top 10. On the heels of that, my good friend Kerry Sloan from “We the Female” made an interesting observation about the assassination of the United Healthcare CEO. Where is the usual cry from the Left to ban guns and infringe on the 2A? As the show started, we got breaking news that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had been injured on a trip to Europe in honor of the anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. She is in a hospital, but a spokesperson said she was working, just unable to attend the rest of the events. Then I remind you of an exchange between Rep. Clay Higgins (D-LA) and FBI Director Christopher Wray. Higgins wanted to know if there were an Confidential Human Sources embedded in the J6 protesters? Wray would not answer, but indicated there were none and if there were, they didn't do anything wrong. This leads to the just released DOJ IG report on J6. It is confirmed that at least 26 CHS's were in the protest. So, I remind you about the psychology of the mob. Mayor Eric Adams (D-NY) says he is going to work with Trump because we are now missing 500,000 children since the Biden-Harris regime opened our border. He said he must protect everyone, including children and citizens from crime. Tom Homan agrees and says Trump will likely pull Federal funds from cities/states that refuse to follow the law. What a difference two days can make. Suddenly, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) is interested in taking a pardon if Joe Biden offers. So we remind you again, this time from Rep. Adam “Crybaby” Kinzinger (R-IL) that you aren't offered a pardon unless you did something wrong. The ProPublica heat-piece that blew up earlier this week is now the subject of a piece in The Federalist. They came to the same conclusion I did, that smear just landed Pete in the seat of Secretary of Defense. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AS) is worried that elected Republicans are feeling pressure to do what the voters want when it comes to Donald Trump's nominees and agenda. Well, imagine that! She's upset that she is supposed to represent, not rule. The Biden Administration is trying to auction off all the border materials for pennies to thwart Trump's plan to get back to building the wall. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R-TX), in a brilliant move, is willing to buy them up to have them ready. Finally, Leslie Stahl laments that Legacy/mainstream media is dying and she's not sure how to save it. I offer some suggestions to include no longer being the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party. I'm not worried about them taking my advice. That sentiment is also echoed by the Editor-in-Chief of The Federalist, Mollie Hemingway. Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. House Rep. Jeff Jackson (D-NC) - who's running for the state's attorney general's office - has taken to social media to clear up much of the disinformation surrounding the damage done to western North Carolina and the coordinated federal, state and local response. Oh, and sadly, he had to rebuke Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who asserts that government controls the weather to target hurricanes at MAGA hotbeds. '60 Minutes' interviewing both presidential candidates is a near-half century tradition. As the Harris/Walz campaign brushes off criticisms both Kamala and Tim aren't doing "serious" media interviews, it was Donald Trump and JD Vance who backed out of the Monday broadcast. Wait; Donald said Kamal "can't handle them," but it was he who sought an "apology" for the last Leslie Stahl sit-down he fled. That's rich. Instead, he ran to the open arms of ... Laura Ingraham (who kind of fact-checked him a little). I reviewed the Harris (and Walz) sit-down with Bill Whitaker.

Peter Anthony is a TV producer, Paranormal Investigator, a published author of several books, including Key Master and Miracle Dogs (short story), a contributing writer for several magazines across the country, including Johns Hopkins Medical Journal, and a Numerology expert. The early days of Peter's career began when he was studying to become a special effects make-up artist. Anthony received a phone call to make an appearance on Leeza Gibbons' ABC P.M. Magazine show when a scheduled guest cancelled at the last minute. Peter was unaware that this phone call would launch his career in television. Julie Gauthier, producer for CBS News, tuned in the night that Anthony's segment aired, and the rest, as they say, is history. Working alongside news anchors Dan Rather, Diane Sawyer, Leslie Stahl, and Bob Schieffer, Peter was quick to rise, and was soon working with the who's who in television and film as a freelance image consultant. In 1987, the after effects of a Near Death Experience, presented an inexplicable gift of mathematical codes such as, 222, 333, 444, as well as a series of 0.00's, followed by a series of 1111's. This played a life changing occurrence in Anthony's life. His artistic talents disappeared, and were replaced with Pythagorean codes, allowing Anthony to become an authority on ancient Numerology.Hollywood VIP's behind closed doors heard of Peter's gift as an intuitive and began booking private sessions for themselves, their family, friends, and colleagues. In 1995, Peter's NDE abilities landed him on Fox's hit TV series, Sightings. Anthony traveled extensively throughout the United States, working alongside a team of paranormal and forensics experts as a psychic detective. Resolving forgotten murder cases and exploring haunted houses, cemeteries, abandoned caves, and concentration camps skyrocketed Peter's career into becoming an overnight success in television. Mr. Anthony has appeared on The Leeza Gibbons Show, Borderline, Fact or Fiction, Beyond Belief, Celebrity Séance, The History Channel, Celebrity Psychic, Spirit Talk with Chris Fleming, and numerous morning TV shows. Peter has also been a guest on radio shows such as Coast to Coast with George Noory, Midnight FM, The Age of Truth, Dark Thirty Radio, The Outer Limits, The Art Bell Show, and I Heart Radio, as well as numerous YouTube, Podcast, and radio, shows across the world.Peter Anthony's international book tour has propelled him to become a defining speaker for NDEs. Mr. Anthony's book, Key Master, inspired by his own near death, has been inducted into the Edgar Cayce Library and is under development for a documentary series. Whether it is clear to us or not, our universe has an undeniable order. The Key Master Trilogy book series unfastens two thought-provoking questions. “What happens when we die? While the right howls with indignation that VP Kamala Harris is going to do her first network TV interview with MSNBC'S Stephanie Ruhle, they seem to forget her opponent, Donald Trump, never wanders far off the OANN/NewsMax/Fox News reservation himself. The few times he has, of course, he's stormed off set (ask Leslie Stahl and '60 Minutes'). I dove into that double-standard a bit, focusing on NYT conservative columnist Bret Stephens' latest piece portraying him as a "never Trumper" who's also a "Harris skeptic." Ruhle, meanwhile, put him in his place Friday on 'Real Time with Bill Maher.' It's as if, by the way, they don't both have records to run on: Harris as VP, and Donald, of course, in the Oval Office. I point this out all the time when he flings another lofty promise out - "why didn't he do it when he was President before?" --- My guest today was Rep. Ruwa Romman (D) - the state's lone elected Palestinian American and one of only a handful nationwide. I caught up with her after that whirlwind week at the DNC where she *almost* became a speaker at the convention - representing the plight of Palestinian. Instead, she was rebuffed and I wanted to get a sense of where she is on party loyalty, what support she has from local and state parties and if Kamala Harris presents anything different for those who want a ceasefire and disarmament of aid to Israel.
As we shared with you last week, we gathered at the Reagan Library on June 5, 2024, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the passing of President Reagan. The day was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our 40th President's legacy and its enduring impact to this day and beyond. In a CBS piece that aired the night of President Reagan's death, Leslie Stahl concluded, quote, “Ending the Cold War will certainly be how he is remembered most in history.” If that was President Reagan's crowning foreign policy achievement, then Peace Through Strength was his most important guiding philosophy. As such, in today's Reagan Forum Podcast we focus on the second panel from our June 5th event – Leadership Abroad: Peace Through Strength. The panel was moderated by Fox News's Guy Benson. He sat down in discussion with Former UN Ambassador and President Reagan's Arms Control Director Ken Adelman, who is also the author of Reagan at Reykjavik, Paula Dobriansky, who served as director of European and Soviet Affairs on the Reagan National Security Council, Professor William Inboden, now of the University of Florida, the author of The Peacemaker: Ronald Reagan, the Cold War, and the World on the Brink, and KT McFarland, former U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor in the Reagan White House. During the hour-long panel, they discussed President Reagan's legacy, if we are still heeding his example, and how his Peace Through Strength Initiatives still impact us today.

Dr. Marci Bowers is a pelvic and gynecologic surgeon with more than 32 years' experience. She is the president of WPATH – the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Her gender diverse work has been highlighted through appearances on Oprah, CBS Sunday Morning, Discovery Health and the TLC reality series, “I am Jazz." She was interviewed in 2021 by Leslie Stahl for “60 Minutes.” Dr. Bowers is recognized as one of the 100 most influential LGBT people on the Guardian's World Pride Power List. She has performed more than 2250 primary Male-to-Female Vaginoplasties and 3900 Gender Affirming Surgeries overall. This episode is part of a series on trans rights. The impulse for these interviews is three bills currently moving through the Alaska State House: HB 183 which bans trans girls from playing girls sports; HB 105 which requires kids to get signed permission slips approving their preferred name and pronouns; and HB 338 which allows doctors to be sued up to 20 years after performing gender affirming procedures on trans youth.Alaska has many big problems. The pressing need to increase the funding of our public school system and finding a solution for an imminent energy crisis, for example. But instead of working on these very real, very substantial problems, we are spending the last weeks of session debating whether trans youth exist and have rights. They do exist; they do have rights.

How Do Agile Leaders Support Self-Organizing Teams This week, I want to talk about the leader's role regarding self-organizing teams.Influence, Don't CommandI got introduced to agile principles and practices back in the 1990s before people had formalized the term agile. I was leading software teams then, and just like now, I read every book I could get my hands on about how to be better at my job.One I enjoyed was Wicked Problems, Righteous Solutions. The authors, Peter DeGrace and Leslie Stahl, had read the original paper on Scrum by Takeuchi and Nonaka in the Harvard Business Review. So DeGrace and Stahl wrote about how in an agile approach like Scrum, leaders are still exerting control over teams. But here's the key as they saw it: much of that control is “subtle and indirect.” In fact, it's so subtle and indirect that influence may be a more accurate term than control.Agile leaders influence teams by the goals they pick, but they also influence teams in other ways, including via the team composition itself.Suppose you've got a software team and their goal is to finish an app and then hand it over to an ops group that will install it. So your team isn't charged with deploying the software, just getting it ready for deployment. Now imagine you decide to put a DevOps engineer on that team. That team will behave differently with an Ops person in the mix. I have no idea if they'll behave better or worse (it's going to depend on a lot of things) but I know they will do things differently. So team constitution is one way to influence.Leaders also have a tremendous influence on teams just by how they answer questions such as: How big of a problem do we give the team? How clearly have we defined the problem? And that's not a bad thing. Leaders are there to lead. When a manager exerts influence, someone might think, “Oh no, they're moving toward command and control.” But I disagree. Agile leaders have not only the right, but also the responsibility to exert their influence to help teams thrive. But that influence should be, as DeGrace and Stahl wrote, subtle and indirect.Recognizing the subtle ways they can bring out the best in teams will help leaders (and their organizations) succeed with agile. Another of my predictions comes true; this one from October 2022. Hunter Biden is going to plead guilty to minor offenses and get a slap on the wrist so that Democrats can claim the DOJ hasn't been weaponized against Trump. The timing is intended to influence the imminent Grand Jury in the Trump classified doc trial.Bret Baier is the Leslie Stahl of Fox News. This week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump has officially been indicted on 34 counts related to falsifying business documents as part of a "conspiracy" to impact the outcome of the 2016 election. We'll talk about the counts that he is facing and what it means for the future of the presidential race. Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced his run for the Republican nomination for President on Sunday, but he may have misjudged how "wounded" Trump is by the indictment. 60 Minutes performed the worst interview imaginable with Marjorie Taylor Greene this past weekend and Leslie Stahl allowed Greene to slander the entire Democratic Party - we'll explain what happened and why the media is responsible for creating so many conservative monsters. All that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire!

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: On Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, actor Bryan Cranston attempted to defend the adoption of critical race theory (CRT) in grade school classrooms. Zeoli explains the underlying ambition of CRT is Marxism and the abandonment of capitalism. On HBO's Real Time, comedian Bill Maher mocked Hollywood celebrities who routinely warn of climate change but continue to fly on private jets. How can they be taken seriously? Disney is permanently closing Splash Mountain—citing the rides “racist back story, drawn from the 1946 musical film “Song of the South,” writes The New York Times. Fans of the ride have begun buying/selling jars of water from the ride for as much as $150! Over the weekend, President Donald Trump said it would be “disloyal” of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to run for President in 2024. While speaking in New Hampshire, Trump also joked about Hunter Biden's incriminating laptop. Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford—newly appointed to President Biden's USDA 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee—spoke with Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes. Dr. Stanford claimed obesity is primarily driven by genetics and can't be treated with diet and exercise.
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (01/30/2023): 3:05pm- In his latest New York Post editorial, attorney Jonathan Turley argues that the Department of Justice needs to immediately investigate documents President Joe Biden gave to the University of Delaware. Turley writes, “[t]he university is sitting on Biden documents due to a cynical 2012 arrangement… The University of Delaware has been used for years to shield potentially embarrassing documents from public review for the Biden family, including allegations that the president engaged in sexual harassment or assault as a member of the Senate. The university effectively agreed to serve as a type of lockbox for the Bidens to prevent a review of his senatorial records as he ran for higher office.” Since it has now been determined that Biden improperly stored classified materials at both his Wilmington, DE home and his University of Pennsylvania office, isn't it reasonable to conclude classified material may be improperly housed at the University of Delaware as well? Why hasn't the Justice Department acted? 3:25pm- According to the Washington Examiner, a Pennsylvania jury has found Pastor Mark Houck not guilty. The pro-life father charged with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for protesting outside of an abortion clinic was notably arrested at his home during an over-the-top FBI raid. Pastor Bill Devlin calls in to describe the scene in the courtroom—and talks about the nationwide implications of this decision. 4:05pm- On CNN's State of the Union, host Dana Bash spoke with Representatives Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Adam Schiff (D-CA), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN)—all of whom were removed from prestigious House committee assignments by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Rep. Omar claimed she “wasn't aware” that her past comments could be considered anti-Semitic. Meanwhile, Rep. Schiff conceded he “should have been more clear” when denying contact with whistleblowers. 4:10pm- While appearing on Face the Nation, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy called out Margaret Brennan and the media for never referring to Democrats like Representatives Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Bennie Thompson (D-MS), or Jamie Raskin (D-MD) as “election deniers” despite their public questioning of the validity of past elections won by Republicans. 4:35pm- On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers and will now be headed to “The Big Game”—Rich isn't allowed to call the game anything else for legal reasons… 4:45pm- On Friday, Memphis officials released several disturbing videos showing police officers fatally beating Tyre Nichols. The video depicts officers hitting Nichols with batons following a traffic stop for alleged reckless driving. Fox News host Dan Bongino called on Conservatives and Libertarians to speak out against what happened to Nichols—explaining we need to stand for life and liberty. 4:50pm- Despite all police officers involved in the fatal beating of Tyre Nichols being Black, members of the far-left have called the horrifying event an example of “white supremacy.” MSNBC's Mehdi Hasan called on a renewed push for defunding the police. 5:05pm- On Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, actor Bryan Cranston attempted to defend the adoption of critical race theory (CRT) in grade school classrooms. Zeoli explains the underlying ambition of CRT is Marxism and the abandonment of capitalism. 5:25pm- On HBO's Real Time, comedian Bill Maher mocked Hollywood celebrities who routinely warn of climate change but continue to fly on private jets. How can they be taken seriously? 5:30pm- Disney is permanently closing Splash Mountain—citing the rides “racist back story, drawn from the 1946 musical film “Song of the South,” writes The New York Times. Fans of the ride have begun buying/selling jars of water from the ride for as much as $150! 5:45pm- Over the weekend, President Donald Trump said it would be “disloyal” of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to run for President in 2024. While speaking in New Hampshire, Trump also joked about Hunter Biden's incriminating laptop. 5:50pm- Dr. 6:05pm- While speaking with GBH News Boston, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) refused to explicitly endorse Kamala Harris for Vice President should President Joe Biden choose to run for reelection in 2024. 6:10pm- Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) defended parents who, after appearing at school board meetings and allegedly acting disruptively, had been targeted by FBI officials. Why was the FBI involved at all? Shouldn't this have been left to local police at most? 6:25pm- According to measurements from the CATO Institute and the Fraser Institute, 94% of the global population experienced a decline in freedom from 2019 to 2020. Disturbingly, human freedom was on the decline even before the COVID-19 pandemic—though, the emergence of the virus caused freedom to disappear at an alarming rate. 6:45pm- On Friday, journalist Matt Tiabbi released yet another series of “Twitter Files” showing that Twitter knowingly labeled real Americans as “Russian bots." Twitter's content moderators blamed fear of bad press for their decision.
Today we look at how poorly the Legacy/mainstream media seems to understand any of the basic tenants of democracy. If you believe in democratic principles, you have to believe in the value of debate. You have to cherish the concept of sharing ideas and arguing the merits. Unfortunately, we have unintelligent people who call themselves journalists. Leslie Stahl beclowned herself on the most recent edition of 60 Minutes talking about the 5 day delay for the Congress to start because of the 20 holdouts. She doesn't even really hear the argument she thinks she is making. Were she in a debate, she would have lost before even opening her mouth. I explain why taking time to establish the rules and confidence in a leader may be the most important vote these members of the House will cast. Mollie Hemingway, Editor in Chief of The Federalist, was on the Guy Benson Show where she was asked to comment on Leslie Stahl's inane comment about the opening of the 118th Congress. Without surprise, another Constitutionalist sees things in the same logical and methodical way we do here at The Alan Sanders Show. Next we move to the classified documents discovered back in early November at a private office used by, at the time, Vice President Joe Biden on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. CNN, in a move of brain-dead desperation, decided the best way to spin the issue to protect Joe Biden was to make a side-by-side comparison between the docs found in Biden's possession versus those found in Donald Trump's possession. While they attempt to excuse Biden, they have to hope you do not know the massive distinction they purposely left out of the discussion. That distinction, as we've discussed ad nauseum, Presidents have the Constitutional power to declassify anything they want for any reason, while no other position in government has that same power. Seems the documents contained highly classified subjects related to Iran, the United Kingdom and Ukraine. Why does it seem Ukraine is always part of the discussion over corruption and the Biden Crime Family. We cannot help but remember when he was VP, Joe Biden was asked by President Obama to manage the Ukraine portfolio right at the time his son, Hunter, was placed on the board of the corrupt energy company, Burisma. Constitutional expert and Law Professor Jonathan Turley put out a piece in the New York Post discussing the blatant hypocrisy of Joe Biden and how the Legacy/mainstream media is bending themselves over backwards to provide cover for him. Similarly, Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) tweeted Biden broke the law taking classified documents and now we know the Biden Center also received over $54 million dollars from anonymous Chinese donors with ties to the Communist Party. And the timing of those donations happened at the same time Hunter Biden was negotiation with the CEFC energy company in China where Joe Biden was designated as the Big Guy who was owed 10%. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) brings up national security concerns related to these findings, especially related to why the DOJ knew about the issue in early November and we are only just now hearing about it. This ties into the need for the new “Church” committee to be chaired by Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH). The vote to create the committee was voted YES by every Republican, while every Democrat voted NO. That means the modern democrat party has fallen so far from the days of JFK, where today they are admitting they want an authoritarian regime and do not care to follow the Constitution or abide by the Bill of Rights. We end on a moment of stupidity, illustrating just how far gone the Joe Biden Administration has become. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is looking to ban the use of natural gas stove and ranges for cooking. The absurdity is beyond belief and shows how much this government wants to control every element of your life. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. Full Hour | In today's third hour, Dom welcomes Dr. Marty Makary of Johns Hopkins and author of The Price We Pay: What Broke American Healthcare and How to Fix It, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to preview what to expect in the upcoming ‘Fauci files,' as promised by Twitter owner Elon Musk. After being asked whether the league will change anything, with Dr. Makary noting that while he hopes something will change with this, most of this suspect information is already out there. Then, Giordano and Makary discuss the overbearing censorship during Coronavirus, then moving into a conversation centered around Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin, who collapsed on the field. Dom asks Dr. Makary about the possibility that Hamlin's horrific event was related to a Coronavirus vaccine, with Dr. Makary telling that while chances are the event was unrelated by the vaccine, it's worth looking into, which is the opposite opinion of Dr. Fauci who outright dismissed the suggestion. Then, Dom moves back into a conversation centered on what he'd like to see out of the new Congress, asking listeners whether they've had it with the excess spending out of Washington. Jerry in Wilmington calls in, asking Dom if he watched yesterday's 60 Minutes, with causes both Dom and Jerry to call out 60 Minutes host Leslie Stahl for her biased ‘Final Minute' that called Republicans embarrassing for the lengthy Speaker vote.
